Hebrews 3
1 For this reason, holy brothers, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and Chief Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus,
इसलिये स्वर्गीय बुलाहट में भागीदार पवित्र प्रिय भाई बहनो, मसीह येशु पर ध्यान दो, जो हमारे लिए परमेश्वर के ईश्वरीय सुसमाचार के दूत तथा महापुरोहित हैं.
2 being faithful to Him who appointed Him, as also Moses [was] in all His house.
वह अपने चुननेवाले के प्रति उसी प्रकार विश्वासयोग्य बने रहे, जिस प्रकार परमेश्वर के सारे परिवार में मोशेह.
3 For this One has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as He who builds it has more honor than the house.
मसीह येशु मोशेह की तुलना में ऊंची महिमा के योग्य पाए गए, जिस प्रकार भवन की तुलना में भवन निर्माता.
4 For every house is built by someone, and He who built all things [is] God,
हर एक भवन का निर्माण किसी न किसी के द्वारा ही किया जाता है किंतु हर एक वस्तु के बनानेवाले परमेश्वर हैं.
5 and Moses [was] indeed steadfast in all His house, as an attendant, for a testimony of those things that were to be spoken—
जिन विषयों का वर्णन भविष्य में होने पर था, “उनकी घोषणा करने में परमेश्वर के सारे परिवार में मोशेह एक सेवक के रूप में विश्वासयोग्य थे,”
6 but Christ, as a Son over His house, whose house we are, if we hold fast the boldness and the rejoicing of the hope to the end.
किंतु मसीह एक पुत्र के रूप में अपने परिवार में विश्वासयोग्य हैं. और वह परिवार हम स्वयं हैं, यदि हम दृढ़ विश्वास तथा अपने आशा के गौरव को अंत तक दृढतापूर्वक थामे रहते हैं.
7 For this reason, as the Holy Spirit says, “Today, if you may hear His voice—
इसलिये ठीक जिस प्रकार पवित्र आत्मा का कहना है: “यदि आज, तुम उनकी आवाज सुनो,
8 you may not harden your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of the temptation in the wilderness,
तो अपने हृदय कठोर न कर लेना, जैसा तुमने मुझे उकसाते हुए बंजर भूमि, में परीक्षा के समय किया था,
9 in which your fathers tempted Me; they proved Me, and saw My works [for] forty years;
वहां तुम्हारे पूर्वजों ने चालीस वर्षों तक, मेरे महान कामों को देखने के बाद भी चुनौती देते हुए मुझे परखा था.
10 for this reason I was grieved with that generation and said, They always go astray in [their] heart, and these have not known My ways;
इसलिये मैं उस पीढ़ी से क्रोधित रहा; मैंने उनसे कहा, ‘हमेशा ही उनका हृदय मुझसे दूर हो जाता है, उन्हें मेरे आदेशों का कोई अहसास नहीं है.’
11 so I swore in My anger, They will [not] enter into My rest.”
इसलिये मैंने अपने क्रोध में शपथ ली, ‘मेरे विश्राम में उनका प्रवेश कभी न होगा.’”
12 Watch out, brothers, lest there will be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in the falling away from the living God,
प्रिय भाई बहनो, सावधान रहो कि तुम्हारे समाज में किसी भी व्यक्ति का ऐसा बुरा तथा अविश्वासी हृदय न हो, जो जीवित परमेश्वर से दूर हो जाता है.
13 but exhort one another every day, while [it] is called “Today,” that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin,
परंतु जब तक वह दिन, जिसे आज कहा जाता है, हमारे सामने है, हर दिन एक दूसरे को प्रोत्साहित करते रहो, ऐसा न हो कि तुममें से कोई भी पाप के छलावे के द्वारा कठोर बन जाए.
14 for we have become partakers of the Christ, if we may hold fast the confidence [we had] at the beginning to the end,
यदि हम अपने पहले भरोसे को अंत तक सुरक्षित बनाए रखते हैं, हम मसीह के सहभागी बने रहते हैं.
15 as it is said, “Today, if you may hear His voice, you may not harden your hearts, as in the provocation.”
जैसा कि वर्णन किया गया है: “यदि आज तुम उनकी आवाज सुनो तो अपने हृदय कठोर न कर लेना, जैसा तुमने उस समय मुझे उकसाते हुए किया था.”
16 For who [were those], having heard, [that] provoked, but not all those having come out of Egypt through Moses?
कौन थे वे, जिन्होंने उनकी आवाज सुनने के बाद उन्हें उकसाया था? क्या वे सभी नहीं, जिन्हें मोशेह मिस्र देश से बाहर निकाल लाए थे?
17 But with whom was He grieved forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose carcasses fell in the wilderness?
और कौन थे वे, जिनसे वह चालीस वर्ष तक क्रोधित रहे? क्या वे ही नहीं, जिन्होंने पाप किया और जिनके शव बंजर भूमि में पड़े रहे?
18 And to whom did He swear that they will not enter into His rest, except to those who did not believe?
और फिर कौन थे वे, जिनके संबंध में उन्होंने शपथ खाई थी कि वे लोग उनके विश्राम में प्रवेश नहीं पाएंगे? क्या ये सब वे ही नहीं थे, जिन्होंने आज्ञा नहीं मानी थी?
19 And we see that they were not able to enter in because of unbelief.
इसलिये यह स्पष्ट है कि अविश्वास के कारण वे प्रवेश नहीं पा सके.
