Ezekiel 38
1 And there is a word of YHWH to me, saying,
Yehova anandiyankhula kuti:
2 “Son of man, set your face toward Gog, of the land of Magog, chief prince of [[or prince of Rosh, ]] Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy concerning him,
“Iwe mwana wa munthu, tembenukira kwa Gogi, wa ku dziko la Magogi, amene ali kalonga wamkulu wa mzinda wa Mesaki ndi Tubala. Umuyimbe mlandu.
3 and you have said, Thus says Lord YHWH: Behold, I [am] against you, O Gog, Chief prince of [[or prince of Rosh, ]] Meshech and Tubal,
Umuwuze mawu a Ine Ambuye Yehova akuti, ‘Ine ndikudana nawe, iwe Gogi, kalonga wamkulu wa ku Mesaki ndi Tubala.
4 And I have turned you back, And I have put hooks in your jaws, And have brought you out, and all your force, Horses and horsemen, All of them clothed in perfection, A numerous assembly, [with] buckler and shield, All of them handling swords.
Ndidzakuzunguza, ndidzakukola ndi mbedza mʼkamwa mwako. Ndidzakutulutsa iweyo pamodzi ndi gulu lako lonse la nkhondo, akavalo ako ndi okwerapo ake. Onse adzakhala atanyamula zida za nkhondo, zishango ndi malihawo ndipo malupanga awo adzakhala osolola.
5 Persia, Cush, and Phut, with them, All of them [with] shield and helmet.
Pamodzi ndi iwowo, padzakhalanso ankhondo a ku Perisiya, ku Kusi, ndi ku Puti. Onsewa adzakhala atanyamula zishango ndi kuvala zipewa zankhondo.
6 Gomer and all its bands, The house of Togarmah [from] the sides of the north, And all its bands, many peoples with you,
Padzakhalanso Gomeri pamodzi ndi ankhondo ake onse ndiponso banja la Togarima ndi gulu lake lonse lankhondo lochokera kutali kumpoto. Padzakhaladi mitundu yambiri ya anthu pamodzi ndi iwe.
7 Be prepared, indeed, prepare yourself, You and all your assemblies who are assembled to you, And you have been for a watch for them.
“‘Konzekani! Mukhaledi okonzeka, iweyo pamodzi ndi gulu lonse la nkhondo limene lakusonkhanira. Iweyo udzawatsogolera pokamenya nkhondo.
8 After many days you are appointed, In the latter end of the years you come into a land brought back from sword—Gathered out of many peoples, On mountains of Israel, That have been for a continuous ruin, And it has been brought out from the peoples, And all of them have dwelt safely.
Pakapita masiku ambiri ndidzakuyitana. Zaka zikubwerazi ndidzakulowetsa mʼdziko limene lapulumuka ku nkhondo. Anthu ake anasonkhanitsidwa kuchokera ku mitundu ya anthu ambiri nʼkukakhazikika pa mapiri a Israeli amene kwa nthawi yayitali anali ngati chipululu. Anthu onsewa tsopano akukhala mwa mtendere.
9 And you have gone up—you come in as desolation, You are as a cloud to cover the land, You and all your bands, and many peoples with you.
Tsono iwe pamodzi ndi ankhondo ako onse ndiponso mitundu yambiri ya anthu imene ili nawe mudzabwera ngati mphepo yamkuntho. Mudzaphimba dziko lonse ngati mitambo.
10 Thus said Lord YHWH: And it has come to pass in that day, Things come up on your heart, And you have thought an evil thought,
“Ine Ambuye Yehova ndikuti: Pa tsiku limenelo mu mtima mwako mudzabwera maganizo ofuna kukonzekera kuchita zoyipa.
11 And you have said: I go up over a land of open places, I go to those at rest, dwelling confidently, All of them are dwelling without walls, And they have no bar and doors—
Iwe udzanena kuti, ‘Ndikukathira nkhondo dziko la midzi yopanda mipanda; ndikathira nkhondo anthu okhala mwamtendere, anthu amene satchinjirizidwa ndi mipanda, zipata kapena mipiringidzo.
12 To take a spoil, and to take a prey, To turn back your hand on inhabited ruins, And on a people gathered out of nations, Making livestock and substance, Dwelling on a high part of the land.
Ndipita kukalanda chuma chawo ndi kukafunkha zinthu zawo. Ndidzalimbana ndi midzi imene kale inali mabwinja. Ndikathira nkhondo anthu amene anasonkhanitsidwa kuchokera kwa anthu a mitundu ina. Iwowa ali ndi ziweto zambiri, katundu wochuluka ndiponso amakhala pakatikati pa dziko lapansi.’
13 Sheba, and Dedan, and merchants of Tarshish, And all its young lions say to you, Are you coming to take spoil? Have you assembled your assembly to take prey? To carry away silver and gold? To take away livestock and substance? To take a great spoil?
