Genesis 49
1 And Jacob calls to his sons and says, “Be gathered together, and I declare to you that which happens with you in the latter end of the days.
ಆಗ ಯಾಕೋಬನು ತನ್ನ ಪುತ್ರರನ್ನು ಕರೆಯಿಸಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ನೀವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಕೂಡಿಬನ್ನಿರಿ. ಅಂತ್ಯ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮಗೆ ಸಂಭವಿಸುವುದನ್ನು ನಿಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.
2 Be assembled, and hear, sons of Jacob, And listen to your father Israel.
“ಯಾಕೋಬನ ಪುತ್ರರೇ, ನೀವು ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಕೂಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಕೇಳಿರಿ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ ಮಾತಿಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡಿರಿ.
3 Reuben! You [are] my firstborn, My power, and beginning of my strength, The abundance of exaltation, And the abundance of strength;
“ರೂಬೇನನೇ, ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಜೇಷ್ಠಪುತ್ರನು. ನನ್ನ ಶಕ್ತಿ, ನನ್ನ ಬಲದ ಸಂಕೇತವೂ, ಗೌರವದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಕ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಿತಿಮೀರಿದವನೂ ಆಗಿರುವೆ.
4 Unstable as water, you are not abundant; For you have gone up your father’s bed; Then you have defiled [it]: He went up my couch!
ನೀರಿನಂತೆ ಚಂಚಲನಾಗಿದ್ದು, ನೀನು ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠನಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಮಂಚವನ್ನೇರಿ ಹೊಲೆಮಾಡಿದೆ, ನನ್ನ ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಏರಿದೆ.
5 Simeon and Levi [are] brothers! Instruments of violence—their espousals!
“ಸಿಮೆಯೋನನೂ ಲೇವಿಯೂ ಸಹೋದರರು ಹಿಂಸಾಚಾರದ ಆಯುಧಗಳು.
6 Into their secret, do not come, O my soul! Do not be united to their assembly, O my glory; For in their anger they slew a man, And in their self-will eradicated a prince.
ನನ್ನ ಮನವೇ, ಅವರ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗೆ ಒಳಪಡಬೇಡ. ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವೇ, ಅವರ ಕೂಟಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಬೇಡ. ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಕೋಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ಕೊಂದರು, ಮದದಿಂದ ಎತ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಊನಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
7 Cursed [is] their anger, for [it is] fierce, And their wrath, for [it is] sharp; I divide them in Jacob, And I scatter them in Israel.
ಅವರ ಕೋಪವು ಭಯಂಕರವಾಗಿಯೂ ಅವರ ರೌದ್ರವು ಕ್ರೂರವಾಗಿಯೂ ಇದ್ದು, ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಶಾಪಗ್ರಸ್ತವಾಗಲಿ. ಯಾಕೋಬನ ಕುಟುಂಬದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ವಿಭಾಗಿಸಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಚದರಿಸಿಬಿಡುವೆನು.
8 Judah! Your brothers praise you! Your hand [is] on the neck of your enemies, Sons of your father bow themselves to you.
“ಯೆಹೂದನೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರರು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೊಗಳುವರು. ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈ ನಿನ್ನ ಶತ್ರುಗಳ ಕುತ್ತಿಗೆಯ ಮೇಲಿರುವುದು. ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ನಿನಗೆ ಅಡ್ಡಬೀಳುವರು.
9 A lion’s whelp [is] Judah, For prey, my son, you have gone up; He has bent, he has crouched as a lion, And as a lioness; who causes him to arise?
ಯೆಹೂದನು ಸಿಂಹದ ಮರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ನನ್ನ ಮಗನೇ, ಬೇಟೆಹಿಡಿದು ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದೆ. ಅವನು ಸಿಂಹದಂತೆಯೂ ಪ್ರಾಯದ ಸಿಂಹದ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಮುದುರಿಕೊಂಡು ಮಲಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಅವನನ್ನು ಕೆಣಕುವವರು ಯಾರು?
10 The scepter does not turn aside from Judah, And a lawgiver from between his feet, Until his Seed comes; And His [is] the obedience of peoples.
ರಾಜದಂಡವನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಯತಕ್ಕವನು ಶೀಲೋವಿನಿಂದ ಬರುವ ತನಕ, ಯೆಹೂದನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ರಾಜದಂಡವಾಗಲೀ, ಆಡಳಿತಗಾರನ ಅಧಿಕಾರವಾಗಲೀ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳು ಅವನಿಗೆ ವಿಧೇಯವಾಗುವುವು.
