Ezekiel 39
1 “And you, son of man, prophesy concerning Gog, and you have said, Thus said Lord YHWH: Behold, I [am] against you, O Gog, Chief prince of [[or prince of Rosh, ]] Meshech and Tubal,
De aceea, tu fiu al omului, profețește împotriva lui Gog și spune: Astfel spune Domnul DUMNEZEU: Iată, eu [sunt] împotriva ta, Gog, cel dintâi prinț al Meșecului și al Tubalului;
2 And have turned you back, and enticed you, And caused you to come up from the sides of the north, And brought you in against mountains of Israel,
Și te voi întoarce și voi lăsa doar a șasea parte din tine și te voi face să te urci din părțile de nord și te voi aduce pe munții lui Israel;
3 And have struck your bow out of your left hand, Indeed, I cause your arrows to fall out of your right.
Și îți voi lovi arcul din stânga ta și voi face să îți cadă săgețile din dreapta ta.
4 You fall on mountains of Israel, You, and all your bands, and the peoples who [are] with you, To ravenous bird—a bird of every wing, And [to] a beast of the field, I have given you for food.
Vei cădea pe munții lui Israel, tu și toate cetele tale și popoarele care [sunt] cu tine; te voi da păsărilor răpitoare de fiecare fel și fiarelor câmpului să fii mâncat.
5 You fall on the face of the field, for I have spoken, A declaration of Lord YHWH.
Vei cădea în câmp deschis, pentru că eu am vorbit [aceasta], spune Domnul DUMNEZEU.
6 And I have sent a fire against Magog, And against the confident inhabitants of the islands, And they have known that I [am] YHWH.
Și voi trimite un foc asupra Magogului și printre cei care locuiesc fără grijă în insule; și vor cunoaște că eu [sunt] DOMNUL.
7 And I make My holy Name known in the midst of My people Israel, And I do not defile My holy Name anymore, And the nations have known that I, YHWH, the Holy One, [am] in Israel.
Astfel voi face cunoscut numele meu sfânt în mijlocul poporului meu Israel; și nu [îi] voi mai lăsa să pângărească numele meu sfânt; și păgânii vor cunoaște că eu [sunt] DOMNUL, Cel Sfânt în Israel.
8 Behold, it has come, and it has been done, A declaration of Lord YHWH, It [is] the day of which I spoke.
Iată, aceasta a venit și s-a făcut, spune Domnul DUMNEZEU; aceasta [este] ziua despre care am vorbit.
9 And those dwelling [in the] cities of Israel have gone out, And they have burned and kindled [a fire], With armor, and shield, and buckler, With bow, and with arrows, And with hand weapon, and with javelin, And they have caused a fire to burn seven years with them,
Și cei ce locuiesc în cetățile lui Israel vor ieși și le vor pune pe foc, vor arde armele, deopotrivă scuturile și platoșele, arcurile și săgețile și ciomegele și sulițele și le vor arde cu foc șapte ani;
10 And they do not take wood out of the field, Nor do they hew out of the forests, For they cause the fire to burn with armor, And they have spoiled their spoilers, And they have plundered their plunderers, A declaration of Lord YHWH.
Astfel încât nu vor lua lemn de pe câmp, nici nu vor tăia din păduri, pentru că vor arde armele cu foc; și vor prăda pe cei care i-au prădat și vor jefui pe cei care i-au jefuit, spune Domnul DUMNEZEU.
11 And it has come to pass in that day, I give a place to Gog there—a grave in Israel, the valley of those passing by, east of the sea, and it is stopping those passing by, and they have buried there Gog, and all his multitude, and have cried, O valley of the multitude of Gog!
Și se va întâmpla în acea zi, [că] voi da lui Gog un loc pentru morminte în Israel, valea trecătorilor spre estul mării; și aceasta va astupa [nasurile] trecătorilor; și acolo vor îngropa pe Gog și toată mulțimea lui; și [o] vor numi Valea lui Hamon-Gog.
12 And the house of Israel has buried them—in order to cleanse the land—seven months.
Și șapte luni îi va îngropa casa lui Israel, ca să curețe pământul.
13 Indeed, all the people of the land have buried them, and it has been to them for a name—the day of My being honored—a declaration of Lord YHWH.
Da, tot poporul țării [îi] va îngropa; și va fi pentru ei un renume, ziua în care voi fi glorificat, spune Domnul DUMNEZEU.
14 And they separate men for continual employment, with those passing through, passing on through the land, burying those who are left on the face of the earth, to cleanse it. At the end of seven months they search.
Și vor pune deoparte oameni [care] să lucreze continuu, să treacă prin țară pentru a îngropa împreună cu trecătorii pe cei care rămân pe fața pământului, ca să o curețe; la sfârșitul a șapte luni vor cerceta.
