< Hebrews 13 >

1 Let brotherly love remain.
ⲁ̅ϮⲘⲈⲦⲘⲀⲒⲤⲞⲚ ⲘⲀⲢⲈⲤϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲈⲤⲤⲘⲞⲚⲦ.
2 Do not be forgetful of hospitality, for through this some entertained messengers unaware.
ⲃ̅ϮⲘⲈⲦⲘⲀⲒϢⲈⲘⲘⲞ ⲘⲠⲈⲢⲈⲢⲠⲈⲤⲰⲂϢ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲄⲀⲢ ϨⲒⲦⲈⲚ ⲐⲀⲒ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲈⲂϢⲒ ⲀϨⲀⲚⲞⲨⲞⲚ ϢⲈⲠ ϨⲀⲚⲀⲄⲄⲈⲖⲞⲤ ⲈⲢⲰⲞⲨ.
3 Be mindful of those in bonds, as having been bound with them, of those maltreated, as yourselves also being in the body.
ⲅ̅ⲀⲢⲒⲪⲘⲈⲨⲒ ⲚⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲤⲞⲚϨ ϨⲰⲤ ⲈⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚⲤⲞⲚϨ ⲚⲈⲘⲰⲞⲨ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲘⲞⲔϨ ϨⲰⲤ ⲈⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚϢⲞⲠ ϨⲰⲦⲈⲚ ϦⲈⲚⲤⲰⲘⲀ.
4 The marriage [is to be] honored by all, and the bed undefiled, for God will judge whoremongers and adulterers.
ⲇ̅ⲠⲒⲄⲀⲘⲞⲤ ⲦⲀⲒⲎⲞⲨⲦ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ϮϢⲀⲒⲢⲒ ⲦⲞⲨⲂⲎⲞⲨⲦ ⲚⲒⲠⲞⲢⲚⲞⲤ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲒⲚⲰⲒⲔ ⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲚⲀϮϨⲀⲠ ⲈⲢⲰⲞⲨ.
5 [Be] without covetous behavior, being content with the things present, for He has said, “No, I will not leave, no, nor forsake you,”
ⲉ̅ⲠⲈⲦⲈⲚⲦⲢⲞⲠⲞⲤ ⲚⲞⲨⲘⲈⲦⲘⲀⲒϨⲀⲦ ⲀⲚ ⲠⲈ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲦϢⲞⲠ ⲈⲨⲈⲢⲰϢⲒ ⲘⲘⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲚⲐⲞϤ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲀϤϪⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ⲚⲚⲀⲤⲰϪⲠⲔ ⲞⲨⲆⲈ ⲚⲚⲀⲬⲀⲔ ⲚⲤⲰⲒ.
6 so that we boldly say, “The LORD [is] to me a helper, and I will not fear what man will do to me.”
ⲋ̅ϨⲰⲤⲦⲈ ⲈⲚⲦⲀϪⲢⲎⲞⲨⲦ ⲀⲚⲞⲚ ⲈⲚϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ⲠϬⲞⲒⲤ ⲠⲈ ⲠⲀⲂⲞⲎⲐⲞⲤ ⲚⲚⲀⲈⲢϨⲞϮ ϪⲈ ⲞⲨ ⲠⲈⲦⲈ ⲢⲰⲘⲒ ⲚⲀⲀⲒϤ ⲚⲎⲒ.
7 Be mindful of those leading you, who spoke to you the word of God, who, considering the outcome of [their] behavior, imitate [their] faith:
ⲍ̅ⲀⲢⲒⲪⲘⲈⲨⲒ ⲚⲚⲈⲦⲈⲚϨⲨⲄⲞⲨⲘⲈⲚⲞⲤ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲀⲨⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲚⲈⲘⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲘⲠⲒⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲚⲦⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲚⲀⲒ ⲈⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚⲚⲀⲨ ⲈⲠⲒϪⲒⲚⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲞⲨϪⲒⲚⲘⲞϢⲒ ϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲈⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚⲞⲚⲒ ⲘⲠⲞⲨⲚⲀϨϮ.
