< Ezekiel 40 >
1 In the twenty-fifth year of our removal, in the beginning of the year, on the tenth of the month, in the fourteenth year after which the city was struck, on this very same day a hand of YHWH has been on me, and He brings me in there;
Santoungnae kum 25, kum kamtawngnae thapa hnin hra hnin vah, khopui raphoe lah ao hnukkhu kum hlaipali nah, hote hnin roeroe dawk BAWIPA e kut teh kai van ao teh, hawvah na ceikhai.
2 in visions of God He has brought me into the land of Israel, and causes me to rest on a very high mountain, and on it [is] as the frame of a city from the south.
Cathut a kamnuenae vision lahoi Isarel ram dawk na ceikhai teh, mon ka rasang poung e van na hruek, hote mon e teng vah akalah khopui patetlae hah ao.
3 And He brings me in there, and behold, a man, his appearance as the appearance of bronze, and a thread of flax in his hand, and a measuring-reed, and he is standing at the gate,
Hawvah na ceikhai, khenhaw! tami buet touh a o, rahum patetlah a meilam a o, pahla hoi bangnuenae cakui a sin teh, longkha koe a kangdue.
4 and the man speaks to me: “Son of man, see with your eyes, And hear with your ears, And set your heart to all that I am showing you, For in order to show [it] you, You have been brought in here, Declare all that you are seeing to the house of Israel.”
Ahni ni tami capa, takuetluet khenhaw! na hnâpakeng haw, kai ni na patue e naw hah na lungthung paen haw. Kai ni na patue hane kong dawk, hivah na thokhai e doeh. Na hmu e pueng hah Isarel imthung koe na pâpho han telah a ti.
5 And behold, a wall all around on the outside of the house, and a measuring-reed in the hand of the man, six cubits by a cubit and a handbreadth, and he measures the breadth of the building—one reed, and the height—one reed.
Khenhaw! bawkim petkâkalup lah rapan hah ao. Tami ni bangnuenae lahoi dong taruk touh kasawe cakui a sin teh rapan a tha e teh cakui yung touh, a rasang e hai cakui yung touh a pha.
6 And he comes to the gate whose front [is] eastward, and he goes up by its steps, and he measures the threshold of the gate—one reed broad, even one threshold—one reed broad,
Kanîtholah kangvawi e takhang koe a cei teh, khalai dawk hoi a luen, takhang kâennae rakhan hah a bangnue teh cakui yung touh a kaw.
7 and the little chamber—one reed long and one reed broad, and between the little chambers—five cubits, and the threshold of the gate, from the side of the porch of the gate from within—one reed.
Takhang e rakhannaw teh cakui yung touh hoi adangka cakui yung touh, rakhan buet touh hoi buet touh e rahak teh, dong panga touh doeh. Hahoi impui lae takhang alawilae takhang kâennae rakhan teh cakui yung touh doeh.
8 And he measures the porch of the gate from within—one reed,
Imthungkhu e takhang rai imkalae takhang hai a bangnue teh cakui yung touh a pha.
9 and he measures the porch of the gate—eight cubits, and its posts—two cubits, and the porch of the gates from within,
A thung lae takhang, alawilae hai a bangnue teh dong taroe touh a pha, takhang khomnaw teh dong hni touh a tha, longkha alawilae hah athunglah ao awh.
10 and the little chambers of the gate eastward, three on this side and three on that side; the three of them—one measure, and the posts—one measure, on this side and on that side.
Hma lae longkha phekkadangka lae dawk rakhan kathoenge kathum touh rip a o, yung adangka rei kâvan, rasang e hai rei a kâvan.
11 And he measures the breadth of the opening of the gate—ten cubits, the length of the gate—thirteen cubits;
Takhang kâennae hai a bangnue teh adangka dong hra, rasang dong hlaikathum a pha.
12 and a border before the little chambers—one cubit, and one cubit [is] the border on this side, and the little chamber—six cubits on this side, and six cubits on that side.