15 And those passing by have passed through the land, and seen a bone of man, and one has constructed a sign near it until those burying have buried it in the valley of the multitude of Gog.
Și trecătorii [care] trec prin țară, când [vreunul] vede un os de om, atunci să ridice un semn lângă el, până groparii îl vor fi îngropat în valea lui Hamon-Gog.
16 And also the name of the city [is] The Multitude; and they have cleansed the land.
Și de asemenea numele cetății [va fi] Hamona. Astfel vor curăți pământul.
17 And you, son of man, thus said Lord YHWH: Say to the bird—every wing, and to every beast of the field: Be assembled and come in, Be gathered from all around, For My sacrifice that I am sacrificing for you, A great sacrifice on mountains of Israel, And you have eaten flesh, and drunk blood.
Și tu fiu al omului, astfel spune Domnul DUMNEZEU: Vorbește fiecărei păsări înaripate și tuturor fiarelor câmpului: Adunați-vă și veniți; strângeți-vă din fiecare parte la sacrificiul meu pe care îl sacrific pentru voi, un mare sacrificiu pe munții lui Israel, ca să mâncați carne și să beți sânge.
18 You eat [the] flesh of [the] mighty, And you drink [the] blood of [the] princes of the earth, Of rams, of lambs, and of male goats, Of calves, fatlings of Bashan—all of them.
Să mâncați carnea celor puternici și să beți sângele prinților pământului, a berbecilor, a mieilor și a caprelor, a taurilor, cu toate vitele îngrășate ale Basanului.
19 And you have eaten fat to satiety, And you have drunk blood—to drunkenness, Of My sacrifice that I sacrificed for you.
Și veți mânca grăsime până veți fi săturați și veți bea sânge până veți fi beți, din sacrificiul meu pe care l-am sacrificat pentru voi.
20 And you have been satisfied at My table with horse and rider, Mighty man, and every man of war, A declaration of Lord YHWH.
Astfel veți fi săturați la masa mea cu cai și care, cu războinici și cu toți bărbații de război, spune Domnul DUMNEZEU.
21 And I have given My glory among nations, And all the nations have seen My judgment that I have done, And My hand that I have laid on them.
Și eu voi pune gloria mea printre păgâni și toți păgânii vor vedea judecata mea pe care am făcut-o și mâna mea pe care am pus-o asupra lor.
22 And the house of Israel has known that I [am] their God YHWH, From that day and from now on.
Astfel casa lui Israel va cunoaște că eu [sunt] DOMNUL Dumnezeul lor din acea zi înainte.
23 And the nations have known That the house of Israel was removed for their iniquity, Because they have trespassed against Me, And I hide My face from them, And give them into the hand of their adversaries, And they fall by sword—all of them.
Și păgânii vor cunoaște că [ea], casa lui Israel, a mers în captivitate pentru nelegiuirea lor, pentru că au încălcat [legea] împotriva mea, de aceea mi-am ascuns fața de la ei și i-am dat în mâna dușmanilor lor, astfel că au căzut toți prin sabie.
24 According to their uncleanness, And according to their transgressions, I have done with them, And I hide My face from them.
Conform cu necurăția lor și conform cu fărădelegile lor le-am făcut și mi-am ascuns fața de la ei.
25 Therefore, thus said Lord YHWH: Now I bring back the captivity of Jacob, And I have pitied all the house of Israel, And have been zealous for My holy Name.
De aceea astfel spune Domnul DUMNEZEU: Acum voi întoarce din nou pe captivii lui Iacob și voi avea milă de toată casa lui Israel și voi fi gelos pentru numele meu cel sfânt;
26 And they have forgotten their shame, And all their trespass that they trespassed against Me, In their dwelling on their land confidently and none troubling.
După ce își vor fi purtat rușinea și toate fărădelegile lor prin care au încălcat legea împotriva mea, când locuiau în siguranță în țara lor și nimeni nu îi înfricoșa.
27 In My bringing them back from the peoples, I have assembled them from the lands of their enemies, And I have been sanctified in them before the eyes of the many nations,
După ce îi voi fi întors din nou dintre popoare și îi voi fi adunat din țările dușmanilor lor și voi fi sfințit în ei înaintea ochilor multor națiuni;
28 And they have known that I [am] their God YHWH, In My removing them to the nations, And I have gathered them to their land, And I leave none of them there anymore.
Atunci vor cunoaște că eu [sunt] DOMNUL Dumnezeul lor, care i-a făcut să fie duși în captivitate printre păgâni; dar i-am adunat [apoi] în propria lor țară și nu am mai lăsat pe niciunul dintre ei acolo,
29 And I do not hide My face from them anymore, In that I have poured out My Spirit on the house of Israel, A declaration of Lord YHWH!”
Nici nu îmi voi mai ascunde fața de la ei, pentru că am turnat duhul meu peste casa lui Israel, spune DOMNUL Dumnezeu.
