Genesis 5
1 This [is] an account of the generations of Adam. In the day of God’s creating man, in the likeness of God He has made him;
൧ആദാമിന്റെ വംശപാരമ്പര്യമാണിത്: ദൈവം മനുഷ്യനെ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചപ്പോൾ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സാദൃശ്യത്തിൽ അവനെ ഉണ്ടാക്കി; ആണും പെണ്ണുമായി അവരെ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചു;
2 a male and a female He has created them, and He blesses them, and calls their name Man, in the day of their being created.
൨സൃഷ്ടിച്ച നാളിൽ അവരെ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കുകയും അവർക്ക് ആദാമെന്നു പേരിടുകയും ചെയ്തു.
3 And Adam lives one hundred and thirty years [[or two hundred and thirty years]], and begets [a son] in his likeness, according to his image, and calls his name Seth.
൩ആദാമിന് നൂറ്റിമുപ്പത് വയസ്സായപ്പോൾ അവൻ തന്റെ സാദൃശ്യത്തിലും ഛായയിലും ഒരു മകന് ജന്മം നൽകി; അവന് ശേത്ത് എന്നു പേരിട്ടു.
4 And the days of Adam after his begetting Seth are eight hundred years [[or seven hundred years]], and he begets sons and daughters.
൪ശേത്തിനു ജന്മം നൽകിയശേഷം ആദാം എണ്ണൂറു വർഷം ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നു; അവന് പുത്രന്മാരും പുത്രിമാരും ഉണ്ടായി.
5 And all the days of Adam which he lived are nine hundred and thirty years, and he dies.
൫ആദാമിന്റെ ആയുഷ്കാലം ആകെ 930 വർഷമായിരുന്നു; പിന്നെ അവൻ മരിച്ചു.
6 And Seth lives one hundred and five years [[or two hundred and five years]], and begets Enos.
൬ശേത്തിന് 105 വയസ്സായപ്പോൾ അവൻ ഏനോശിനെ ജന്മം നൽകി.
7 And Seth lives after his begetting Enos eight hundred and seven years [[or seven hundred and seven years]], and begets sons and daughters.
൭ഏനോശിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ച ശേഷം ശേത്ത് 807 വർഷം ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നു പുത്രന്മാർക്കും പുത്രിമാർക്കും ജന്മം നൽകി.
8 And all the days of Seth are nine hundred and twelve years, and he dies.
൮ശേത്തിന്റെ ആയുഷ്കാലം ആകെ 912 വർഷമായിരുന്നു; പിന്നെ അവൻ മരിച്ചു.
9 And Enos lives ninety years [[or one hundred and ninety years]], and begets Cainan.
൯ഏനോശിന് 90 വയസ്സായപ്പോൾ അവൻ കേനാനു ജന്മം നൽകി.
10 And Enos lives after his begetting Cainan eight hundred and fifteen years [[or seven hundred and fifteen years]], and begets sons and daughters.
൧൦കേനാനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ച ശേഷം എനോശ് 815 വർഷം ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നു പുത്രന്മാർക്കും പുത്രിമാർക്കും ജന്മം നൽകി ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.
11 And all the days of Enos are nine hundred and five years, and he dies.
൧൧ഏനോശിന്റെ ആയുഷ്കാലം ആകെ 905 വർഷമായിരുന്നു; പിന്നെ അവൻ മരിച്ചു.
12 And Cainan lives seventy years [[or one hundred and seventy years]], and begets Mahalaleel.
൧൨കേനാന് 70 വയസ്സായപ്പോൾ അവൻ മഹലലേലിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.
13 And Cainan lives after his begetting Mahalaleel eight hundred and forty years [[or seven hundred and forty years]], and begets sons and daughters.
൧൩മഹലലേലിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ച ശേഷം കേനാൻ 840 വർഷം ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നു പുത്രന്മാർക്കും പുത്രിമാർക്കും ജന്മം നൽകി.
14 And all the days of Cainan are nine hundred and ten years, and he dies.
൧൪കേനാന്റെ ആയുഷ്കാലം ആകെ 910 വർഷമായിരുന്നു; പിന്നെ അവൻ മരിച്ചു.
15 And Mahalaleel lives sixty-five years [[or one hundred and sixty-five years]], and begets Jared.
൧൫മഹലലേലിന് 65 വയസ്സായപ്പോൾ അവൻ യാരെദിനു ജന്മം നൽകി.
16 And Mahalaleel lives after his begetting Jared eight hundred and thirty years [[or seven hundred and thirty years]], and begets sons and daughters.
൧൬യാരെദിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ച ശേഷം മഹലലേൽ 830 വർഷം ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നു പുത്രന്മാർക്കും പുത്രിമാർക്കും ജന്മം നൽകി.
