< Galatians 2 >

1 Then after fourteen years again I went up to Jerusalem with Barnabas, having also taken Titus with me;
Mpopalapita byaka likumi ne bina ndalabwelela ku Yelusalemu pamo ne Banabasi kayi ne Tito.
2 and I went up by revelation, and submitted the good news to them that I preach among the nations, and privately to those esteemed, lest I ran or might run in vain;
Ndalabwelelako cebo cakwambeti Lesa walandesheti ndelela kuya. Pamubungano wa batangunishi wa palubasu ndalapandulula Mulumbe Waina ngonkute kukambaukila bamishobo naimbi, ndalenseco pakwinga nkandalikuyandeti mulimo wakame ngondenshinga pacindi cino nambi ngondalensa kumasuba akunyuma ube wabulyo sobwe.
3 but not even Titus, who [is] with me, being a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised—
Weco muname Tito necikabeti walikuba mu Giliki nkalakakatishiweti apalulwe sobwe.
4 and [that] because of the false brothers brought in unaware, who came in secretly to spy out our liberty that we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us under bondage,
Nambi kwalikuba nabambi bantu balikuyandeti apalulwe. Aba bantu balesa kababoneketi banse. Nsombi balesa kwena mubushishi kwambeti babone kusunguluka kwetu mukwikatana ne Klistu. Balikuyanda kutusanduleti tube basha,
5 to whom not even for an hour we gave place by subjection, that the truth of the good news might remain to you.
nsombi tuliya kubanyumfwilapo nambi kwakacindi kang'anowa, pakwinga twalikuyanda kumubambila kwesulila kwancinencine kwa Mulumbe Waina.
6 And from those who were esteemed to be something—whatever they were then, it makes no difference to me. God does not accept the face of man, for to me those esteemed added nothing,
Nomba kwamba sha basa mbobali kwambeti ebatangunishi, nkandicinshi na balikuba batangunishi nambi sobwe, ame ndiya naco ncito. Lesa nkakute kulanga kunsa sobwe, batangunishi aba nkabalampapo mano sobwe.
7 but on the contrary, having seen that I have been entrusted with the good news of the uncircumcision, as Peter with [that] of the circumcision,
Necikabeco balabona kwambeti Lesa walampa mulimo wa kukambauka Mulumbe Waina kubantu bamishobo naimbi mbuli Petulo ncalapewa mulimo wa kukambaukila Bayuda.
8 for He who worked with Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision, worked also in me in regard to the nations,
Pakwinga Lesa epeloyo walatuma Petulo mutumwa kuli Bayuda, ewalampa ncito pakuntuma ku bantu bamishobo naimbi.
9 and having known the grace that was given to me, James, and Cephas, and John, who were esteemed to be pillars, they gave to me a right hand of fellowship, and to Barnabas, that we may go to the nations, and they to the circumcision,
Lino Jemusi ne Petulo kayi ne Yohane, aba ebalikuboneketi batangunishi mumubungano, balikwinsheti Lesa ewalampa ncito yapalubasu iyi. Neco balatupa mitende ame ne Banabasi mwakwikatana makasa, kulesha kwambeti tobamo. Neco twalasuminishanya kwambeti ame ne Banabasi nitusebenselenga kubantu bamishobo naimbi nabo basebenselenga pakati pa Bayuda.
10 only, that we should be mindful of the poor, which I also was diligent—this very thing—to do.
Nomba balatusenga kwambeti katutaleka kuyeyelako bapenshi bali pakati pabo. Ici ecintu ncendayandangeti nyinse ne moyo wonse.
11 And when Peter came to Antioch, I stood up against him to the face, because he was blameworthy,
Lino pacindi Petulo mpwalesa ku Antiyokeya ndalamutoteka pamenso abantu pakwinga walikuba walubila.
