< Hebrews 4 >

1 We may fear, then, lest a promise being left of entering into His rest, anyone of you may seem to have come short,
Chobulyo, tutokomele kuti kanji kuwaniki niyobonahala kukangwa kukasika hesepiso ibashali kumasulenu enu kuti mukenjile mupumulo ya Ireeza.
2 for we also are having good news proclaimed, even as they, but the word heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard,
Mukuti tubawambilwa makande malotu sina njabo. Kono uwo mulaezo kanaubawoli kutusa abo basenababena hamwina mwitumelo nabo babakuteki.
3 for we enter into the rest—we who believed, as He said, “So I swore in My anger, They will [not] enter into My rest”; and yet the works were done from the foundation of the world,
Mukuti iswe tubazumini katwinjile mweyo ipumulo, sina mwabawambili, “Sina hanibakoki chabukali, Kufwa bulyo kwinjila mupumulo yangu.” Nihakwinabulyo, mitendo yakubumba ibamani kumatangilo ekanda.
4 for He spoke in a certain place concerning the seventh [day] thus: “And God rested in the seventh day from all His works”;
Mukuti abawambi kumwi kwamana nizuba Lesabata, “Ireeza abapumuli izuba Lesabata kumisebezi yakwe yonse,”
5 and in this [place] again, “They will [not] enter into My rest”;
Hape abawambi, “Mubakafwe benjile ipumulo yangu.”
6 since then, it remains for some to enter into it, and those who first heard good news did not enter in because of unbelief—
Chobulyo, lisibikilwe kuti bamwi kuti benjile mupumulo, imi sina habali bangi Maisilaele babazuwi makande malotu basanababenjili chebaka lyakusakuteka,
7 again He limits a certain day, “Today,” in David saying, after so long a time, as it has been said, “Today, if you may hear His voice, you may not harden your hearts,”
Ireeza hape abacho kubikwe limwi izuba lisupwa, “Sunu.” Kuzwa kumasule amazuba amwi, Abawambi chakusebelisa Davida, Sina habawambi kutanzi nati, “Sunu haiba muzuwa inzwi lyakwe kanjimukukutuhalisi inkulo zenu,”
8 for if Joshua had given them rest, He would not have spoken after these things concerning another day;
Mukuti haiba Joshua ababahele ipumulo, Ireeza nasana abawambi kuamana ni limwi izuba.
9 there remains, then, a Sabbath rest to the people of God,
Linuhaho kusina yimwi Isabata yepumulo ibikilwe bantu ba Ireeza.
10 for he who entered into His rest, he also rested from his works, as God from His own.
Mukuti yese winjili mupumulo ya Ireeza iye mwine chenjila mupumulo yamitendo yakwe, Sina Ireeza mwabatendeli kuyakwe.
11 May we be diligent, then, to enter into that rest, that no one may fall in the same example of the unbelief,
Chobulyo, tube nichiseho kwinjila mweyo ipumulo, kokuti kanji nikuwaniki yetenawile mumukwa wakusakuteka ubabatendi.
12 for the Word of God is living, and working, and sharper—beyond every two-edged sword—and piercing as far as [the] division of soul and spirit, of joints and also marrows, and a discerner of thoughts and intents of the heart;
Mukuti izwi lye Ireeza lihala imi lihwela imi lishengete kuhita mukwale ucheka mambali wonse. Lihweza bulyo ni kulukulula mozo ni luhuho, ni kukopanya kuzwila kumuhomo. Liwola kwiziba minahano ni milelo izwililila kunkulo.
13 and there is not a created thing hidden before Him, but all things [are] naked and open to His eyes—with whom is our reckoning.
Kakwina chibabumbwa chilipatite habusu bwa Ireeza. Kunzeyobulyo, zintu zonse ziza hanze ni kwiyaluka habusu bwakwe iye utulitabilila kwali.
14 Having, then, a great Chief Priest having passed through the heavens—Jesus the Son of God—may we hold fast the profession,
Chobulyo, kubona twina mupurista mukulwana iye yabahiti kumawulu akwiwulu, Jesu mwana wa Ireeza, tukwatilile kakukola kuchitubazumini.
15 for we do not have a Chief Priest unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but [One] tempted in all things in like manner, [yet] without sin;
Mukuti katwina muprista mukulwana yasawoli kutufwila inse kabufokoli bwetu. Nihakubabulyo, twina umwi iye yabalikwa munzila zonse sina mutulikilwa, nihakwinabulyo iye kena chive.
16 we may come near, then, with freedom, to the throne of grace, that we may receive kindness, and find grace—for seasonable help.
Linuhaho tuyende kakukola hachihuna chachisemo, mukuti tuwane kutambula inse ni kuwana chisemo chitusa mwinako ichisakahala.
