Genesis 46
1 And Israel journeys, and all that he has, and comes to Beer-Sheba, and sacrifices sacrifices to the God of his father Isaac;
Y partióse Israel con todo lo que tenía, y vino a Beer-seba, y sacrificó sacrificios al Dios de su padre Isaac.
2 and God speaks to Israel in visions of the night and says, “Jacob, Jacob”; and he says, “Here I [am].”
Y habló Dios a Israel en visiones de noche, y dijo: Jacob, Jacob. Y él respondió: Heme aquí.
3 And He says, “I [am] God, God of your father, do not be afraid of going down to Egypt, for I set you there for a great nation;
Y dijo: Yo soy el Dios, el Dios de tu padre; no temas de descender a Egipto; porque yo te pondré allí en gran gente.
4 I go down with you to Egypt, and I also certainly bring you up, and Joseph puts his hand on your eyes.”
Yo descenderé contigo a Egipto; y yo también te haré volver; y José pondrá su mano sobre tus ojos.
5 And Jacob rises from Beer-Sheba, and the sons of Israel carry away their father Jacob, and their infants, and their wives, in the wagons which Pharaoh has sent to carry him,
Y levantóse Jacob de Beer-seba, y tomaron los hijos de Israel a su padre Jacob, y a sus niños, y a sus mujeres en los carros que Faraón había enviado para llevarle.
6 and they take their livestock, and their goods which they have acquired in the land of Canaan, and come into Egypt—Jacob, and all his seed with him,
Y tomaron sus ganados, y su hacienda que habían adquirido en la tierra de Canaán, y viniéronse a Egipto, Jacob, y toda su simiente consigo:
7 his sons, and his sons’ sons with him, his daughters, and his sons’ daughters, indeed, all his seed he brought with him into Egypt.
Sus hijos, y los hijos de sus hijos consigo: sus hijas, y las hijas de sus hijos; y a toda su simiente trajo consigo en Egipto.
8 And these [are] the names of the sons of Israel who are coming into Egypt: Jacob and his sons, Jacob’s firstborn, Reuben.
Y estos son los nombres de los hijos de Israel, que entraron en Egipto, Jacob, y sus hijos. El primogénito de Jacob, Rubén.
9 And sons of Reuben: Enoch, and Phallu, and Hezron, and Carmi.
Y los hijos de Rubén: Jenoc, y Fallu, y Jesrón, y Carmi.
10 And sons of Simeon: Jemuel, and Jamin, and Ohad, and Jachin, and Zohar, and Shaul son of the Canaanite.
Y los hijos de Simeón: Lamuel, y Lamín, y Ahod, y Jaquín, y Sohar, y Saul hijo de la Cananea.
11 And sons of Levi: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.
Y los hijos de Leví: Gersón, y Cahat, y Merari.
12 And sons of Judah: Er, and Onan, and Shelah, and Perez, and Zerah (and Er and Onan die in the land of Canaan). And sons of Perez are Hezron and Hamul.
Y los hijos de Judá: Her, y Onán, y Sela, y Fares, y Zara; mas Her, y Onán murieron en la tierra de Canaán. Y los hijos de Fares fueron Jesrón, y Hamul.
13 And sons of Issachar: Tola, and Phuvah, and Job, and Shimron.
Y los hijos de Isacar: Tola, y Fua, y Job, y Simerón.
14 And sons of Zebulun: Sered, and Elon, and Jahleel.
Y los hijos de Zabulón: Sared, y Elón, y Jahelel.
15 These [are] sons of Leah whom she bore to Jacob in Padan-Aram, and his daughter Dinah; all the persons of his sons and his daughters [are] thirty-three.
Estos fueron los hijos de Lia que parió a Jacob en Padan-aram, y a Dina su hija: todas las almas de los hijos y de las hijas fueron treinta y tres.
16 And sons of Gad: Ziphion, and Haggi, Shuni, and Ezbon, Eri, and Arodi, and Areli.
Y los hijos de Gad: Sefón, y Agui, y Jesebón, y Suni, y Heri, y Arodi, y Areli.
17 And sons of Asher: Jimnah, and Ishuah, and Isui, and Beriah, and their sister Serah. And sons of Beriah: Heber and Malchiel.
Y los hijos de Aser: Jamna, y Jesua, y Jessui, y Beria, y Sara hermana de ellos. Los hijos de Beria: Jeber, y Melquiel.
