Genesis 10
1 And these [are] the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth: and sons are born to them after the flood.
Estas son las generaciones de los hijos de Noé: Sem, Cam y Jafet, a los cuales nacieron hijos después del diluvio.
2 Sons of Japheth [are] Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.
Los hijos de Jafet: Gomer, y Magog, y Madai, y Javán, y Tubal, y Mesec, y Tiras.
3 And sons of Gomer [are] Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.
Y los hijos de Gomer: Askenaz, y Rifat, y Togarma.
4 And sons of Javan [are] Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.
Y los hijos de Javán: Elisa, y Tarsis, Quitim, y Dodanim.
5 By these the islands of the nations have been parted in their lands, each by his tongue, by their families, in their nations.
Por éstos fueron partidas las islas de los gentiles en sus tierras, cada cual según su lengua, conforme a sus familias en sus naciones.
6 And sons of Ham [are] Cush, and Mitzraim, and Phut, and Canaan.
Los hijos de Cam: Cus, y Mizraim, y Fut, y Canaán.
7 And sons of Cush [are] Seba, and Havilah, and Sabtah, and Raamah, and Sabtechah; and sons of Raamah [are] Sheba and Dedan.
Y los hijos de Cus: Seba, Havila, y Sabta, y Raama, y Sabteca. Y los hijos de Raama: Seba y Dedán.
8 And Cush has begotten Nimrod;
Y Cus engendró a Nimrod. Este comenzó a ser poderoso en la tierra.
9 he has begun to be a hero in the land; he has been a hero in hunting before YHWH; therefore it is said, “As Nimrod the hero [in] hunting before YHWH.”
Este fue poderoso cazador delante del SEÑOR; por lo cual se dice: Así como Nimrod poderoso cazador delante del SEÑOR.
10 And the first part of his kingdom is Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar;
Y fue la cabecera de su reino Babel, y Erec, y Acad, y Calne, en la tierra de Sinar.
11 from that land he has gone out to Asshur, and builds Nineveh, even the broad places of the city, and Calah,
De esta tierra salió Assur, el cual edificó a Nínive, y a Rehobot, y a Cala,
12 and Resen, between Nineveh and Calah; it [is] the great city.
Y a Resén entre Nínive y Cala; la cual es la ciudad grande.
13 And Mitzraim has begotten the Ludim, and the Anamim, and the Lehabim, and the Naphtuhim,
Y Mizraim engendró a Ludim, y a Anamim, y a Lehabim, y a Naftuhim,
14 and the Pathrusim, and the Casluhim (from where have come out Philistim), and the Caphtorim.
Y a Patrusim, y a Casluhim de donde salieron los filisteos, y a Caftorim.
15 And Canaan has begotten Sidon his firstborn, and Heth,
Y Canaán engendró a Sidón, su primogénito y a Het,
16 and the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite,
y a Jebusi, y a Amorri, y a Gergesi,
17 and the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,
y a Hevi, y a Arci, y a Sini,
18 and the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite; and afterward the families of the Canaanite have been scattered.
y a Aradi, y a Samari, y a Amati; y después se derramaron las familias de los cananeos.
19 And the border of the Canaanite is from Sidon, [in] your coming toward Gerar, to Gaza; [in] your coming toward Sodom, and Gomorrah, and Admah, and Zeboim, to Lasha.
Y fue el término de los cananeos desde Sidón, viniendo a Gerar hasta Gaza, hasta entrar en Sodoma y Gomorra, Adma, y Zeboim hasta Lasa.
20 These [are] sons of Ham, by their families, by their tongues, in their lands, in their nations.
Estos son los hijos de Cam por sus familias, por sus lenguas, en sus tierras, en sus naciones.
21 As for Shem, father of all sons of Eber, the older brother of Japheth, he has also begotten.
También le nacieron hijos a Sem, padre de todos los hijos de Heber, y hermano mayor de Jafet.
22 Sons of Shem [are] Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram.
Y los hijos de Sem: Elam, y Asur, y Arfaxad, y Lud, y Aram.
23 And sons of Aram [are] Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Mash.
Y los hijos de Aram: Uz, y Hul, y Geter, y Mas.
24 And Arphaxad has begotten Salah, and Salah has begotten Eber.
Y Arfaxad engendró a Sala, y Sala engendró a Heber.
25 And two sons have been born to Eber; the name of the first [is] Peleg (for in his days the earth has been divided), and his brother’s name [is] Joktan.
Y a Heber nacieron dos hijos: el nombre del uno fue Peleg, porque en sus días fue partida la tierra; y el nombre de su hermano, Joctán.
26 And Joktan has begotten Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,
Y Joctán engendró a Almodad, y a Selef, y Hazar-mavet, y a Jera,
27 and Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah,
y a Adoram, y a Uzal, y a Dicla,
28 and Obal, and Abimael, and Sheba,
y a Obal, y a Abimael, y a Seba,
29 and Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab; all these [are] sons of Joktan;
y a Ofir, y a Havila, y a Jobab: todos éstos fueron hijos de Joctán.
30 and their dwelling is from Mesha, [in] your coming toward Sephar, a mountain of the east.
Y fue su habitación desde Mesa viniendo de Sefar, monte de oriente.
31 These [are] sons of Shem, by their families, by their tongues, in their lands, by their nations.
Estos fueron los hijos de Sem por sus familias, por sus lenguas, en sus tierras, en sus naciones.
32 These [are] families of the sons of Noah, by their generations, in their nations, and by these the nations have been parted in the earth after the flood.
Estas son las familias de Noé por su descendencia, en sus naciones; y de éstas, fueron divididos los gentiles en la tierra después del diluvio.