12 for before the coming of some from James, he was eating with the nations, and when they came, he was withdrawing and separating himself, fearing those of circumcision,
Pakwinga kabatana bashika bantu mbwalatuma Jemusi, Petulo walikalya ne baklistu ba mishobo naimbi, nsombi abo mpobalashika walacileka kulya nabo baklistu bamishobo naimbi, pakwinga walikutina baklistu ba Ciyuda abo balikuyandeti baklistu bamishobo naimbi bela kupalulwa.
13 and the other Jews acted hypocritically with him, so that Barnabas was also carried away by their hypocrisy.
Kayi nabambi baklistu ba Ciyuda naboyo balatatika kwinsa bintu byabula kwelela bya kwena pamo ne Petulo, neye Banabasi walawila kulubasu lwaba bantu balikwinsa bintu bya mushoboyu.
14 But when I saw that they are not walking uprightly to the truth of the good news, I said to Peter before all, “If you, being a Jew, live in the manner of the nations, and not in the manner of the Jews, how do you compel the nations to live like Jews?
Lino mpondalabona kwambeti nabo nkabalenshinga cakubinga kwelana ne calembwa mu Mulumbe Waina, ndalambila Petulo pamenso abantu bonse kwambeti, “Omuyuda obe, nsombi ulekalangeti muntu wamushobo umbi, eti ntobe Muyuda sobwe. Lino ngokakatisheconi bantu bamishobo naimbi kwambeti bekalengeti Bayuda?”
15 We by nature Jews, and not sinners of the nations,
Cakubinga njafwe Bayuda kukusemwa, kutambeti bantu bamishobo naimbi basa bakute kwambweti nibepishi.
16 having also known that a man is not declared righteous by works of law, but through faith from Jesus Christ, we also believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be declared righteous by faith from Christ, and not by works of law, because no flesh will be declared righteous by works of law.”
Neco tucinsheti muntu ukute kululamikwa ne Lesa kupitila mukushoma Yesu Klistu, kwakubula kukonka Milawo ncoilandanga. Nenjafwe twalashoma muli Klistu Yesu kwambeti tulamikiwe pamenso a Lesa, kwakubula kukonka Milawo ncoilayandanga. Pakwinga paliya muntu welela kululamikiwa ne Lesa cebo ca kukonkela Milawo.
17 And if, seeking to be declared righteous in Christ, we were also ourselves found sinners, [is] Christ then a servant of sin? Let it not be!
Nomba lino na afwe pakwelesha kuba balulama pamenso a Lesa mwakwikatana ne Yesu Klistu, tucaniketi tobeshi bwipishi eti bantu bamishobo naimbi, sena lino ekwambeti Klistu elalengeshengeti bantu basebenselenga bwipishi? Sobwe nambi pang'ana.
18 For if the things I threw down, these again I build up, I set myself forth [as] a transgressor;
Lino na ntatika kwibaka pa bintu bya milawo ya Mose njendalapwaya kendi, ekwambeti ngancanika ne mulandu.
19 for I died through law that I may live to God;
Milawo eyalandesha kwambeti ndelela kufwa, neco ndalafwa kwambeti mfumemo mubwendeleshi bwa mulawo ne kwambeti buyumi bwakame bonse ndelela kusebensela Lesa.
20 I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me; and that which I now live in the flesh—I live in the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me;
Ndalapopwa pamo ne Klistu palusanda. Neco buyumi ubu mbonkute ntebo bwakame, nsombi ni Klistu uyo wekala mulinjame. Buyumi ubu buli mulinjame, ndemuyumi kupitila mu lushomo muli Mwanendi Lesa uyo walansuna kayi walayaba buyumi bwakendi pacebo ca njame.
21 I do not make the grace of God void, for if righteousness [is] through law—then Christ died in vain.
Nkandakananga kwina moyo kwa Lesa. Nomba na muntu ululamikwa ne Lesa pakukonkela Milawo ekwambeti Klistu walafwila pabula.
