< Genesis 7 >
1 And YHWH says to Noah, “Come, you and all your house, into the Ark, for I have seen you [are] righteous before Me in this generation;
Ndipo Yehova anati kwa Nowa, “Lowa mu chombo iwe ndi banja lako lonse, chifukwa ndaona kuti ndiwe wolungama mu mʼbado uwu.
2 you take seven pairs from all the clean beasts to yourself, a male and its female; and of the beasts which are not clean—two, a male and its female;
Pa mtundu uliwonse wa nyama zoti nʼkudya utengepo zazimuna zisanu ndi ziwiri ndi zazikazi zisanu ndi ziwirinso. Koma pa mtundu wa nyama iliyonse yosati nʼkudya utengepo zazimuna ziwiri ndi zazikazi ziwirinso.
3 also, seven pairs from [each] bird of the heavens, a male and a female, to keep alive seed on the face of all the earth;
Chimodzimodzinso mbalame, utenge zisanu ndi ziwiri zazimuna ndi zisanu ndi ziwiri zazikazi za mtundu uliwonse kuti mitundu yawo isungike ndi moyo pa dziko lonse lapansi.
4 for after seven more days I am sending rain on the earth [for] forty days and forty nights, and have wiped away all the substance that I have made from off the face of the ground.”
Pakapita masiku asanu ndi awiri ndidzagwetsa mvula pa dziko lapansi kwa masiku makumi anayi usana ndi usiku ndipo ndidzawononga cha moyo chilichonse chimene ndinachipanga pa dziko lapansi.”
5 And Noah does according to all that YHWH has commanded him.
Ndipo Nowa anachita zonse zimene Yehova anamulamulira.
6 And Noah [is] a son of six hundred years, and the flood of waters has been on the earth.
Pamene chigumula chinabwera pa dziko lapansi Nowa anali ndi zaka 600.
7 And Noah goes—and his sons, and his wife, and his sons’ wives with him—into the Ark, out of the presence of the waters of the flood;
Ndipo Nowa, ana ake aamuna, mkazi wake, pamodzi ndi ana ake aakazi analowa mu chombo chija kuthawa madzi a chigumula.
8 from the clean beast, and from the beast that [is] not clean, and from the bird, and of everything that is creeping on the ground,
Nyama zoti nʼkudya ndi nyama zosadyedwa, mbalame, pamodzi ndi nyama zokwawa zonse zinadza kwa Nowa ziwiriziwiri ndi kulowa mʼchombomo.
9 they have come to Noah two by two into the Ark, a male and a female, as God has commanded Noah.
Ndipo Nowa anatenga ziwiriziwiri, yayimuna ndi yayikazi monga anamulamulira Mulungu.
10 And it comes to pass, after seven days, that waters of the flood have been on the earth.
Patapita masiku asanu ndi awiri chigumula chinabwera pa dziko lapansi.
11 In the six hundredth year of the life of Noah, in the second month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on this day all [the] fountains of the great deep have been broken up, and the network of the heavens has been opened,
Pa tsiku la 17 la mwezi wachiwiri, Nowa ali ndi zaka 600, akasupe onse akuya kwambiri anasefuka ndiponso zitseko za madzi akumwamba zinatsekuka.
12 and the shower is on the earth [for] forty days and forty nights.
Ndipo mvula inagwa pa dziko lapansi masiku makumi anayi usana ndi usiku.
13 On this very same day Noah, and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, sons of Noah, and Noah’s wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, went into the Ark—
Linali tsiku lomwelo pamene Nowa ndi ana ake aamuna, Semu, Hamu ndi Yafeti, pamodzi ndi mkazi wake ndi akazi a ana ake atatu aja analowa mu chombo.
14 they, and every living creature after its kind, and every beast after its kind, and every creeping thing that is creeping on the earth after its kind, and every bird after its kind (every bird, every wing).
Iwowa analowa mʼchombomo pamodzi ndi nyama iliyonse ya kutchire monga mwa mtundu wake, ziweto zonse monga mwa mitundu yawo, nyama yokwawa iliyonse monga mwa mtundu wake ndi mbalame iliyonse monga mwa mtundu wake.
15 And they come to Noah, into the Ark, two by two of all the flesh in which [is] a living spirit;
Nowa analowa mu chombo muja pamodzi ndi zamoyo zonse.
16 and they that are coming in, male and female of all flesh, have come in as God has commanded him, and YHWH closes [it] for him.
Iye analowa nazo zazimuna ndi zazikazi monga mmene Mulungu anamulamulira. Kenaka Yehova anatseka pa khomo.
17 And the flood is on the earth [for] forty days, and the waters multiply and lift up the Ark, and it is raised up from off the earth;
Chigumula chinagwa pa dziko la pansi kwa masiku makumi anayi. Madzi anayamba kuchuluka ndipo ananyamula chombo chija ndi kuchiyandamitsa pamwamba pa dziko.
18 and the waters are mighty and multiply exceedingly on the earth; and the Ark goes on the face of the waters.
Madzi anafika mwamphamvu ndipo anachulukirachulukira pa dziko lapansi moti chombo chinayandama pamwamba pa madziwo.
19 And the waters have been very, very mighty on the earth, and all the high mountains are covered which [are] under the whole heavens;
Madzi a chigumula anabwerabe molimbika motero kuti mapiri ataliatali onse a pa dziko anamizidwa.
20 the waters prevailed from above the mountains, and cover [them] fifteen cubits;
Madzi anakwera namiza mapiri kwa mamita pafupifupi asanu ndi awiri.
21 and all flesh expires that is moving on the earth, among bird, and among livestock, and among beast, and among every teeming thing which is teeming on the earth, and all mankind;
Chamoyo chilichonse choyenda pa dziko lapansi chinafa: mbalame, ziweto, nyama zakuthengo, miyandamiyanda ya zonse zolengedwa za pa dziko lapansi pamodzi ndi anthu.
22 all in whose nostrils [is] breath of a living spirit—of all that [is] in the dry land—have died.
Chilichonse chamoyo, chokhala pa mtunda chinafa.
23 And all the substance that is on the face of the ground is wiped away—from man to beast, to creeping thing, and to bird of the heavens; indeed, they are wiped away from the earth, and only Noah is left, and those who [are] with him in the Ark;
Chamoyo chilichonse pa dziko lapansi chinawonongedwa, kuyambira munthu, nyama, zokwawa ndi mbalame. Nowa yekha ndiye anatsala pamodzi ndi onse amene anali naye.
24 and the waters are mighty on the earth [for] one hundred and fifty days.
Madziwo anadzaza dziko lonse lapansi kwa masiku 150.
