Hebrews 3
1 For this reason, holy brothers, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and Chief Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus,
Aboobo, nobakwesu basalala, anywebo muli aalukono mulwiito lwakujulu. Amuyeeye Jesu, mutumwa alimwi kali mupayizi mupati waluzumino lwesu.
2 being faithful to Him who appointed Him, as also Moses [was] in all His house.
Wakalisyomekede kuli Leza, wakamusala, mbuli mbaakasyomekede alakwe Mozesi mung'anda ya Leza.
3 For this One has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as He who builds it has more honor than the house.
Nkaambo Jesu wakajanika kali musalali abulemu bupati kwiinda bwa Mozesi, nkaambo ooyo uuyaka ng'anda ujana bulemu kwiinda ng'anda lwayo.
4 For every house is built by someone, and He who built all things [is] God,
Nkaambo ang'anda ang'anda ilamuntu uyiyaka, pesi wakayaka zyoonse ngu Leza.
5 and Moses [was] indeed steadfast in all His house, as an attendant, for a testimony of those things that were to be spoken—
Kulilimbi bbazu, Mozesi wakali zyomekede mung'anda ya Leza yoonse. Walkali kaamboni aatala azintu zyalikuzowambulwa mulilya juunza.
6 but Christ, as a Son over His house, whose house we are, if we hold fast the boldness and the rejoicing of the hope to the end.
Pesi Kkilisito mwana mweendelezi wang'anda ya Lez. Tuli ng'anda yakwe, na twajatisya kubusichaamba bwesu akubotelwa mukusima kwesu.
7 For this reason, as the Holy Spirit says, “Today, if you may hear His voice—
Aboobo, zilimbuli mbawamba Muuya Uusalala uti: “Sunu na mwalimvwa jwi lyakwe
8 you may not harden your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of the temptation in the wilderness,
mutayumyi myoyo yanu mbuli mulupapi, muchiindi chakusunkwa munkanda.
9 in which your fathers tempted Me; they proved Me, and saw My works [for] forty years;
Awa mpawo bamawuso nibaknodikpapila akundisunka lubo, alubo, mumyaaka makumi one bakabona nchito zyangu.
10 for this reason I was grieved with that generation and said, They always go astray in [their] heart, and these have not known My ways;
Aboobo zyalane eelyo telyakandibotezya pe. Ndakati, 'Bakkede kabasweeka mumyoyo yabo. Tabana kuziba nzila zyangu.'
11 so I swore in My anger, They will [not] enter into My rest.”
Kulibiyo mbuli mbundakakonka mukunyema kwangu: 'Tabakoyonjila pe mukulykookezya kwangu.'”
12 Watch out, brothers, lest there will be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in the falling away from the living God,
Amuchenjele, nobakwesu, kuchitila kuti akati kenu takubi naba omwe uyooba amoyo mubi wakutasyoma, moyo uuchija kuzwa kuli Leza uupona.
13 but exhort one another every day, while [it] is called “Today,” that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin,
Pesi, amusungwaazyanie abuzuba, biyo kalitegwa ngu “sunu,” kuchitila kuti kutakabi akati kenu uyoyuma moyo nkaambo ka lweeno lwachibi.
14 for we have become partakers of the Christ, if we may hold fast the confidence [we had] at the beginning to the end,
Nkaambo twakaba balyidilani aKkilisito, tulijisi busichaamba busimide mulinguwe kuzwa kumatalikilo kuyosika kumamanino.
15 as it is said, “Today, if you may hear His voice, you may not harden your hearts, as in the provocation.”
Aatala azeezi zyakaambwa kuti, “Sunu, na mwamvwa jwi lyakwe, mutayumyi moyo yenu, mbuli mulupapi.”
16 For who [were those], having heard, [that] provoked, but not all those having come out of Egypt through Moses?
Ngwani wakamvwa Leza mpawo wapapa? Teensi mbaabo boonse na bakazwa mu Ijipiti kabagwisigwa a Mozesi?
17 But with whom was He grieved forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose carcasses fell in the wilderness?
Ngwani ngwaakanyemenede kwamyaaka makumi one? Teensi mbaabo bakabisya na, aabo nbalamitunta yakawida musokwe?
18 And to whom did He swear that they will not enter into His rest, except to those who did not believe?
Nkulini nkwaakakonka kuti tabakoyonjila mukulyookezya kwakwe, na kakutali kuli aabo bakatamulemeka?
19 And we see that they were not able to enter in because of unbelief.
Alimwi tuli kubwene kuti tebakakonzya pe kunjila mukulyookezya kwakwe nkaambo kakutasyoma.
