< Hebrews 2 >
1 Because of this it is more abundantly necessary to take heed to the things heard, lest we may drift away,
Ngarud, masapul nga ad-adda nga ipangagtayo ti nangngegantayo tapno saantayo nga umadayo iti daytoy.
2 for if the word being spoken through messengers became steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just repayment,
Ta no pudno ti mensahe a naisao babaen kadagiti anghel, ken umawat iti maiparbeng a pannusa ti tunggal panaglabsing ken panagsukir,
3 how will we escape, having neglected such great salvation? Which having received [that] spoken through the LORD [from] the beginning, was confirmed to us by those having heard,
kasanotayo ngarud a makalibas no saantayo nga ikaskaso ti naindaklan a pannakaisalakan? —pannakaisalakan nga immuna nga impakaammo ti Apo kadatayo ken napaneknekan kadatayo dagiti nakangngeg iti daytoy.
4 God also bearing joint-witness both with signs and wonders, and manifold powers, and distributions of the Holy Spirit, according to His will.
Pinaneknekan met ti Dios daytoy babaen kadagiti pagilasinan, nakaskasdaaw, ken babaen iti nadumaduma a nabibileg nga ar-aramid, ken babaen dagiti sagut ti Espiritu Santo nga imbunongna segun iti pagayatanna.
5 For He did not subject the coming world to messengers, concerning which we speak,
Saan a dagiti anghel ti pagturayen iti Dios iti lubong nga umay, nga isu iti sarsaritaenmi.
6 and one in a certain place testified fully, saying, “What is man, that You are mindful of him, Or a son of man, that You look after him?
Ngem ketdi, adda idi iti nangpaneknek iti maysa a lugar a kunana, “Siasino aya ti tao ta silalagipka kenkuana? Wenno ti anak ti tao ta ipategmo isuna?
7 You made him [a] little less than messengers, You crowned him with glory and honor, And set him over the works of Your hands,
Inaramidmo ti tao a nababbaba bassit ngem kadagiti anghel; binalangatam isuna iti dayag ken dayaw.
8 You put all things in subjection under his feet,” for in the subjecting to Him all things, He left nothing to Him unsubjected, but now we do not yet see all things subjected to Him,
Inkabilmo ti tunggal banag iti sakaananna tapno iturayanna.” Ta pinaiturayan ti Dios ti amin a banag iti sangkatao-an. Awan aniaman a banag nga imbatina a saanna a pinaiturayan kenkuana. Ngem ita, saantayo pay laeng a makita nga iturturayanna ti amin a banag.
9 and we see Him who was made [a] little less than messengers—Jesus—because of the suffering of death, having been crowned with glory and honor, that by the grace of God He might taste of death for everyone.
No pay kasta, makitkitatayo ti napagbalin a nababbaba iti apagbiit, nababbaba ngem dagiti anghel— ni Jesus, nga isu, gapu iti panagsagaba ken pannakatayna, ket nabalangatan iti dayag ken dayaw. Isu nga ita, gapu iti parabur ti Dios, naramanan ni Jesus ti pannakatay para iti amin a tattao.
10 For it was fitting to Him, because of whom [are] all things, and through whom [are] all things, bringing many sons to glory, to make the author of their salvation perfect through sufferings,
Rumbeng laeng a ti Dios, gapu ta agbibiag ti tunggal banag a maipaay ken babaen kenkuana, ket ipanna ti adu nga annak iti dayagna, ken pagbalinenna a naan-anay ti pannakaisalakan ti mangidadaulo babaen kadagiti panagsagsagabana.
11 for both He who is sanctifying and those sanctified [are] all of one, for which cause He is not ashamed to call them brothers,
Ta agpada a naggapu iti Dios ti mangisagsagut ken dagiti naisagut. Gapu iti daytoy, saan a mabain ti nangisagut kadakuada iti Dios a mangawag kadakuada a kakabsat.
12 saying, “I will declare Your Name to My brothers, In the midst of an assembly I will sing praise to You”; and again, “I will be trusting on Him”;
Kunana, “Ipakaammokto ti naganmo kadagiti kakabsatko, ikankantakto ti maipanggep kenka manipud iti taripnong.
13 and again, “Behold, I and the children that God gave to Me.”
Ket kunana manen, “Agtalekak kenkuana.” Ken kunana manen, “Kitaem, adtoyak ken dagiti annak nga inted ti Dios kaniak.
14 Seeing, then, the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself also took part of the same in like manner, that through death He might destroy him having the power of death—that is, the Devil—
Ngarud, yantangay ta addaan iti lasag ken dara dagiti amin nga annak ti Dios, addaan met ni Jesus kadagiti isu met laeng a banbanag, tapno babaen iti ipapatay, mabalin a pagbalinenna nga awanan bileg ti addaan iti bileg ti patay, dayta ket ti diablo.
15 and might deliver those, whoever, with fear of death, throughout all their life, were subjects of bondage,
Daytoy ket tapno wayawayaanna dagiti nagbiag iti pannakatagabu iti unos ti panagbiagda gapu iti panagbuteng iti pannakatay.
16 for doubtless, He does not lay hold of messengers, but He lays hold of [the] seed of Abraham,
Ta awan duadua a saan a dagiti anghel ti tultulonganna. Ngem ketdi, tultulonganna dagiti kaputotan ni Abraham.
17 for this reason it seemed necessary to Him to be made like the brothers in all things, that He might become a kind and faithful Chief Priest in the things related to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people,
Kasapulan ngarud nga agbalin isuna a kas kadagiti kakabsatna iti amin a wagas, tapno agbalin isuna a naasi ken napudno a kangatoan a padi kadagiti banbanag ti Dios, ken tapno magun-odna ti panakapakawan ti basbasol dagiti tattao.
18 for in that He suffered, Himself being tempted, He is able to help those who are tempted.
Gapu ta nagsagaba mismo ni Jesus, napadas met isuna, kabaelanna a tulongan dagiti mapadpadas.
