Genesis 46
1 And Israel journeys, and all that he has, and comes to Beer-Sheba, and sacrifices sacrifices to the God of his father Isaac;
Elindula azért Izráel minden hozzá tartozóival és méne Beérsebába; és áldozék áldozatokat az ő atyja Izsák Istenének.
2 and God speaks to Israel in visions of the night and says, “Jacob, Jacob”; and he says, “Here I [am].”
És szóla Isten Izráelnek éjjeli látomásban, és monda: Jákób, Jákób. Ő pedig monda: Ímhol vagyok.
3 And He says, “I [am] God, God of your father, do not be afraid of going down to Egypt, for I set you there for a great nation;
És monda: Én vagyok az Isten, a te atyádnak Istene: Ne félj lemenni Égyiptomba: mert nagy néppé teszlek ott téged.
4 I go down with you to Egypt, and I also certainly bring you up, and Joseph puts his hand on your eyes.”
Én lemegyek veled Égyiptomba, és én bizonynyal fel is hozlak; és József fogja bé a te szemeidet.
5 And Jacob rises from Beer-Sheba, and the sons of Israel carry away their father Jacob, and their infants, and their wives, in the wagons which Pharaoh has sent to carry him,
Felkerekedék azért Jákób Beérsebából, és elvivék Izráel fiai Jákóbot az ő atyjokat, és gyermekeiket és feleségeiket a szekereken, melyeket a Faraó küldött vala érette.
6 and they take their livestock, and their goods which they have acquired in the land of Canaan, and come into Egypt—Jacob, and all his seed with him,
És elvivék nyájaikat és szerzeményeiket, melyeket Kanaán földén szereztek vala, és jutának Égyiptomba Jákób és minden vele levő magva.
7 his sons, and his sons’ sons with him, his daughters, and his sons’ daughters, indeed, all his seed he brought with him into Egypt.
Az ő fiait és fiainak fiait, az ő leányait, és fiainak leányait és minden vele levő magvát elvivé magával Égyiptomba.
8 And these [are] the names of the sons of Israel who are coming into Egypt: Jacob and his sons, Jacob’s firstborn, Reuben.
Ezek pedig az Izráel fiainak nevei, kik bementek Égyiptomba: Jákób és az ő fiai: Jákóbnak elsőszülötte Rúben.
9 And sons of Reuben: Enoch, and Phallu, and Hezron, and Carmi.
Rúben fiai pedig: Khánokh, Pallu, Kheczrón, Khármi.
10 And sons of Simeon: Jemuel, and Jamin, and Ohad, and Jachin, and Zohar, and Shaul son of the Canaanite.
Simeon fiai pedig: Jemúel, Jámin, Ohad, Jákhin, Czóhár és Saul a kanaáni asszonynak fia.
11 And sons of Levi: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.
Lévi fiai pedig: Gerson, Kehát, Mérári.
12 And sons of Judah: Er, and Onan, and Shelah, and Perez, and Zerah (and Er and Onan die in the land of Canaan). And sons of Perez are Hezron and Hamul.
Júda fiai pedig: Hér, Ónán, Séla, Perecz, Zerákh; de megholt vala Hér és Ónán a Kanaán földén. Perecznek fiai pedig: Kheczrón és Khámul.
13 And sons of Issachar: Tola, and Phuvah, and Job, and Shimron.
Izsakhár fiai pedig: Thóla, Puvah, Jób és Simrón.
14 And sons of Zebulun: Sered, and Elon, and Jahleel.
Zebulon fiai pedig: Szered, Élon, Jákhleél.
15 These [are] sons of Leah whom she bore to Jacob in Padan-Aram, and his daughter Dinah; all the persons of his sons and his daughters [are] thirty-three.
Ezek Lea fiai, a kiket szűlt vala Jákóbnak Mésopotámiában, Dínával az ő leányával együtt. Fiainak és leányainak összes száma: harminczhárom lélek.
16 And sons of Gad: Ziphion, and Haggi, Shuni, and Ezbon, Eri, and Arodi, and Areli.
Gád fiai pedig: Czifjon, Khaggi, Súni, Eczbón, Héri, Aródi és Areéli.
17 And sons of Asher: Jimnah, and Ishuah, and Isui, and Beriah, and their sister Serah. And sons of Beriah: Heber and Malchiel.
Áser fiai pedig: Jimnáh, Jisváh, Jisvi, Beriha és Szerakh az ő húgok; Berihának fiai pedig: Khéber és Málkhiel.
