Ezekiel 40
1 In the twenty-fifth year of our removal, in the beginning of the year, on the tenth of the month, in the fourteenth year after which the city was struck, on this very same day a hand of YHWH has been on me, and He brings me in there;
El año veinte y cinco de nuestro cautiverio, al principio del año, el diez del mes, catorce años después de la caída de la ciudad, aquel mismo día vino sobre mí la mano de Yahvé y me trasladó allá.
2 in visions of God He has brought me into the land of Israel, and causes me to rest on a very high mountain, and on it [is] as the frame of a city from the south.
Me llevó en visiones divinas a la tierra de Israel, y me colocó sobre un monte muy alto, sobre el cual había, al mediodía, una construcción semejante a una ciudad.
3 And He brings me in there, and behold, a man, his appearance as the appearance of bronze, and a thread of flax in his hand, and a measuring-reed, and he is standing at the gate,
Cuando me había llevado allá, vi a un varón, cuyo aspecto era como el aspecto de bronce. Tenía en la mano una cuerda de lino y una caña de medir y estaba parado a la puerta.
4 and the man speaks to me: “Son of man, see with your eyes, And hear with your ears, And set your heart to all that I am showing you, For in order to show [it] you, You have been brought in here, Declare all that you are seeing to the house of Israel.”
Y me dijo aquel varón: “Hijo de hombre, mira con tus ojos, y escucha con tus oídos y para mientes en todo lo que te voy a mostrar; pues para que yo te lo haga ver, has sido trasladado aquí. Todo cuanto veas anúncialo a la casa de Israel.”
5 And behold, a wall all around on the outside of the house, and a measuring-reed in the hand of the man, six cubits by a cubit and a handbreadth, and he measures the breadth of the building—one reed, and the height—one reed.
Y vi un muro exterior que rodeaba toda la Casa; (vi) también en la mano de aquel varón una caña de medir, de seis codos, cada uno de los cuales tenía un codo y un palmo. Y midió el ancho del edificio: una caña; y la altura: una caña.
6 And he comes to the gate whose front [is] eastward, and he goes up by its steps, and he measures the threshold of the gate—one reed broad, even one threshold—one reed broad,
Entonces fue a la puerta que mira hacia el oriente, subió por sus gradas y midió el umbral de la puerta: una caña de ancho; y el otro umbral: una caña de ancho.
7 and the little chamber—one reed long and one reed broad, and between the little chambers—five cubits, and the threshold of the gate, from the side of the porch of the gate from within—one reed.
Cada cámara tenía una caña de largo y una caña de ancho; y entre las cámaras había (un espacio) de cinco codos; y el umbral de la puerta junto al vestíbulo de la puerta interior tenía una caña.
8 And he measures the porch of the gate from within—one reed,
Luego midió el vestíbulo de la puerta interior: una caña.
9 and he measures the porch of the gate—eight cubits, and its posts—two cubits, and the porch of the gates from within,
Midió también el vestíbulo de la puerta: ocho codos; y sus pilares: dos codos; el vestíbulo de la puerta estaba en la parte de adentro.
10 and the little chambers of the gate eastward, three on this side and three on that side; the three of them—one measure, and the posts—one measure, on this side and on that side.
Las cámaras de la puerta oriental eran tres de un lado, y tres del otro. Una misma medida tenían todas ellas, y una misma medida los pilares de ambos lados.
11 And he measures the breadth of the opening of the gate—ten cubits, the length of the gate—thirteen cubits;
Después midió el ancho de la entrada de la puerta: diez codos; y la profundidad del portal: trece codos.
12 and a border before the little chambers—one cubit, and one cubit [is] the border on this side, and the little chamber—six cubits on this side, and six cubits on that side.
Había delante de las cámaras un espacio delimitado de un codo de un lado, y de un codo del otro lado; y cada cámara tenía seis codos por una y otra parte.
13 And he measures the gate from the roof of the [one] little chamber to the roof of another; the breadth—twenty-five cubits, opening opposite opening.
Y midió la puerta desde el techo de una cámara hasta la (opuesta), y era su anchura de veinte y cinco codos, de puerta a puerta.
14 And he makes the posts of sixty cubits, even to the post of the court, the gate all around;
Y midió los pilares de sesenta codos, los cuales estaban adheridos al atrio que rodeaba todo (el edificio de) la puerta.
15 and by the front of the gate of the entrance, by the front of the porch of the inner gate—fifty cubits;
Desde el frente de la puerta de la entrada hasta el frente del vestíbulo de la puerta interior, había cincuenta codos.
16 and narrow windows [are] in the little chambers, and in their posts on the inside of the gate all around—and so to the arches—and windows all around on the inside, and palm-trees [are] on the post.
