Ezekiel 37
1 There has been a hand of YHWH on me, and He takes me forth in [the] Spirit of YHWH, and places me in the midst of the valley, and it is full of bones,
Vino sobre mí la mano de Yahvé: Yahvé me sacó fuera en espíritu, y me colocó en medio de la llanura, la cual estaba llena de huesos.
2 and He causes me to pass over by them, all around, and behold, very many [are] on the face of the valley, and behold—very dry.
Y me hizo pasar junto a ellos, todo en torno; y he aquí que eran numerosísimos. Estaban (tendidos) sobre la superficie de la llanura y secos en extremo.
3 And He says to me, “Son of man, do these bones live?” And I say, “O Lord YHWH, You have known.”
Y me dijo: “Hijo de hombre, ¿acaso volverán a tener vida estos huesos?” Yo respondí: “Yahvé, Señor, Tú lo sabes.”
4 And He says to me, “Prophesy concerning these bones, and you have said to them, O dry bones, hear a word of YHWH!
Entonces me dijo: “Profetiza sobre estos huesos, y diles: ¡Huesos secos, oíd la palabra de Yahvé!
5 Thus said Lord YHWH to these bones: Behold, I am bringing a spirit into you, and you have lived,
Así dice Yahvé a estos huesos: He aquí que os infundiré espíritu y viviréis.
6 and I have given sinews on you, and cause flesh to come up on you, and covered you over with skin, and given a spirit in you, and you have lived, and you have known that I [am] YHWH.”
Os recubriré de nervios, haré crecer carne sobre vosotros, os revestiré de piel y os infundiré espíritu para que viváis; y conoceréis que Yo soy Yahvé.”
7 And I have prophesied as I have been commanded, and there is a noise as I am prophesying, and behold, a rushing, and the bones draw near, bone to its bone.
Profeticé como se me había mandado; y mientras yo profetizaba he aquí que hubo un ruido tumultuoso, y se juntaron los huesos, cada hueso con su hueso (correspondiente).
8 And I beheld, and behold, sinews [are] on them, and flesh has come up, and skin covers them over above—and there is no spirit in them.
Y miré y he aquí que crecieron sobre ellos nervios y carnes y por encima los cubrió piel; pero no había en ellos espíritu.
9 And He says to me: “Prophesy to the Spirit, prophesy, son of man, and you have said to the Spirit, Thus said Lord YHWH: Come in from the four winds, O Spirit, and breathe on these slain, and they live.”
Entonces me dijo: “Profetiza al espíritu, profetiza, hijo de hombre, y di al aliento: Así dice Yahvé, el Señor: Ven, oh espíritu de los cuatro vientos, y sopla sobre estos muertos, y vivirán.”
10 And I have prophesied as He commanded me, and the Spirit comes into them, and they live, and stand on their feet—a very, very great force.
Profeticé como Él me había mandado; y entró en ellos el espíritu, y vivieron y se pusieron en pie, (formando) un ejército sumamente grande.
11 And He says to me, “Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel; behold, they are saying, Our bones have dried up, And our hope has perished, We have been cut off by ourselves.
Entonces me dijo: “Hijo de hombre, estos huesos son toda la casa de Israel. Mira cómo dicen: «Se han secado nuestros huesos y ha perecido nuestra esperanza; estamos completamente perdidos».
12 Therefore, prophesy, and you have said to them, Thus said Lord YHWH: Behold, I am opening your graves, And have brought you up out of your graves, O My people, And brought you into the land of Israel.
Por eso profetiza, y diles: Así dice Yahvé, el Señor: He aquí que abriré vuestros sepulcros y os sacaré de vuestras tumbas, oh pueblo mío, y os llevaré a la tierra de Israel.
13 And you have known that I [am] YHWH, In My opening your graves, And in My bringing you up out of your graves, O My people.
Y al abrir Yo vuestros sepulcros y al sacaros de vuestras tumbas, conoceréis, oh pueblo mío, que Yo soy Yahvé.
14 And I have given My Spirit in you, and you have lived, And I have caused you to rest on your land, And you have known that I, YHWH, have spoken, and I have done [it], A declaration of YHWH.”
E infundiré en vosotros mi espíritu y viviréis, y os daré reposo en vuestra tierra; y conoceréis que Yo, Yahvé, lo he dicho, y Yo lo hago, dice Yahvé.”