18 These [are] sons of Zilpah, whom Laban gave to his daughter Leah, and she bears these to Jacob—sixteen persons.
Estos fueron los hijos de Zelfa, la que Labán dio a su hija Lia, y parió estos a Jacob, diez y seis almas.
19 Sons of Rachel, Jacob’s wife: Joseph and Benjamin.
Y los hijos de Raquel, mujer de Jacob: José, y Ben-jamín.
20 And born to Joseph in the land of Egypt (whom Asenath daughter of Poti-Pherah, priest of On, has borne to him) [are] Manasseh and Ephraim.
Y nacieron a José en la tierra de Egipto, que le parió Asenet, hija de Potifera, príncipe de On: Manasés y Efraím.
21 And sons of Benjamin: Belah, and Becher, and Ashbel, Gera, and Naaman, Ehi, and Rosh, Muppim, and Huppim, and Ard.
Y los hijos de Ben-jamín: Bela, y Becor, y Asbel, y Gera, y Naamán, y Equi, y Ros, y Mofim, y Ofim, y Ared.
22 These [are] sons of Rachel, who were born to Jacob; all the persons [are] fourteen.
Estos fueron los hijos de Raquel que nacieron a Jacob, todas las almas, catorce.
23 And sons of Dan: Hushim.
Y los hijos de Dan: Husín.
24 And sons of Naphtali: Jahzeel, and Guni, and Jezer, and Shillem.
Y los hijos de Neftalí: Jasiel, y Gumi, y Jeser, y Sallem.
25 These [are] sons of Bilhah, whom Laban gave to his daughter Rachel; and she bears these to Jacob—all the persons [are] seven.
Estos fueron los hijos de Bala, la que dio Labán a Raquel su hija, y parió estos a Jacob, todas las almas, siete.
26 All the persons who are coming to Jacob to Egypt, coming out of his thigh, apart from the wives of Jacob’s sons, all the persons [are] sixty-six.
Todas las personas que vinieron con Jacob a Egipto, que salieron de su muslo, sin las mujeres de los hijos de Jacob, todas las personas fueron sesenta y seis.
27 And the sons of Joseph who have been born to him in Egypt [are] two persons. All the persons of the house of Jacob who are coming into Egypt [are] seventy.
Y los hijos de José, que le nacieron en Egipto, dos personas. Todas las almas de la casa de Jacob, que entraron en Egipto fueron setenta.
28 And Judah he has sent before him to Joseph, to direct before him to Goshen, and they come into the land of Goshen;
Y envió a Judá delante de sí a José para que le viniese a ver a Gosén, y llegaron a la tierra de Gosén.
29 and Joseph harnesses his chariot, and goes up to meet his father Israel, to Goshen, and appears to him, and falls on his neck, and weeps on his neck again;
Y José unció su carro, y vino a recibir a Israel su padre a Gosén, y mostrósele: y echóse sobre su cuello, y lloró sobre su cuello asaz.
30 and Israel says to Joseph, “Let me die this time, after my seeing your face, for you [are] yet alive.”
Entonces Israel dijo a José: Muera yo ahora, pues que ya he visto tu rostro: que aun vives.
31 And Joseph says to his brothers, and to the house of his father, “I go up, and declare to Pharaoh, and say to him, My brothers, and the house of my father who [are] in the land of Canaan have come to me;
Y José dijo a sus hermanos, y a la casa de su padre: Yo subiré, y haré saber a Faraón, y decirle he: Mis hermanos y la casa de mi padre, que estaban en la tierra de Canaán, han venido a mí.
32 and the men [are] feeders of a flock, for they have been men of livestock; and their flock, and their herd, and all that they have, they have brought.
Y los hombres son pastores de ovejas, porque son hombres ganaderos: y han traído sus ovejas y sus vacas; y todo lo que tenían.
33 And it has come to pass, when Pharaoh calls for you and has said, What [are] your works?
Y cuando Faraón os llamare, y dijere: ¿Qué es vuestro oficio?
34 That you have said, Your servants have been men of livestock from our youth, even until now, both we and our fathers, in order that you may dwell in the land of Goshen, for the abomination of the Egyptians is everyone feeding a flock.”
Entonces diréis: Hombres de ganado han sido tus siervos desde nuestra mocedad hasta ahora, nosotros y nuestros padres: para que moréis en la tierra de Gosén, porque los Egipcios abominan a todo pastor de ovejas.
