Genesis 36
1 And these [are] the generations of Esau, who [is] Edom.
১এষৌর অর্থাৎ ইদোমের বংশ-বৃত্তান্ত এই।
2 Esau has taken his wives from the daughters of Canaan: Adah daughter of Elon the Hittite, and Aholibamah daughter of Anah, daughter of Zibeon the Hivite,
২এষৌ কনানীয়দের দুটি মেয়েকে, অর্থাৎ হিত্তীয় এলোনের মেয়ে আদাকে ও হিব্বীয় সিবিয়োনের নাতনি অনার মেয়ে অহলীবামাকে,
3 and Bashemath daughter of Ishmael, sister of Nebajoth.
৩তাছাড়াও নবায়োতের বোনকে, অর্থাৎ ইশ্মায়েলের বাসমৎ নামে মেয়েকে বিয়ে করলেন।
4 And Adah bears to Esau, Eliphaz; and Bashemath has borne Reuel;
৪আর এষৌর জন্য আদা ইলীফসকে ও বাসমৎ রুয়েলকে প্রসব করে।
5 and Aholibamah has borne Jeush, and Jaalam, and Korah. These [are] sons of Esau, who were born to him in the land of Canaan.
৫এবং অহলীবামা যিয়ূশ, যালম ও কোরহকে প্রসব করে; এরা এষৌর ছেলে, কনান দেশে জন্মে।
6 And Esau takes his wives, and his sons, and his daughters, and all the persons of his house, and his livestock, and all his beasts, and all his substance which he has acquired in the land of Canaan, and goes into the country from the face of his brother Jacob;
৬পরে এষৌ নিজের স্ত্রী ছেলে মেয়েরা ও ঘরের অন্য সব প্রাণীকে এবং নিজের সমস্ত পশুধন ও কনান দেশে উপার্জিত সমস্ত সম্পত্তি নিয়ে যাকোব ভাইয়ের সামনে থেকে আর এক দেশে চলে গেলেন।
7 for their substance was more abundant than to dwell together, and the land of their sojournings was not able to bear them because of their livestock;
৭কারণ তাঁদের প্রচুর সম্পত্তি থাকাতে একসঙ্গে বসবাস করা সম্ভব হল না এবং পশুধনের জন্য তাঁদের সেই প্রবাস-দেশে জায়গা কুলাল না।
8 and Esau dwells in Mount Seir: Esau is Edom.
৮এই ভাবে এষৌ সেয়ীর পর্বতে বাস করলেন; তিনিই ইদোম।
9 And these [are] the generations of Esau, father of Edom, in Mount Seir.
৯সেয়ীর পর্বতে অবস্থিত ইদোমীয়দের পূর্বপুরুষ এষৌর বংশ-বৃত্তান্ত এই।
10 These [are] the names of the sons of Esau: Eliphaz son of Adah, wife of Esau; Reuel son of Bashemath, wife of Esau.
১০এষৌর ছেলেদের নাম এই। এষৌর স্ত্রী আদার ছেলে ইলীফস ও এষৌর স্ত্রী বাসমতের ছেলে রুয়েল।
11 And the sons of Eliphaz are Teman, Omar, Zepho, and Gatam, and Kenaz;
১১আর ইলীফসের ছেলে তৈমন ও ওমার, সফো, গয়িতম ও কনস।
12 and Timnath has been concubine to Eliphaz son of Esau, and she bears to Eliphaz, Amalek; these [are] sons of Adah wife of Esau.
১২আর এষৌর ছেলে ইলীফসের তিম্না নামের এক উপপত্নী ছিল, সে ইলীফসের জন্য অমালেককে প্রসব করল। এরা এষৌর স্ত্রী আদার বংশধর।
13 And these [are] sons of Reuel: Nahath and Zerah, Shammah and Mizzah; these were sons of Bashemath wife of Esau.
১৩আর রুয়েলের ছেলে নহৎ, সেরহ, শম্ম ও মিসা; এরা এষৌর স্ত্রী বাসমতের ছেলে।
14 And these have been the sons of Aholibamah daughter of Anah, daughter of Zibeon, wife of Esau; and she bears to Esau, Jeush and Jaalam and Korah.