11 Binding to the vine his donkey, And to the choice vine the colt of his donkey, He has washed in wine his clothing, And in the blood of grapes his covering;
ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ವಾಹನ ಪಶುವನ್ನು ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾಲತೆಗೆ ಕಟ್ಟುವನು. ರಾಜದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೆಗೆ ತನ್ನ ಕತ್ತೆಯನ್ನು ಬಿಗಿಯುವನು. ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸದಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಬಟ್ಟೆ ಒಗೆಯುವನು, ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ತನ್ನ ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಅದ್ದಿ ತೊಳೆಯುವನು.
12 Red [are] eyes with wine, And white [are] teeth with milk!
ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸದಿಂದ ಅವನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ಕೆಂಪಾಗಿರುವವು, ಹಾಲಿನಿಂದ ಅವನ ಹಲ್ಲುಗಳು ಬಿಳುಪಾಗಿರುವವು.
13 Zebulun dwells at a haven of the seas, And he [is] for a haven of ships; And his side [is] to Sidon.
“ಜೆಬುಲೂನನು ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಕರಾವಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುವನು, ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹಡಗುಗಳು ಸೇರುವ ರೇವೂ ಇರುವುದು. ಅವನ ಮೇರೆಯು ಸೀದೋನಿಗೆ ಮುಟ್ಟುವುದು.
14 Issachar [is] a strong donkey, Crouching between the two folds;
“ಇಸ್ಸಾಕಾರನು ಕುರಿಯ ಹಟ್ಟಿಗಳ ನಡುವೆ ಮಲಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಬಲವುಳ್ಳ ಕತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
15 And he sees rest, that [it is] good, And the land, that [it is] pleasant, And he inclines his shoulder to bear, And is a servant for tribute.
ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿಯು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದೆಂದೂ ದೇಶವು ರಮ್ಯವೆಂದೂ ನೋಡಿ ಹೊರೆ ಹೊರುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ತನ್ನ ಹೆಗಲನ್ನು ಬಗ್ಗಿಸಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟಿಯ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುವನು.
16 Dan judges his people, As one of the tribes of Israel;
“ದಾನನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ ಗೋತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಗೋತ್ರವಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಜನರಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸುವನು.
17 Dan is a serpent by the way, a viper by the path, Which is biting the horse’s heels, And its rider falls backward.
ದಾನನು ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸರ್ಪವೂ ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಹಾವೂ ಆಗಿರುವನು. ಕುದುರೆಯ ಹಿಮ್ಮಡಿಯನ್ನು ಕಚ್ಚಿದರೆ, ಹತ್ತಿದವನು ಬೋರಲು ಬೀಳುವನು.
18 For Your salvation I have waited, YHWH!
“ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ವಿಮೋಚನೆಗಾಗಿ ಕಾಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
19 Gad! A troop assaults him, But he assaults last.
“ಗಾದನ ಮೇಲೆ ಸೈನ್ಯವು ದಾಳಿಮಾಡುವುದು, ಕೊನೆಗೆ ಅವನೇ ಅವರನ್ನು ಓಡಿಸಿಬಿಡುವನು.
20 Out of Asher his bread [is] fat; And he gives delicacies of a king.
“ಆಶೇರನ ಆಹಾರವು ಕೊಬ್ಬಿದ ಆಹಾರವು. ಅವನು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ಸವಿಯೂಟವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವನು.
21 Naphtali [is] a doe sent away, Who is giving beautiful young ones.
“ನಫ್ತಾಲಿ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಹೊಂದಿದ ಜಿಂಕೆ, ಅವನು ಮಾತುಗಳು ಸುಂದರ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಮಾತುಗಳಂತೆ.
22 Joseph [is] a fruitful son; A fruitful son by a fountain, Daughters step over the wall;
“ಯೋಸೇಫನು ಫಲಭರಿತವಾದ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಬಳ್ಳಿ ಕಾಲುವೆಗಳ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಫಲಭರಿತ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಬಳ್ಳಿ, ಅದರ ಕೊಂಬೆಗಳು ಗೋಡೆಗಳನ್ನೇರುತ್ತವೆ.
23 And embitter him indeed, they have striven, Indeed, archers hate him;
ಸಿಟ್ಟಿನಿಂದ ಬಿಲ್ಲುಗಾರರು ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀಳುವರು. ವಿರೋಧದಿಂದ ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ಎಸೆಯುವರು.
24 And his bow abides in strength, And strengthened are the arms of his hands By the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, From where is a shepherd, a son of Israel.
