< Galatians 2 >

1 Then after fourteen years again I went up to Jerusalem with Barnabas, having also taken Titus with me;
Payipititi mivinja lilongu na msheshi, ng'enditi kayi Yerusalemu pamuhera na Barinaba na numtoliti Titu.
2 and I went up by revelation, and submitted the good news to them that I preach among the nations, and privately to those esteemed, lest I ran or might run in vain;
Ng'enditi aku toziya Mlungu kang'ubutuliriti kuwera ng'endi, nukawagambiri gweka yawu walii yawaweriti walongoziya, ujumbi wa Shisoweru Shiwagira shanushibweriti kwa wantu yawawera ndiri Wayawudi. Ntenditi hangu su lihengu lyaneni lyantenditi na lilii lyantenda vinu, naliwera lyahera mota.
3 but not even Titus, who [is] with me, being a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised—
Kumbiti ata myangu Titu, yomberi kaweriti Mgiriki, kafiritwi ndiri kwingiziwa jandu handa lilangaliru kuwera mweni kapakati pa wantu wa Mlungu,
4 and [that] because of the false brothers brought in unaware, who came in secretly to spy out our liberty that we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us under bondage,
shitwatira ashi shilawira toziya wantu yawalitenditi gambira walongu yawamjimira Kristu, yawaliyingiziyiti kwa bada pakati pa twenga nolanola ulekeziwu watuwera nawu mukulikolerana pamuhera na Kristu Yesu, su wapati kututenda tulikali makaliru ga umanda.
5 to whom not even for an hour we gave place by subjection, that the truth of the good news might remain to you.
Twenga nakamu tujimilirana ndiri nawomberi, su unakaka wa Shisoweru Shiwagira wendereyi kusigala kwa mwenga.
6 And from those who were esteemed to be something—whatever they were then, it makes no difference to me. God does not accept the face of man, for to me those esteemed added nothing,
Wantu walii yawapananitwi ligoya kuwera walongoziya, wanongoleriti ndiri shintu sha syayi muwujumbi waneni. Na payiwera womberi waweriti walongoziya ama ndala, kwaneni shintu ndiri toziya Mlungu kahera upendelewu.
7 but on the contrary, having seen that I have been entrusted with the good news of the uncircumcision, as Peter with [that] of the circumcision,
Badala yakuwi, womberi wavimaniti kuwera Mlungu kanagaliriti kushibwera Shisoweru Shiwagira kwa wantu yawawera ndiri Wayawudi gambira Peteru ntambu yakalagaliritwi kushibwera Shisoweru Shiwagira kwa Wayawudi.
8 for He who worked with Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision, worked also in me in regard to the nations,
Toziya ulii yakamtenditi Peteru kuwera ntumintumi kwa Wayawudi ndo ulaa yakantenditi neni kuwera ntumintumi kwa wantu yawawera ndiri Wayawudi.
9 and having known the grace that was given to me, James, and Cephas, and John, who were esteemed to be pillars, they gave to me a right hand of fellowship, and to Barnabas, that we may go to the nations, and they to the circumcision,
10 only, that we should be mindful of the poor, which I also was diligent—this very thing—to do.
Womberi waturuwiti shintu shimu hera kuwera twendereyi kuwatanga wahushu, shitwatira shilaa shilii moyu gwangu gufira kushitenda.
11 And when Peter came to Antioch, I stood up against him to the face, because he was blameworthy,
Kumbiti Kefa pakasokiti Antiokiya, numgambiriti pota kufifa kulongolu kwa wantu toziya yomberi paweru katenditi likosa.
12 for before the coming of some from James, he was eating with the nations, and when they came, he was withdrawing and separating himself, fearing those of circumcision,
Pamberi pa wantu wamu yawalawiti kwa Yakobu hawenisoki palii, Kefa kaweriti kankuliya pamuhera na wantu yawawera ndiri Wayawudi. Kumbiti pawasokiti wantu walii, Kefa kalekiti nakamu kuliya pamuhera na wantu yawawera ndiri Wayawudi kwa kuwatira wantu walii yawasisitiza kwingiziwa jandu.
