< Genesis 7 >
1 And YHWH says to Noah, “Come, you and all your house, into the Ark, for I have seen you [are] righteous before Me in this generation;
Mgbe ụbọchị ahụ zuru, Onyenwe anyị kpọrọ Noa sị ya, “Baa nʼime ụgbọ mmiri, gị na ezinaụlọ gị niile, nʼihi na nʼime ndị niile bi nʼọgbọ a, ọ bụ naanị gị bụ onye ezi omume m hụrụ.
2 you take seven pairs from all the clean beasts to yourself, a male and its female; and of the beasts which are not clean—two, a male and its female;
Kpọrọ ụmụ anụmanụ ndị a a gụrụ dịka ndị dị ọcha, dịka ụdị ha si dị asaa asaa, oke na nwunye. Otu a kwa, kpọrọkwa ụmụ anụmanụ ndị a gụrụ dịka ndị na-adịghị ọcha, dịka ụdị ha si dị, abụọ abụọ, oke na nwunye,
3 also, seven pairs from [each] bird of the heavens, a male and a female, to keep alive seed on the face of all the earth;
na ụmụ anụ ufe asaa asaa, dịka ụdị ha si dị, oke na nwunye, maka idebe ụdị ndị a niile ndụ nʼụwa.
4 for after seven more days I am sending rain on the earth [for] forty days and forty nights, and have wiped away all the substance that I have made from off the face of the ground.”
Nʼihi na ụbọchị asaa site taa, aga m ezidata mmiri ozuzo nʼụwa. Mmiri a ga-ezo iri ụbọchị anọ, ehihie na abalị. Aga m ekpochapụ site nʼelu ụwa ihe niile nwere ndụ nke m kere.”
5 And Noah does according to all that YHWH has commanded him.
Ya mere, Noa mere ihe niile Onyenwe anyị nyere ya nʼiwu.
6 And Noah [is] a son of six hundred years, and the flood of waters has been on the earth.
Noa gbara narị afọ isii mgbe mmiri ukwu a bidoro izo nʼelu ụwa.
7 And Noah goes—and his sons, and his wife, and his sons’ wives with him—into the Ark, out of the presence of the waters of the flood;
Noa banyere nʼụgbọ mmiri ahụ, ya na ụmụ ya ndị ikom na nwunye ya, na ndị nwunye ụmụ ya ndị ikom ịgbanarị uju mmiri ahụ.
8 from the clean beast, and from the beast that [is] not clean, and from the bird, and of everything that is creeping on the ground,
Ụmụ anụmanụ ndị dị ọcha, na ndị na-adịghị ọcha, abụọ abụọ, tinyere anụ ufe na ihe niile e kere eke na-akpụgharị nʼala, abụọ abụọ kwa,
9 they have come to Noah two by two into the Ark, a male and a female, as God has commanded Noah.
oke na nwunye, bịakwutere Noa soro ya banye nʼụgbọ mmiri ahụ, dịka Chineke nyere Noa nʼiwu.
10 And it comes to pass, after seven days, that waters of the flood have been on the earth.
Mgbe abalị asaa gafere, uju mmiri ahụ bịakwasịrị ụwa.
11 In the six hundredth year of the life of Noah, in the second month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on this day all [the] fountains of the great deep have been broken up, and the network of the heavens has been opened,
Nʼafọ narị isii nke ndụ Noa, nʼọnwa nke abụọ, nʼụbọchị nke iri na asaa, bụ ụbọchị isi iyi niile dị nʼime ime ala nupụtara nʼelu ala, mmiri niile dị na mbara eluigwe ka a hapụrụ ka ha wụdata nʼụwa.
12 and the shower is on the earth [for] forty days and forty nights.
Mmiri zogịdere na-esepụghị aka iri ụbọchị anọ, ehihie na abalị.
