< Hebrews 4 >

1 We may fear, then, lest a promise being left of entering into His rest, anyone of you may seem to have come short,
Kulwejo, jichiileokubha bhalengelesi koleleki amwi mwimwe atja kubhao nolo umwi unu alabhonekana okusingwa okukingila omulago gunu chalagilwe ogwa lifungamya lya Nyamuanga.
2 for we also are having good news proclaimed, even as they, but the word heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard,
Kulwokubha chabhee nemisango jobhwana ingulu yo kufungamya kwa Nyamuanga linu lyalasibhwe kweswe lwa Bhaisraeli kutyo bhaliga bhanalyo, nawe omusango gunu gutabhasakie bhanu bhongwaga mbalema okugwikilisha.
3 for we enter into the rest—we who believed, as He said, “So I swore in My anger, They will [not] enter into My rest”; and yet the works were done from the foundation of the world,
Kweswe, kubhanu chekilisishe neswe amwi nabho bhalingila mukufungama, Lwakutyo eyaika, “Lwakutyo nalaiye kwa lisungu lyani, Bhatalingila mukufungama kwani. “Aikile ati, nolo kutyo emilimu jona jinu nakolele jaliga jikumiye okusoka kubhwambhilo bhwe chalo.
4 for He spoke in a certain place concerning the seventh [day] thus: “And God rested in the seventh day from all His works”;
Kulwejo alaikile elebhe ingulu yo lusiku lwa saba, “Nyamuanga aumuye kulusiku lwa saba kubhinu bhyona akolele.”
5 and in this [place] again, “They will [not] enter into My rest”;
Nalindi alaikile ati, “Bhatalingila mukuumula kwani.”
6 since then, it remains for some to enter into it, and those who first heard good news did not enter in because of unbelief—
Kulwainsonga eyo, okwambila okuumula kwa Nyamuanga bado gubhikilwe kubhandi bhanu bhalingila, nokwambila Abhaisiraeli bhamfu bhanu bhwonguhye emisango jobhwana ingulu yo kuumula kwae bhatengiye kulwokulema okungwa,
7 again He limits a certain day, “Today,” in David saying, after so long a time, as it has been said, “Today, if you may hear His voice, you may not harden your hearts,”
Nyamuanga ateewo lindi olusiku lulebhe, lunu olutogwa “Lelo.” Omwene ongesishe olusiku lunu anu alomele okulabhila Daudi, unu alomele nage kwo mwanya mulela ejile amala okwaika okwamba, “Lelo labha mukongwa obhulaka bhwae, mtakola emitima jemwe kubha mikomee.”
8 for if Joshua had given them rest, He would not have spoken after these things concerning another day;
Lwakutyo Joshua abhayanile okuumula, Nyamuanga atakaikile ingulu yolusiku olundi.
9 there remains, then, a Sabbath rest to the people of God,
Kulwejo ichalio Isabhato yo kuumula inu ibhikilwe ingulu ya bhanu bha Nyamuanga.
10 for he who entered into His rest, he also rested from his works, as God from His own.
Kulwokubha unu kengila mukuumula kwa Nyamuanga omwenela ona aumuye okulubhana ne bhikolwa bhyae, lwakutyo Nyamuanga akolele kumwene.
11 May we be diligent, then, to enter into that rest, that no one may fall in the same example of the unbelief,
Kulwejo chibhe nobhwila obhwokwingila mukuumla, koleleki ataja kubhao unu alagwa mubhunyantogwa bhunu bhakolele.
12 for the Word of God is living, and working, and sharper—beyond every two-edged sword—and piercing as far as [the] division of soul and spirit, of joints and also marrows, and a discerner of thoughts and intents of the heart;
Kulwokubha omusango gwa Nyamuanga nimuanga na lindi guna amanaga na guli no bhugi okukila lipanga lyona lyona linu lili nobhugi mbala ebhili. Na elisoma ndijeyi niligabhanya obhuanga no mwoyo, Na lino bhutulo bhwokumenya obhwiganilisha bhwo mwoyo nobhwikanyo bhwagwo.
13 and there is not a created thing hidden before Him, but all things [are] naked and open to His eyes—with whom is our reckoning.
Chitalio chinu chamogelwe chinu chiselekele mubhusu bhwa Nyamuanga. Kulwejo, bhuli chinu chili abhwelu mumeso goumwi unu ali bhusibhusi chisoshe olubhala.
14 Having, then, a great Chief Priest having passed through the heavens—Jesus the Son of God—may we hold fast the profession,
Cheile nchibha no mugabhisi mukulu unu engiye mulwile, Yesu Omwana wa Nyamuanga, chikomeshe chigwatilile elikilisha lyeswe.
15 for we do not have a Chief Priest unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but [One] tempted in all things in like manner, [yet] without sin;
Kulwokubha chitana mugabhisi mukulu unu atakutula kuchisasila kulwobhulenga bhweswe, nawe omwene kunjila jona ona aliga nalegejwa lweswe, nolo kutyo omwene aliga atana bhibhibhi.
16 we may come near, then, with freedom, to the throne of grace, that we may receive kindness, and find grace—for seasonable help.
Nachifogele kwa libhasi kuchitebhe che chigongo, koleleki chifwilwe echigongo na chibhone echigongo chokuchisakila mumwanya gwo bhukene.