13 and the other Jews acted hypocritically with him, so that Barnabas was also carried away by their hypocrisy.
Viraa walongu wamonga Wayawudi walikoleriti pamuhera na Kefa kwa ufyangu wakuwi, ata Barinaba kapotuziwitwi muufyangu wawu.
14 But when I saw that they are not walking uprightly to the truth of the good news, I said to Peter before all, “If you, being a Jew, live in the manner of the nations, and not in the manner of the Jews, how do you compel the nations to live like Jews?
Neni pamoniti kuwera matendu gawu galinganira ndiri na unakaka wa Shisoweru Shiwagira, numgambiriti Kefa kulongolu kwa wantu woseri, “Tembera gwenga ndo Myawudi, gulikala ndiri gambira Wayawudi kumbiti gulikala gambira wantu yawawera ndiri Wayawudi! Gwenga guweza hashi kuwatenda wantu yawawera ndiri Wayawudi wajimiri kulikala gambira Wayawudi?”
15 We by nature Jews, and not sinners of the nations,
Twenga twa Wayawudi kwa kwiwuka, twenga twawantu ndiri yawawera ndiri Wayawudi, wantu yawashemwa wawera na vidoda.
16 having also known that a man is not declared righteous by works of law, but through faith from Jesus Christ, we also believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be declared righteous by faith from Christ, and not by works of law, because no flesh will be declared righteous by works of law.”
Kumbiti tuvimana kuwera muntu hapeni kawalangwi kuwera kahera hatiya kwa kugajimira Malagaliru Mlungu gakamupananiti Musa, kumbiti kwa kumjimira Yesu Kristu hera. Twenga viraa tumjimira Kristu Yesu su tupati kuwalangwa twahera hatiya kupitira njimiru yetu kwa Kristu, toziya ndiri kwa matendu ga Malagaliru aga. Toziya kwahera muntu yoseri yakawalangwa kahera hatiya kwa Malagaliru Mlungu gakamupananiti Musa.
17 And if, seeking to be declared righteous in Christ, we were also ourselves found sinners, [is] Christ then a servant of sin? Let it not be!
Kumbiti handa twankusakula kuwalangwa tumfiriziyi Mlungu kwa kulikolerana pamuhera na Kristu na twenga tuwoneka twankali twana vidoda, hashi, shitwatira ashi shiwera na mana kuwera Kristu kawera ntumintumi gwa vidoda? Ndala nakamu!
18 For if the things I threw down, these again I build up, I set myself forth [as] a transgressor;
Payiwera neni nankunyawa kayi shilaa shilii shambomuliti, su nulilanguziya kuwera neni ndo yankosa.
19 for I died through law that I may live to God;
Kuusu Lilagaliru Mlungu lyakamupananiti Musa, neni howiti, Lilagaliru lyeni linagiti, su nulikali toziya ya Mlungu. Neni wera handa mpingikitwi pamuhera na Kristu.
20 I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me; and that which I now live in the flesh—I live in the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me;
Vinu nankulikala, kumbiti neni ndiri kayi yanulikala, Kristu kalikala mngati mwa neni. Makaliru aga ganulikala vinu munshimba, nulikala kwa njimiru, njimiru mu Mwana gwa Mlungu yakanfiriti na kawulaviyiti ukomu wakuwi toziya ya neni.
21 I do not make the grace of God void, for if righteousness [is] through law—then Christ died in vain.
Nfira ndiri kugalema manemu ga Mlungu. Kumbiti handa muntu kawalangwa kawera muheri kulongolu kwa Mlungu kwa njira ya Malagaliru Mlungu gakamupananiti Musa, su kuhowa kwa Kristu kwahera shintu.
