Genesis 46
1 And Israel journeys, and all that he has, and comes to Beer-Sheba, and sacrifices sacrifices to the God of his father Isaac;
E partiu Israel com tudo quanto tinha, e veiu a Berseba, e sacrificou sacrificios ao Deus de seu pae Isaac.
2 and God speaks to Israel in visions of the night and says, “Jacob, Jacob”; and he says, “Here I [am].”
E fallou Deus a Israel em visões da noite, e disse: Jacob, Jacob! E elle disse: Eis-me aqui.
3 And He says, “I [am] God, God of your father, do not be afraid of going down to Egypt, for I set you there for a great nation;
E disse: Eu sou o Deus, o Deus de teu pae; não temas de descer ao Egypto, porque eu te farei ali uma grande nação.
4 I go down with you to Egypt, and I also certainly bring you up, and Joseph puts his hand on your eyes.”
E descerei comtigo ao Egypto, e certamente te farei tornar a subir, e José porá a sua mão sobro os teus olhos.
5 And Jacob rises from Beer-Sheba, and the sons of Israel carry away their father Jacob, and their infants, and their wives, in the wagons which Pharaoh has sent to carry him,
Então levantou-se Jacob de Berseba, e os filhos de Israel levaram a seu pae Jacob, e seus meninos, e as suas mulheres, nos carros que Pharaó enviara para o levar.
6 and they take their livestock, and their goods which they have acquired in the land of Canaan, and come into Egypt—Jacob, and all his seed with him,
E tomaram o seu gado e a sua fazenda que tinham adquirido na terra de Canaan, e vieram ao Egypto, Jacob e toda a sua semente com elle,
7 his sons, and his sons’ sons with him, his daughters, and his sons’ daughters, indeed, all his seed he brought with him into Egypt.
Os seus filhos, e os filhos de seus filhos com elle, as suas filhas, e as filhas de seus filhos, e toda a sua semente levou comsigo ao Egypto.
8 And these [are] the names of the sons of Israel who are coming into Egypt: Jacob and his sons, Jacob’s firstborn, Reuben.
E estes são os nomes dos filhos de Israel, que vieram ao Egypto, Jacob e seus filhos: Ruben, o primogenito de Jacob,
9 And sons of Reuben: Enoch, and Phallu, and Hezron, and Carmi.
E os filhos de Ruben: Hanoch, e Pallu, e Hezron, e Carmi.
10 And sons of Simeon: Jemuel, and Jamin, and Ohad, and Jachin, and Zohar, and Shaul son of the Canaanite.
E os filhos de Simeão: Jemuel, e Jamin, e Ohad, e Jachin, e Zohar, e Shaul, filho de uma mulher cananea.
11 And sons of Levi: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.
E os filhos de Levi: Gerson, Kohath, e Merari.
12 And sons of Judah: Er, and Onan, and Shelah, and Perez, and Zerah (and Er and Onan die in the land of Canaan). And sons of Perez are Hezron and Hamul.
E os filhos de Judah: Er, e Onan, e Sela, e Perez, e Serah; Er e Onan, porém, morreram na terra de Canaan; e os filhos de Perez foram Hezron e Hamul.
13 And sons of Issachar: Tola, and Phuvah, and Job, and Shimron.
E os filhos de Issacar: Tola, e Puah, e Iob, e Simron.
14 And sons of Zebulun: Sered, and Elon, and Jahleel.
E os filhos de Zebulon: Sered, e Elon, e Jahleel.
15 These [are] sons of Leah whom she bore to Jacob in Padan-Aram, and his daughter Dinah; all the persons of his sons and his daughters [are] thirty-three.
Estes são os filhos de Leah, que pariu a Jacob em Paddan-aram, com Dinah, sua filha: todas as almas de seus filhos e de suas filhas foram trinta e tres.
16 And sons of Gad: Ziphion, and Haggi, Shuni, and Ezbon, Eri, and Arodi, and Areli.
E os filhos de Gad: Ziphion, e Haggi, Shuni, e Ezbon, Eri, e Arodi, e Areli.
17 And sons of Asher: Jimnah, and Ishuah, and Isui, and Beriah, and their sister Serah. And sons of Beriah: Heber and Malchiel.
E os filhos de Asher: Imnah, e Ischva, e Ischvi, e Beria, e Serah, a irmã d'elles: e os filhos de Beria: Heber e Malchiel.
