Ezra 6
1 Then Darius the king made a decree, and they sought in the house of the scrolls of the treasuries placed there in Babylon,
௧அப்பொழுது ராஜாவாகிய தரியு இட்ட கட்டளையின்படியே பாபிலோன் கஜானாவிலுள்ள பத்திர அறையை சோதித்தார்கள்.
2 and there has been found at Achmetha, in a palace that [is] in the province of Media, a scroll, and a record thus written within it [is]:
௨மேதிய நாட்டிலிருக்கிற அக்மேதா பட்டணத்தின் அரண்மனையிலே ஒரு சுருள் கிடைத்தது; அதிலே எழுதியிருந்த விபரமாவது:
3 “In the first year of Cyrus the king, Cyrus the king has made a decree concerning the house of God in Jerusalem: let the house be built in the place where they are sacrificing sacrifices, and its foundations strongly laid; its height sixty cubits, its breadth sixty cubits;
௩ராஜாவாகிய கோரேசின் முதலாம் வருடத்தில், கோரேஸ் ராஜா எருசலேமிலிருந்த தேவாலயத்தைக்குறித்து இட்ட கட்டளை என்னவென்றால்: தேவாலயமானது பலிசெலுத்திவந்த இடத்திலே கட்டவேண்டும்; அதின் அஸ்திபாரங்கள் பலமாயிருக்கவேண்டும்; அது அறுபதுமுழ உயரமும், அறுபதுமுழ அகலமுமாக இருக்கவேண்டும்.
4 three rows of rolled stones, and a row of new wood, and let the outlay be given out of the king’s house.
௪அது மூன்று வரிசை பெருங்கற்களாலும், ஒரு மாடிவரிசை புது நீண்டகற்களாக கட்டவேண்டும்; அதற்காக ஆகும் செலவு ராஜாவின் அரண்மனையிலிருந்து கொடுக்கப்படவேண்டும்.
5 And also, the vessels of the house of God, of gold and silver, that Nebuchadnezzar took forth out of the temple that [is] in Jerusalem, and brought to Babylon, let be given back, and go to the temple that [is] in Jerusalem, [each] to its place, and put [them] down in the house of God.
௫அன்றியும் நேபுகாத்நேச்சார் எருசலேமின் ஆலயத்திலிருந்து எடுத்து, பாபிலோனுக்குக் கொண்டுவந்த தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்திற்குரிய பொன் வெள்ளிப் பொருட்கள் எருசலேமிலுள்ள தேவாலயமாகிய தங்களுடைய இடத்திற்குப் போய்சேருவதற்குத் திரும்பக் கொடுக்கவேண்டும்; அவைகளை தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்திற்குக் கொண்டுபோங்கள் என்று எழுதப்பட்டிருந்தது.
6 Now Tatnai, governor beyond the river, Shethar-Boznai, and their companions, the Apharsachites, who [are] beyond the river, be far from here;
௬அப்பொழுது தரியு ராஜா எழுதியனுப்பினதாவது: இப்பொழுதும், நதிக்கு மறுபுறத்திலிருக்கிற ஆளுனராகிய தத்னாயும் சேத்தார் பொஸ்னாயுமாகிய நீங்களும், நதிக்கு மறுபுறத்திலிருக்கிற அதிகாரிகளான உங்களுடைய கூட்டாளிகளான அனைவரும் அந்த இடத்தைவிட்டு விலகியிருங்கள்.
7 let alone the work of this house of God, let the governor of the Jews, and [the] elders of the Jews, build this house of God on its place.
௭தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்தின் வேலையை அவர்கள் செய்யட்டும், யூதருடைய அதிபதியும், மூப்பர்களும், தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்தை அதின் இடத்திலே கட்டுவார்களாக.
8 And a decree is made by me concerning that which you do with [the] elders of these Jews to build this house of God, that of [the] riches of [the] king, that [are] of [the] tribute beyond [the] river, let the outlay be given speedily to these men, that they do not cease;
௮தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்தை யூத மூப்பர்கள் கட்டும் விஷயத்தில் நீங்கள் அவர்களுக்கு செய்யத்தக்கதாக, நம்மால் உண்டான கட்டளை என்னவென்றால், அந்த மனிதர்களுக்குத் தடை ஏற்படாமலிருக்க, நதிக்கு மறுபுறத்தில் வாங்கப்படும் வரியை ராஜாவின் பணத்திலே அவர்களுக்குத் தாமதமில்லாமல் ஆகும் செலவைக் கொடுக்கவேண்டும்.