Rakhan kathounge a hmalah avangvanglah thingphek ka tha e dong touh ao. Avangvanglah kaawm e rakhan kathoungnaw teh a yung, a phen dong taruk touh rip a pha.
13 And he measures the gate from the roof of the [one] little chamber to the roof of another; the breadth—twenty-five cubits, opening opposite opening.
Kâennae tâconae longkha hah a bangnue teh, a lathueng e rakhan hoi avanglae rakhan totouh dong 25 touh a kaw, takhang hoi takhang be a kâkuet.
14 And he makes the posts of sixty cubits, even to the post of the court, the gate all around;
Hahoi longkha khom a bangnue teh dong 60 touh a rasang. Kâennae tâconae, thongma petkâkalup e hah longkha e a rahim lah kaw sak e lah ao.
15 and by the front of the gate of the entrance, by the front of the porch of the inner gate—fifty cubits;
Hahoi longkha alawilah, tengkatoe e hoi takhang athungpoung lae rahak teh dong 50 touh a pha.
16 and narrow windows [are] in the little chambers, and in their posts on the inside of the gate all around—and so to the arches—and windows all around on the inside, and palm-trees [are] on the post.
Hahoi takhang imthungkhu lah petkâkalup lah paawng thai hoeh e hlalangaw ao. A rahak e khom hoi im e alawilah haiyah, athunglah haiyah, petkâkalup lah hlalangaw ao teh, a khom dawkvah, samtuekung meikaphawknaw ao awh.
17 And he brings me into the outer court, and behold, chambers and a pavement made for the court all around—thirty chambers on the pavement—
Thongma lae alawilah, na ceikhai teh, thongma petkâkalup e dawk rakhan hoi talung phai e a o, talung phai e van vah, rakhan 30 touh ao.
18 and the pavement to the side of the gates, corresponding to the length of the gates, [is] the lower pavement;
Longkha teh talung hoi phai e doeh, longkha hoi kâvan lah phai e doeh, talung phai e teh a rahimhnawn lah doeh.
19 and he measures the breadth from before the lower gate, to the front of the inner court, on the outside—one hundred cubits, eastward and northward.
Hathnukkhu, a rahim lae takhang apasuek koe hoi athunglah hoi thongma alawilah totouh, a bangnue teh a kaw e teh kanîtho lahoi atung lah dong 100 touh rahak ao.
20 As for the gate of the outer court whose front [is] northward, he has measured its length and its breadth;
Thongma alawilae ni hai, kâen tâconae atunglah a kangvawi teh, rasang hoi adangka a bangnue.
21 and its little chambers, three on this side and three on that side, and its posts and its arches have been according to the measure of the first gate, its length [is] fifty cubits, and breadth [is] twenty-five by the cubit;
Karingkung e rakhan avangvanglah kathum touh ao teh, longkha rahim lae hoi kâen tâconae takhang koe kaawm e naw patetlah doeh ao awh. A yung dong 50, adangka dong 25 touh doeh.
22 and its windows, and its arches, and its palm-trees [are] according to the measure of the gate whose face [is] eastward, and they go up on it by seven steps, and its arches [are] before them.
Rakhan kalenpounge hoi hlalangawnaw hoi samtuekung meinaw hah Kanîtholae longkha koe kaawmnaw patetlah doeh ao awh. Longkha totouh, luennae lakhout sari touh ao teh, rakhan vaikhap teh a thung lah ao.
23 And the gate of the inner court [is] opposite the gate at the north and at the east; and he measures from gate to gate—one hundred cubits.
Kanîtholah kaawm e patetlah atunglae longkha phekkadangka lae thung rapan longkha ao. Takhang buet touh hoi buet touh dong 100 touh a kâhla.
24 And he causes me to go southward, and behold, a gate southward, and he has measured its posts and its arches according to these measurements;
Hathnukkhu akalah na ceikhai teh, akalae longkha ka hmu, khomnaw vaikhapnaw bangnue teh alouke lae hoi rei kâvan lah ao awh.
