1 And after these things, in the reign of Artaxerxes king of Persia, Ezra son of Seraiah, son of Azariah, son of Hilkiah,

6 Ezra himself has come up from Babylon, and he [is] a scribe ready in the Law of Moses, that YHWH God of Israel gave, and the king gives to him—according to the hand of his God YHWH on him—all his request.

Le zao ty dika-hamban-taratasy natolo’ i Artaksastà mpanjaka amy Ezra mpisoroñe, mpanokitse, toe nanokitse ty tsara’ o lili’ Iehovào naho fañè’eo ho a Israeley:
12 “Artaxerxes, king of kings, to Ezra the priest, a perfect scribe of the Law of the God of the heavens, and at such a time:

17 therefore you speedily buy with this money, bullocks, rams, lambs, and their presents, and their drink-offerings, and bring them near to the altar of the house of your God that [is] in Jerusalem,
aa le ho vilie’o an-kahimbañañe amy volay o baniao, o añondrilahio, o vik’añondrio, mindre amo enga-mahakama’eo naho o enga-rano’eo ie hisoroña’o amy kitrelin’ Anjomban’ Añahare’ areo e Ierosalaimey.
18 and that which to you and to your brothers is good to do with the rest of the silver and gold, according to the will of your God you do.
Le ze atao’o naho o rahalahi’o ho soa anoeñe ami’ty sisa’ i volafoty naho volamenay; le ano ty amy satrin’ arofon’ Añahare’ areo.
19 And the vessels that are given to you, for the service of the house of your God, make perfect before the God of Jerusalem;
Natolotse azo ho amy fitoroñañe i anjomban’ Añahare’oy ka o fanakeo, aseseo añatrefan’ Añahare’ Ierosalaime ao.
20 and the rest of the necessary things of the house of your God, that it falls to you to give, you give from the treasure-house of the king.
Aa ze tovo’e ho paiañe amy anjomban’ Añahare’oy, ze oni’o te azo tolorañe, le itoloro boak’ an-trañom-panontonam-baram-panjaka ao.
21 And by me—I Artaxerxes the king—is made a decree to all treasurers who [are] beyond the river, that all that Ezra the priest, scribe of the Law of the God of the heavens, asks of you, be done speedily:
Le izaho, eka izaho Artaksastà mpanjaka, ty mitsey amy ze hene mpamandrom-bara alafe’ i Sakay añe, te ze paia’ i Ezrà mpisoroñe, mpanoki-dilin’ Añaharen-dindiñey ama’ areo, le hanoeñe an-kahimbañañe,
22 To silver one hundred talents, and to wheat one hundred cors, and to wine one hundred baths, and to oil one hundred baths, and salt without reckoning;
pak’ ami’ ty volafoty zato talenta naho ty vare-bolè zato kore naho ty divay zato bate naho ty menake zato bate vaho ty sira tsy amañ-iake.
23 all that [is] by the decree of the God of the heavens, let be done diligently for the house of the God of the heavens; for why is there wrath against the kingdom of the king and his sons?
Ze lilie’ i Andrianañaharen-dikerañey, le ano am-pilozohañe amy anjomban’ Añaharen-dindiñey, soa tsy ho an-kaviñerañe ty fifehea’ i mpanjakay naho o ana’eo.
24 And to you we are making known, that on any of the priests and Levites, singers, gatekeepers, Nethinim, and servants of the house of God, tribute and custom there is no authority to lift up.
Le afantok’ ama’ areo ty amo mpisoroñeo naho o nte-Levio, o mpisaboo, o mpañambeñeo, o mpitoroñeo naho o mpitoloñ’ añ’ anjomban’ Añahareo, te faly ty ipaiañe rorotse, ndra fondro ndra haba.
25 And you, Ezra, according to the wisdom of your God, that [is] in your hand, appoint magistrates—even judges who may be judging—judging all the people who are beyond the river, to all knowing the Law of your God, and he who has not known, you cause to know;
Aa Ihe Ezrà, ty amy hihin’ Añahare’o am-pità’oy, le ampijadoño mpandily naho mpizaka, hahafizaka ondaty alafe’ i sakay añe iabio, ze hene mahafohiñe o lilin’ Añahare’oo; le anaro ze mboe tsy mahafohiñe.
26 and any who does not do the Law of your God, and the law of the king, judgment is done speedily on him, whether to death, or to banishment, or to confiscation of riches, and to bonds.”
Le ze tsy mete mañorike o lilin’ Añahare’oo naho ty lilim-panjaka, le afetsaho ama’e aniany ty zaka, ke t’ie havetrake, he hasese, hera hañafahañe vara, ke harohy.
27 Blessed [is] YHWH, God of our fathers, who has given such a thing as this in the heart of the king, to beautify the house of YHWH that [is] in Jerusalem,
Andriañeñe t’Iehovà Andrianañaharen-droaentikañe, te najo’e añ’arofo’ i mpanjakay, hampisomontie’e ty anjomba’ Iehovà e Ierosalaime ao;
28 and to me has stretched out kindness before the king and his counselors, and before all the mighty heads of the king: and I have strengthened myself as the hand of my God YHWH [is] on me, and I gather out of Israel heads to go up with me.
vaho nañitrike fiferenaiñañe amako añ’ atrefa’ i mpanjakay naho o mpanolo-keve’eo naho o roandriañe fatratse iabio. Le nampaozatse ahy te tamako ty fità’ Iehovà Andrianañahareko vaho namoriako mpiaolo ondaty boak’ Israele ao hitraok’ amako hionjoñe mb’eo.
