Genesis 10
1 And these [are] the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth: and sons are born to them after the flood.
೧ನೋಹನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಾದ ಶೇಮ್, ಹಾಮ್, ಯೆಫೆತ್ ಎಂಬುವವರ ಸಂತಾನದವರ ಚರಿತ್ರೆ: ಜಲಪ್ರಳಯದ ನಂತರ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದರು.
2 Sons of Japheth [are] Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.
೨ಯೆಫೆತನ ಸಂತಾನದವರು ಯಾರೆಂದರೆ - ಗೋಮೆರ್, ಮಾಗೋಗ್, ಮಾದಯ್, ಯಾವಾನ್, ತೂಬಲ್, ಮೆಷೆಕ್, ತೀರಾಸ್ ಎಂಬವರು.
3 And sons of Gomer [are] Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.
೩ಗೋಮೆರನ ಸಂತಾನದವರು - ಅಷ್ಕೆನಸ್, ರೀಫತ್, ತೋಗರ್ಮ ಎಂಬವರು.
4 And sons of Javan [are] Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.
೪ಯಾವಾನನ ಸಂತಾನದವರು - ಎಲೀಷಾ, ತಾರ್ಷೀಷ್, ಕಿತ್ತೀಮ್, ದೋದಾ ಎಂಬ ಸ್ಥಳದವರು. ಇವರು ಸಮುದ್ರದ ರೇವು ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹರಡಿಕೊಂಡರು.
5 By these the islands of the nations have been parted in their lands, each by his tongue, by their families, in their nations.
೫ದೇಶ, ಭಾಷೆ, ಕುಲ, ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಇವರೇ ಯೆಫೆತನ ವಂಶದವರು.
6 And sons of Ham [are] Cush, and Mitzraim, and Phut, and Canaan.
೬ಹಾಮನ ಸಂತಾನದವರು ಯಾರೆಂದರೆ - ಕೂಷ್, ಮಿಚ್ರಯಿಮ್, ಪೂತ್, ಕಾನಾನ್ ಎಂಬುವವರು.
7 And sons of Cush [are] Seba, and Havilah, and Sabtah, and Raamah, and Sabtechah; and sons of Raamah [are] Sheba and Dedan.
೭ಕೂಷನ ಸಂತಾನದವರು ಯಾರೆಂದರೆ - ಸೆಬಾ, ಹವೀಲ, ಸಬ್ತಾ, ರಗ್ಮ, ಸಬ್ತಕಾ ಎಂಬವರು. ರಗ್ಮ ಸಂತಾನದವರು - ಶೆಬಾ, ದೆದಾನ್ ಎಂಬುವವರು.
8 And Cush has begotten Nimrod;
೮ಕೂಷನು ನಿಮ್ರೋದನನ್ನು ಪಡೆದನು. ಅವನು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲಿನ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಶಾಲಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದನು.
9 he has begun to be a hero in the land; he has been a hero in hunting before YHWH; therefore it is said, “As Nimrod the hero [in] hunting before YHWH.”
೯ಯೆಹೋವನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ರೋದನು ದಿಟ್ಟ ಬೇಟೆಗಾರನಾಗಿದ್ದನು. ಆದುದರಿಂದ “ಯೆಹೋವನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ದಿಟ್ಟ ಬೇಟೆಗಾರನಾಗಿಸಲಿ” ಎಂಬ ಗಾದೆ ಇಂದಿನವರೆಗೂ ಹೇಳುವುದುಂಟು.
10 And the first part of his kingdom is Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar;
೧೦ಶಿನಾರ್ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಬಾಬೆಲ್, ಯೆರೆಕ್, ಅಕ್ಕದ್, ಕಲ್ನೇ ಎಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳೇ ಅವನ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಮೂಲ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳು.
11 from that land he has gone out to Asshur, and builds Nineveh, even the broad places of the city, and Calah,
೧೧ಅವನು ಆ ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ಅಶ್ಶೂರ್ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ನಿನೆವೆ, ರೆಹೋಬೋತೀರ್, ಕೆಲಹ ಎಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನೂ,
12 and Resen, between Nineveh and Calah; it [is] the great city.
೧೨ನಿನೆವೆಗೂ ಕೆಲಹಕ್ಕೂ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವ ರೆಸೆನ್ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನೂ ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದನು. ರೆಸೆನ್ ಮಹಾಪಟ್ಟಣವೆಂದು ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧವಾಗಿದೆ.
13 And Mitzraim has begotten the Ludim, and the Anamim, and the Lehabim, and the Naphtuhim,
೧೩ಮಿಚ್ರಯಿಮ್ಯರಿಂದ ಲೂದ್ಯರು, ಅನಾಮ್ಯರು, ಲೆಹಾಬ್ಯರು, ನಫ್ತುಹ್ಯರು, ಹುಟ್ಟಿದರು.
14 and the Pathrusim, and the Casluhim (from where have come out Philistim), and the Caphtorim.
೧೪ಪತ್ರುಸ್ಯರು, ಕಸ್ಲುಹ್ಯರು, ಕಫ್ತೋರ್ಯರು ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರಿಂದ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದರು.
15 And Canaan has begotten Sidon his firstborn, and Heth,
೧೫ಕಾನಾನ್ ವಂಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊದಲು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದವನು ಸೀದೋನ್; ಆ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೇತ್ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದನು.
