Genesis 10
1 And these [are] the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth: and sons are born to them after the flood.
ノアの子セム、ハム、ヤペテの傳は是なり洪水の後彼等に子等生れたり
2 Sons of Japheth [are] Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.
ヤペテの子はゴメル、マゴグ、マデア、ヤワン、トバル、メセク、テラスなり
3 And sons of Gomer [are] Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.
ゴメルの子はアシケナズ、リパテ、トガルマなり
4 And sons of Javan [are] Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.
ヤワンの子はエリシヤ、タルシシ、キツテムおよびドダニムなり
5 By these the islands of the nations have been parted in their lands, each by his tongue, by their families, in their nations.
是等より諸國の洲島の民は派分れ出て各其方言と其宗族と其邦國とに循ひて其地に住り
6 And sons of Ham [are] Cush, and Mitzraim, and Phut, and Canaan.
ハムの子はクシ、ミツライム、フテおよびカナンなり
7 And sons of Cush [are] Seba, and Havilah, and Sabtah, and Raamah, and Sabtechah; and sons of Raamah [are] Sheba and Dedan.
クシの子はセバ、ハビラ、サブタ、ラアマ、サブテカなりラアマの子はシバおよびデダンなり
8 And Cush has begotten Nimrod;
クシ、ニムロデを生り彼始めて世の權力ある者となれり
9 he has begun to be a hero in the land; he has been a hero in hunting before YHWH; therefore it is said, “As Nimrod the hero [in] hunting before YHWH.”
彼はヱホバの前にありて權力ある獵夫なりき是故にヱホバの前にある夫權力ある獵夫ニムロデの如しといふ諺あり
10 And the first part of his kingdom is Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar;
彼の國の起初はシナルの地のバベル、エレク、アツカデ、及びカルネなりき
11 from that land he has gone out to Asshur, and builds Nineveh, even the broad places of the city, and Calah,
其地より彼アッスリヤに出でニネベ、レホポテイリ、カラ
12 and Resen, between Nineveh and Calah; it [is] the great city.
およびニネベとカラの間なるレセンを建たり是は大なる城邑なり
13 And Mitzraim has begotten the Ludim, and the Anamim, and the Lehabim, and the Naphtuhim,
ミツライム、ルデ族アナミ族レハビ族ナフト族
14 and the Pathrusim, and the Casluhim (from where have come out Philistim), and the Caphtorim.
バテロス族カスル族およびカフトリ族を生りカスル族よりペリシテ族出たり
15 And Canaan has begotten Sidon his firstborn, and Heth,
カナン其冢子シドンおよびヘテ
16 and the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite,
エブス族アモリ族ギルガシ族
17 and the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,
ヒビ族アルキ族セニ族
18 and the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite; and afterward the families of the Canaanite have been scattered.
アルワデ族ゼマリ族ハマテ族を生り後に至りてカナン人の宗族蔓延りぬ
19 And the border of the Canaanite is from Sidon, [in] your coming toward Gerar, to Gaza; [in] your coming toward Sodom, and Gomorrah, and Admah, and Zeboim, to Lasha.
カナン人の境はシドンよりゲラルを經てガザに至りソドム、ゴモラ、アデマ、ゼボイムに沿てレシヤにまで及べり
20 These [are] sons of Ham, by their families, by their tongues, in their lands, in their nations.
是等はハムの子孫にして其宗族と其方言と其土地と其邦國に隨ひて居りぬ
21 As for Shem, father of all sons of Eber, the older brother of Japheth, he has also begotten.
セムはヱベルの全の子孫の先祖にしてヤペテの兄なり彼にも子女生れたり
22 Sons of Shem [are] Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram.
セムの子はエラム、アシユル、アルパクサデルデ、アラムなり
23 And sons of Aram [are] Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Mash.
アラムの子はウヅ、ホル、ゲテル、マシなり
24 And Arphaxad has begotten Salah, and Salah has begotten Eber.
アルパクサデ、シラを生みシラ、エベルを生り
25 And two sons have been born to Eber; the name of the first [is] Peleg (for in his days the earth has been divided), and his brother’s name [is] Joktan.
エベルに二人の子生れたり一人の名をペレグ(分れ)といふ其は彼の代に邦國分れたればなり其弟の名をヨクタンと曰ふ
26 And Joktan has begotten Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,
ヨクタン、アルモダデ、シヤレフ、ハザルマウテ、ヱラ
27 and Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah,
ハドラム、ウザル、デクラ
28 and Obal, and Abimael, and Sheba,
オバル、アビマエル、シバ
29 and Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab; all these [are] sons of Joktan;
オフル、ハビラおよびヨバブを生り是等は皆ヨクタンの子なり
30 and their dwelling is from Mesha, [in] your coming toward Sephar, a mountain of the east.
彼等の居住所はメシヤよりして東方の山セバルにまで至れり
31 These [are] sons of Shem, by their families, by their tongues, in their lands, by their nations.
是等はセムの子孫にして其宗族と其方言と其土地と其邦國とに隨ひて居りぬ
32 These [are] families of the sons of Noah, by their generations, in their nations, and by these the nations have been parted in the earth after the flood.
是等はノアの子の宗族にして其血統と其邦國に隨ひて居りぬ洪水の後是等より地の邦國の民は派分れ出たり
