Ezekiel 37
1 There has been a hand of YHWH on me, and He takes me forth in [the] Spirit of YHWH, and places me in the midst of the valley, and it is full of bones,
Da senkte sich die Hand des Herrn auf mich. Im Geiste führte mich der Herr hinaus und brachte mich in eine Ebene voller Gebeine.
2 and He causes me to pass over by them, all around, and behold, very many [are] on the face of the valley, and behold—very dry.
Er ließ mich ringsum sie betrachten; sehr viele lagen auf der Ebene. Sie waren völlig ausgetrocknet.
3 And He says to me, “Son of man, do these bones live?” And I say, “O Lord YHWH, You have known.”
Er sprach zu mir: "Sag, Menschensohn! Sollten wohl die Gebeine abermals lebendig werden können?" Ich sprach: "Herr, Herr, das weißt nur du."
4 And He says to me, “Prophesy concerning these bones, and you have said to them, O dry bones, hear a word of YHWH!
Er sprach zu mir: "So prophezeie über die Gebeine und sprich zu ihnen: 'Ihr ausgetrockneten Gebeine, vernehmt das Wort des Herrn!
5 Thus said Lord YHWH to these bones: Behold, I am bringing a spirit into you, and you have lived,
So spricht der Herr, der Herr, zu den Gebeinen: "Ich bringe zur Belebung Geist in euch,
6 and I have given sinews on you, and cause flesh to come up on you, and covered you over with skin, and given a spirit in you, and you have lived, and you have known that I [am] YHWH.”
und Sehnen lege ich auf euch und lasse Fleisch darüber wachsen und überziehe euch mit Haut und bringe zur Belebung Geist in euch, daß ihr erfahrt, daß ich der Herr."'
7 And I have prophesied as I have been commanded, and there is a noise as I am prophesying, and behold, a rushing, and the bones draw near, bone to its bone.
Da prophezeite ich, wie mir befohlen wird. Und als ich prophezeite, gab es ein Getöse, und die Gebeine rückten eins ans andere.
8 And I beheld, and behold, sinews [are] on them, and flesh has come up, and skin covers them over above—and there is no spirit in them.
Ich sah's. Da kamen Sehnen dran, und Fleisch wuchs drüber her. Dann spannte Haut sich oben drüber. Noch aber war kein Geist in ihnen.
9 And He says to me: “Prophesy to the Spirit, prophesy, son of man, and you have said to the Spirit, Thus said Lord YHWH: Come in from the four winds, O Spirit, and breathe on these slain, and they live.”
Er sprach zu mir: "Weissage von dem Geiste! Weissage, Menschensohn, und sprich zum Geiste: So spricht der Herr, der Herr: 'Herbei von den vier Winden komm, Geist! Hauch diese Toten an, daß sie lebendig werden!'"
10 And I have prophesied as He commanded me, and the Spirit comes into them, and they live, and stand on their feet—a very, very great force.
Ich prophezeite so, wie er mir anbefohlen. Da kam der Geist in sie. Sie wurden abermals lebendig und stellten sich auf ihre Füße, eine große, große Schar.
11 And He says to me, “Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel; behold, they are saying, Our bones have dried up, And our hope has perished, We have been cut off by ourselves.
Er sprach zu mir: "Sieh, Menschensohn! Diese Gebeine sollen das gesamte Haus von Israel bedeuten; sie sind es, die gesprochen: 'Fleischlos sind unsere Gebeine, und unsere Hoffnung ist dahin, und unser Lebensfaden ist zerschnitten.'
12 Therefore, prophesy, and you have said to them, Thus said Lord YHWH: Behold, I am opening your graves, And have brought you up out of your graves, O My people, And brought you into the land of Israel.
Deswegen weissage und sprich zu ihnen: So spricht der Herr, der Herr: 'Ich öffne eure Gräber und lasse euch, mein Volk, aus euren Gräbern steigen und führe euch in das Land Israel.
13 And you have known that I [am] YHWH, In My opening your graves, And in My bringing you up out of your graves, O My people.
Dann werdet ihr erkennen, daß ich der Herr bin, wenn ich eure Gräber öffne und euch aus diesen Gräbern steigen lasse.
14 And I have given My Spirit in you, and you have lived, And I have caused you to rest on your land, And you have known that I, YHWH, have spoken, and I have done [it], A declaration of YHWH.”
Ich senke meinen Geist in euch, daß ihr lebendig werdet und erfahrt: Ich selbst, der Herr, tu das, was ich versprochen.'" Ein Spruch des Herrn.
