< Galatians 5 >

1 In the freedom, then, with which Christ made you free—stand, and do not be held fast again by a yoke of servitude.
ulwakuva uKilisite alyatupelile uvwelu neke tuuve nu vwelu. lini mwime mu lukangafu kange namungakolwaghe kuva vavombi.
2 Behold! I, Paul, say to you, that if you are [to be] circumcised, Christ will profit you nothing;
lola une ne Paulo, nikuvavula kuuti ndeve mulikekua, uKilisite nailikuvwagha uvufumbue ku sila jojoni.
3 and I testify again to every man circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law;
kange, nikumwagha umughosi ghweni juno akekilue kuuti anoghiile kuvomba ku ndaghilo joni.
4 you were voided from the Christ, you who are declared righteous in law; you fell away from grace;
vala vooni vano vivalilua ikyang'haani mu ndaghilo, muvikilue kutali nu Kilisite, mughwile kutali nu vumosi.
5 for we by the Spirit, by faith, wait for a hope of righteousness,
lwakuva ku sila ja Mhepo ku lwitiko tughula ulukangasio lwa kyang'haani.
6 for in Christ Jesus neither circumcision avails anything, nor uncircumcision, but faith working through love.
kwa Kilisite Yesu kukekua nambe kisila kukekua kusila luvumbulilo lwolwoni lwe lwitiko lwene luno luvomba imbombo kukilila ulughano luno luleta uluvumbulilo.
7 You were running well; who hindered you [so as] not to obey the truth?
mukale mukimbila vunono, veeni juno akavasighile kuleka kukujitikila ilweli?
8 The persuasion [is] not of Him who is calling you!
uvusyangi vya kuvomba ndikio navuhuma kwa mwene juno alyavakemhelile umue.
9 A little leaven leavens the whole lump;
ikilule kidebe kinangania i nonge jooni.
10 I have confidence in regard to you in the LORD that you will not be otherwise minded; and he who is troubling you will bear the judgment, whoever he may be.
nili nu luhuvilo numue mwa Mutwa kuuti namusagha ku sila ijinge jojoni, nu mwene juno ikuvasyanga ilihighua mwene.
11 And I, brothers, if I still preach circumcision, why am I still persecuted? Then the stumbling-block of the Cross has been done away [with];
vanyalukolo ndeve nighendelea kupulisia itohala, kiki nifipumhuka? mu ulio kila kino kye kisighi kya kikovekano kilinangisivua.
12 O that even they would cut themselves off who are unsettling you!
lwe lunoghelua lwango kuuva vala vano vikuvalongosia fivi fikujisyanga vavuo.
13 For you were called to freedom, brothers, only the freedom [is] not for an occasion to the flesh, but serve one another through the love,
uNguluve avakemhelile umue vanyalukolo ku vwelu. neke namungatumilaghe uvweru vwinu hwene kyuma kya m'bili. pe pano ku lughano mutanganaghe jumue kwa jumue.
14 for all the Law is fulfilled in one word—in this: “You will love your neighbor as yourself”;
ulwakuva indaghilo joni jikamilike ku ndaghilo jimo; jope je “unoghile kukumughana juno ulipipi naghwo ndavule juve.
15 and if you bite and devour one another, see that you may not be consumed by one another.
neke ndeve mubudala na kulisana, mujilolelelaghe kuuti namungajinanganiaghe jumue kwa jumue.
16 And I say, walk in the Spirit, and you may not fulfill the desire of the flesh;
niti, mughendaghe mwa Mhepo, namulivomba isa mubili.
17 for the flesh desires contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit contrary to the flesh, and these are opposed to one another, that the things that you may will—these you may not do;
ulwakuva um'bili ghuli ni noghelua ing'ome kukila inumbula, ni numbula jili ni noghelua in'gome kukila um'bili. isi ssoni sipingana, amahumile ghake kwe kuuti namuvomba ifinu fino munoghelua kuvomba.
18 and if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law.
neke ndeve uMhepo ikuvalongosia umue, namuli mundaghilo.
19 And the works of the flesh are also evident, which are: adultery, whoredom, uncleanness, licentiousness,
lino amaghendee gha mbili ghivoneka. ghope uvuvwafu, uvulamafu,
20 idolatry, witchcraft, enmities, strife, jealousy, wraths, rivalries, dissensions, sects,
ulufunyo lwa kihwanikisio, uvuhavi, uvulugu, ilibaatu, ni mbedo, kuva ni lyojo, kusindana, ing'aning'ano,
21 envyings, murders, drunkenness, reveling, and such like, of which I tell you before, as I also said before, that those doing such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God.
kiltule, vuhasi, vulia kyongo, ni singi sino sihwanine nisio. nikuvavunga umue ndavele nilyavavungule mu vutengulilo, kuuti voni vanovivomba isio navilikuvwagha uvutwa vwa Nguluve.
22 And the fruit of the Spirit is: love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith,
neke ulughano lwa Mhepo lwe lughano. kuhovoka, ulutengano ulugudo,
23 meekness, [and] self-control. Against such there is no law;
uvukoola uvumuunu uvunofu, ulwitiko, uvukoola, nu vudebe, kusila ndaghilo mu ndavule isio.
24 and those who are of Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with the affections and the desires;
vala vano va Kilisite Yesu vaghupumwisie um'bili palikimo ni noghelua saae imbivi.
25 if we may live in the Spirit, we may also walk in the Spirit;
ndeve tukukala kwa Mhepo, kange tughendaghe kwa Mhepo.
26 let us not become vainglorious—provoking one another, envying one another!
natungavisaghe na kukughinia, natungahovesanaghe nambe kuvonelanila kitule.
