Genesis 5
1 This [is] an account of the generations of Adam. In the day of God’s creating man, in the likeness of God He has made him;

2 a male and a female He has created them, and He blesses them, and calls their name Man, in the day of their being created.

3 And Adam lives one hundred and thirty years [[or two hundred and thirty years]], and begets [a son] in his likeness, according to his image, and calls his name Seth.
Adão viveu cento e trinta anos, e se tornou pai de um filho à sua imagem, e lhe deu o nome de Seth.
4 And the days of Adam after his begetting Seth are eight hundred years [[or seven hundred years]], and he begets sons and daughters.
Os dias de Adão depois de se tornar pai de Seth foram oitocentos anos, e ele se tornou pai de outros filhos e filhas.
5 And all the days of Adam which he lived are nine hundred and thirty years, and he dies.
Todos os dias que Adão viveu foram novecentos e trinta anos, depois ele morreu.
6 And Seth lives one hundred and five years [[or two hundred and five years]], and begets Enos.
Seth viveu cento e cinco anos, depois se tornou o pai da Enosh.
7 And Seth lives after his begetting Enos eight hundred and seven years [[or seven hundred and seven years]], and begets sons and daughters.
Seth viveu depois de se tornar o pai de Enosh oitocentos e sete anos, e se tornou pai de outros filhos e filhas.
8 And all the days of Seth are nine hundred and twelve years, and he dies.
Todos os dias de Seth foram novecentos e doze anos, depois ele morreu.
9 And Enos lives ninety years [[or one hundred and ninety years]], and begets Cainan.
Enosh viveu noventa anos, e tornou-se o pai de Kenan.
10 And Enos lives after his begetting Cainan eight hundred and fifteen years [[or seven hundred and fifteen years]], and begets sons and daughters.

11 And all the days of Enos are nine hundred and five years, and he dies.

12 And Cainan lives seventy years [[or one hundred and seventy years]], and begets Mahalaleel.
Kenan viveu setenta anos, depois se tornou o pai de Mahalalel.
13 And Cainan lives after his begetting Mahalaleel eight hundred and forty years [[or seven hundred and forty years]], and begets sons and daughters.

14 And all the days of Cainan are nine hundred and ten years, and he dies.

15 And Mahalaleel lives sixty-five years [[or one hundred and sixty-five years]], and begets Jared.
Mahalalel viveu sessenta e cinco anos, depois se tornou o pai de Jared.
16 And Mahalaleel lives after his begetting Jared eight hundred and thirty years [[or seven hundred and thirty years]], and begets sons and daughters.

17 And all the days of Mahalaleel are eight hundred and ninety-five years, and he dies.

18 And Jared lives one hundred and sixty-two years, and begets Enoch.
Jared viveu cento e sessenta e dois anos, depois se tornou o pai de Enoque.
19 And Jared lives after his begetting Enoch eight hundred years, and begets sons and daughters.

20 And all the days of Jared are nine hundred and sixty-two years, and he dies.

21 And Enoch lives sixty-five years [[or one hundred and sixty-five years]], and begets Methuselah.
Enoque viveu sessenta e cinco anos, depois se tornou o pai de Matusalém.
22 And Enoch habitually walks with God after his begetting Methuselah three hundred years [[or two hundred years]], and begets sons and daughters.
Após o nascimento de Matusalém, Enoque caminhou com Deus por trezentos anos, e se tornou o pai de mais filhos e filhas.
23 And all the days of Enoch are three hundred and sixty-five years.
Todos os dias de Enoque foram trezentos e sessenta e cinco anos.
24 And Enoch habitually walks with God, and he is not, for God has taken him.
Enoque caminhou com Deus, e ele não foi encontrado, pois Deus o levou.
25 And Methuselah lives one hundred and eighty-seven years, and begets Lamech.
Matusalém viveu cento e oitenta e sete anos, depois se tornou o pai de Lamech.
26 And Methuselah lives after his begetting Lamech seven hundred and eighty-two years, and begets sons and daughters.
Matusalém viveu depois de se tornar o pai de Lamech setecentos e oitenta e dois anos, e tornou-se o pai de outros filhos e filhas.
27 And all the days of Methuselah are nine hundred and sixty-nine years, and he dies.
Todos os dias de Matusalém foram novecentos e sessenta e nove anos, depois ele morreu.
28 And Lamech lives one hundred and eighty-two years [[or one hundred and eighty-eight years]], and begets a son,
Lamech viveu cento e oitenta e dois anos, depois se tornou o pai de um filho.
29 and calls his name Noah, saying, “This [one] comforts us concerning our work, and concerning the labor of our hands, because of the ground which YHWH has cursed.”
Ele o chamou de Noé, dizendo: “Este nos confortará em nosso trabalho e na labuta de nossas mãos, causada pelo solo que Javé amaldiçoou”.
30 And Lamech lives after his begetting Noah five hundred and ninety-five years [[or five hundred and sixty-five years]], and begets sons and daughters.
Lamech viveu depois de se tornar pai de Noé quinhentos e noventa e cinco anos, e se tornou pai de outros filhos e filhas.
31 And all the days of Lamech are seven hundred and seventy-seven years [[or seven hundred and fifty-three years]], and he dies.
Todos os dias de Lamech foram setecentos e setenta e sete anos, depois ele morreu.
32 And Noah is a son of five hundred years, and Noah begets Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
Noé tinha quinhentos anos, então Noé tornou-se o pai de Shem, Ham, e Japheth.