13 On this very same day Noah, and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, sons of Noah, and Noah’s wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, went into the Ark—
Nʼụbọchị ahụ kpomkwem, Noa banyere nʼụgbọ mmiri ahụ, ya na Shem, Ham na Jafet, bụ ụmụ Noa, na nwunye Noa, na ndị nwunye atọ nke ụmụ ya.
14 they, and every living creature after its kind, and every beast after its kind, and every creeping thing that is creeping on the earth after its kind, and every bird after its kind (every bird, every wing).
Ha onwe ha, na anụ ọhịa ọbụla, nʼụdị ya, na anụ ụlọ ọbụla, nʼụdị ya na ihe ọbụla e kere eke na-akpụgharị nʼala, nʼụdị ya, na anụ ufe ọbụla nʼụdị ya, na aha nnụnụ ọbụla na ihe ọbụla nwere nku.
15 And they come to Noah, into the Ark, two by two of all the flesh in which [is] a living spirit;
Ha bịakwutere Noa nʼime ụgbọ mmiri ahụ, abụọ abụọ site nʼihe niile ọbụla e kere eke, nke nwere ume ndụ nʼime ha.
16 and they that are coming in, male and female of all flesh, have come in as God has commanded him, and YHWH closes [it] for him.
Ma ndị banyerenụ bụ oke na nwunye, site na ihe niile nwere ndụ dịka Chineke nyere ya nʼiwu. Mgbe ahụ, Onyenwe anyị mechiri ọnụ ụzọ dị nʼụgbọ mmiri ahụ.
17 And the flood is on the earth [for] forty days, and the waters multiply and lift up the Ark, and it is raised up from off the earth;
Uju mmiri nọgidere nʼụwa iri ụbọchị anọ. Mgbe mmiri ndị a na-aba ụba, ha buliri ụgbọ mmiri ahụ elu site nʼelu ala.
18 and the waters are mighty and multiply exceedingly on the earth; and the Ark goes on the face of the waters.
Mmiri ndị a toro na-ala elu na-abawanyekwa ụba nʼelu ụwa. Ụgbọ mmiri ahụ segooro nʼelu mmiri.
19 And the waters have been very, very mighty on the earth, and all the high mountains are covered which [are] under the whole heavens;
Mmiri ndị ahụ toro laa elu kpuchie ugwu ukwu niile dị nʼokpuru mbara eluigwe.
20 the waters prevailed from above the mountains, and cover [them] fifteen cubits;
Mmiri ndị a toro kpuchiri ugwu niile, ruo na ịla elu mmiri ndị a site nʼelu ugwu ukwu niile ruru mita asaa.
21 and all flesh expires that is moving on the earth, among bird, and among livestock, and among beast, and among every teeming thing which is teeming on the earth, and all mankind;
Ihe niile nwere ndụ nke na-ejegharị nʼelu ụwa kubiri ume. Anụ ufe, na anụ ụlọ, na anụ ọhịa, na ihe niile e kere eke jupụtara nʼụwa, na ụmụ mmadụ niile.
22 all in whose nostrils [is] breath of a living spirit—of all that [is] in the dry land—have died.
Ee, ihe niile na-eku ume nke bi nʼelu ala nwụrụ.
23 And all the substance that is on the face of the ground is wiped away—from man to beast, to creeping thing, and to bird of the heavens; indeed, they are wiped away from the earth, and only Noah is left, and those who [are] with him in the Ark;
Ihe niile nwere ume ndụ nʼelu ụwa ka e kpochapụrụ. Mmadụ na anụmanụ, na anụ na-akpụgharị nʼala na nnụnụ niile. A lara ha niile nʼiyi. Ma ọ bụ naanị Noa na ndị niile so ya nọdụ nʼụgbọ mmiri ahụ ka a hapụrụ ndụ.
24 and the waters are mighty on the earth [for] one hundred and fifty days.
Narị ụbọchị na iri ụbọchị ise ka mmiri dọọrọ nʼelu ụwa dum.