১৪আর সিবিয়োনের নাতনি অনার মেয়ে যে অহলীবামা এষৌর স্ত্রী ছিল, তার ছেলে যিয়ূশ, যালম ও কোরহ।
15 These [are] chiefs of the sons of Esau: sons of Eliphaz, firstborn of Esau: Chief Teman, Chief Omar, Chief Zepho, Chief Kenaz,
১৫এষৌর বংশধরদের দলপতিরা এই। এষৌর বড় ছেলে যে ইলীফস, তার ছেলে দলপতি তৈমন, দলপতি ওমার,
16 Chief Korah, Chief Gatam, Chief Amalek; these [are] chiefs of Eliphaz, in the land of Edom; these [are] sons of Adah.
১৬দলপতি সফো, দলপতি কনস, দলপতি কোরহ, দলপতি গয়িতম ও দলপতি অমালেক; ইদোম দেশের ইলীফস বংশীয় এই দলপতিরা আদার বংশধর।
17 And these [are] sons of Reuel son of Esau: Chief Nahath, Chief Zerah, Chief Shammah, Chief Mizzah; these [are] chiefs of Reuel, in the land of Edom; these [are] sons of Bashemath wife of Esau.
১৭এষৌর ছেলে রুয়েলের ছেলে দলপতি নয়, দলপতি সেরহ, দলপতি শম্ম ও দলপতি মিসা; ইদোম দেশের রুয়েল বংশীয় এই দলপতিরা এষৌর স্ত্রী বাসমতের ছেলে।
18 And these [are] sons of Aholibamah wife of Esau: Chief Jeush, Chief Jaalam, Chief Korah; these [are] chiefs of Aholibamah daughter of Anah, wife of Esau.
১৮আর এষৌর স্ত্রী অহলীবামার ছেলে দলপতি যিয়ুশ, দলপতি যালম ও দলপতি কোরহ; অনার মেয়ে যে অহলীবামা এষৌর স্ত্রী ছিল, এই দলপতিরা তার বংশধর।
19 These [are] sons of Esau (who [is] Edom), and these their chiefs.
১৯এরা এষৌর অর্থাৎ ইদোমের সন্তান ও এরা তাদের দলপতি।
20 These [are] sons of Seir the Horite, the inhabitants of the land: Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah,
২০সেই দেশনিবাসী হোরীয় সেয়ীরের ছেলে লোটন, শোবল, শিবিয়োন, অনা,
21 and Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan; these [are] chiefs of the Horites, sons of Seir, in the land of Edom.
২১দিশোন, এৎসর ও দীশন; সেয়ীরের এই ছেলেরা ইদোম দেশের হোরীয় বংশোদ্ভব দলপতি ছিলেন।
22 And the sons of Lotan are Hori and Heman; and a sister of Lotan [is] Timna.
২২লোটনের ছেলে হোরি ও হেমম এবং তিম্না লোটনের বোন ছিল।
23 And these [are] sons of Shobal: Alvan and Manahath, and Ebal, Shepho and Onam.
২৩আর শোবলের অলবন, মানহৎ, এবল, শফো ও ওনম।
24 And these [are] sons of Zibeon, both Ajah and Anah: it [is] Anah that has found the Imim in the wilderness, in his feeding the donkeys of his father Zibeon.
২৪আর সিবিয়োনের ছেলে অয়া ও অনা; এই অনা তার বাবা সিবিয়োনের গাধা চরাবার দিনের মরুপ্রান্তে গরম জলের উনুই খুঁজে পেয়েছিল।
25 And these [are] sons of Anah: Dishon, and Aholibamah daughter of Anah.
২৫অনার ছেলে দিশোন ও অনার মেয়ে অহলীবামা।
26 And these [are] sons of Dishon: Hemdan, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.
২৬আর দিশোনের ছেলে হিমদন, ইশবন, যিত্রন ও করান।
27 These [are] sons of Ezer: Bilhan, and Zaavan, and Akan.
২৭আর এৎসরের ছেলে বিলহন, সাবন ও আকন।
28 These [are] sons of Dishan: Uz and Aran.
২৮আর দিশোনের ছেলে উষ ও অরান।
29 These [are] chiefs of the Horite: Chief Lotan, Chief Shobal, Chief Zibeon, Chief Anah,
২৯হোরীয় বংশোদ্ভব দলপতিরা এই; দলপতি লোটন, দলপতি শোবল, দলপতি সিবিয়োন, দলপতি অনা,
30 Chief Dishon, Chief Ezer, Chief Dishan: these [are] chiefs of the Horite in reference to their chiefs in the land of Seir.