8 Jesus Christ—the same yesterday and today and for all ages. (aiōn g165)
ⲏ̅ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ ⲚⲤⲀϤ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲪⲞⲞⲨ ⲚⲐⲞϤ ⲚⲐⲞϤ ⲠⲈ ⲚⲈⲘ ϢⲀ ⲈⲚⲈϨ. (aiōn g165)
9 Do not be carried away with strange and manifold teachings, for [it is] good that by grace the heart is confirmed, not with meats, in which they who were occupied were not profited;
ⲑ̅ϨⲀⲚⲤⲂⲰ ⲚⲞⲨⲐⲞ ⲚⲢⲎϮ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚϢⲈⲘⲘⲞ ⲘⲠⲈⲚⲐⲢⲞⲨⲞⲨⲈⲦⲈⲂ ⲐⲎⲚⲞⲨ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲚⲀⲚⲈⲤ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲈⲦⲀϪⲢⲈ ⲠⲈⲦⲈⲚϨⲎⲦ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨϨⲘⲞⲦ ϦⲈⲚϨⲀⲚϦⲢⲎⲞⲨⲒ ⲀⲚ ⲚⲀⲒ ⲈⲦⲈ ⲘⲠⲞⲨϪⲈⲘϨⲎ ⲞⲨ ⲚϦⲎⲦⲞⲨ ⲚϪⲈⲚⲎ ⲈⲐⲘⲞϢⲒ ⲚϦⲎⲦⲞⲨ.
10 we have an altar from which they who are serving the Dwelling Place have no authority to eat,
ⲓ̅ⲈⲞⲨⲞⲚⲦⲀⲚ ⲘⲘⲀⲨ ⲚⲞⲨⲘⲀ ⲚⲈⲢϢⲰⲞⲨϢⲒ ⲪⲀⲒ ⲈⲦⲈ ⲘⲘⲞⲚⲦⲞⲨ ⲈⲢϢⲒϢⲒ ⲈⲞⲨⲰⲘ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲚϦⲎⲦϤ ⲚϪⲈⲚⲎ ⲈⲦϢⲈⲘϢⲒ ⲚϮⲤⲔⲎⲚⲎ.
11 for of those beasts whose blood is brought for sin into the holy places through the chief priest—of these the bodies are burned outside the camp.
ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ⲚⲒⲌⲰⲞⲨⲚ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲈⲦⲈϢⲀⲨⲒⲚⲒ ⲘⲠⲞⲨⲤⲚⲞϤ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ⲈⲚⲈⲐⲞⲨⲀⲂ ⲈϪⲈⲚ ⲪⲚⲞⲂⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲒⲦⲞⲦϤ ⲘⲠⲒⲀⲢⲬⲒⲈⲢⲈⲨⲤ ϢⲀⲨⲢⲈⲔϨ ⲠⲤⲰⲘⲀ ⲚⲦⲈⲚⲀⲒ ⲤⲀⲂⲞⲖ ⲚϮⲠⲀⲢⲈⲘⲂⲞⲖⲎ.
12 For this reason, also Jesus—that He might sanctify the people through [His] own blood—suffered outside the gate;
ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ⲈⲐⲂⲈⲪⲀⲒ ϨⲰϤ ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ϨⲒⲚⲀ ⲚⲦⲈϤⲦⲞⲨⲂⲞ ⲘⲠⲒⲖⲀⲞⲤ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲒⲦⲈⲚ ⲠⲈϤⲤⲚⲞϤ ⲘⲘⲒⲚ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ⲀϤϢⲈⲠⲘⲔⲀϨ ⲤⲀⲂⲞⲖ ⲚϮⲠⲨⲖⲎ.
13 now then, may we go forth to Him outside the camp, bearing His reproach;
ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ϮⲚⲞⲨ ⲞⲨⲚ ⲘⲀⲢⲈⲚϢⲈ ⲚⲀⲚ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϢⲀⲢⲞϤ ⲤⲀⲂⲞⲖ ⲚϮⲠⲀⲢⲈⲘⲂⲞⲖⲎ ⲈⲚϤⲀⲒ ⲘⲠⲈϤϢⲰϢ ⲈⲢⲞⲚ.