25 and windows [are] in it and in its arches all around, like these windows, the length—fifty cubits, and the breadth—twenty-five cubits;
Ahmaloe e hlalangaw patetlah hlalangawnaw, vaikhapnaw ao awh teh, ayung dong 50, adangka dong 25 touh a pha.
26 and seven steps [are] its ascent, and its arches [are] before them, and palm-trees [are] in it, one on this side and one on that side, on its posts;
Lakhout sari touh dawk hoi luen e lah a o, vaikhapnaw teh, khalai hoi sue touh lah ao awh. Avangvang lae khomnaw dawk samtuekung mei a thuk awh.
27 and the gate of the inner court [is] southward, and he measures from gate to gate southward, one hundred cubits.
Akalah a kangvawi lahoi athung kâen tâconae longkha ao. Akalae kâen tâconae longkha rahak a bangnue teh dong 100 touh a kâhla.
28 And he brings me into the inner court by the south gate, and he measures the south gate according to these measurements;
Akalae kâen tâconae athung lae thongma dawk na kâenkhai teh, bangnuenae hoi akalae longkha hah a bangnue.
29 and its little chambers, and its posts, and its arches [are] according to these measurements, and windows [are] in it and in its arches all around; the length—fifty cubits, and the breadth—twenty-five cubits.
Rakhan kathoungnaw, khomnaw, vaikhapnaw teh ahmaloe e hoi rei a kâvan awh. Hlalangawnaw ao teh petkâkalup lah vaikhap hai ao. A yung dong 50, adangka dong 25 touh a pha.
30 As for the arches all around, the length—twenty-five cubits, and the breadth—five cubits;
Petkâkalup e vaikhapnaw hai ayung dong 25, adangka dong 5 touh a pha.
31 and its arches [are] toward the outer court, and palm-trees [are] on its posts, and eight steps [are] its ascent.
Vaikhapnaw ni alawilah thongma koelah a kangvawi awh teh, khomnaw dawk samtuekung mei a thuk awh, Lakhout taroe touh dawk hoi luen e lah ao.
32 And he brings me into the inner court eastward, and he measures the gate according to these measurements;
Kanîtholah athung lae thongma thung vah a ceikhai teh haw e longkha hah ahmaloe e hoi rei kâvan lah a bangnue.
33 and its little chambers, and its posts, and its arches [are] according to these measurements: and windows [are] in it and in its arches all around, the length—fifty cubits, and the breadth—twenty-five cubits;
Rakhan kathoungnaw, khomnaw, vaikhapnaw teh ahmaloe e hoi sue touh lah doeh ao awh. Longkha petkâkalup e dawk thoseh, vaikhap dawk thoseh, hlalangaw ao teh, ayung dong 50, adangka dong 25 touh a pha.
34 and its arches [are] toward the outer court, and palm-trees [are] toward its posts, on this side and on that side, and eight steps [are] its ascent.
Vaikhapnaw teh alawilah thongma koelah a kangvawi awh teh, avangvang lae khomnaw dawkvah, samtuekung mei hah a thuk awh. Lakhout taroe touh dawk hoi luen e lah ao.
35 And he brings me into the north gate, and has measured according to these measurements;
Atunglae longkha koe bout na ceikhai teh, ouk a bangnue e patetlah a bangnue.
36 its little chambers, its posts, and its arches; and windows [are] in it all around: the length—fifty cubits, and the breadth—twenty-five cubits;
Rakhan kathoungnaw, khomnaw, vaikhapnaw petkâkalup lah hlalangawnaw hai ao. A yung dong 50, adangka dong 25 touh a pha.
37 and its posts [are] toward the outer court, and palm-trees [are] on its posts, on this side and on that side, and eight steps [are] its ascent.
Takhang khomnaw, vaikhapnaw teh alawilah thongma koelah a kangvawi awh, takhang rahim, hi lahoi avanglah samtuekung mei hah ao. Lakhout taroe touh dawk hoi luen e lah ao.
