< Galatians 5 >

1 In the freedom, then, with which Christ made you free—stand, and do not be held fast again by a yoke of servitude.
Kristo achisulumuye koleleki eswe chibhe bhebhule. Mbe kutyo, nimukomele musige kubhoywa lindi mubhugaya.
2 Behold! I, Paul, say to you, that if you are [to be] circumcised, Christ will profit you nothing;
Lola, anye Paulo, enibhabhwila ati emwe mukasalwa, Kristo atakubhongeshako chinu kwa injila yona yona iliya.
3 and I testify again to every man circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law;
Ona, enimubhwila bhuli mulume unu asalilwe ati kendibhwa agumishe ebhilagilo bhyone.
4 you were voided from the Christ, you who are declared righteous in law; you fell away from grace;
Muli alela na Kristo, emwe bhanu “omwenda okuyanwa obhulengelesi” mu bhilagilo. Muguye okusoka mu chigongo.
5 for we by the Spirit, by faith, wait for a hope of righteousness,
Okubha eswe kubhwo Mwoyo, no kwikilisha echilindilila okwiikanya kwo bhulengelesi.
6 for in Christ Jesus neither circumcision avails anything, nor uncircumcision, but faith working through love.
Okubha mu Kristo Yesu okusalwa kutana nsonga yona yona. Ni kwikilisha kunu okukola emilimu mu kwenda.
7 You were running well; who hindered you [so as] not to obey the truth?
Mwaliga nimubhilima kisi. Niga unu abhaganyishe musige okungwa ebhye chimali?
8 The persuasion [is] not of Him who is calling you!
Obhukongya obhwo bhutasokele kwoyo abhabhilikiye emwe.
9 A little leaven leavens the whole lump;
Echifwimbya chitoto echifwimbya litonge lyona.
10 I have confidence in regard to you in the LORD that you will not be otherwise minded; and he who is troubling you will bear the judgment, whoever he may be.
Nili no bhwiikanya nemwe ku Latabhugenyi ati mutalibha no kwiganilisha kwa injila yona yona. Munu wone wone unu kabhanyasha niwe aligega intambala yeye mwenene, wone wone uliya.
11 And I, brothers, if I still preach circumcision, why am I still persecuted? Then the stumbling-block of the Cross has been done away [with];
Bhaili, labha anye enigendelela okwiigisha omusango gwo kusalwa, ni kulwaki nichanyasibhwa? Mbe kwo musango ogwo chinu chili chikujulo cho musalabha echinyamulwa.
12 O that even they would cut themselves off who are unsettling you!
Bhanu abhabhetimatya kubheile bhabhasokemo bheyaule.
13 For you were called to freedom, brothers, only the freedom [is] not for an occasion to the flesh, but serve one another through the love,
Nyamuanga abhabhilikiye emwe, bhaili, mubhe ne chibhule. Nawe echibhule chemwe chisigega okukolela omubhili. Nawe mu kwendana mukolanilega emwe abhenela.
14 for all the Law is fulfilled in one word—in this: “You will love your neighbor as yourself”;
Kwo kubha ebhilagilo bhyone ebhikumilila mu musango gumwi; nigwo gunu “Omwende omwikashanya wao lwa kutyo owiyenda awe mwenene.”
15 and if you bite and devour one another, see that you may not be consumed by one another.
Nawe labha mukalumana no kulyana, mwangalile mutaja kumalana emwe kwemwe.
16 And I say, walk in the Spirit, and you may not fulfill the desire of the flesh;
Enaika ati, mulibhatilega mu mwoyo, musigega kukumisha okuligila kwo mubhili.
17 for the flesh desires contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit contrary to the flesh, and these are opposed to one another, that the things that you may will—these you may not do;
Kwo kubha omubhili oguligila nigulwana no Mwoyo, no Mwoyo okuligila nigulwana no mubhili. Okubha ebhyo ebhilwana bhuli umwi no undi. Omusingwa okukola bhinu omwenda.
18 and if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law.
Nawe labha mukatangasibhwa no Mwoyo, mutakutungwa ne bhilagilo.
19 And the works of the flesh are also evident, which are: adultery, whoredom, uncleanness, licentiousness,
Mbe oli ebhikolwa bhyo mubhili bhili abhwelu. Nibhyo bhinu obhulomesi, obhujabhi, lungwe,
20 idolatry, witchcraft, enmities, strife, jealousy, wraths, rivalries, dissensions, sects,
okulamya ebhisusano, okuloga, obhusoko, inyombo, lifuwa, lisungu, olwango, isolole, okwitemyako,
21 envyings, murders, drunkenness, reveling, and such like, of which I tell you before, as I also said before, that those doing such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God.
olwiso, obhutamiji, obhululu na bhinu bhili lwebhyo. Kwibhyo enibhabhwila ati, bhanu abhakola ebhyejabho ebhyo bhatalingila mu bhukama bhwa Nyamuanga.
22 And the fruit of the Spirit is: love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith,
Nawe amatwasho go Mwoyo ni ganu okwenda, okukondelelwa, omulembe, okwigumilisha, obhwila, obhufula, elikilisha,
23 meekness, [and] self-control. Against such there is no law;
obhwololo, no kwibhalilila. Kwibhyo bhitalio bhilagilo.
24 and those who are of Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with the affections and the desires;
Abho bhali bha Kristo Yesu bhabhambile omubhili ku musalabha amwi no kuligila okubhibhi na inamba.
25 if we may live in the Spirit, we may also walk in the Spirit;
Labha chikabha bhaanga kubhwo Mwoyo, mbe chilibhatega kubhwo Mwoyo.
26 let us not become vainglorious—provoking one another, envying one another!
Chisigega okwilata, chisige okwisambya bhuli umwi no wejabho, nolwo okwilolela olwiso.
