Genesis 22
1 And it comes to pass after these things that God has tried Abraham and says to him, “Abraham”; and he says, “Here I [am].”
ಕೆಲವು ಕಾಲದ ನಂತರ, ದೇವರು ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನನ್ನು ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ, “ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನೇ,” ಎಂದು ಕರೆದರು. ಅದಕ್ಕವನು, “ಇಗೋ, ಇಲ್ಲಿದ್ದೇನೆ,” ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
2 And He says, “Now take your son, your only one, whom you have loved, even Isaac, and go for yourself to the land of Moriah, and cause him to ascend there for a burnt-offering on one of the mountains of which I speak to you.”
ಆಗ ದೇವರು, “ನೀನು ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಮಾಡುವ ನಿನ್ನ ಒಬ್ಬನೇ ಮಗ ಇಸಾಕನನ್ನು ಈಗ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು, ಮೊರೀಯಾ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ, ಅಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ಹೇಳುವ ಒಂದು ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವನನ್ನು ದಹನಬಲಿಯಾಗಿ ಅರ್ಪಿಸು,” ಎಂದರು.
3 And Abraham rises early in the morning, and saddles his donkey, and takes two of his young men with him, and his son Isaac, and he cleaves the wood of the burnt-offering, and rises and goes to the place of which God has spoken to him.
ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಎದ್ದು, ತನ್ನ ಕತ್ತೆಗೆ ತಡಿ ಕಟ್ಟಿ, ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರಲ್ಲಿ ಇಬ್ಬರನ್ನೂ, ತನ್ನ ಮಗ ಇಸಾಕನನ್ನೂ, ದಹನಬಲಿಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಕಟ್ಟಿಗೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು, ದೇವರು ತನಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದನು.
4 On the third day—Abraham lifts up his eyes, and sees the place from afar;
ಮೂರನೆಯ ದಿನ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು ಕಣ್ಣೆತ್ತಿ ನೋಡಿದಾಗ, ಆ ಸ್ಥಳವು ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಣಿಸಿತು.
5 and Abraham says to his young men, “Remain by yourselves here with the donkey, and I and the youth go over there and worship, and return to you.”
ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರಿಗೆ, “ಕತ್ತೆಯ ಸಂಗಡ ಇಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಇರಿ. ನಾನೂ, ಹುಡುಗನೂ ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ, ಆರಾಧನೆ ಮಾಡಿ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿ ಬರುತ್ತೇವೆ,” ಎಂದನು.
6 And Abraham takes the wood of the burnt-offering, and places on his son Isaac, and he takes in his hand the fire, and the knife; and they go on both of them together.
ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು ದಹನಬಲಿಗಳ ಕಟ್ಟಿಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು, ತನ್ನ ಮಗ ಇಸಾಕನ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೊರಿಸಿ; ಬೆಂಕಿಯನ್ನೂ, ಕತ್ತಿಯನ್ನೂ ತನ್ನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡನು. ಅವರಿಬ್ಬರೂ ಹೊರಟು ಹೋದರು.
7 And Isaac speaks to his father Abraham and says, “My father,” and he says, “Here I [am], my son.” And he says, “Behold, the fire and the wood, and where the lamb for a burnt-offering?”
ಇಸಾಕನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನಿಗೆ, “ಅಪ್ಪಾ,” ಎಂದನು. ಆಗ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು, “ಏನು ಮಗನೇ?” ಎಂದನು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವನು, “ಇಗೋ, ಬೆಂಕಿಯೂ, ಕಟ್ಟಿಗೆಯೂ ಇವೆ, ಆದರೆ ದಹನಬಲಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಕುರಿಮರಿಯು ಎಲ್ಲಿ?” ಎಂದನು.
8 And Abraham says, “God provides for Himself the lamb for a burnt-offering, my son”; and they go on both of them together.
ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು, “ನನ್ನ ಮಗನೇ, ದೇವರೇ ದಹನಬಲಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಕುರಿಮರಿಯನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸುವರು,” ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟನು. ಹೀಗೆ ಅವರಿಬ್ಬರೂ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋದರು.
9 And they come to the place of which God has spoken to him, and there Abraham builds the altar, and arranges the wood, and binds his son Isaac, and places him on the altar above the wood;
ದೇವರು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಾಗ, ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಬಲಿಪೀಠವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿ, ಕಟ್ಟಿಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಕ್ರಮವಾಗಿ ಜೋಡಿಸಿ, ತನ್ನ ಮಗ ಇಸಾಕನನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿ, ಬಲಿಪೀಠದ ಮೇಲೆ ಇದ್ದ ಕಟ್ಟಿಗೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಟ್ಟನು.
10 and Abraham puts forth his hand, and takes the knife—to slaughter his son.
ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು ಕೈಚಾಚಿ ತನ್ನ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಕತ್ತಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡನು.
11 And the Messenger of YHWH calls to him from the heavens and says, “Abraham, Abraham”; and he says, “Here I [am]”;
ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ದೂತನು ಆಕಾಶದೊಳಗಿಂದ, “ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನೇ, ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನೇ,” ಎಂದು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕರೆದನು. ಅವನು, “ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದೇನೆ,” ಎಂದನು.
12 and He says, “Do not put forth your hand to the youth, nor do anything to him, for now I have known that you are fearing God, and have not withheld your son, your only one, from Me.”