En las cámaras y sus pilares había ventanas de reja, que daban al interior (del edificio) de la puerta, todo en derredor, y asimismo en los vestíbulos. Las ventanas estaban todo en derredor y daban al interior, y en los pilares había palmeras.
17 And he brings me into the outer court, and behold, chambers and a pavement made for the court all around—thirty chambers on the pavement—
Me llevó después al atrio exterior; y allí había cámaras y un pavimento enlosado de piedras todo en torno del atrio. Treinta cámaras bordeaban el pavimento.
18 and the pavement to the side of the gates, corresponding to the length of the gates, [is] the lower pavement;
El pavimento se extendía a ambos lados de las puertas, y correspondía a la profundidad de las puertas. Este era el pavimento inferior.
19 and he measures the breadth from before the lower gate, to the front of the inner court, on the outside—one hundred cubits, eastward and northward.
Y midió por la parte de afuera la profundidad (del atrio), desde la fachada de la puerta de abajo hasta la fachada del atrio interior; cien codos hacia el oriente y hacia el norte.
20 As for the gate of the outer court whose front [is] northward, he has measured its length and its breadth;
Midió también la longitud y la anchura de la puerta del atrio exterior, que mira hacia el norte.
21 and its little chambers, three on this side and three on that side, and its posts and its arches have been according to the measure of the first gate, its length [is] fifty cubits, and breadth [is] twenty-five by the cubit;
Sus cámaras, tres a un lado y tres al otro, así como sus pilares y su vestíbulo tenían las mismas medidas que las de la puerta primera: cincuenta codos de largo por veinte y cinco de ancho.
22 and its windows, and its arches, and its palm-trees [are] according to the measure of the gate whose face [is] eastward, and they go up on it by seven steps, and its arches [are] before them.
Sus ventanas, su vestíbulo y sus palmeras eran conforme a la medida de la puerta que miraba hacia el oriente. Se subía a ella por siete gradas, y delante de estas se hallaba un vestíbulo.
23 And the gate of the inner court [is] opposite the gate at the north and at the east; and he measures from gate to gate—one hundred cubits.
En el atrio interior había una puerta frente a la puerta septentrional, que correspondía a la oriental; y de puerta a puerta había una distancia de cien codos.
24 And he causes me to go southward, and behold, a gate southward, and he has measured its posts and its arches according to these measurements;
Luego me llevó a la parte meridional; y he aquí una puerta que daba al sur; y midió sus pilares y su vestíbulo, que tenían las mismas dimensiones.
25 and windows [are] in it and in its arches all around, like these windows, the length—fifty cubits, and the breadth—twenty-five cubits;
Tenía, así como su vestíbulo, todo en torno, ventanas semejantes a las otras ventanas, de cincuenta codos de largo y de veinte y cinco de ancho.
26 and seven steps [are] its ascent, and its arches [are] before them, and palm-trees [are] in it, one on this side and one on that side, on its posts;
Tenía también siete gradas para subir, y delante de ellas estaba un vestíbulo. Había en los pilares palmeras, una de un lado, y otra del otro.
27 and the gate of the inner court [is] southward, and he measures from gate to gate southward, one hundred cubits.
Había también en el atrio interior una puerta que miraba al sur; y midió (el varón) de puerta a puerta, hacia el sur: cien codos.
28 And he brings me into the inner court by the south gate, and he measures the south gate according to these measurements;
Entonces me llevó al atrio interior, a la puerta meridional, y midió la puerta meridional, la cual tenía las mismas dimensiones.
29 and its little chambers, and its posts, and its arches [are] according to these measurements, and windows [are] in it and in its arches all around; the length—fifty cubits, and the breadth—twenty-five cubits.
También sus cámaras, sus pilares y su vestíbulo tenían las mismas medidas. Había ventanas en ella y en su vestíbulo, todo en derredor. Su longitud era de cincuenta codos, y su anchura de veinte y cinco.
30 As for the arches all around, the length—twenty-five cubits, and the breadth—five cubits;
Los vestíbulos, que había todo en derredor, eran de veinte y cinco codos de largo y de cinco codos de ancho.
31 and its arches [are] toward the outer court, and palm-trees [are] on its posts, and eight steps [are] its ascent.
Su vestíbulo daba al atrio exterior; tenía palmeras en sus pilares y se subía por ocho gradas.
32 And he brings me into the inner court eastward, and he measures the gate according to these measurements;
Después me condujo, en el atrio interior, hacia el oriente y midió la puerta, la cual tenía las mismas medidas (que las otras).
33 and its little chambers, and its posts, and its arches [are] according to these measurements: and windows [are] in it and in its arches all around, the length—fifty cubits, and the breadth—twenty-five cubits;
Sus cámaras, sus pilares y su vestíbulo tenían aquellas mismas medidas; y había ventanas en ella y en su vestíbulo todo en derredor. Su longitud era de cincuenta codos, y su anchura de veinte y cinco.