17 And all the days of Mahalaleel are eight hundred and ninety-five years, and he dies.
൧൭മഹലലേലിന്റെ ആയുഷ്കാലം ആകെ 895 വർഷമായിരുന്നു; പിന്നെ അവൻ മരിച്ചു.
18 And Jared lives one hundred and sixty-two years, and begets Enoch.
൧൮യാരെദിന് 162 വയസ്സായപ്പോൾ അവൻ ഹാനോക്കിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.
19 And Jared lives after his begetting Enoch eight hundred years, and begets sons and daughters.
൧൯ഹാനോക്കിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ച ശേഷം യാരെദ് 800 വർഷം ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നു പുത്രന്മാരെയും പുത്രിമാരെയും ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.
20 And all the days of Jared are nine hundred and sixty-two years, and he dies.
൨൦യാരെദിന്റെ ആയുഷ്കാലം ആകെ 962 വർഷമായിരുന്നു; പിന്നെ അവൻ മരിച്ചു.
21 And Enoch lives sixty-five years [[or one hundred and sixty-five years]], and begets Methuselah.
൨൧ഹാനോക്കിന് 65 വയസ്സായപ്പോൾ അവൻ മെഥൂശലഹിനെ ജന്മം നൽകി.
22 And Enoch habitually walks with God after his begetting Methuselah three hundred years [[or two hundred years]], and begets sons and daughters.
൨൨മെഥൂശലഹിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ച ശേഷം ഹാനോക്ക് 300 വർഷം ദൈവത്തോടുകൂടെ നടക്കുകയും പുത്രന്മാരെയും പുത്രിമാരെയും ജനിപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.
23 And all the days of Enoch are three hundred and sixty-five years.
൨൩ഹാനോക്കിന്റെ ആയുഷ്കാലം ആകെ 365 വർഷമായിരുന്നു.
24 And Enoch habitually walks with God, and he is not, for God has taken him.
൨൪ഹാനോക്ക് ദൈവത്തോടുകൂടെ നടന്നു, ദൈവം അവനെ എടുത്തുകൊണ്ടതിനാൽ കാണാതെയായി.
25 And Methuselah lives one hundred and eighty-seven years, and begets Lamech.
൨൫മെഥൂശലഹിന് 187 വയസ്സായപ്പോൾ അവൻ ലാമെക്കിനു ജന്മം നൽകി
26 And Methuselah lives after his begetting Lamech seven hundred and eighty-two years, and begets sons and daughters.
൨൬ലാമെക്കിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ച ശേഷം മെഥൂശലഹ് 782 വർഷം ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നു പുത്രന്മാർക്കും പുത്രിമാർക്കും ജന്മം നൽകി.
27 And all the days of Methuselah are nine hundred and sixty-nine years, and he dies.
൨൭മെഥൂശലഹിന്റെ ആയുഷ്കാലം ആകെ 969 വർഷമായിരുന്നു; പിന്നെ അവൻ മരിച്ചു.
28 And Lamech lives one hundred and eighty-two years [[or one hundred and eighty-eight years]], and begets a son,
൨൮ലാമെക്കിന് 182 വയസ്സായപ്പോൾ അവൻ ഒരു മകനു ജന്മം നൽകി.
29 and calls his name Noah, saying, “This [one] comforts us concerning our work, and concerning the labor of our hands, because of the ground which YHWH has cursed.”
൨൯“യഹോവ ശപിച്ച ഭൂമിയിൽ നമ്മുടെ പ്രവൃത്തിയിലും നമ്മുടെ കൈകളുടെ അദ്ധ്വാനത്തിലും ഇവൻ നമ്മെ ആശ്വസിപ്പിക്കും” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞ് അവന് നോഹ എന്നു പേർ ഇട്ടു.
30 And Lamech lives after his begetting Noah five hundred and ninety-five years [[or five hundred and sixty-five years]], and begets sons and daughters.
൩൦നോഹയെ ജനിപ്പിച്ച ശേഷം ലാമെക്ക് 595 വർഷം ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നു പുത്രന്മാരെയും പുത്രിമാരെയും ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.
31 And all the days of Lamech are seven hundred and seventy-seven years [[or seven hundred and fifty-three years]], and he dies.
൩൧ലാമെക്കിന്റെ ആയുഷ്കാലം ആകെ 777 വർഷമായിരുന്നു; പിന്നെ അവൻ മരിച്ചു.
32 And Noah is a son of five hundred years, and Noah begets Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
൩൨നോഹയ്ക്ക് 500 വയസ്സായശേഷം നോഹ ശേമിനെയും ഹാമിനെയും യാഫെത്തിനെയും ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.