15 And there is a word of YHWH to me, saying,
Me fue dirigida la palabra de Yahvé que dijo:
16 “And you, son of man, take one stick for yourself, and write on it, For Judah, and for the sons of Israel, his companions; and take another stick, and write on it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and all the house of Israel, his companions,
“Tú, hijo de hombre, toma una vara y escribe en ella: «Para Judá y los hijos de Israel unidos a él». Luego toma otra vara y escribe en ella: «Para José, el báculo de Efraím, y para toda la casa de Israel que le está unida».
17 and bring them near to one another, to you, for one stick, and they have become one in your hand.
Y acerca la una a la otra para que sean una sola vara; y se unirán en tu mano.
18 And when sons of your people speak to you, saying, Do you not declare to us what these [are] to you?
Y cuando los hijos de tu pueblo te pregunten, diciendo: «¿No nos explicarás qué significa esto para ti?»
19 Speak to them, Thus said Lord YHWH: Behold, I am taking the stick of Joseph, that [is] in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his companions, and have given them to him, with the stick of Judah, and have made them become one stick, and they have been one in My hand.
diles: Así dice Yahvé, el Señor: He aquí que voy a tomar la vara de José que está en mano de Efraím, y las tribus de Israel que le están unidas, y las juntaré con la vara de Judá, haciendo de ellas una sola vara; y vendrán a ser una misma cosa en mi mano.
20 And the sticks on which you write have been in your hand before your eyes,
Las varas en que tú escribas han de estar en tu mano, ante los ojos de ellos;
21 and speak to them, Thus said Lord YHWH: Behold, I am taking the sons of Israel, From among the nations to where they have gone, And have gathered them from all around, And I have brought them into their land.
y les dirás: Así dice Yahvé, el Señor: He aquí que Yo sacaré a los hijos de Israel de entre las naciones adonde fueron; los recogeré de todas las partes y los llevaré a su tierra.
22 And I have made them become one nation in the land, on mountains of Israel, And one king is to them all for king, And they are no longer as two nations, Nor are they divided anymore into two kingdoms again.
Y haré de ellos una sola nación en el país, en los montes de Israel; un solo rey reinará sobre todos ellos; nunca más serán dos naciones ni se dividirán ya en dos reinos.
23 Nor are they defiled anymore with their idols, And with their abominations, And with any of their transgressions, And I have saved them out of all their dwellings, In which they have sinned, And I have cleansed them, And they have been to Me for a people, And I am to them for God.
No se contaminarán más con sus ídolos, con sus abominaciones, ni con ninguna de sus transgresiones, puesto que Yo los pondré en salvo (sacándolos) de todos los lugares donde pecaron, y los purificaré; y ellos serán mi pueblo, y Yo seré su Dios.
24 And My servant David [is] king over them, And they all have one shepherd, And they go in My judgments, And they keep My statutes, and have done them.
Mi siervo David será rey sobre ellos; y todos ellos tendrán un solo Pastor; observarán mis leyes y guardarán mis mandamientos y los cumplirán.
25 And they have dwelt on the land that I gave to My servant, to Jacob, In which your fathers have dwelt, And they have dwelt on it, they and their sons, And their son’s sons—for all time, And My servant David [is] their prince for all time.
Y habitarán en la tierra que Yo di a mi siervo Jacob, donde moraron vuestros padres; allí habitarán para siempre, ellos y sus hijos y los hijos de sus hijos; y mi siervo David será para siempre su príncipe.
26 And I have made a covenant of peace with them, It is a perpetual covenant with them, And I have placed them, and multiplied them, And placed My sanctuary in their midst for all time.
Y haré con todos ellos una alianza de paz, que será para ellos una alianza eterna; los estableceré y los multiplicaré, y pondré mi Santuario en medio de ellos perpetuamente.
27 And My dwelling place has been over them, And I have been to them for God, And they have been to Me for a people.
Y tendré entre ellos mi morada, y Yo seré el Dios de ellos, y ellos serán el pueblo mío.
28 And the nations have known that I, YHWH, am sanctifying Israel, In My sanctuary being in their midst for all time!”
Y conocerán los gentiles que Yo soy Yahvé, el santificador de Israel, cuando mi Santuario esté en medio de ellos para siempre.”
