Ezekiel 38
1 And there is a word of YHWH to me, saying,

2 “Son of man, set your face toward Gog, of the land of Magog, chief prince of [[or prince of Rosh, ]] Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy concerning him,

3 and you have said, Thus says Lord YHWH: Behold, I [am] against you, O Gog, Chief prince of [[or prince of Rosh, ]] Meshech and Tubal,
Bawipa Jehovah ni hettelah a dei. Khenhaw! Rosh, Meshek, hoi Tubal bawi Gog, nang hateh na taran.
4 And I have turned you back, And I have put hooks in your jaws, And have brought you out, and all your force, Horses and horsemen, All of them clothed in perfection, A numerous assembly, [with] buckler and shield, All of them handling swords.

5 Persia, Cush, and Phut, with them, All of them [with] shield and helmet.
Persia, Ethiopia, Libia hoi abuemlah bahling hoi sumluhuem kaawmnaw hah,
6 Gomer and all its bands, The house of Togarmah [from] the sides of the north, And all its bands, many peoples with you,
Gomer hoi a ransahu hahoi Togarmah, imthung hoi atunglae ram a poutnae, ransahu pueng hoi nang koe kaawm e tami moikapap hoi a kâbang awh han.
7 Be prepared, indeed, prepare yourself, You and all your assemblies who are assembled to you, And you have been for a watch for them.
Kâhruetcuet, coungkacoe kârakueng lahoi awm, nang nama hoi nang koe kamkhueng e tamihunaw hoi ahnimouh karingkung lah awmh.
8 After many days you are appointed, In the latter end of the years you come into a land brought back from sword—Gathered out of many peoples, On mountains of Israel, That have been for a continuous ruin, And it has been brought out from the peoples, And all of them have dwelt safely.
Hnin moi a loum hnukkhu, nang teh uknae kâ na tawn han, tahloi dawk hoi na hlout vaiteh, miphunnaw thung hoi rasa e khoca moikasawlah kingdi lah kaawm e, Isarel monnaw lathueng, bout a tâcokhai e khocanaw ao awhnae koe, hma lae tueng dawk nang ni na tuk han. Hote khocanaw teh, miphunnaw thung dawk hoi tâcokhai e lah ao teh ram pueng karoumcalah ao toteh,
9 And you have gone up—you come in as desolation, You are as a cloud to cover the land, You and all your bands, and many peoples with you.
hahoi na luen vaiteh, tûilî patetlah na tho han, nang koe kaawm e ransahu pueng hoi, nang koevah tami moikapap e hah tâmai ni ram muen kayo e patetlah na o awh han.
10 Thus said Lord YHWH: And it has come to pass in that day, Things come up on your heart, And you have thought an evil thought,
Hahoi Bawipa Jehovah ni hettelah a dei, hote hnin dawk teh, nang ni bangpueng na pouk vaiteh, kahawihoehe pouknae na tawn vaiteh,
11 And you have said: I go up over a land of open places, I go to those at rest, dwelling confidently, All of them are dwelling without walls, And they have no bar and doors—
rapan ka tawn hoeh e kho hoi ram hah ka lawp han, karoumcalah kaawm rumram e hah la ao awh vaiteh, rapan tawn laipalah kho ka sak e longkha hoi tarennae sum ka tawn hoeh e hah, ka tuk han telah na lung dawk hoi na ti han.
12 To take a spoil, and to take a prey, To turn back your hand on inhabited ruins, And on a people gathered out of nations, Making livestock and substance, Dwelling on a high part of the land.
Nangmae na hnopainaw na lawp awh han. Ahmaloe kingdi ni teh, atu tami a onae hmuennaw hah miphun pueng thung hoi na pâkhueng vaiteh, saring hoi hnopai moikapap a tawn awh teh, ram lungui dawk kaawmnaw thoseh, ka tuk han telah na pouk han.
13 Sheba, and Dedan, and merchants of Tarshish, And all its young lions say to you, Are you coming to take spoil? Have you assembled your assembly to take prey? To carry away silver and gold? To take away livestock and substance? To take a great spoil?