38 And the chamber and its opening [is] by the posts of the gates, there they purge the burnt-offering.
Hmaisawi e saring hah tui hoi pâsu nahane rakhannaw, kâennae naw teh, hote takhang e vaikhap dawkvah ao.
39 And in the porch of the gate [are] two tables on this side and two tables on that side, to slaughter on them the burnt-offering, and the sin-offering, and the guilt-offering;
Hmaisawi thuengnae, yontha thuengnae, kâtapoe thuengnae sathei thei hanelah, kâennae takhangnaw teh hote vaikhap avangvanglah caboi kahni touh lengkaleng ao.
40 and at the side without, at the going up to the opening of the north gate, [are] two tables; and at the other side that [is] at the porch of the gate, [are] two tables;
Atunglae longkha koe luennae alawilah caboi kahni touh ao. Vaikhap koe takhang avangvanglah haiyah caboi kahni touh lengkaleng ao.
41 four tables [are] on this side and four tables on that side, at the side of the gate, eight tables on which they slaughter.
Takhang avangvanglah caboi pali touh a o, avanglah hai caboi pali touh bout a o, thuengnae sathei ouk theinae teh caboi taroe touh a pha.
42 And the four tables for burnt-offering [are] of hewn stone: the length—one cubit and a half, and the breadth—one cubit and a half, and the height—one cubit; they place on them the instruments with which they slaughter the burnt-offering and the sacrifice.
Hmaisawi thuengnae sathei hanelah, caboi pali touh e naw teh, talung hoi sak e, ayung dong touh hoi khap touh, adangka dong touh hoi khap touh, a rasang dong touh a pha, hote caboi van vah, hmaisawi thueng nahane sathei thei nahane puengcangnaw hah a van a hruek awh.
43 And the boundaries [are] one handbreadth, prepared within all around: and the flesh of the offering [is] on the tables.
Caboi van petkâkalup lah a kaw e kuttabei hlawk touh a rai pou a yep awh teh, caboi van vah thueng hane sathei hah a hruek awh.
44 And on the outside of the inner gate [are] chambers of the singers, in the inner court, that [are] at the side of the north gate, and their fronts [are] southward, one at the side of the east gate [with] front northward.
Hahoi athung e thongma dawkvah, na kâenkhai, khenhaw, athung e thongma dawk imrakhan kahni touh ao. Rakhan buet touh e teh, atunglae takhang teng ao teh akalah a kangvawi. Rakhan buet touh e teh akalae takhang teng ao teh atunglah a kangvawi.
45 And he speaks to me: “This chamber, whose front [is] southward, [is] for priests keeping charge of the house;
Akalah kangvawi e imrakhan teh im dawkvah thaw ka tawk e vaihmanaw ao nahanelah,
46 and the chamber, whose front [is] northward, [is] for priests keeping charge of the altar: they [are] sons of Zadok, who are drawing near of the sons of Levi to YHWH, to serve Him.”
atunglah kangvawi e hete imrakhan teh, thuengnae koe lah thaw ka tawk e vaihmanaw ao nahanelah hete thaw heh Zadok capa hoi Levih canaw thung dawk hoi ni tawk hanelah, BAWIPA koe ouk kahnaikungnaw hah doeh, telah a ti.
47 And he measures the court: the length—one hundred cubits, and the breadth—one hundred cubits, square, and the altar [is] before the house.
Hahoi thongma hah a bangnue teh, ayung dong 100, adangka dong 100, petkâkalup lah khoungroe teh thongma a lungui vah ao.
48 And he brings me to the porch of the house, and he measures the post of the porch—five cubits on this side and five cubits on that side, and the breadth of the gate—three cubits on this side and three cubits on that side;
Im van vah na ceikhai teh, takhang kahni touh e a bangnue teh akaw e dong panga touh, avangvang lae takhang adangka dong thum touh reirei a pha.
49 the length of the porch—twenty cubits, and the breadth—eleven [[or twelve]] cubits; and they go up to it by the [[ten]] steps. And pillars [are] by the posts, one on this side and one on that side.
