Ezekiel 38
1 And there is a word of YHWH to me, saying,
Y fue palabra de Jehová a mí, diciendo:
2 “Son of man, set your face toward Gog, of the land of Magog, chief prince of [[or prince of Rosh, ]] Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy concerning him,
Hijo del hombre, pon tu rostro contra Gog en tierra de Magog, príncipe de la cabecera de Mesec, y Tubal, y profetiza sobre él,
3 and you have said, Thus says Lord YHWH: Behold, I [am] against you, O Gog, Chief prince of [[or prince of Rosh, ]] Meshech and Tubal,
Y dí: Así dijo el Señor Jehová: He aquí que yo a ti, Gog, príncipe de la cabecera de Mesec, y Tubal.
4 And I have turned you back, And I have put hooks in your jaws, And have brought you out, and all your force, Horses and horsemen, All of them clothed in perfection, A numerous assembly, [with] buckler and shield, All of them handling swords.
Y yo te quebrantaré, y pondré anzuelos en tus quijadas, y sacarte he, a ti, y a todo tu ejército, tus caballos y tus caballeros vestidos de todo, todos ellos: grande multitud con paveses y escudos, teniendo espadas todos ellos.
5 Persia, Cush, and Phut, with them, All of them [with] shield and helmet.
Persia, y Etiopía, y Libia con ellos, todos ellos con escudos y almetes.
6 Gomer and all its bands, The house of Togarmah [from] the sides of the north, And all its bands, many peoples with you,
Gomer, y todas sus compañías, la casa de Togorma, que habitan a los lados del norte, y todas sus compañías, pueblos muchos contigo.
7 Be prepared, indeed, prepare yourself, You and all your assemblies who are assembled to you, And you have been for a watch for them.
Aparéjate, y apercíbete tú, y toda tu multitud, que se han juntado a ti, y séles por guarda.
8 After many days you are appointed, In the latter end of the years you come into a land brought back from sword—Gathered out of many peoples, On mountains of Israel, That have been for a continuous ruin, And it has been brought out from the peoples, And all of them have dwelt safely.
De aquí a muchos días tú serás visitado: a cabo de años vendrás a la tierra quebrantada por espada, juntada de muchos pueblos, a los montes de Israel, que siempre fueron para asolamiento; y ella de pueblos fue sacada, y todos ellos morarán confiadamente.
9 And you have gone up—you come in as desolation, You are as a cloud to cover the land, You and all your bands, and many peoples with you.
Y tú subirás: vendrás como tempestad, como nublado para cubrir la tierra: serás tú, y todas tus compañías, y muchos pueblos contigo.
10 Thus said Lord YHWH: And it has come to pass in that day, Things come up on your heart, And you have thought an evil thought,
Así dijo el Señor Jehová: Y será en aquel día, que subirán palabras en tu corazón, y pensarás pensamiento malo,
11 And you have said: I go up over a land of open places, I go to those at rest, dwelling confidently, All of them are dwelling without walls, And they have no bar and doors—
Y dirás: Subiré contra tierra de aldeas, vendré contra reposadas, y que habitan confiadamente: todos estos habitan sin muro, no tienen cerraduras ni puertas:
12 To take a spoil, and to take a prey, To turn back your hand on inhabited ruins, And on a people gathered out of nations, Making livestock and substance, Dwelling on a high part of the land.
Para despojar despojos, y para tomar presa, para tornar tu mano sobre las tierras desiertas ya pobladas, y sobre el pueblo recogido de las naciones, que ya hace ganados y posesiones, y que moran en el ombligo de la tierra.
13 Sheba, and Dedan, and merchants of Tarshish, And all its young lions say to you, Are you coming to take spoil? Have you assembled your assembly to take prey? To carry away silver and gold? To take away livestock and substance? To take a great spoil?
Sabá y Dedán, y los mercaderes de Társis, y todos sus leoncillos te dirán: ¿Has venido a despojar despojos? ¿has juntado tu multitud para tomar presa, para quitar plata y oro, para tomar ganados y posesiones, para despojar grandes despojos?
14 Therefore, prophesy, son of man, and you have said to Gog, Thus said Lord YHWH: In that day, in the dwelling of My people Israel safely, Do you not know?
Por tanto profetiza, hijo del hombre, y di a Gog: Así dijo el Señor Jehová: En aquel tiempo, cuando mi pueblo Israel habitará seguramente, ¿no lo sabrás tú?
15 And you have come in out of your place, From the sides of the north, You and many peoples with you, Riding on horses—all of them, A great assembly, and a numerous force.
Y vendrás de tu lugar, de las partes del norte, tú, y muchos pueblos contigo, todos ellos a caballo, grande compañía, y mucho ejército:
16 And you have come up against My people Israel, As a cloud to cover the land, It is in the latter end of the days, And I have brought you in against My land, In order that the nations may know Me, In My being sanctified in you before their eyes, O Gog.
Y subirás contra mi pueblo Israel, como nublado para cubrir la tierra: será esto al cabo de los días; y yo te traeré sobre mi tierra, para que las gentes me conozcan, cuando fuere santificado en ti delante de sus ojos, o! Gog.
17 Thus said Lord YHWH: Are you he of whom I spoke in former days, By the hand of My servants, prophets of Israel, Who were prophesying [for] years in those days, To bring you in against them?
Así dijo el Señor Jehová: ¿No eres tú aquel de quien yo hablé en los días antiguos por mis siervos los profetas de Israel, que profetizaron en aquellos tiempos, que yo te había de traer sobre ellos?
18 And it has come to pass in that day, In the day of the coming in of Gog against the land of Israel, A declaration of Lord YHWH, My fury comes up in My face,
Y será en aquel tiempo, cuando vendrá Gog contra la tierra de Israel, dijo el Señor Jehová, que mi ira subirá por mi enojo.
19 And in My zeal, in the fire of My wrath, I have spoken: Is there not a great rushing on the land of Israel in that day?
Porque he hablado en mi zelo, y en el fuego de mi ira, que en aquel tiempo habrá gran temblor sobre la tierra de Israel:
20 And rushed from My presence have fishes of the sea, And the bird of the heavens, And the beast of the field, And every creeping thing that is creeping on the ground, And all men who [are] on the face of the ground, And the mountains have been thrown down, And the ascents have fallen, And every wall falls to the earth.
Que los peces de la mar, y las aves del cielo, y las bestias del campo, y toda serpiente que anda arrastrando sobre la tierra, y todos los hombres que están sobre la haz de la tierra, temblarán delante de mi presencia; y los montes se arruinarán, y los escalones caerán, y todo muro caerá a tierra.
21 And I have called for a sword against him throughout all My mountains, A declaration of Lord YHWH, The sword of each is against his brother.
Y en todos mis montes llamaré espada contra él, dijo el Señor Jehová: la espada de cada cual será contra su hermano.
22 And I have judged him with pestilence and with blood, And an overflowing rain and hailstones, I rain fire and brimstone on him, and on his bands, And on many peoples who [are] with him.
Y yo litigaré con él con pestilencia, y con sangre; y haré llover turbión de lluvia, y piedras de granizo, fuego y azufre sobre él, y sobre sus compañías, y sobre los muchos pueblos que serán con él.
23 And I have magnified Myself, and sanctified Myself, And I have been known before the eyes of many nations, And they have known that I [am] YHWH!”
Y seré engrandecido y santificado, y seré conocido en ojos de muchas naciones y sabrán que yo soy Jehová.