14 for we have no abiding city here, but we seek the coming one.
ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ⲘⲘⲞⲚⲦⲀⲚ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲘⲠⲀⲒⲘⲀ ⲚⲞⲨⲂⲀⲔⲒ ⲈⲤⲤⲘⲞⲚⲦ ⲀⲖⲖⲀ ⲐⲎ ⲈⲐⲚⲎⲞⲨ ⲈⲦⲈⲚⲔⲰϮ ⲚⲤⲰⲤ.
15 Through Him, then, we may always offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips, giving thanks to His Name.
ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ⲘⲀⲢⲈⲚⲒⲚⲒ ⲞⲨⲚ ⲈϨⲢⲎⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲒⲦⲞⲦϤ ⲚϨⲀⲚϢⲞⲨϢⲰⲞⲨϢⲒ ⲚⲤⲘⲞⲨ ⲚⲤⲎⲞⲨ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲘⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲈⲦⲈ ⲪⲀⲒ ⲠⲈ ⲠⲞⲨⲦⲀϨ ⲚⲦⲈⲚⲈⲚⲤⲪⲞⲦⲞⲨ ⲈⲚⲞⲨⲰⲚϨ ⲘⲠⲈϤⲢⲀⲚ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ.
16 And do not be forgetful of doing good and of fellowship, for God is well-pleased with such sacrifices.
ⲓ̅ⲋ̅ϮⲘⲈⲦⲢⲈϤⲈⲢϨⲈⲂⲚⲞⲨϤⲒ ⲆⲈ ⲚⲈⲘ ϮⲘⲈⲦϢⲪⲎⲢ ⲘⲠⲈⲢⲈⲢⲠⲞⲨⲰⲂϢ ϨⲀⲚϢⲞⲨϢⲰⲞⲨϢⲒ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲘⲠⲀⲒⲢⲎϮ ϢⲀⲨⲢⲀⲚⲀϤ ⲘⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ.
17 Be obedient to those leading you, and be subject, for these watch for your souls, as about to give account, that they may do this with joy, and not sighing, for this [is] unprofitable to you.
ⲓ̅ⲍ̅ⲘⲀⲢⲈ ⲠⲈⲦⲈⲚϨⲎⲦ ⲐⲰⲦ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲈⲦⲈⲚϨⲨⲄⲞⲨⲘⲈⲚⲞⲤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲤⲰⲦⲈⲘ ⲚⲤⲰⲞⲨ ⲚⲐⲰⲞⲨ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲈⲦⲞⲒ ⲚϢⲢⲰⲒⲤ ⲈϪⲈⲚ ⲚⲈⲦⲈⲚⲮⲨⲬⲎ ϨⲰⲤ ⲈⲨⲚⲀϮⲖⲞⲄⲞⲤ ⲈϪⲰⲦⲈⲚ ϨⲒⲚⲀ ⲚⲤⲈⲈⲢ ⲪⲀⲒ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲢⲀϢⲒ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲤⲈϤⲒⲀϨⲞⲘ ⲀⲚ ⲪⲀⲒ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲠⲈⲦⲈⲢⲚⲞϤⲢⲒ ⲚⲰⲦⲈⲚ.
18 Pray for us, for we trust that we have a good conscience, willing to behave well in all things,
ⲓ̅ⲏ̅ⲦⲰⲂϨ ⲈϨⲢⲎⲒ ⲈϪⲰⲚ ⲠⲈⲚϨⲎⲦ ⲆⲈ ⲐⲎⲦ ϪⲈ ⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲚⲦⲀⲚ ⲘⲘⲀⲨ ⲚⲞⲨⲤⲨⲚⲎⲆⲈⲤⲒⲤ ⲈⲚⲀⲚⲈⲤ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲈⲚⲞⲨⲰϢ ⲈⲘⲞϢⲒ ⲚⲔⲀⲖⲰⲤ.
19 and I call on [you] to do this more abundantly, that I may be restored to you more quickly.