Sheba hoi Dedan, Tarshish hno kayawtnaw hoi Sendektancanaw ni, nang koevah hnopai la hanelah na tho toung maw, hnopainaw lawp hanelah na tamihunaw na pâkhueng toe khe. Ngun hoi sui saringhu hoi hnopai moikapap lawp pouh vaiteh, na ka lat pouh hane doeh khe, na ti pouh han telah ati.
14 Therefore, prophesy, son of man, and you have said to Gog, Thus said Lord YHWH: In that day, in the dwelling of My people Israel safely, Do you not know?
Hatdawkvah, tami capa lawk pâpho haw, Gog koevah, Bawipa Jehovah ni hettelah a dei, hote hnin, ka tami Isarelnaw karoumcalah ao awh nahane hnin hah na panuek hoeh na maw.
15 And you have come in out of your place, From the sides of the north, You and many peoples with you, Riding on horses—all of them, A great assembly, and a numerous force.
Atunglae ram a poutnae koe e hmuen koehoi nang hoi nama koe tami moikapap, marang dawk kâcui e ka lentoe e tamihu, athakaawme ransahu hoi a tho awh han.
16 And you have come up against My people Israel, As a cloud to cover the land, It is in the latter end of the days, And I have brought you in against My land, In order that the nations may know Me, In My being sanctified in you before their eyes, O Gog.
Tâmai ni ram muen a ramuk e patetlah ka tami Isarelnaw taranlahoi na tho han, atueng a hnukteng toteh, kaie ram tuk hanelah na ceikhai awh han, Oe! Gog ahnimae hmaitung nang dawk thoung sak e lah ao toteh, miphunnaw ni na panue awh han.
17 Thus said Lord YHWH: Are you he of whom I spoke in former days, By the hand of My servants, prophets of Israel, Who were prophesying [for] years in those days, To bring you in against them?
Hahoi Bawipa Jehovah ni hettelah a dei, ayan hoi kaie thaw katawkkung Isarel profetnaw, hatnae kum moikasaw lah lawk ouk ka dei boi e naw ni, ahnimouh tuk hanelah ka ceikhai awh nahane kong ouk a dei awh e hateh nang raw na maw.
18 And it has come to pass in that day, In the day of the coming in of Gog against the land of Israel, A declaration of Lord YHWH, My fury comes up in My face,
Hote hnin dawkvah, Isarel ram tuk hanelah Gog a tho toteh, ka lungkhueknae ka minhmai ka kamnue sak han, telah Bawipa Jehovah ni a dei.
19 And in My zeal, in the fire of My wrath, I have spoken: Is there not a great rushing on the land of Israel in that day?

20 And rushed from My presence have fishes of the sea, And the bird of the heavens, And the beast of the field, And every creeping thing that is creeping on the ground, And all men who [are] on the face of the ground, And the mountains have been thrown down, And the ascents have fallen, And every wall falls to the earth.
Talî dawk e tanga hoi kalvan tavanaw hoi moithang hoi talai van dawk a vonpui hoi kâva e saringnaw hoi talai dawk e tami pueng ka hmalah a pâyaw awh han. Mon hah rahnoum sak e lah ao vaiteh, lungha hah a tip han, kalupnae rapan pueng talai dawk koung a tip han, telah ka dei.
21 And I have called for a sword against him throughout all My mountains, A declaration of Lord YHWH, The sword of each is against his brother.
Kaie monnaw dawk Gog tuk hanelah tahloi hah ka kaw vaiteh, tami pueng e tahloi ni a hmaunawngha hah a thut han telah Bawipa Jehovah ni a dei.
22 And I have judged him with pestilence and with blood, And an overflowing rain and hailstones, I rain fire and brimstone on him, and on his bands, And on many peoples who [are] with him.

23 And I have magnified Myself, and sanctified Myself, And I have been known before the eyes of many nations, And they have known that I [am] YHWH!”
