Haggai 2
1 In the seventh [month], on the twenty-first of the month, a word of YHWH has been by the hand of Haggai the prophet, saying,
सातौँ महिनाको एक्काईसौँ दिनमा, अगमवक्ता हाग्गैद्धारा परमप्रभुको यस्तो वचन आयो,
2 “Now speak to Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua son of Josedech, the high priest, and to the remnant of the people, saying,
यहूदाका राज्यपाल, शालतिएलका छोरा यरुबाबेल, र यहोसादाकका छोरा प्रधान पूजाहारी यहोशू, र बाँकी रहेका मानिसहरूलाई यस्तो भन् ।
3 Who among you has been left that saw this house in its former glory? And what are you seeing it now? Is it not, compared with it, as nothing in your eyes?
‘तिमीहरूमध्ये को बाँकी छ जसले यो भवनलाई त्यसको पहिलेको महिमामा देखेको थियो? अहिले तिमीहरूले यो कस्तो देख्छौ? के तिमीहरूका नजरमा यो केही मोल नभएको जस्तो छैन र?
4 And now, be strong, O Zerubbabel,” A declaration of YHWH, “And be strong, O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest, And be strong, all you people of the land,” A declaration of YHWH, “And do, for I [am] with you,” A declaration of YHWH of Hosts.
अब, यरुबाबेल साहसी हो! - परमप्रभु घोषणा गर्नुहुन्छ, र यहोसादाकका छोरा यहोशू साहसी हो, र भूमिका सबै मानिसहरू, साहसी होओ! - परमप्रभु घोषणा गर्नुहुन्छ- र काम गर्, किनकि म तिमीहरूसँग छु! यो सेनाहरूका परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो ।
5 “The thing that I covenanted with you, In your coming forth from Egypt, And My Spirit is remaining in your midst, do not fear.”
यो त्यही करार हो जुन मैले तिमीहरू मिश्रदेशबाट बाहिर आउँदा तिमीहरूसँग स्थापित गरेको थिएँ, र मेरो आत्मा तिमीहरूसँग छ । नडराओ!
6 For thus said YHWH of Hosts: “Yet once more—it [is] a little, And I am shaking the heavens and the earth, And the sea, and the dry land,
किनभने सेनाहरूका परमप्रभु यस्तो भन्नुहुन्छ: केही समयमा, म फेरि आकाश र पृथ्वी, र समुद्र र सुक्खा भूमिलाई हल्लाउनेछु!
7 And I have shaken all the nations, And they have come [to] the desire of all the nations, And I have filled this house [with] glory,” said YHWH of Hosts.
म हरेक जातिलाई हल्लाउनेछु, र हरेक जातिले तिनीहरूका बहुमुल्य थोकहरू मकहाँ ल्याउनेछन्, अनि म यो भवनलाई महिमाले भर्नेछु, सेनाहरूका परमप्रभु भन्नुहुन्छ ।
8 “The silver [is] Mine, and the gold [is] Mine,” A declaration of YHWH of Hosts.
चाँदी र सुन मेरै हुन्! - सेनाहरूका परमप्रभु यो घोषणा गर्नुहुन्छ ।
9 “Greater is the glory of this latter house, Than of the former,” said YHWH of Hosts, “And I give peace in this place,” A declaration of YHWH of Hosts.
यस भवनको महिमा सुरुवातको समयको भन्दा पछि अति महान् हुनेछ, सेनाहरूका परमप्रभु भन्नुहुन्छ, र म यस ठाउँमा शान्ति दिनेछु - सेनाहरूका परमप्रभु यो घोषणा गर्नुहुन्छ ।”
10 On the twenty-fourth of the ninth [month], in the second year of Darius, a word of YHWH has been by the hand of Haggai the prophet, saying,
दाराको दोस्रो वर्षको नवौँ महिनाको चौबीसौँ दिनमा, अगमवक्ता हाग्गैद्धारा परमप्रभुको यस्तो वचन आयो,
11 Thus said YHWH of Hosts: “Now ask the priests of the Law, saying,
“सेनाहरूका परमप्रभु यस्तो भन्नुहुन्छ: व्यवस्थाको विषयमा पूजाहारीहरुलाई सोध्,
12 Behold, [when] one carries holy flesh in the skirt of his garment, and he has come with his skirt against the bread, or against the stew, or against the wine, or against the oil, or against any food—is it holy?” And the priests answer and say, “No.”
‘परमप्रभुको निम्ति अलग गरिएको मासुलाई कसैले आफ्नो लुगामा पोको पारेर लग्यो, र त्यो पोकोले रोटी वा सुरुवा, मद्य वा तेल, वा कुनै भोजनलाई छोयो भने, के त्यो पवित्र हुन्छ?’” पूजाहारीहरुले यस्तो जवाफ दिए, “हुँदैन ।”
13 And Haggai says, “If the unclean of body comes against any of these, is it unclean?” And the priests answer and say, “It is unclean.”