16 and the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite,
೧೬ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಯೆಬೂಸಿಯರು, ಅಮೋರಿಯರು, ಗಿರ್ಗಾಷಿಯರು,
17 and the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,
೧೭ಹಿವ್ವಿಯರು, ಅರ್ಕಿಯರು, ಸೀನಿಯರು ಕಾನಾನನಿಂದ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದರು.
18 and the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite; and afterward the families of the Canaanite have been scattered.
೧೮ಕಾಲ ಕ್ರಮೇಣವಾಗಿ ಈ ಕಾನಾನ್ಯರ ವಂಶಸ್ಥರಾದ ಸೀನಿಯರು, ಅರ್ವಾದಿಯರು, ಚೆಮಾರಿಯರು, ಹದೋರಾಮರು, ಹಮಾತಿಯರು ಹರಡಿ ಕಾನಾನನಿಂದ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದರು.
19 And the border of the Canaanite is from Sidon, [in] your coming toward Gerar, to Gaza; [in] your coming toward Sodom, and Gomorrah, and Admah, and Zeboim, to Lasha.
೧೯ಕಾನಾನ್ಯರ ಸೀಮೆಯು ಸೀದೋನ್ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಿಂದ ಗೆರಾರಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುವ ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಗಾಜಾ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ವರೆಗೂ ಮತ್ತು ಸೊದೋಮ್, ಗೊಮೋರ, ಅದ್ಮಾ, ಚೆಬೋಯಿಮ್ ಎಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುವ ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಲೆಷಾ ಊರಿನವರೆಗೂ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ.
20 These [are] sons of Ham, by their families, by their tongues, in their lands, in their nations.
೨೦ಕುಲ, ಭಾಷೆ, ದೇಶ, ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಇವರೇ ಹಾಮನ ವಂಶದವರು.
21 As for Shem, father of all sons of Eber, the older brother of Japheth, he has also begotten.
೨೧ಇಬ್ರಿಯರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೆ ಮೂಲಪುರುಷನನೂ, ಯೆಫೆತನ ಅಣ್ಣನೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದ ಶೇಮನಿಗೂ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದರು.
22 Sons of Shem [are] Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram.
೨೨ಶೇಮನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು - ಏಲಾಮ್, ಅಶ್ಶೂರ್, ಅರ್ಪಕ್ಷದ್, ಲೂದ್, ಅರಾಮ್ ಎಂಬವರು.
23 And sons of Aram [are] Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Mash.
೨೩ಅರಾಮ್ ಸಂತಾನದವರು - ಊಸ್, ಹೂಲ್, ಗೆತೆರ್, ಮಷ್ ಎಂಬವರು.
24 And Arphaxad has begotten Salah, and Salah has begotten Eber.
೨೪ಅರ್ಪಕ್ಷದನಿಂದ ಶೆಲಹನೂ, ಶೆಲಹನಿಂದ ಎಬರನೂ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದನು.
25 And two sons have been born to Eber; the name of the first [is] Peleg (for in his days the earth has been divided), and his brother’s name [is] Joktan.
೨೫ಎಬರನಿಗೆ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದರು. ಒಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ಪೆಲೆಗೆಂಬ ಹೆಸರು; ಅವನ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಭೂಮಿಯು ವಿಭಾಗಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತ್ತು. ಅವನ ತಮ್ಮನ ಹೆಸರು ಯೊಕ್ತಾನ್.
26 And Joktan has begotten Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,
೨೬ಯೊಕ್ತಾನನ ಸಂತಾನದವರು - ಅಲ್ಮೋದಾದ್, ಶೆಲೆಪ್, ಹಚರ್ಮಾವೆತ್, ಯೆರಹ,
27 and Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah,
೨೭ಹದೋರಾಮ್, ಊಜಾಲ್, ದಿಕ್ಲಾ,
28 and Obal, and Abimael, and Sheba,
೨೮ಓಬಾಲ್, ಅಬೀಮಯೇಲ್, ಶೆಬಾ, ಓಫೀರ್, ಹವೀಲ, ಯೋಬಾಬ್ ಎಂಬವರು.
29 and Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab; all these [are] sons of Joktan;
೨೯ಹದೋರಾಮ್, ಊಜಾಲ್, ದಿಕ್ಲಾ, ಓಬಾಲ್, ಅಬೀಮಯೇಲ್, ಶೆಬಾ, ಓಫೀರ್, ಹವೀಲ, ಯೋಬಾಬ್ ಈ ಕುಲಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಯೊಕ್ತಾನನಿಂದ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದವು.
30 and their dwelling is from Mesha, [in] your coming toward Sephar, a mountain of the east.
೩೦ಇವರ ನಿವಾಸವು ಮೇಶಾ ಸೀಮೆ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಪೂರ್ವ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸೆಫಾರ್ ಎಂಬ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ವರೆಗೂ ಇತ್ತು.
31 These [are] sons of Shem, by their families, by their tongues, in their lands, by their nations.
೩೧ಕುಲ, ಭಾಷೆ, ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಇವರೇ ಶೇಮನ ವಂಶದವರು.
32 These [are] families of the sons of Noah, by their generations, in their nations, and by these the nations have been parted in the earth after the flood.
೩೨ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಸಂತತಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಇವರೇ ನೋಹನ ವಂಶದವರು. ಜಲಪ್ರಳಯವಾದ ನಂತರ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಹರಡಿಕೊಂಡ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳು ಇವರೇ.