18 These [are] sons of Zilpah, whom Laban gave to his daughter Leah, and she bears these to Jacob—sixteen persons.
Estes são os filhos de Zilpah, que Labão deu á sua filha Leah; e pariu a Jacob estas dezeseis almas.
19 Sons of Rachel, Jacob’s wife: Joseph and Benjamin.
Os filhos de Rachel, mulher de Jacob: José e Benjamin.
20 And born to Joseph in the land of Egypt (whom Asenath daughter of Poti-Pherah, priest of On, has borne to him) [are] Manasseh and Ephraim.
E nasceram a José na terra do Egypto Manasseh e Ephraim, que lhe pariu Asenath, filha de Potiphera, sacerdote de On.
21 And sons of Benjamin: Belah, and Becher, and Ashbel, Gera, and Naaman, Ehi, and Rosh, Muppim, and Huppim, and Ard.
E os filhos de Benjamin: Belah, Becher, e Asbel, Gera, e, Naaman, Echi e Rosh, Muppim, e Huppim, e Ard.
22 These [are] sons of Rachel, who were born to Jacob; all the persons [are] fourteen.
Estes são os filhos de Rachel, que nasceram a Jacob, ao todo quatorze almas.
23 And sons of Dan: Hushim.
E os filhos de Dan: Husim.
24 And sons of Naphtali: Jahzeel, and Guni, and Jezer, and Shillem.
E os filhos de Naphtali: Jahzeel, e Guni, e Jezer, e Shilem.
25 These [are] sons of Bilhah, whom Laban gave to his daughter Rachel; and she bears these to Jacob—all the persons [are] seven.
Estes são os filhos de Bilha, que Labão deu á sua filha Rachel; e pariu estes a Jacob; todas as almas foram sete.
26 All the persons who are coming to Jacob to Egypt, coming out of his thigh, apart from the wives of Jacob’s sons, all the persons [are] sixty-six.
Todas as almas que vieram com Jacob ao Egypto, que sairam da sua côxa, sem as mulheres dos filhos de Jacob, todas foram sessenta e seis almas.
27 And the sons of Joseph who have been born to him in Egypt [are] two persons. All the persons of the house of Jacob who are coming into Egypt [are] seventy.
E os filhos de José, que lhe nasceram no Egypto, eram duas almas. Todas as almas da casa de Jacob, que vieram ao Egypto, foram setenta.
28 And Judah he has sent before him to Joseph, to direct before him to Goshen, and they come into the land of Goshen;
E enviou a Judah diante da sua face a José, para o encaminhar a Gosen; e chegaram á terra de Gosen.
29 and Joseph harnesses his chariot, and goes up to meet his father Israel, to Goshen, and appears to him, and falls on his neck, and weeps on his neck again;
Então José apromptou o seu carro, e subiu ao encontro de Israel, seu pae, a Gosen. E, mostrando-se-lhe, lançou-se ao seu pescoço, e chorou sobre o seu pescoço longo tempo.
30 and Israel says to Joseph, “Let me die this time, after my seeing your face, for you [are] yet alive.”
E Israel disse a José: Morra eu agora, pois já tenho visto o teu rosto, que ainda vives.
31 And Joseph says to his brothers, and to the house of his father, “I go up, and declare to Pharaoh, and say to him, My brothers, and the house of my father who [are] in the land of Canaan have come to me;
Depois disse José a seus irmãos, e á casa de seu pae: Eu subirei, e annunciarei a Pharaó, e lhe direi: Meus irmãos, e a casa de meu pae, que estavam na terra de Canaan, vieram a mim!
32 and the men [are] feeders of a flock, for they have been men of livestock; and their flock, and their herd, and all that they have, they have brought.
E os varões são pastores de ovelhas, porque são homens de gado, e trouxeram comsigo as suas ovelhas, e as suas vaccas, e tudo o que teem.
33 And it has come to pass, when Pharaoh calls for you and has said, What [are] your works?
Quando pois acontecer que Pharaó vos chamar, e disser: Qual é vosso negocio?
34 That you have said, Your servants have been men of livestock from our youth, even until now, both we and our fathers, in order that you may dwell in the land of Goshen, for the abomination of the Egyptians is everyone feeding a flock.”
Então direis: Teus servos foram homens de gado desde a nossa mocidade até agora, tanto nós como os nossos paes; para que habitemos na terra de Gosen; porque todo o pastor de ovelhas é abominação aos egypcios.