18 These [are] sons of Zilpah, whom Laban gave to his daughter Leah, and she bears these to Jacob—sixteen persons.
Ezek Zilpa fiai, kit Lábán adott vala Leának az ő leányának; és ő szűlé ezt a tizenhat lelket Jákóbnak.
19 Sons of Rachel, Jacob’s wife: Joseph and Benjamin.
Rákhelnek, Jákób feleségének fiai: József és Benjámin.
20 And born to Joseph in the land of Egypt (whom Asenath daughter of Poti-Pherah, priest of On, has borne to him) [are] Manasseh and Ephraim.
És születének Józsefnek Égyiptom földén Manasse és Efráim, a kiket Asznáth, Potiferának, On papjának leánya szűlt néki.
21 And sons of Benjamin: Belah, and Becher, and Ashbel, Gera, and Naaman, Ehi, and Rosh, Muppim, and Huppim, and Ard.
Benjámin fiai pedig: Bela, Bekher, Asbél, Géra, Nahamán, Ekhi, Rós, Muppim, Khuppim és Ard.
22 These [are] sons of Rachel, who were born to Jacob; all the persons [are] fourteen.
Ezek Rákhel fiai, kik születtek Jákóbnak, mindössze tizennégy lélek.
23 And sons of Dan: Hushim.
Dán fia pedig: Khusim.
24 And sons of Naphtali: Jahzeel, and Guni, and Jezer, and Shillem.
Nafthali fiai pedig: Jakhczeél, Gúni, Jéczer és Sillém.
25 These [are] sons of Bilhah, whom Laban gave to his daughter Rachel; and she bears these to Jacob—all the persons [are] seven.
Ezek Bilha fiai, kit adott vala Lábán Rákhelnek az ő leányának; és ezeket szűlte Jákóbnak, mindössze hét lelket.
26 All the persons who are coming to Jacob to Egypt, coming out of his thigh, apart from the wives of Jacob’s sons, all the persons [are] sixty-six.
Valamennyi Jákóbbal Égyiptomba jött lélek, kik az ő ágyékából származtak, a Jákób fiainak feleségeit nem számítva, mindössze hatvanhat lélek.
27 And the sons of Joseph who have been born to him in Egypt [are] two persons. All the persons of the house of Jacob who are coming into Egypt [are] seventy.
József fiai pedig, kik Égyiptomban születtek, két lélek. Jákób egész házanépe, mely Égyiptomba ment vala, hetven lélek.
28 And Judah he has sent before him to Joseph, to direct before him to Goshen, and they come into the land of Goshen;
Júdát pedig elküldé maga előtt Józsefhez, hogy útmutatója legyen Gósen felé. És eljutának Gósen földére.
29 and Joseph harnesses his chariot, and goes up to meet his father Israel, to Goshen, and appears to him, and falls on his neck, and weeps on his neck again;
És befogata József az ő szekerébe, és eleibe méne Izráelnek az ő atyjának Gósenbe; s a mint maga előtt látá, nyakába borula, és síra az ő nyakán sok ideig.
30 and Israel says to Joseph, “Let me die this time, after my seeing your face, for you [are] yet alive.”
És monda Izráel Józsefnek: Immár örömest meghalok, minekutána láttam a te orczádat, hogy még élsz.
31 And Joseph says to his brothers, and to the house of his father, “I go up, and declare to Pharaoh, and say to him, My brothers, and the house of my father who [are] in the land of Canaan have come to me;
József pedig monda az ő testvéreinek, és az ő atyja házanépének: Felmegyek és tudtára adom a Faraónak, és ezt mondom néki: Az én testvéreim és atyám háznépe, kik Kanaán földén valának, eljöttek én hozzám.
32 and the men [are] feeders of a flock, for they have been men of livestock; and their flock, and their herd, and all that they have, they have brought.
Azok az emberek pedig juhpásztorok, mert baromtartó nép valának, és juhaikat, barmaikat, és mindenöket valamijök van, elhozták.
33 And it has come to pass, when Pharaoh calls for you and has said, What [are] your works?
S ha majd a Faraó hivat titeket és azt kérdi: Mi a ti életmódotok?
34 That you have said, Your servants have been men of livestock from our youth, even until now, both we and our fathers, in order that you may dwell in the land of Goshen, for the abomination of the Egyptians is everyone feeding a flock.”
Azt mondjátok: Baromtartó emberek voltak a te szolgáid gyermekségünktől fogva mind ez ideig, mi is, mint a mi atyáink, hogy lakhassatok Gósen földén; mert minden juhpásztor utálatos az Égyiptombeliek előtt.
