Ezra 10
1 And at Ezra’s praying, and at his making confession, weeping and casting himself down before the house of God, there have been gathered to him out of Israel a very great assembly—men and women and children—for the people have wept, multiplying weeping.
ಎಜ್ರನು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿ ಅರಿಕೆಮಾಡಿ ಅತ್ತು ದೇವರ ಆಲಯದ ಮುಂದೆ ಅಡ್ಡಬಿದ್ದ ತರುವಾಯ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರೂ, ಪುರುಷರೂ, ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಮಹಾಕೂಟವಾಗಿ ಅವನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದರು. ಜನರು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಅತ್ತರು.
2 And Shechaniah son of Jehiel, of the sons of Elam, answers and says to Ezra, “We have trespassed against our God, and we settle strange women of the peoples of the land; and now there is hope for Israel concerning this,
ಆಗ ಏಲಾಮನ ವಂಶಜರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನಾದ ಯೆಹೀಯೇಲನ ಮಗನಾದ ಶೆಕನ್ಯನು ಎಜ್ರನಿಗೆ, “ನಾವು ಅನ್ಯದೇಶನಿವಾಸಿಗಳಿಂದ ಹೆಣ್ಣನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡದ್ದರಿಂದ, ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ದ್ರೋಹಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಆದರೂ ಈಗ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಉಂಟು.
3 and now, let us make a covenant with our God, to cause all the women to go out, and that which is born of them, by the counsel of the Lord, and of those trembling at the command of our God, and according to law it is done;
ಆದಕಾರಣ ನಮ್ಮ ಒಡೆಯನಾದ ನಿನ್ನ ಯೋಚನೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರವಾಗಿಯೂ, ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗೆ ಭಯಪಡುವವರ ಯೋಚನೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರವಾಗಿಯೂ ಆ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರನ್ನೂ, ಅವರಿಂದ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದವರನ್ನೂ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಬಿಡಲು, ಈಗಲೇ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರ ಮುಂದೆ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು, ದೇವರ ನಿಯಮದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಡೆಯೋಣ.
4 rise, for on you [is] the matter, and we [are] with you; be strong, and do.”
ನೀನು ಏಳು, ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯ ನಿನಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದೆ. ನಾವು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ನಿಲ್ಲುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಧೈರ್ಯದಿಂದ ಅದನ್ನು ಮಾಡು,” ಎಂದನು.
5 And Ezra rises, and causes the heads of the priests, the Levites, and all Israel, to swear to do according to this word—and they swear.
ಆಗ ಎಜ್ರನು ಎದ್ದು, ಮಹಾಯಾಜಕರೂ ಲೇವಿಯರೂ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರೂ ಈ ಮಾತಿನ ಪ್ರಕಾರವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಲು, ಅವರು ಆಣೆಯಿಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಅವರು ಆಣೆ ಇಟ್ಟರು.
6 And Ezra rises from before the house of God, and goes to the chamber of Jehohanan son of Eliashib; indeed, he goes there, bread he has not eaten, and water he has not drunk, for he is mourning because of the trespass of the expulsion.
ಆಮೇಲೆ ಎಜ್ರನು ಎದ್ದು ದೇವರ ಆಲಯದ ಮುಂಭಾಗದ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು, ಎಲ್ಯಾಷೀಬನ ಮಗ ಯೆಹೋಹಾನಾನನ ಕೊಠಡಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ, ದುಃಖಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಅನ್ನಪಾನಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ರಾತ್ರಿಯನ್ನು ಕಳೆದನು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಸೆರೆಯಿಂದ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರ ಅಪನಂಬಿಗಸ್ತಿಕೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತುಂಬಾ ದುಃಖಿತನಾಗಿದ್ದನು.
7 And they cause a voice to pass over into Judah and Jerusalem, to all sons of the expulsion, to be gathered to Jerusalem,
ತರುವಾಯ ಸೆರೆಯಿಂದ ಬಂದವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಕೂಡಿಬರಬೇಕೆಂದು ಸಮಸ್ತ ಯೆಹೂದ ಮತ್ತು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾರಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.
8 and everyone who does not come in by the third day, according to the counsel of the heads and the elderly, all his substance is devoted, and himself separated from the assembly of the expulsion.
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ಪ್ರಧಾನರ, ಹಿರಿಯರ ನಿರ್ಣಯದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಮೂರು ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾರದೆ ಇದ್ದರೆ, ಅವನ ಆಸ್ತಿಯೆಲ್ಲಾ ದಂಡವಾಗಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುವುದೆಂದೂ, ಅವನು ಸೆರೆಯಿಂದ ಬಂದವರ ಕೂಟದಿಂದ ಬಹಿಷ್ಕೃತನಾಗುವನು ಎಂದೂ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿದರು.