अनि हाग्गैले भने, “मरेको मानिस छोएर अशुद्ध भएको कोहीले यी कुराहरू छोयो भने, के ती अशुद्ध हुन्छन्?” पूजाहारीहरुले जवाफ दिए, “हो, ती अशुद्ध हुन्छन् ।”
14 And Haggai answers and says, “So [is] this people, and so [is] this nation before Me,” a declaration of YHWH, “and so [is] every work of their hands, and that which they bring near there—it is unclean.
यसैकारण हाग्गैले जवाफ दिए, “यसैकारण मेरो अगि यी मानिसहरू र यो जाति, र तिनीहरूका हातले गरेका सबै कुरा यस्तै छन्! - परमप्रभु घोषणा गर्नुहुन्छ । तिनीहरूले मलाई अर्पण गरेका कुरा अशुद्ध छन्!
15 And now, please lay [it] to your heart, From this day and onward, Before the laying of stone to stone in the temple of YHWH.
यसैकारण अब, आजको दिनसम्म पुर्याउने बितेको समयको बारेमा विचार गर । परमप्रभुको मन्दिरमा एउटा ढुङ्गामाथि अर्को ढुङ्गा राख्नअगि त्यो कस्तो थियो?
16 From that time [one] has come to a heap of twenty, And it has been ten, He has come to the wine vat to draw out fifty measures, And it has been twenty.
तिमीहरू बिस मुरी अन्नको छेऊमा आउँदा, त्यहाँ दश मात्र थिए, र तिमीहरू पचास लिटर दखमद्य लिन कोलमा आउँदा, त्यहाँ बिसमात्र थिए ।
17 I have struck you with blasting, And with mildew, and with hail—All the work of your hands, And there is none of you with Me,” A declaration of YHWH.
मैले तिमीहरू र तिमीहरूका सबै कामहरूलाई शीत र ढुसीले सताएँ, तर पनि तिमीहरू मकहाँ फर्केनौ, परमप्रभु घोषणा गर्नुहुन्छ ।
18 “Now set [it] to your heart, from this day and onward, from the twenty-fourth day of the ninth [month], even from the day that the temple of YHWH has been founded, set [it] to your heart.
नवौँ महिनाको चौबीसौँ दिनबाट उसो परमप्रभुको मन्दिरको जग बसालिएको कुरामाथि ध्यान देओ ।
19 Is the seed yet in the barn? And until now the vine and the fig, And the pomegranate, and the olive-tree, Have not borne—from this day I bless.”
के भण्डारमा अझै बीउ छ? दाखको बोट, अन्जिरको रूख, अनार, र जैतूनको रूखले फल दिएको छैन । तर यस दिनदेखि म तिमीहरूलाई आशिष् दिनेछु!”
20 And there is a word of YHWH a second time to Haggai, on the twenty-fourth of the month, saying,
त्यस महिनाको चौबीसौँ दिनमा परमप्रभुको यस्तो वचन फेरि एक पटक हाग्गैकहाँ आयो,
21 “Speak to Zerubbabel governor of Judah, saying, I am shaking the heavens and the earth,
“‘मैले आकाश र पृथ्वी हल्लाउनेछु भनी यहूदाका राज्यपाल यरुबाबेललाई भन् ।
22 And have overturned the throne of kingdoms, And I have destroyed the strength of kingdoms of the nations, And overturned chariot and its charioteers, And horses and their riders have come down, Each by the sword of his brother.
किनभने म जाति-जातिहरूका राज्यहरूको सिंहासनलाई पल्टाइदिनेछु र तिनीहरूका शक्तिलाई नष्ट गर्नेछु । रथहरू र तिनीहरूमा सवारहरूलाई म पल्टाइदिनेछु । घोडाहरू र तिनमा सवारहरू आफ्ना दाजुभाइहरूका तरवारद्धारा तल खस्नेछन् ।
23 In that day,” a declaration of YHWH of Hosts, “I take you, Zerubbabel, son of Shealtiel, My servant,” A declaration of YHWH, “And have set you as a signet, For I have fixed on you,” A declaration of YHWH of Hosts!
सेनाहरूका परमप्रभु घोषणा गर्नुहुन्छ, त्यस दिन ए शालतिएलका छोरा यरुबाबेल, म तँलाई मेरो दास बनाउनेछु । म तँलाई छाप-औँठीझैँ बनाउनेछु, किनभने मैले तँलाई चुनेको छु! परमप्रभु घोषणा गर्नुहुन्छ!’”
