< Genesis 7 >

1 And YHWH says to Noah, “Come, you and all your house, into the Ark, for I have seen you [are] righteous before Me in this generation;
Basa naa ma, LAMATUALAIN olaꞌ no Noh nae, “Au mete neu bee-bꞌee, akaꞌ ho fo rala ma ndoos. Huu naa, mo sao-ana mara, ofai rala mi leo.
2 you take seven pairs from all the clean beasts to yourself, a male and its female; and of the beasts which are not clean—two, a male and its female;
Mendi basa banda fo hei miaꞌ ra, ma basa banda fo hei tao neu tutunu-hohotuꞌ fee Auꞌ ra, pasan hitu-hitu ofai rala neu. Mendi basa mbuiꞌ ra, pasan beꞌe hituꞌ boe. Te banda feaꞌ ra naa, mendi pasan beꞌe esaꞌ a. No taꞌo naa, banda ma mbuiꞌ naa ra, dadꞌi fini, fo ara afiꞌ mopo.
3 also, seven pairs from [each] bird of the heavens, a male and a female, to keep alive seed on the face of all the earth;
4 for after seven more days I am sending rain on the earth [for] forty days and forty nights, and have wiped away all the substance that I have made from off the face of the ground.”
Musunedꞌa malolole e! Te helaꞌ a fai hitu ena, Au uꞌondaꞌ udꞌan nda hahae sa, losa rereloꞌ fai haa nulu ma tetembaꞌ fai haa nulu. Naa fo, mate basa mana masodꞌaꞌ sia madꞌaꞌ ata, fo Au uꞌudadadꞌiꞌ alaꞌ ra.”
5 And Noah does according to all that YHWH has commanded him.
Boe ma, Noh tao tungga basa LAMATUALAIN parenda Na.
6 And Noah [is] a son of six hundred years, and the flood of waters has been on the earth.
Noh too natun nee ma, oeꞌ a lala nema.
7 And Noah goes—and his sons, and his wife, and his sons’ wives with him—into the Ark, out of the presence of the waters of the flood;
Ana no sao na, ana nara, ma ana feto feu nara, ofai rala reu, fo rasodꞌa mia oe mandali monaeꞌ a.
8 from the clean beast, and from the beast that [is] not clean, and from the bird, and of everything that is creeping on the ground,

9 they have come to Noah two by two into the Ark, a male and a female, as God has commanded Noah.
10 And it comes to pass, after seven days, that waters of the flood have been on the earth.
Basa fai hitu ma, udꞌan monaeꞌ mboꞌa nema, fo nae tatana raefafoꞌ a.
11 In the six hundredth year of the life of Noah, in the second month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on this day all [the] fountains of the great deep have been broken up, and the network of the heavens has been opened,
Noh too natun nee, fula rua, fai sanahulu hitu ma, oe monaeꞌ a nema! Onaꞌ lalai a lelesu na nenesoiꞌ, de oeꞌ a mboꞌa rae neu. Ma basa oe mataꞌ sia rae rala ra fanggi, de oe a nasapupuraꞌ dea neu.
12 and the shower is on the earth [for] forty days and forty nights.
Udꞌan o nda hahae sa hatuꞌ-rerelon, losa fai haa nulu.
13 On this very same day Noah, and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, sons of Noah, and Noah’s wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, went into the Ark—
Te faiꞌ naa, Noh, no sao na, ma ana nara teluꞌ se Sem, Yafet no Ham, ma ana feto feu nara, basa se ofai rala reu.
14 they, and every living creature after its kind, and every beast after its kind, and every creeping thing that is creeping on the earth after its kind, and every bird after its kind (every bird, every wing).
Ara rala reu ro banda mata-mataꞌ. Naeni, banda neꞌeboiꞌ, banda fui, banda mana nodꞌoꞌ, mbuiꞌ ra ma banda malidꞌa feaꞌ ra.
15 And they come to Noah, into the Ark, two by two of all the flesh in which [is] a living spirit;
Noh ofai rala neu no basa masodꞌaꞌ ra pasan beꞌe esaꞌ, tungga Lamatualain parenda na. Basa se rala reu ma, LAMATUALAIN nggoe ofai a lelesu na.
16 and they that are coming in, male and female of all flesh, have come in as God has commanded him, and YHWH closes [it] for him.
17 And the flood is on the earth [for] forty days, and the waters multiply and lift up the Ark, and it is raised up from off the earth;
Boe ma, udꞌan monaeꞌ a nema nakandooꞌ a losa fai haa nulu, de oe mandali monaeꞌ a boe hene naruꞌ ata neu, losa ofai a laa. Basa ma, oeꞌ a hene nakandooꞌ a, losa tatana nala lete naruꞌ ra.
18 and the waters are mighty and multiply exceedingly on the earth; and the Ark goes on the face of the waters.
19 And the waters have been very, very mighty on the earth, and all the high mountains are covered which [are] under the whole heavens;
20 the waters prevailed from above the mountains, and cover [them] fifteen cubits;
Basa ma, oeꞌ a hene nda naloeꞌ sa, losa naru na meter hitu sia mbukuꞌ ra ata.
21 and all flesh expires that is moving on the earth, among bird, and among livestock, and among beast, and among every teeming thing which is teeming on the earth, and all mankind;
No taꞌo naa, basa mana masodꞌaꞌ sia madꞌaꞌ ata ra, mate. Atahori, banda neꞌebꞌoiꞌ, banda fui, banda mana nodꞌoꞌ, ma mbuiꞌ ra, basa se mate. Akaꞌ a Noh no basa mana sia ofai rala ra, rasodꞌa.
22 all in whose nostrils [is] breath of a living spirit—of all that [is] in the dry land—have died.
23 And all the substance that is on the face of the ground is wiped away—from man to beast, to creeping thing, and to bird of the heavens; indeed, they are wiped away from the earth, and only Noah is left, and those who [are] with him in the Ark;
24 and the waters are mighty on the earth [for] one hundred and fifty days.
Oeꞌ a nda reꞌe sa, losa fula lima.