৩০দলপতি দিশোন, দলপতি এৎসর ও দলপতি দীশন। এরা সেয়ীর দেশের হোরীয় বংশোদ্ভব দলপতি।
31 And these [are] the kings who have reigned in the land of Edom before the reigning of a king over the sons of Israel.
৩১ইস্রায়েল–সন্তানদের ওপরে কোনো রাজা রাজত্ব করার আগে এরা ইদোম দেশের রাজা ছিলেন।
32 And Bela son of Beor reigns in Edom, and the name of his city [is] Dinhabah;
৩২বিয়োরের ছেলে বেলা ইদোম দেশে রাজত্ব করেন, তাঁর রাজধানীর নাম দিন হাবা।
33 and Bela dies, and Jobab son of Zerah from Bozrah reigns in his stead;
৩৩আর বেলা মারা গেলে পর তাঁর পদে বস্রা-নিবাসী সেরহের ছেলে যোবব রাজত্ব করেন।
34 and Jobab dies, and Husham from the land of the Temanite reigns in his stead.
৩৪আর যোবব মারা গেলে পর তৈমন দেশীয় হূশম তাঁর পদে রাজত্ব করেন।
35 And Husham dies, and Hadad son of Bedad reigns in his stead (who strikes Midian in the field of Moab), and the name of his city [is] Avith;
৩৫আর হূশম মারা যাবার পর বদদের ছেলে যে হদদ মোয়াব-ক্ষেত্রে মিদিয়নকে আঘাত করেছিলেন, তিনি তার পদে রাজত্ব করেন; তাঁর রাজধানীর নাম অবীৎ।
36 and Hadad dies, and Samlah of Masrekah reigns in his stead;
৩৬আর হদদ মারা যাবার পর মস্রেকা-নিবাসী সম্ল তাঁর পদে রাজত্ব করেন।
37 and Samlah dies, and Saul from Rehoboth of the River reigns in his stead;
৩৭আর সম্ল মারা গেলে পর [ফরাৎ] নদীর নিকটবর্তী রহোবোৎ-নিবাসী শৌল তাঁর পদে রাজত্ব করেন।
38 and Saul dies, and Ba‘al-hanan son of Achbor reigns in his stead;
৩৮আর শৌল মারা গেলে পর অকবোরের ছেলে বাল্হানন তাঁর পদে রাজত্ব করেন।
39 and Ba‘al-hanan son of Achbor dies, and Hadar reigns in his stead, and the name of his city [is] Pau; and his wife’s name [is] Mehetabel daughter of Matred, daughter of Me-zahab.
৩৯আর অকবোরের পুত্র বাল্হানন মারা গেলে পর হদর তাঁর পদে রাজত্ব করেন; তাঁর রাজধানীর নাম পায়ু ও স্ত্রীর নাম মহেটবেল, সে মট্রেদের মেয়ে ও মেষাহবের নাতনী।
40 And these [are] the names of the chiefs of Esau, according to their families, according to their places, by their names: Chief Timnah, Chief Alvah, Chief Jetheth,
৪০গোষ্ঠী, স্থান ও নাম ভেদে এষৌ থেকে সৃষ্টি যে সব দলপতি ছিলেন, তাঁদের নাম হল; দলপতি তিম্ন, দলপতি অলবা দলপতি যিথেৎ,
41 Chief Aholibamah, Chief Elah, Chief Pinon,
৪১দলপতি অহলীবামা, দলপতি এলা, দলপতি পীনোন,
42 Chief Kenaz, Chief Teman, Chief Mibzar,
৪২দলপতি কনস্, দলপতি তৈমন, দলপতি মিবসর,
43 Chief Magdiel, Chief Iram: these [are] chiefs of Edom, in reference to their dwellings, in the land of their possession; he [is] Esau father of Edom.
৪৩দলপতি মগদীয়েল ও দলপতি ঈরম। এরা নিজের নিজের অধিকার দেশে, নিজের নিজের বসবাস জায়গা ভেদে ইদোমের দলপতি ছিলেন। ইদোমীয়দের আদিপুরুষ এষৌর বৃত্তান্ত সমাপ্ত।