9 And all the men of Judah and Benjamin are gathered to Jerusalem by the third day, it [is] the ninth month, on the twentieth of the month, and all the people sit in the broad place of the house of God, trembling on account of the matter and of the showers.
ಆಗ ಯೆಹೂದ ಮತ್ತು ಬೆನ್ಯಾಮೀನಿನ ಮನುಷ್ಯರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಮೂರು ದಿವಸಗಳೊಳಗೆ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಡಿದರು. ಅದು ಒಂಬತ್ತನೆಯ ತಿಂಗಳ, ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತನೆಯ ದಿವಸವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರು ದೇವರ ಆಲಯದ ಬೀದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರವೂ, ಮಳೆಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ನಡುಗಿ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು.
10 And Ezra the priest rises and says to them, “You have trespassed, and you settle strange women, to add to the guilt of Israel;
ಆಗ ಯಾಜಕನಾದ ಎಜ್ರನು ಎದ್ದು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ನೀವು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಅಪರಾಧವನ್ನು ಅಧಿಕವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಲು, ಅನ್ಯ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರನ್ನು ಮದುವೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ದ್ರೋಹ ಮಾಡಿದಿರಿ.
11 and now, make confession to YHWH, God of your fathers, and do His good pleasure, and be separated from the peoples of the land, and from the strange women.”
ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ದೇವರಾಗಿರುವ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನು ಅರಿಕೆಮಾಡಿ, ಅವರ ಚಿತ್ತದ ಪ್ರಕಾರಮಾಡಿ, ಈ ದೇಶದ ಜನರಿಂದಲೂ, ಅನ್ಯ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರಿಂದಲೂ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ,” ಎಂದನು.
12 And all the assembly answers and says [with] a great voice, “Right; according to your word—on us to do;
ಆಗ ಸಭೆಯೆಲ್ಲಾ ಉತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಶಬ್ದದಿಂದ, “ನೀನು ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದೆ! ನೀನು ಹೇಳಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ನಾವು ಮಾಡಬೇಕು.
13 but the people [are] many, and [it is] the time of showers, and there is no power to stand outside, and the work [is] not for one day, nor for two, for we have multiplied to transgress in this thing.
ಆದರೆ ಜನರು ಅನೇಕರು. ಇದು ಮಳೆಗಾಲವಾಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಇರಲಾರೆವು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಇದು ಒಂದೆರಡು ದಿನಗಳ ಕೆಲಸವಲ್ಲ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಅಪರಾಧವು ದೊಡ್ಡದು.
14 Please let our heads of all the assembly stand; and all who [are] in our cities, who have settled strange wives, come in at [the] appointed times, and with them [the] elderly of city and city, and judges in it, until the turning back of the fury of the wrath of our God from us, for this thing.”
ಆದಕಾರಣ ದಯಮಾಡಿ ಸಭೆಯ ಎಲ್ಲಾದರಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಧಾನರು ನಿಲ್ಲಲಿ. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರ ಕಠಿಣ ಕೋಪವು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗುವವರೆಗೆ, ನಮ್ಮ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಹೂದ್ಯರಲ್ಲದ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡವರು, ನೇಮಿಸಿದ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದು, ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಪ್ರತಿ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಹಿರಿಯರೂ, ಅದರ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧಿಪತಿಗಳೂ ಇರಲಿ,” ಎಂದರು.
15 Only Jonathan son of Asahel, and Jahaziah son of Tikvah, stood against this, and Meshullam, and Shabbethai the Levite, helped them.
ಆದರೆ ಅಸಾಯೇಲನ ಮಗ ಯೋನಾತಾನ್ ಹಾಗು, ತಿಕ್ವನ ಮಗ ಯಹ್ಜೆಯ ಇದನ್ನು ವಿರೋಧಿಸಿದರು. ಮೆಷುಲ್ಲಾಮನೂ ಲೇವಿಯನಾದ ಶಬ್ಬೆತೈನೂ ಅವರನ್ನು ಬೆಂಬಲಿಸಿದರು.
16 And the sons of the expulsion do so, and Ezra the priest, [and] men, heads of the fathers, for the house of their fathers, are separated, even all of them by name, and they sit on the first day of the tenth month, to examine the matter;
ಸೆರೆಯಿಂದ ಬಂದವರು ಇದೇ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಯಾಜಕ ಎಜ್ರನು, ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರನ್ನಾಗಿ ಕುಟುಂಬಕ್ಕೆ ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬರನ್ನು ಆಯ್ದುಕೊಂಡನು. ಅವರನ್ನು ಹೆಸರು ಹಿಡಿದು ನೇಮಿಸಿದನು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಶೋಧಿಸಲು ಹತ್ತನೆಯ ತಿಂಗಳ, ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಂಡರು.