9 and what they are needing—both young bullocks, and rams, and lambs for burnt-offerings to the God of the heavens, wheat, salt, wine, and oil according to the saying of the priests who [are] in Jerusalem—let be given to them day by day without fail,
௯பரலோகத்தின் தேவனுக்கு சர்வாங்க தகனபலிகளை செலுத்தத் தேவையான இளங்காளைகள், ஆட்டுக்கடாக்கள், ஆட்டுக்குட்டிகள், கோதுமை, உப்பு, திராட்சைரசம், எண்ணெய் ஆகியவை அனுதினம் அவர்கள் கேட்கிற விதத்தில் குறையில்லாமல் கொடுக்கவேண்டும்.
10 that they are bringing sweet savors near to the God of the heavens, and praying for the life of the king, and of his sons.
௧0எருசலேமில் இருக்கிற ஆசாரியர்கள் பரலோகத்தின் தேவனுக்கு சுகந்த வாசனையான பலிகளைச் செலுத்தி, ராஜாவுக்கும் அவருடைய மகன்களுக்கும் நீண்ட ஆயுளுடன் வாழ வேண்டுதல் செய்ய இப்படிச் செய்யவேண்டும்.
11 And a decree is made by me, that anyone who changes this thing, let wood be pulled down from his house, and being raised up, let him be struck on it, and let his house be made a dunghill for this.
௧௧பின்னும் நம்மால் பிறக்கும் கட்டளை என்னவென்றால்: எந்த மனிதனாவது இந்தக் கட்டளையை மாற்றினால், அவனுடைய வீட்டிலிருந்து ஒரு நீண்ட கல் பிடுங்கி நாட்டப்பட்டு, அவன் அதில் தூக்கிப்போடப்படவும், அதினால் அவனுடைய வீடு குப்பைமேடாவதாக.
12 And God, who caused His Name to dwell there, casts down any king and people that puts forth his hand to change, to destroy this house of God that [is] in Jerusalem; I Darius have made a decree; let it be done speedily.”
௧௨ஆகையால் இதை மாற்றவும், எருசலேமிலுள்ள தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்தைக் கெடுக்கவும், தங்கள் கையை நீட்டப்போகிற சகல ராஜாக்களையும், அனைத்து மக்களையும் தம்முடைய நாமத்தை அங்கே விளங்கச் செய்த தேவன் அழிப்பாராக; தரியுவாகிய நாம் இந்தக் கட்டளையைக் கொடுத்தோம்; இதன்படி ஜாக்கிரதையாக செய்யவேண்டும் என்று எழுதியனுப்பினான்.
13 Then Tatnai, governor beyond the river, Shethar-Boznai, and their companions, according to that which Darius the king has sent, so they have done speedily;
௧௩அப்பொழுது நதிக்கு இந்தப்புறத்திலிருக்கிற ஆளுனராகிய தத்னாயும், சேத்தார் பொஸ்னாயும், அவர்களின் கூட்டாளிகளும், தரியு ராஜா கட்டளையிட்ட பிரகாரம் ஜாக்கிரதையாக செய்தார்கள்.
14 and [the] elders of [the] Jews are building and prospering through [the] prophecy of Haggai [the] prophet, and Zechariah son of Iddo, and they have built and finished by [the] decree of [the] God of Israel, and by [the] decree of Cyrus, and Darius, and Artaxerxes king of Persia.
௧௪அப்படியே யூதரின் மூப்பர்கள் கட்டினார்கள்; தீர்க்கதரிசியாகிய ஆகாயும் இத்தோவின் மகனாகிய சகரியாவும் தீர்க்கதரிசனம் சொல்லிவந்தபடியினால் அவர்களுடைய காரியம் கைகூடிவந்தது; அவர்கள் இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனுடைய கட்டளையின்படியும், கோரேஸ், தரியு, பெர்சியாவின் ராஜாவாகிய அர்தசஷ்டா என்பவர்களுடைய கட்டளையின்படியும் அதைக் கட்டி முடித்தார்கள்.
