< Genesis 17 >
1 And Abram is a son of ninety-nine years, and YHWH appears to Abram, and says to him, “I [am] God Almighty, habitually walk before Me, and be perfect;
Naho ni-sivampolo taoñe sive’ amby t’i Avrame le niboak’ amy Avrame t’Iehovà nanao ama’e ty hoe, Izaho i El-Saday; mañaveloa añatrefako an-kalio-tahiñe,

4 “I—behold, My covenant [is] with you, and you have become father of a multitude of nations;
Naho izaho, inao, ty ifañinako ama’o: Ho rae’ ty foko maro irehe.
5 and your name is no longer called Abram, but your name has been Abraham, for father of a multitude of nations have I made you;
Le tsy hatao Avrame ka ty añara’o, fa Avrahame ty ho tahina’o amy te hanoeko raem-poko tsiefa.
6 and I have made you exceedingly fruitful, and made you become nations, and kings go out from you.

7 And I have established My covenant between Me and you, and your seed after you, throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant, to become God to you, and to your seed after you;

20 As for Ishmael, I have heard you; behold, I have blessed him, and made him fruitful, and multiplied him, very exceedingly; twelve princes does he beget, and I have made him become a great nation;
Le ty am’ Iesmaèle, fa tsinanoko irehe; ho tahieko naho hampiraoraoeko ho tsifotofoto o tarira’eo; hisamak’ ana-donake folo ro’ amby re vaho hanoeko foko ra’elahy.

25 and his son Ishmael [is] a son of thirteen years in the flesh of his foreskin being circumcised;
