Ezekiel 36
1 “And you, son of man, prophesy to mountains of Israel, and you have said, O mountains of Israel, hear a word of YHWH!
“Nwa nke mmadụ, buo amụma nye ugwu niile dị nʼIzrel, na-asị ha, ‘Ugwu niile nke Izrel, nụrụnụ okwu nke Onyenwe anyị.
2 Thus said Lord YHWH: Because the enemy said against you, Aha! The high places of old have also become our possession,
Ihe ndị a ka Onye kachasị ihe niile elu, bụ Onyenwe anyị kwuru: Ndị iro unu ekwuola megide unu sị, “Ahaa! Ebe niile dị elu nke mgbe ochie aghọọla ihe nnweta anyị.”’
3 therefore, prophesy, and you have said, Thus said Lord YHWH: Because, even because, of desolating, And of swallowing you up from all around, For your being a possession to the remnant of the nations, And you are taken up on the tip of the tongue, And [are] an evil report to the people.
Nʼihi ya, buo amụma sị, ‘Otu a ka Onye kachasị ihe niile elu, bụ Onyenwe anyị kwuru: Nʼihi na ha emeela ka unu tọgbọrọ nʼefu, chụgharịa unu ọsọ nʼakụkụ niile, mekwaa ka unu ghọọrọ mba niile ihe nnweta, ma meekwa ka unu bụrụ ndị a na-ekwujọ, na ndị a na-akọcha,
4 Therefore, O mountains of Israel, Hear a word of Lord YHWH! Thus said Lord YHWH, to mountains, and to hills, To streams, and to valleys, And to ruins that [are] desolate, And to cities that are forsaken, That have been for a prey, And for a scorn, to the remnant of the surrounding nations,
nʼihi ya, unu ugwu niile nke Izrel, nụrụnụ okwu Onye kachasị ihe niile elu, bụ Onyenwe anyị. Ihe ndị a ka Onye kachasị ihe niile elu, bụ Onyenwe anyị na-agwa ugwu ukwuu na ugwu nta niile, na mgbawara niile dị nʼala, na ndagwurugwu niile, na ebe niile tọgbọrọ nʼefu, na obodo ndị ahụ niile ndị mmadụ na-ebighị nʼime ya, nke ndị mba ọzọ kwakọọrọ ihe dị ha nʼime, ma jirikwa ha na-eme ihe ọchị.
5 Therefore, thus said Lord YHWH: Have I not, in the fire of My jealousy, Spoken against the remnant of the nations, And against Edom—all of it, Who gave My land to themselves for a possession, With the joy of the whole heart—with despite of soul, For the sake of casting it out for a prey?

6 Therefore, prophesy concerning the ground of Israel, And you have said to mountains, and to hills, To streams, and to valleys, Thus said Lord YHWH: Behold, I, in My jealousy and in My fury, have spoken, Because you have borne the shame of nations.
Nʼihi nke a, buo amụma banyere Izrel, gwa ugwu ukwu ya na ugwu nta ya niile, na mgbawara ala ya, na ndagwurugwu ya niile, sị, ‘Otu a ka Onye kachasị ihe niile elu, bụ Onyenwe anyị sịrị, ọ bụ site nʼọnụma nke ekworo ka m ji ekwu okwu ndị a, nʼihi na unu ahụọla ahụhụ site na nlelị ndị mba ọzọ na-elelị unu.
7 Therefore, thus said Lord YHWH: I have lifted up My hand, Do the nations who [are] surrounding you not bear their own shame?
Nʼihi ya, ihe ndị a ka Onye kachasị ihe niile elu, bụ Onyenwe anyị kwuru, eweliri m aka m elu ṅụọ iyi na mba ndị a gbara unu gburugburu ga-anọkwa nʼọnọdụ ihere.
8 And you, O mountains of Israel, You give out your branch, And you bear your fruits for My people Israel, For they have drawn near to come.
“‘Ma unu, ugwu niile nke Izrel ga-awapụta ngalaba, mịakwa mkpụrụ nke ndị m ga-eri, nʼihi na oge ha ga-alọghachi adịghịkwa anya.
9 For behold, I [am] for you, and have turned to you, And you have been tilled and sown.
Lee, mụ onwe m dịnyeere unu; aga m abịa inyere unu aka, nʼihi na a ga-akọgharịkwa unu, kụọkwa mkpụrụ nʼime unu.
10 And I have multiplied men on you, All the house of Israel—all of it, And the cities have been inhabited, And the ruins are built.
Aga m emekwa ka ọnụọgụgụ ndị ga-ebi nʼime unu baa ụba, ọ bụladị ụlọ Izrel niile. Ha ga-ebikwa nʼobodo niile, wugharịakwa ebe niile e tikpọrọ etikpọ.
11 And I have multiplied man and beast on you, And they have multiplied and been fruitful, And I have caused you to dwell according to your former states, And I have done better than at your beginnings, And you have known that I [am] YHWH.

12 And I have caused man to walk over you—My people Israel, And they possess you, and you have been their inheritance, And you no longer add to bereave them.
Aga m eme ka ndị m, ndị m bụ Izrel, biri nʼime unu. Unu ga-abụ ihe nweta ha, unu ga-aghọkwara ha ihe nketa. Unu agakwaghị agbaba ha aka ụmụ ọzọ.