15 And there is a word of YHWH to me, saying,
Das Wort des Herrn erging an mich:
16 “And you, son of man, take one stick for yourself, and write on it, For Judah, and for the sons of Israel, his companions; and take another stick, and write on it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and all the house of Israel, his companions,
"Du Menschensohn! Ein Holz nimm dir und schreib darauf: 'Für Juda und die Söhne Israels, die es mit jenem hielten'. Dann nimm dir einen andern Stab und schreib darauf: 'Für Joseph ist dies Holz, für Ephraim und für das ganze Haus, das es mit jenem hielt'.
17 and bring them near to one another, to you, for one stick, and they have become one in your hand.
Und füge eins zum anderen, daß sie zu einem Holze werden, daß sie in deiner Hand zu einem Stücke werden!
18 And when sons of your people speak to you, saying, Do you not declare to us what these [are] to you?
Und fragen dich die Söhne deines Volks: 'Willst du uns nicht erklären, was dies wohl bedeutet?',
19 Speak to them, Thus said Lord YHWH: Behold, I am taking the stick of Joseph, that [is] in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his companions, and have given them to him, with the stick of Judah, and have made them become one stick, and they have been one in My hand.
dann sag zu ihnen: Also spricht der Herr, der Herr: 'Ich nehme Josephs Holz, das sich bei Ephraim befindet, und die Stämme Israels, die es mit jenem hielten, und füge es ans Juda-Holz und mache sie zu einem Holze. Sie werden eins durch meine Hand.'
20 And the sticks on which you write have been in your hand before your eyes,
Dann nimm die Hölzer, auf die du geschrieben hast, in deine Hand vor ihren Augen
21 and speak to them, Thus said Lord YHWH: Behold, I am taking the sons of Israel, From among the nations to where they have gone, And have gathered them from all around, And I have brought them into their land.
und sprich zu ihnen: Also spricht der Herr, der Herr: 'Fürwahr, ich hol die Söhne Israels her aus den Heidenvölkern, bei denen sie sich aufgehalten, und sammle sie von allen Seiten und bringe sie ins Vaterland
22 And I have made them become one nation in the land, on mountains of Israel, And one king is to them all for king, And they are no longer as two nations, Nor are they divided anymore into two kingdoms again.
und mache sie zu einem Volk im Lande auf den Bergen Israels. Zum König sollen sie dann alle einen König haben; sie sollen nimmermehr zwei Völker sein, nicht mehr geteilt sein in zwei Königreiche!
23 Nor are they defiled anymore with their idols, And with their abominations, And with any of their transgressions, And I have saved them out of all their dwellings, In which they have sinned, And I have cleansed them, And they have been to Me for a people, And I am to them for God.
Sie machen sich nicht weiterhin unrein an ihren Götzen, ihren Scheusalen. Von allen ihren Sünden will ich sie befreien. Von allen ihren Ausgelassenheiten, durch die sie sich versündigt, will ich sie reinigen. Sie sollen dann mein Schutzvolk werden; ich will ihr Schutzgott sein.
24 And My servant David [is] king over them, And they all have one shepherd, And they go in My judgments, And they keep My statutes, and have done them.
Mein Diener David soll ihr König werden. Ein Hirte soll er für sie alle sein. Nach meinen Rechten werden sie sich richten und meine Satzungen beachten und sie tun
25 And they have dwelt on the land that I gave to My servant, to Jacob, In which your fathers have dwelt, And they have dwelt on it, they and their sons, And their son’s sons—for all time, And My servant David [is] their prince for all time.
und in dem Lande wohnen, das meinem Diener Jakob einst ich eingeräumt, in dem einst eure Väter wohnten. Auf ewig wohnen sie darin und ihre Kinder, ihre Kindeskinder, und ewig ist mein Diener David Fürst bei ihnen.
26 And I have made a covenant of peace with them, It is a perpetual covenant with them, And I have placed them, and multiplied them, And placed My sanctuary in their midst for all time.
Mit ihnen schließe ich des Friedens Bund; ein Bund von ewiger Dauer soll er ihnen sein. Ich will sie segnen und sie mehren und nehme meinen heiligen Sitz auf ewig unter ihnen.
27 And My dwelling place has been over them, And I have been to them for God, And they have been to Me for a people.
Mein Wohnsitz wird bei ihnen sein; ich will ihr Schutzgott werden, und sie werden dann mein Schutzvolk sein.
28 And the nations have known that I, YHWH, am sanctifying Israel, In My sanctuary being in their midst for all time!”
Die Heiden werden anerkennen, daß ich, der Herr, mein Israel ganz heilig mache, wenn ewiglich mein heiliger Sitz bei ihnen ist.'"