ಆದರೆ ಅವನ ಬಿಲ್ಲು ಸ್ಥಿರವಾಗಿ ನಿಲ್ಲುವುದು. ಅವನ ಬಲವಾದ ತೋಳುಗಳು ಚುರುಕಾಗಿ ನಿಂತವು. ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣ ಯಾಕೋಬನಿಗೆ ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತರಾಗಿರುವ ದೇವರ ಹಸ್ತವೇ; ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ ಬಂಡೆಯಾಗಿರುವ ಕುರುಬ.
25 By the God of your father who helps you, And the Mighty One who blesses you, Blessings of the heavens from above, Blessings of the deep lying under, Blessings of breasts and womb—
ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣ ನಿನಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡುವ ನಿನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ದೇವರು; ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತರಾದ ದೇವರು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಲಿ. ಆ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದಗಳು ಪರಲೋಕದವುಗಳು. ಆ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದಗಳು ಕೆಳಗಿನಾಳದಲ್ಲಿರುವವುಗಳು. ಅವು ಎದೆಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಗರ್ಭದ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದಗಳು.
26 Your father’s blessings have been mighty Above the blessings of my progenitors, To the limit of the perpetual heights They are for the head of Joseph, And for the crown of the one Separate [from] his brothers.
ಪುರಾತನ ಪರ್ವತಗಳ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದಗಳು ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠವಾದವುಗಳು. ಅವು ಪುರಾತನ ಶಿಖರಗಳ ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನವುಗಳು. ಇವೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಯೋಸೇಫನ ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಂದರೆ, ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರರಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜಕುಮಾರನಾದವನ ಹಣೆಯ ಮೇಲಿರಲಿ.
27 Benjamin! A wolf tears; In the morning he eats prey, And at evening he apportions spoil.”
“ಬೆನ್ಯಾಮೀನನು ಕ್ರೂರವಾದ ತೋಳದಂತಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ತಿನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ, ಸಂಜೆ ಕೊಳ್ಳೆಯನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.”
28 All these [are] the twelve tribes of Israel, and this [is] that which their father has spoken to them, and he blesses them; each according to his blessing he has blessed them.
ಇವರೆಲ್ಲಾ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಗೋತ್ರಗಳು. ಅವರ ತಂದೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೂ ಇದೇ. ಅವನು ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬನನ್ನೂ ಅವನಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿದನು.
29 And he commands them and says to them, “I am being gathered to my people; bury me by my fathers, at the cave which [is] in the field of Ephron the Hittite;
ಅವನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ, “ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಜನರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇನೆ. ನನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ಹಿತ್ತಿಯನಾದ ಎಫ್ರೋನನ ಹೊಲದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಗವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ
30 in the cave which [is] in the field of Machpelah, which [is] on the front of Mamre, in the land of Canaan, which Abraham bought with the field from Ephron the Hittite for a possession of a burying-place;
ಕಾನಾನ್ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಮ್ರೆಗೆ ಎದುರಾಗಿ ಮಕ್ಪೇಲ ಹೊಲದಲ್ಲಿರುವಂಥ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು, ಹೊಲದ ಸಂಗಡ ಸ್ವಂತ ಸಮಾಧಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಹಿತ್ತಿಯನಾದ ಎಫ್ರೋನನಿಂದ ಕೊಂಡುಕೊಂಡಂಥ ಗವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೂಳಿರಿ.
31 (there they buried Abraham and his wife Sarah; there they buried Isaac and his wife Rebekah; and there I buried Leah);
ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನನ್ನೂ, ಅವನ ಹೆಂಡತಿ ಸಾರಳನ್ನೂ ಹೂಳಿದರು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಇಸಾಕನನ್ನೂ, ಅವನ ಹೆಂಡತಿ ರೆಬೆಕ್ಕಳನ್ನೂ ಹೂಳಿಟ್ಟರು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಲೇಯಳನ್ನೂ ಹೂಳಿದೆನು.
32 the purchase of the field and of the cave which [is] in it, [is] from sons of Heth.”
ಆ ಹೊಲವೂ, ಅದರಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಗವಿಯೂ ಹಿತ್ತಿಯರಿಂದ ಕೊಂಡುಕೊಂಡದ್ದು,” ಎಂದನು.
33 And Jacob finishes commanding his sons, and gathers up his feet to the bed, and expires, and is gathered to his people.
ಯಾಕೋಬನು ತನ್ನ ಪುತ್ರರಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ತರುವಾಯ, ತನ್ನ ಕಾಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಮಂಚದ ಮೇಲೆ ಮುದುರಿಕೊಂಡನು. ಅವನು ಪ್ರಾಣ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ತನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿದನು.