15 And this house has gone out until the third day of the month Adar, that is [in] the sixth year of the reign of Darius the king.
௧௫ராஜாவாகிய தரியு அரசாளுகிற ஆறாம் வருடம் ஆதார் என்னும் மாதத்தின் மூன்றாம் தேதியிலே அந்த ஆலயம் கட்டி முடிக்கப்பட்டது.
16 And the sons of Israel have made, [and] the priests, and the Levites, and the rest of the sons of the captivity, a dedication of this house of God with joy,
௧௬அப்பொழுது இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களும், ஆசாரியர்களும், லேவியர்களும், சிறையிருப்பிலிருந்து வந்த மற்றவர்களும், தேவனுடைய ஆலயப் பிரதிஷ்டையை சந்தோஷமாகக் கொண்டாடினார்கள்.
17 and have brought near for the dedication of this house of God: one hundred bullocks, two hundred rams, four hundred lambs; and twelve young male goats for a sin-offering for all Israel according to the number of the tribes of Israel;
௧௭தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்தின் பிரதிஷ்டைக்காக நூறு காளைகளையும், இருநூறு ஆட்டுக்கடாக்களையும், நானூறு ஆட்டுக்குட்டிகளையும், இஸ்ரவேல் கோத்திரங்களுடைய இலக்கத்தின்படியே, இஸ்ரவேல் அனைத்தின் பாவநிவாரணபலிக்காகப் பன்னிரண்டு வெள்ளாட்டுக்கடாக்களையும் பலியிட்டு,
18 and they have established the priests in their divisions, and the Levites in their courses, over the service of God that [is] in Jerusalem, as it is written in the scroll of Moses.
௧௮மோசேயின் புத்தகத்தில் எழுதியிருக்கிறபடியே, அவர்கள் எருசலேமிலுள்ள தேவனுடைய ஆராதனைக்கென்று ஆசாரியர்களை அவர்களுடைய பிரிவுகளின்படியும், லேவியர்களை அவர்கள் முறைவரிசைகளின்படியும் நிறுத்தினார்கள்.
19 And the sons of the captivity make the Passover on the fourteenth of the first month,
௧௯சிறையிருப்பிலிருந்து வந்தவர்கள் முதலாம் மாதம் பதினான்காம் தேதியிலே பஸ்காவையும் ஆசரித்தார்கள்.
20 for the priests and the Levites have been purified together—all of them [are] pure—and they slaughter the Passover for all the sons of the captivity, and for their brothers the priests, and for themselves.
௨0ஆசாரியர்களும் லேவியர்களும் ஒருமனப்பட்டுத் தங்களை சுத்தம் செய்துகொண்டதால், எல்லோரும் சுத்தமாயிருந்து, சிறையிருப்பிலிருந்து வந்தவர்கள் எல்லோருக்காகவும், ஆசாரியர்களான தங்களுடைய சகோதரர்களுக்காகவும், தங்களுக்காகவும் பஸ்காவின் ஆட்டுக்குட்டிகளை அடித்தார்கள்.
21 And the sons of Israel, those returning from the captivity, and everyone who is separated from the uncleanness of the nations of the land to them, to seek to YHWH, God of Israel, eat,
௨௧அப்படியே சிறையிருப்பிலிருந்து திரும்பிவந்த இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களும், இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய யெகோவாவை நாடும்படி, பூலோக ஜாதிகளின் அசுத்தத்தைவிட்டு, அவர்களண்டையிலே சேர்ந்த அனைவரும் அதைச் சாப்பிட்டு,
22 and they make the Celebration of Unleavened Things seven days with joy, for YHWH made them to rejoice, and turned around the heart of the king of Asshur to them, to strengthen their hands in the work of the house of God, the God of Israel.
௨௨புளிப்பில்லாத அப்பப்பண்டிகையை ஏழுநாட்களாக சந்தோஷத்துடனே ஆசரித்தார்கள்; யெகோவா அவர்களை மகிழ்ச்சியாக்கி, அவர்களுடைய கைகளை இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவன் என்னும் தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்தின் வேலையிலே பலப்படுத்தத்தக்கதாக அசீரியருடைய ராஜாவின் இருதயத்தை அவர்களிடம் சார்ந்திருக்கப்பண்ணினார்.