34 and its arches [are] toward the outer court, and palm-trees [are] toward its posts, on this side and on that side, and eight steps [are] its ascent.
Su vestíbulo daba al atrio exterior; en sus pilares a uno y otro lado había palmeras, y se subía a la (puerta) por ocho gradas.
35 And he brings me into the north gate, and has measured according to these measurements;
Luego me llevó a la puerta del norte, y la midió con aquellas mismas medidas.
36 its little chambers, its posts, and its arches; and windows [are] in it all around: the length—fifty cubits, and the breadth—twenty-five cubits;
(Midió) también sus cámaras, sus pilares y su vestíbulo, y las ventanas en ella todo en derredor; cincuenta codos de largo por veinte y cinco de ancho.
37 and its posts [are] toward the outer court, and palm-trees [are] on its posts, on this side and on that side, and eight steps [are] its ascent.
Sus pilares daban al atrio exterior; en sus pilares había palmeras a un lado y al otro y se subía a la (puerta) por ocho gradas.
38 And the chamber and its opening [is] by the posts of the gates, there they purge the burnt-offering.
Había cámaras con puertas correspondientes junto a los pilares de las puertas, para lavar los holocaustos.
39 And in the porch of the gate [are] two tables on this side and two tables on that side, to slaughter on them the burnt-offering, and the sin-offering, and the guilt-offering;
En el vestíbulo de la puerta había a cada lado dos mesas, para degollar sobre ellas los holocaustos, las víctimas por el pecado y las víctimas por la culpa.
40 and at the side without, at the going up to the opening of the north gate, [are] two tables; and at the other side that [is] at the porch of the gate, [are] two tables;
En el lado exterior, al norte de quien subía a la entrada de la puerta, había también dos mesas, y otras dos en la parte opuesta junto al pórtico de la puerta;
41 four tables [are] on this side and four tables on that side, at the side of the gate, eight tables on which they slaughter.
de modo que había junto a la puerta cuatro mesas de un lado y cuatro mesas del otro, (o sea) ocho mesas, sobre las cuales se degollaban (las víctimas).
42 And the four tables for burnt-offering [are] of hewn stone: the length—one cubit and a half, and the breadth—one cubit and a half, and the height—one cubit; they place on them the instruments with which they slaughter the burnt-offering and the sacrifice.
Las cuatro mesas para los holocaustos eran de piedra labrada, de codo y medio de largo, codo y medio de ancho y un codo de alto. Sobre estas se ponían los instrumentos con que se degollaban los holocaustos y las (otras) víctimas.
43 And the boundaries [are] one handbreadth, prepared within all around: and the flesh of the offering [is] on the tables.
Por dentro había ganchos colocados todo en torno, qué tenían el tamaño de un palmo; y sobre las mesas, se ponía la carne de las víctimas.
44 And on the outside of the inner gate [are] chambers of the singers, in the inner court, that [are] at the side of the north gate, and their fronts [are] southward, one at the side of the east gate [with] front northward.
Fuera de la puerta interior, en el atrio interior, había cámaras para los cantores, una al lado de la puerta del norte, con su frente hacia el sur; y otra al lado de la puerta oriental, con la frente hacia el norte.
45 And he speaks to me: “This chamber, whose front [is] southward, [is] for priests keeping charge of the house;
Y me dijo: “La cámara que mira hacia el sur, es para los sacerdotes que están al servicio de la Casa;
46 and the chamber, whose front [is] northward, [is] for priests keeping charge of the altar: they [are] sons of Zadok, who are drawing near of the sons of Levi to YHWH, to serve Him.”
y la cámara que mira hacia el norte es para los sacerdotes que desempeñan el servicio del altar. Son los hijos de Sadoc los que entre los hijos de Levi se acercan a Yahvé para servirle.”
47 And he measures the court: the length—one hundred cubits, and the breadth—one hundred cubits, square, and the altar [is] before the house.
Y midió el atrio: cien codos de largo y cien codos de ancho, un cuadrado. Y el altar estaba delante de la Casa.
48 And he brings me to the porch of the house, and he measures the post of the porch—five cubits on this side and five cubits on that side, and the breadth of the gate—three cubits on this side and three cubits on that side;
Después me llevó al pórtico de la Casa, y midió los pilares del pórtico: cinco codos de un lado y cinco del otro; y la anchura de la puerta: tres codos de un lado y tres del otro.
49 the length of the porch—twenty cubits, and the breadth—eleven [[or twelve]] cubits; and they go up to it by the [[ten]] steps. And pillars [are] by the posts, one on this side and one on that side.
Tenía el pórtico veinte codos de largo y once codos de ancho, y se subía a él por gradas. Y había columnas junto a los pilares, una a cada lado.