17 and they finish with all the men who have settled strange women to the first day of the first month.
ಅನ್ಯ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದವರೆಲ್ಲರ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ತಿಂಗಳ, ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಗಿಸಿದರು.
18 And there are found of the sons of the priests that have settled strange women: of the sons of Jeshua son of Jozadak, and his brothers, Maaseiah, and Eliezer, and Jarib, and Gedaliah;
ಯಾಜಕರ ವಂಶಜರಲ್ಲಿ ಅನ್ಯ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರನ್ನು ಮದುವೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡವರು ಯಾರೆಂದರೆ: ಯೋಚಾದಾಕನ ಮಗ ಯೇಷೂವನು ಮತ್ತು ಅವನ ಸಹೋದರರಲ್ಲಿ: ಮಾಸೇಯನು, ಎಲೀಯೆಜೆರನು, ಯಾರೀಬನು, ಗೆದಲ್ಯನು.
19 and they give their hand to send out their wives, and being guilty, a ram of the flock for their guilt.
ಇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯರನ್ನು ಹೊರಡಿಸಿಬಿಡುವೆವೆಂದು ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞೆ ಮಾಡಿ, ತಾವು ಅಪರಾಧಸ್ಥರಾದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅಪರಾಧ ಕಳೆಯುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಮಂದೆಯಿಂದ ತಂದ ಒಂದು ಟಗರನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದರು.
20 And of the sons of Immer: Hanani and Zebadiah;
ಇಮ್ಮೇರನ ವಂಶಜರಲ್ಲಿ: ಹನಾನೀ, ಜೆಬದ್ಯ.
21 and of the sons of Harim: Maaseiah, and Elijah, and Shemaiah, and Jehiel, and Uzziah;
ಹಾರಿಮನ ವಂಶಜರಲ್ಲಿ: ಮಾಸೇಯ, ಎಲೀಯ, ಶೆಮಾಯ, ಯೆಹೀಯೇಲ್, ಉಜ್ಜೀಯ.
22 and of the sons of Pashhur: Elioenai, Maaseiah, Ishmael, Nethaneel, Jozabad, and Elasah.
ಪಷ್ಹೂರನ ವಂಶಜರಲ್ಲಿ: ಎಲ್ಯೋವೇನೈ, ಮಾಸೇಯ, ಇಷ್ಮಾಯೇಲ್, ನೆತನೆಯೇಲ್, ಯೋಜಾಬಾದ್ ಮತ್ತು ಎಲ್ಲಾಸ.
23 And of the Levites: Jozabad, and Shimei, and Kelaiah (he [is] Kelita), Pethahiah, Judah, and Eliezer.
ಲೇವಿಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಯೋಜಾಬಾದ್, ಶಿಮ್ಮೀ, ಕೆಲೀಟನೆಂಬ ಕೇಲಾಯ, ಪೆತಹ್ಯ, ಯೆಹೂದ, ಎಲೀಯೆಜೆರ್.
24 And of the singers: Eliashib. And of the gatekeepers: Shallum, and Telem, and Uri.
ಹಾಡುಗಾರರಲ್ಲಿ: ಎಲ್ಯಾಷೀಬ್. ದ್ವಾರಪಾಲಕರಲ್ಲಿ: ಶಲ್ಲೂಮ್, ಟೆಲೆಮ್, ಊರಿ.
25 And of Israel: of the sons of Parosh: Ramiah, and Jeziah, and Malchijah, and Miamin, and Eleazar, and Malchijah, and Benaiah.
ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಲ್ಲಿ: ಪರೋಷನ ವಂಶಜರಲ್ಲಿ: ರಮ್ಯಾಹ, ಇಜ್ಜೀಯ, ಮಲ್ಕೀಯ, ಮಿಯಾಮಿನ್, ಎಲಿಯಾಜರ್, ಮಲ್ಕೀಯ, ಬೆನಾಯ.
26 And of the sons of Elam: Mattaniah, Zechariah, and Jehiel, and Abdi, and Jeremoth, and Elijah.
ಏಲಾಮನ ವಂಶಜರಲ್ಲಿ: ಮತ್ತನ್ಯ, ಜೆಕರ್ಯ, ಯೆಹೀಯೇಲ್, ಅಬ್ದೀ, ಯೆರೀಮೋತ್, ಎಲೀಯ.
27 And of the sons of Zattu: Elioenai, Eliashib, Mattaniah, and Jeremoth, and Zabad, and Aziza.
ಜತ್ತೂ ವಂಶಜರಲ್ಲಿ: ಎಲ್ಯೋವೇನೈ, ಎಲ್ಯಾಷೀಬ್, ಮತ್ತನ್ಯ, ಯೆರೀಮೋತ್, ಜಾಬಾದ್ ಮತ್ತು ಅಜೀಜಾ.