Anthu a ku Seba, a ku Dedani ndiponso amalonda a ku Tarisisi pamodzi ndi midzi yake yonse adzakufunsa kuti, ‘Kodi wabwera kudzafunkha? Kodi wasonkhanitsa gulu lako la nkhondo kudzalanda chuma, kudzatenga siliva ndi golide, ziweto ndi katundu kuti zikhale zofunkha zochuluka?’”
14 Therefore, prophesy, son of man, and you have said to Gog, Thus said Lord YHWH: In that day, in the dwelling of My people Israel safely, Do you not know?
“Nʼchifukwa chake, iwe mwana wa munthu, nenera ndipo uwuze Gogi kuti, ‘Ine Ambuye Yehova ndikuti: Pa nthawi imene anthu anga adzakhala pa mtendere, iwe udzanyamuka.
15 And you have come in out of your place, From the sides of the north, You and many peoples with you, Riding on horses—all of them, A great assembly, and a numerous force.
Udzabwera kuchokera ku dziko lako kutali kumpoto, iwe pamodzi ndi mitundu yambiri ya anthu imene ili nawe, onse okwera akavalo, gulu lankhondo lalikulu ndi lamphamvu.
16 And you have come up against My people Israel, As a cloud to cover the land, It is in the latter end of the days, And I have brought you in against My land, In order that the nations may know Me, In My being sanctified in you before their eyes, O Gog.
Udzabwera kudzalimbana ndi anthu anga Aisraeli ngati mtambo wophimba dziko. Masiku amenewo, iwe Gogi, ndidzabwera nawe kuti ulimbane ndi dziko langa, kuti anthu a mitundu ina andidziwe Ine, pamene ndidzaonetsa kuyera kwanga pa zimene ndidzakuchite iweyo.
17 Thus said Lord YHWH: Are you he of whom I spoke in former days, By the hand of My servants, prophets of Israel, Who were prophesying [for] years in those days, To bring you in against them?
“‘Ine Ambuye Yehova ndikuti: Kodi iwe si amene ndinayankhula za iwe masiku amakedzana kudzera mwa atumiki anga aneneri a Israeli? Pa zaka zambiri iwo ankalengeza kuti ndidzawutsa iwe kuti udzalimbane ndi Israeli.
18 And it has come to pass in that day, In the day of the coming in of Gog against the land of Israel, A declaration of Lord YHWH, My fury comes up in My face,
Zimene chidzachitika pa tsiku limenelo ndi izi: Gogi akadzathira nkhondo dziko la Israeli, mkwiyo wanga woopsa udzayaka. Ndikutero Ine Ambuye Wamphamvuzonse.
19 And in My zeal, in the fire of My wrath, I have spoken: Is there not a great rushing on the land of Israel in that day?
Chifukwa cha mkwiyo ndi ukali wanga woyakawo Ine ndikunenetsa kuti pa nthawi imeneyo padzakhala chivomerezi chachikulu mʼdziko la Israeli.
20 And rushed from My presence have fishes of the sea, And the bird of the heavens, And the beast of the field, And every creeping thing that is creeping on the ground, And all men who [are] on the face of the ground, And the mountains have been thrown down, And the ascents have fallen, And every wall falls to the earth.
Nsomba za mʼnyanja, mbalame zamumlengalenga, zirombo zakuthengo, cholengedwa chilichonse chimene chimakwawa pansi, ndiponso anthu onse okhala pa dziko lapansi, adzanjenjemera pamaso panga. Mapiri adzangʼambika, malo okwera kwambiri adzagumuka ndipo khoma lililonse lidzagwa pansi.
21 And I have called for a sword against him throughout all My mountains, A declaration of Lord YHWH, The sword of each is against his brother.
Ndidzawutsira Gogi nkhondo kuchokera ku mapiri anga. Ndikutero Ine Ambuye Yehova. Anthu a Gogiyo adzaphana okhaokha ndi malupanga.
22 And I have judged him with pestilence and with blood, And an overflowing rain and hailstones, I rain fire and brimstone on him, and on his bands, And on many peoples who [are] with him.
Ine ndidzamulanga ndi mliri ndi imfa. Ndidzagwetsa mvula yoopsa ya matalala, ndiponso sulufule ndi miyala ya moto pa iye ndi pa asilikali ake ndiponso pa mitundu yambiri ya anthu imene ili naye.
23 And I have magnified Myself, and sanctified Myself, And I have been known before the eyes of many nations, And they have known that I [am] YHWH!”
Motero ndidzadzionetsa kuti ndine wamphamvu ndi woyera. Ndiponso ndidzadziwika pamaso pa anthu a mitundu ina yambiri. Momwemo adzadziwadi kuti Ine ndine Yehova.’”