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ದೂತನು ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನಿಗೆ, “ಹುಡುಗನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೈ ಹಾಕಬೇಡ; ಅವನಿಗೆ ಏನೂ ಮಾಡಬೇಡ; ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನೀನು ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಡುತ್ತೀ ಎಂದು ಈಗ ನಾನು ತಿಳಿದಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಒಬ್ಬನೇ ಮಗನನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ಅರ್ಪಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿಂಜರಿಯಲಿಲ್ಲ,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
13 And Abraham lifts up his eyes, and looks, and behold, a ram behind, seized in a thicket by its horns; and Abraham goes, and takes the ram, and causes it to ascend for a burnt-offering instead of his son;
ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು ಕಣ್ಣೆತ್ತಿ ನೋಡಿದಾಗ, ಅವನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಒಂದು ಟಗರು ಕೊಂಬುಗಳಿಂದ ಪೊದೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿಕೊಂಡಿತ್ತು. ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು ಹೋಗಿ ಆ ಟಗರನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು, ಅದನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಮಗನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ದಹನಬಲಿಯಾಗಿ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದನು.
14 and Abraham calls the name of that place “YHWH-Jireh,” because it is said this day in the mountain, “YHWH provides.”
ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು ಆ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ಯೀರೆ ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟನು. “ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಪರ್ವತದ ಮೇಲೆ ಒದಗಿಸುವರು,” ಎಂದು ಇಂದಿನವರೆಗೂ ಜನರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.
15 And the Messenger of YHWH calls to Abraham a second time from the heavens,
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ದೂತನು ಆಕಾಶದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಎರಡನೆಯ ಸಾರಿ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನನ್ನು ಕರೆದು ಅವನಿಗೆ,
16 and says, “I have sworn by Myself—a declaration of YHWH—that because you have done this thing, and have not withheld your son, your only one,
“ನೀನು ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ, ನಿನ್ನ ಒಬ್ಬನೇ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಸಹ ನನಗೆ ಕೊಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿಂಜರಿಯದೆ ಇದ್ದುದರಿಂದ, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಾದ ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ಪ್ರಮಾಣವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುವುದೇನಂದರೆ,
17 that blessing I bless you, and multiplying I multiply your seed as stars of the heavens, and as sand which [is] on the seashore; and your Seed possesses the gate of His enemies;
ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸೇ ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸುವೆನು. ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂತಾನವನ್ನು ಆಕಾಶದ ನಕ್ಷತ್ರಗಳ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಸಮುದ್ರದ ತೀರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಮರಳಿನ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುವೆನು. ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂತಾನದವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಶತ್ರುಗಳ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನು ವಶಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು.
18 and all nations of the earth have blessed themselves in your Seed, because you have listened to My voice.”
ನೀನು ನನಗೆ ವಿಧೇಯನಾದದ್ದರಿಂದ, ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂತತಿಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಭೂಲೋಕದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಿಗೂ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದ ಉಂಟಾಗುವುದು,” ಎಂದರು.
19 And Abraham turns back to his young men, and they rise and go together to Beer-Sheba; and Abraham dwells in Beer-Sheba.
ತರುವಾಯ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿ ಬಂದನು. ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಬೇರ್ಷೆಬಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದರು. ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು ಬೇರ್ಷೆಬದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸಿದನು.
20 And it comes to pass after these things that it is declared to Abraham, saying, “Behold, Milcah has borne, even she, sons to your brother Nahor:
ಕೆಲ ಸಮಯದ ನಂತರ ಕೆಲವರು ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನಿಗೆ, “ಮಿಲ್ಕಾಳು ತಾಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾಳೆ. ನಿನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರ ನಾಹೋರನಿಗೆ ಅವಳು ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಹೆತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಳೆ,” ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
21 his firstborn Huz, and his brother Buz; and Kemuel father of Aram,
ಅವರು ಯಾರೆಂದರೆ, ಅವನ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲು ಮಗ ಊಚ್, ಅವನ ಸಹೋದರ ಬೂಜ್, ಅರಾಮನ ತಂದೆ ಕೆಮೂಯೇಲ್,
22 and Chesed, and Hazo, and Pildash, and Jidlaph, and Bethuel;
ಕೆಸೆದ್, ಹಜೋ, ಪಿಲ್ದಾಷ್, ಇದ್ಲಾಫ್, ಬೆತೂಯೇಲ್.
23 and Bethuel has begotten Rebekah”; Milcah has borne these eight to Nahor, Abraham’s brother;
ಬೆತೂಯೇಲನಿಂದ ರೆಬೆಕ್ಕಳು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದಳು. ಈ ಎಂಟು ಮಂದಿಯನ್ನು ಮಿಲ್ಕಾಳು ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನ ಸಹೋದರ ನಾಹೋರನಿಗೆ ಹೆತ್ತಳು.
24 and his concubine, whose name [is] Reumah, she also has borne Tebah, and Gaham, and Tahash, and Maachah.
ಅವನ ಉಪಪತ್ನಿ ರೂಮಳೆಂಬವಳು ಸಹ ಟೆಬಹ, ಗಹಮ, ತಹಷ, ಮಾಕಾ ಎಂಬುವರನ್ನು ಹೆತ್ತಳು.