ⲓ̅ⲑ̅ⲚϨⲞⲨⲞ ⲆⲈ ϮⲦⲰⲂϨ ⲈⲈⲢ ⲪⲀⲒ ϨⲒⲚⲀ ⲚⲤⲈⲦⲪⲞⲒ ϨⲀⲢⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲚⲬⲰⲖⲈⲘ.
20 And the God of peace, who brought up the Great Shepherd of the sheep out of the dead—by the blood of a perpetual covenant—our Lord Jesus, (aiōnios g166)
ⲕ̅ⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲆⲈ ⲚⲦⲈϮϨⲒⲢⲎⲚⲎ ⲪⲎ ⲈⲦⲀϤⲒⲚⲒ ⲈⲠϢⲰⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲚⲎ ⲈⲐⲘⲰⲞⲨⲦ ⲘⲠⲒⲚⲒϢϮ ⲘⲘⲀⲚⲈⲤⲰⲞⲨ ⲚⲦⲈⲚⲒⲈⲤⲰⲞⲨ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲒⲤⲚⲞϤ ⲚⲦⲈϮⲆⲒⲀⲐⲎⲔⲎ ⲚⲈⲚⲈϨ ⲠⲈⲚϬⲞⲒⲤ ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ. (aiōnios g166)
21 make you perfect in every good work to do His will, doing in you that which is well-pleasing before Him, through Jesus Christ, to whom [is] the glory through the ages of the ages! Amen. (aiōn g165)
ⲕ̅ⲁ̅ⲈϤⲈⲤⲈⲂⲦⲈ ⲐⲎⲚⲞⲨ ϦⲈⲚⲀⲄⲀⲐⲞⲚ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲈⲠϪⲒⲚⲒⲢⲒ ⲘⲠⲈϤⲞⲨⲰϢ ⲈϤⲒⲢⲒ ⲚⲀϤ ⲘⲠⲈⲐⲢⲀⲚⲀϤ ⲚϦⲢⲎⲒ ⲚϦⲎⲦⲈⲚ ⲘⲠⲈϤⲘⲐⲞ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲒⲦⲈⲚ ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ ⲪⲎ ⲈⲦⲈ ⲪⲰϤ ⲠⲈ ⲠⲒⲰⲞⲨ ϢⲀ ⲈⲚⲈϨ ⲚⲦⲈⲚⲒⲈⲚⲈϨ ⲀⲘⲎⲚ. (aiōn g165)
22 And I beg you, brothers, endure the word of the exhortation, for I have also written to you through few words.
ⲕ̅ⲃ̅ϮϮϨⲞ ⲈⲢⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲚⲀⲤⲚⲎⲞⲨ ⲀⲢⲒⲀⲚⲈⲬ ⲈⲤⲐⲈ ⲘⲠⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲒϮϨⲞ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲄⲀⲢ ϨⲒⲦⲈⲚ ϨⲀⲚⲔⲞⲨϪⲒ ⲀⲒⲤϦⲀⲒ ⲚⲰⲦⲈⲚ.
23 Know that the brother Timotheus is released, with whom I will see you, if he may come more shortly.
ⲕ̅ⲅ̅ⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚⲤⲰⲞⲨⲚ ⲘⲠⲈⲚⲤⲞⲚ ⲦⲒⲘⲞⲐⲈⲞⲤ ⲪⲎ ⲈⲦⲀⲨⲬⲀϤ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲪⲀⲒ ⲀϤϢⲀⲚⲒ ⲚⲬⲰⲖⲈⲘ ⲈⲒⲈⲚⲀⲨ ⲈⲢⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲚⲈⲘⲀϤ.
24 Greet all those leading you, and all the holy ones. Those from Italy greet you.
ⲕ̅ⲇ̅ϢⲒⲚⲒ ⲈⲚⲈⲦⲈⲚϨⲨⲄⲞⲨⲘⲈⲚⲞⲤ ⲦⲎⲢⲞⲨ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲒⲀⲄⲒⲞⲤ ⲦⲎⲢⲞⲨ ⲤⲈϢⲒⲚⲒ ⲈⲢⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲚϪⲈⲚⲀ ϮϨⲨⲦⲀⲖⲒⲀ.
25 The grace [is] with you all! Amen.