28 And of the sons of Bebai: Jehohanan, Hananiah, Zabbai, Athlai.
ಬೇಬೈನ ವಂಶಜರಲ್ಲಿ: ಯೆಹೋಹಾನಾನ್, ಹನನ್ಯ, ಜಬ್ಬೈ, ಅತ್ಲೈ.
29 And of the sons of Bani: Meshullam, Malluch, and Adaiah, Jashub, and Sheal, and Ramoth.
ಬಾನೀ ವಂಶಜರಲ್ಲಿ: ಮೆಷುಲ್ಲಾಮ್, ಮಲ್ಲೂಕ್, ಅದಾಯ, ಯಾಷೂಬ್, ಶೆಯಾಲ್ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಮೋತ್.
30 And of the sons of Pahath-Moab: Adna, and Chelal, Benaiah, Maaseiah, Mattaniah, Bezaleel, and Binnui, and Manasseh.
ಪಹತ್ ಮೋವಾಬಿನ ವಂಶಜರಲ್ಲಿ: ಅದ್ನ, ಕೆಲಾಲ್, ಬೆನಾಯ, ಮಾಸೇಯ, ಮತ್ತನ್ಯ, ಬೆಚಲಯೇಲ್, ಬಿನ್ನೂಯ್, ಮನಸ್ಸೆ.
31 And of the sons of Harim: Eliezer, Ishijah, Malchiah, Shemaiah, Shimeon,
ಹಾರಿಮನ ವಂಶಜರಲ್ಲಿ: ಎಲೀಯೆಜೆರ್, ಇಷೀಯ, ಮಲ್ಕೀಯ, ಶೆಮಾಯ, ಸಿಮೆಯೋನ್,
32 Benjamin, Malluch, Shemariah.
ಬೆನ್ಯಾಮೀನ್, ಮಲ್ಲೂಕ್, ಶೆಮರ್ಯ.
33 Of the sons of Hashum: Mattenai, Mattathah, Zabad, Eliphelet, Jeremai, Manasseh, Shimei.
ಹಾಷುಮ್ ವಂಶಜರಲ್ಲಿ: ಮತ್ತೆನೈ, ಮತ್ತತ್ತ, ಜಾಬಾದ್, ಎಲೀಫೆಲೆಟ್, ಯೆರೇಮೈ, ಮನಸ್ಸೆ, ಶಿಮ್ಮೀ.
34 Of the sons of Bani: Maadai, Amram, and Uel,
ಬಾನೀ ವಂಶಜರಲ್ಲಿ: ಮಾದೈ, ಅಮ್ರಾಮ್, ಉಯೇಲ್,
35 Benaiah, Bedeiah, Cheluhu,
ಬೆನಾಯ, ಬೇದೆಯ, ಕೆಲೂಹಿ.
36 Vaniah, Meremoth, Eliashib,
ವನ್ಯಾಹ, ಮೆರೇಮೋತ್, ಎಲ್ಯಾಷೀಬ್,
37 Mattaniah, Mattenai, and Jaasau,
ಮತ್ತನ್ಯ, ಮತ್ತೆನೈ, ಯಾಸೈ.
38 and Bani, and Binnui, Shimei,
ಬಾನೀ, ಬಿನ್ನೂಯ್ ವಂಶಜರಲ್ಲಿ: ಶಿಮ್ಮೀ,
39 and Shelemiah, and Nathan, and Adaiah,
ಶೆಲೆಮ್ಯ, ನಾತಾನ್, ಅದಾಯ,
40 Machnadbai, Shashai, Sharai,
ಮಕ್ನದೆಬೈ, ಶಾಷೈ, ಶಾರೈ,
41 Azareel, and Shelemiah, Shemariah,
ಅಜರಯೇಲ್, ಶೆಲೆಮ್ಯ, ಶೆಮರ್ಯ,
42 Shallum, Amariah, Joseph.
ಶಲ್ಲೂಮ್, ಅಮರ್ಯ, ಯೋಸೇಫ್.
43 Of the sons of Nebo: Jeiel, Mattithiah, Zabad, Zebina, Jadau, and Joel, Benaiah;
ನೆಬೋ ವಂಶಜರಲ್ಲಿ: ಯೆಹಿಯೇಲ್, ಮತ್ತಿತ್ಯ, ಜಾಬಾದ್, ಜೆಬೀನ, ಯದ್ದೈ, ಯೋಯೇಲ್ ಮತ್ತು ಬೆನಾಯ.
44 all these have taken strange women, and there are of them women who adopt sons.
ಇವರೆಲ್ಲರು ಅನ್ಯ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರನ್ನು ಮದುವೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರಿಗೆ ಈ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯರಿಂದ ಮಕ್ಕಳಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
