Genesis 5
1 This [is] an account of the generations of Adam. In the day of God’s creating man, in the likeness of God He has made him;

2 a male and a female He has created them, and He blesses them, and calls their name Man, in the day of their being created.

3 And Adam lives one hundred and thirty years [[or two hundred and thirty years]], and begets [a son] in his likeness, according to his image, and calls his name Seth.
Élt vala pedig Ádám száz harmincz esztendőt, és nemze fiat az ő képére és hasonlatosságára és nevezé annak nevét Séthnek.
4 And the days of Adam after his begetting Seth are eight hundred years [[or seven hundred years]], and he begets sons and daughters.
És telének Ádám napjai, minekutánna Séthet nemzette, nyolczszáz esztendőre, és nemze fiakat és leányokat.
5 And all the days of Adam which he lived are nine hundred and thirty years, and he dies.
És lőn Ádám egész életének ideje kilenczszáz harmincz esztendő; és meghala.
6 And Seth lives one hundred and five years [[or two hundred and five years]], and begets Enos.
Éle pedig Séth száz öt esztendőt, és nemzé Énóst.
7 And Seth lives after his begetting Enos eight hundred and seven years [[or seven hundred and seven years]], and begets sons and daughters.
És éle Séth, minekutánna Énóst nemzette, nyolczszáz hét esztendeig; és nemze fiakat és leányokat.
8 And all the days of Seth are nine hundred and twelve years, and he dies.
És lőn Séth egész életének ideje kilenczszáz tizenkét esztendő; és meghala.
9 And Enos lives ninety years [[or one hundred and ninety years]], and begets Cainan.
Éle pedig Énós kilenczven esztendőt, és nemzé Kénánt.
10 And Enos lives after his begetting Cainan eight hundred and fifteen years [[or seven hundred and fifteen years]], and begets sons and daughters.
És éle Énós, minekutánna Kénánt nemzette, nyolczszáz tizenöt esztendeig, és nemze fiakat és leányokat.
11 And all the days of Enos are nine hundred and five years, and he dies.
És lőn Énós egész életének ideje kilenczszáz öt esztendő; és meghala.
12 And Cainan lives seventy years [[or one hundred and seventy years]], and begets Mahalaleel.
Éle pedig Kénán hetven esztendőt, és nemzé Mahalálélt.
13 And Cainan lives after his begetting Mahalaleel eight hundred and forty years [[or seven hundred and forty years]], and begets sons and daughters.
És éle Kénán, minekutánna Mahalálélt nemzette, nyolczszáz negyven esztendeig; és nemze fiakat és leányokat.
14 And all the days of Cainan are nine hundred and ten years, and he dies.
És lőn Kénán egész életének ideje kilenczszáz tíz esztendő; és meghala.
15 And Mahalaleel lives sixty-five years [[or one hundred and sixty-five years]], and begets Jared.
Éle pedig Mahalálél hatvanöt esztendőt, és nemzé Járedet.
16 And Mahalaleel lives after his begetting Jared eight hundred and thirty years [[or seven hundred and thirty years]], and begets sons and daughters.
És éle Mahalálél, minekutánna Járedet nemzette, nyolczszáz harmincz esztendeig, és nemze fiakat és leányokat.
17 And all the days of Mahalaleel are eight hundred and ninety-five years, and he dies.
És lőn Mahalálél egész életének ideje nyolczszáz kilenczvenöt esztendő; és meghala.
18 And Jared lives one hundred and sixty-two years, and begets Enoch.
Éle pedig Járed száz hatvankét esztendőt, és nemzé Énókhot.
19 And Jared lives after his begetting Enoch eight hundred years, and begets sons and daughters.
És éle Járed, minekutánna Énókhot nemzette, nyolczszáz esztendőt; és nemze fiakat és leányokat.
20 And all the days of Jared are nine hundred and sixty-two years, and he dies.
És lőn Járed egész életének ideje kilenczszáz hatvankét esztendő; és meghala.
21 And Enoch lives sixty-five years [[or one hundred and sixty-five years]], and begets Methuselah.
Éle pedig Énókh hatvanöt esztendőt, és nemzé Methuséláht.
22 And Enoch habitually walks with God after his begetting Methuselah three hundred years [[or two hundred years]], and begets sons and daughters.
És járt Énókh az Istennel, minekutánna Methuséláht nemzette, háromszáz esztendeig; és nemze fiakat és leányokat.
23 And all the days of Enoch are three hundred and sixty-five years.
És lőn Énókh egész életének ideje háromszáz hatvanöt esztendő.
24 And Enoch habitually walks with God, and he is not, for God has taken him.
És mivel Énókh Istennel járt vala; eltűnék, mert Isten magához vevé.
25 And Methuselah lives one hundred and eighty-seven years, and begets Lamech.
Éle pedig Methusélah száz nyolczvanhét esztendőt és nemzé Lámekhet.
26 And Methuselah lives after his begetting Lamech seven hundred and eighty-two years, and begets sons and daughters.
És éle Methusélah, minekutánna Lámekhet nemzette, hétszáz nyolczvankét esztendőt; és nemze fiakat és leányokat.
27 And all the days of Methuselah are nine hundred and sixty-nine years, and he dies.
És lőn Methusélah egész életének ideje kilenczszáz hatvankilencz esztendő; és meghala.
28 And Lamech lives one hundred and eighty-two years [[or one hundred and eighty-eight years]], and begets a son,
Éle pedig Lámekh száz nyolczvankét esztendőt, és nemze fiat.
29 and calls his name Noah, saying, “This [one] comforts us concerning our work, and concerning the labor of our hands, because of the ground which YHWH has cursed.”
És nevezé azt Noénak, mondván: Ez vígasztal meg minket munkálkodásunkban s kezünk terhes fáradozásában e földön, melyet megátkozott az Úr.
30 And Lamech lives after his begetting Noah five hundred and ninety-five years [[or five hundred and sixty-five years]], and begets sons and daughters.
És éle Lámekh, minekutánna Noét nemzette, ötszáz kilenczvenöt esztendőt; és nemze fiakat és leányokat.
31 And all the days of Lamech are seven hundred and seventy-seven years [[or seven hundred and fifty-three years]], and he dies.
És lőn Lámekh egész életének ideje hétszázhetvenhét esztendő; és meghala.
32 And Noah is a son of five hundred years, and Noah begets Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
És mikor Noé ötszáz esztendős volt, nemzé Noé Sémet, Khámot és Jáfetet.
