1 On my charge I stand, and I station myself on a bulwark, and I watch to see what He speaks against me, and what I reply to my reproof.

4 Behold, a presumptuous one! His soul is not upright within him, And the righteous lives by his faith.
Mi kilesah chu vetem in! Amaho tah akisong uvin, chuleh ahinkho mandan’u chu akon chetchut nin ahi. Hinlah midih chu Pathena dinga tahsan aum nauva hing ding ahiuve.
5 And also, because the wine [is] treacherous, A man is haughty, and does not remain at home, Who has enlarged his soul as Sheol, And is as death that is not satisfied, And gathers to itself all the nations, And assembles to itself all the peoples, (Sheol h7585)
Nei le nga hao mana lungngahna thei ahidehpoi, chuleh mihoitho hon kicholdona anei hih uve. Amahon lhan tobang'in akamu chu ahonglenun, chuleh thina kisei tobang'in aphatai atipouve. Akiloset manuvin amahon namtina mi akhom khomuvin, chuleh mitampi chu aval lhum tauve. (Sheol h7585)
6 Are these not—all of them—an allegory taken up against him, And a moral of acute sayings for him, And say, Woe [to] him who is multiplying [what is] not his? Until when also is he multiplying to himself heavy pledges?
Hinla asoh chan loi jengu hin amaho ajumso ding’u ahi. Amaho chun dai thanopna anei uva, Migucha nangho itobang lunghemna in nahinphah diu hitam? Tua hi nachan ding dol’u na kimu ding’u ahi! Alamlouva na hung hao dohu ahin, hinlah itih chanpi hi hitia na masot nahlai dingu ham?
7 Do your usurers not instantly rise up, And those shaking you awake, And you have been a spoil to them?
Phulou helouva na leibatna houvin nachunguva thutanna nanei khum ding’u ahi. Na chunguva hungkiheijuva kicha le tija'a nadinpet’uva nanei jouseu nalahpeh dingu ahi.
8 Because you have spoiled many nations, All the remnant of the peoples spoil you, Because of man’s blood, and of violence [to] the land, [To] the city, and [to] all dwelling in it.
Ajeh chu nanghon namtin vaipi nei jouse nachom jeng’u ahin, tua hi ason achilhah ho jouseu chun nangho nei achom dingu ahi. Nanghon thinglhang gam pumpia tolthana naboluvin chuleh khopi ho chu alamlouva gimbolna in na lodimsah tauve.
9 Woe [to] him who is gaining evil gain for his house, To set his nest on high, To be delivered from the hand of evil,
Alamlouva phatchomna naholnauva konna in lentah tah nasahu hin itobang lunggim nan nahin lhunkhum ding’u hitam! Nagou haonauvin huhbit nachoh pehthei dingin na tahsan’un, hahsatna in aphah joulouna ding muna na insung mi busatsah a nahiuve.
10 You have counseled a shameful thing to your house, To cut off many peoples, and your soul [is] sinful.
Hinlah tolthana nabol jeh a hi, namin na jachat sah a chuleh nahinkhou nachan lo-u ahitai.
11 For a stone cries out from the wall, And a beam from the wood answers it.
Banga song hohin nangho douna a kholhang ahinsap doh ding, chule inchunga inkam kilhunna inching noilama kidap hon jong noplouna ahin phondoh ding ahi.
12 Woe [to] him who is building a city by blood, And establishing a city by iniquity.
Tolthana le a lamlouva sumtong mu’a konna khopi sadoh ho itobang lunghem nan na hinphah diu hitam!
13 Behold, is it not from YHWH of Hosts And peoples are fatigued for fire, And nations for vanity are weary?
Van Sepai ho Pakai chun namtin vaipi ahaonau hi vutvai kisopeh ding ahi tia ana thutepsa hilou ham? Na tampi atohdohu jong aboncha pannabei ahi.
14 For the earth is full of the knowledge of the glory of YHWH, As the waters cover over a sea.
Tihon twikhanglen in achup bangin, leiset hi Pakai loupina hetna in alodim ding ahi.
15 Woe [to] him who is giving drink to his neighbor, Pouring out your bottle, and also making drunk, In order to look on their nakedness.
Naheng nakom kham ngolsah a nangma itobang lungkhamnan nahinphah ding hitam! Nakhon chu achunguva na ngamin, amaho chu adasa sauvin a jachatpiu sagohkeu ahinau chu deitah a navet theina dingin nabollin ahi.
16 You have been filled—shame without honor, Drink also, and be uncircumcised, Turn around to you does the cup of the right hand of YHWH, And shameful spewing [is] on your glory.
Hinla kintaha na chunga minset sahna hung lhung ding ahi. Hungin, donin chuleh muthei din kilangdohin. Pakai thutanna khon’a kon chun hung donin, chule na loupinau jouse chu jachatna hin sodoh hen.
17 For violence [done to] Lebanon covers you, And spoil of beasts frightens them, Because of man’s blood, and of violence [to] the land, [To] the city, and [to] all dwelling in it.
Nanghon Lebanon gammang ho chu na satchaijui. Tua hi nangho kisatlha ding nahiuve. Nanghon gamsa ho chu na sumang hel’ui, hijeha hi amaho kicha a na um’u ahitai. Agamsung pumpia toltha naboluvin, chule khopi ho jong chu nosopa kibolna nadip dimu ahitai.
18 What profit has a carved image given That its former has hewn it? A molten image and teacher of falsehood, That the former has trusted on his own formation—to make mute idols?
Mihem khutnin asem milim chu ipi phatchomna uma ahilouleh nalhemlhauva pang milim kilhajol chu phamonga hinam? Nakhut tahun asem thil tahsan chu ipi phatchomna ham, pathen kihoulimpi thei hilou chu!
19 Woe [to] him who is saying to wood, Awake, To a mute stone, Stir up, It [is] a teacher! Behold, it is overlaid—gold and silver, And there is no spirit in its midst.
Thinga kona kisem milimho jaha, “Khangin lang chule nei huhdoh un” tiho chunga itobang lunghemna in nanga’u hitam! Thusei theilou song milim kisem ho jah a, “Thoudoh un chuleh neihilun” natiuve. Milim khat nin ipi bol ding nahil theijum? Sana le dangka a kisem himaithei junte, hinla amahon asunguva hinna anei pouve.
20 And YHWH [is] in His holy temple, Be silent before Him, all the earth!”
Hinlah Pakai hi Ahou In Thenga aum’e. Leiset pumpi a angsunga thipchet hen”.