13 Thus said Lord YHWH: Because they are saying to you, You [are] a devourer of men, And you have been a bereaver of your nations,
“‘Onye kachasị ihe niile elu, bụ Onyenwe anyị sịrị, nʼihi na ụfọdụ mba na-ekwutọ gị na-asị, “Ị bụ ala na-eri ụmụ ya, ala na-agbaba ndị ya aka ụmụ.”
14 Therefore, you no longer devour man, And you do not cause your nations to stumble anymore, A declaration of Lord YHWH.
Nʼihi nke a, ị gaghị erikwa mmadụ ọzọ. Ị gaghị agbawakwa mba gị aka ụmụ ọzọ. Ọ bụ ihe Onye kachasị ihe niile elu, bụ Onyenwe anyị kwubiri.
15 And I do not proclaim the shame of the nations to you anymore, And you no longer bear the reproach of peoples, And your nations do not stumble anymore, A declaration of Lord YHWH.”
Agaghị m emekwa ka ị nụrụ mkparị nke ndị mba ọzọ na-akparị gị. Ị gaghị anọkwa ọnọdụ nke ga-eme ka ndị mba ọzọ lelịa gị, maọbụ nọọ ọnọdụ nke ga-eme ka ị sọọ ngọngọ. Ọ bụ ihe Onye kachasị ihe niile elu, bụ Onyenwe anyị kwubiri.’”
16 And there is a word of YHWH to me, saying,
Ọzọkwa, okwu nke Onyenwe anyị rutere m ntị, sị,
17 “Son of man, The house of Israel are dwelling on their land, And they defile it by their way and by their doings, Their way has been as the uncleanness of a separated one before Me.
“Nwa nke mmadụ, mgbe ụmụ Izrel bi nʼala nke aka ha, ha merụrụ ya, site na ndụ ọjọọ ha, na omume ha. Ndụ ọjọọ ha nʼihu m, dị ka adịghị ọcha nke nwanyị nʼoge ọ nọ na nsọ ya, nʼọnwa niile.
18 And I pour out My fury on them For the blood that they shed on the land, And they have defiled it with their idols.
Nʼihi ya, awụkwasịrị m ha ọnụma m, nʼihi na ha na-awụsi ọbara nʼala ahụ, jirikwa arụsị ha na-emerụ ya.
19 And I scatter them among nations, And they are spread through lands, According to their way, and according to their doings, I have judged them.
Achụsasịrị m ha na mba dị iche iche. Otu a ka m si kpee ha ikpe nʼihi ụzọ ọjọọ ha, na omume ọjọọ ha.
20 And one goes to the nations to where they have gone, And they defile My holy Name by saying to them, These [are] the people of YHWH, And they have gone forth from His land.
Ma ebe niile ha gara nʼetiti mba niile, ha mere ka aha nsọ m gharakwa ịdị nsọ, nʼihi na a na-ekwu banyere ha, sị, ‘Ndị a bụ ndị nke Onyenwe anyị, ma agbanyeghị nke a, ha sitere nʼala ya pụọ.’
21 And I have pity on My holy Name, That the house of Israel has defiled Among the nations to where they have gone in.
Ihe na-ewutekwa m bụ aha nsọ m, nke ụlọ Izrel mere ka ọ ghara ịdị nsọ nʼetiti mba niile bụ ebe ha gara.
22 Therefore, say to the house of Israel, Thus said Lord YHWH: I am not working for your sake, O house of Israel, but for My holy Name That you have defiled Among the nations to where you have gone in.
“Ya mere, gwa ụlọ Izrel, Otu a ka Onye kachasị ihe niile elu, bụ Onyenwe anyị kwuru: Ọ bụghị nʼihi na unu, ụlọ Izrel, ka m ji na-eme ihe ndị a, kama ọ bụ nʼihi aha nsọ m, nke unu mere ka ọ ghara ịdị nsọ nʼetiti mba niile dị iche iche ebe ndị unu gara.
23 And I have sanctified My great Name, That is profaned among the nations, That you have defiled in your midst, And the nations have known that I [am] YHWH, A declaration of Lord YHWH, In My being sanctified in you before your eyes.
Aga m eme ka ịdị nsọ nke aha ukwuu m, nke unu mere ka ọ ghara ịdị nsọ nʼetiti mba niile, pụta ìhè. Mgbe ahụ, mba niile ga-amakwa na mụ onwe m bụ Onyenwe anyị, otu a ka Onye kachasị ihe niile elu, bụ Onyenwe anyị kwupụtara, mgbe a ga-edo m nsọ site nʼime unu nʼanya ha.
24 And I have taken you out of the nations, And have gathered you out of all the lands, And I have brought you into your land,
“‘Nʼihi na aga m esi na mba niile dị iche iche kpọpụta unu. Aga m achịkọta unu site nʼala niile, mee ka unu bata nʼala unu.
25 And I have sprinkled clean water over you, And you have been clean; I cleanse you from all your uncleannesses, And from all your idols.
Aga m efekwasị unu mmiri dị ọcha, unu ga-adịkwa ọcha. Aga m eme ka unu dị ọcha site na-adịghị ọcha unu niile, na site nʼikpere arụsị unu niile.
26 And I have given a new heart to you, And I give a new spirit in your midst, And I have turned aside the heart of stone out of your flesh, And I have given a heart of flesh to you.
Aga m enye unu obi ọhụrụ, kenyekwa unu mmụọ ọhụrụ. Aga m ewepụ obi nkume nke mmehie dị nʼime unu, nye unu mkpụrụobi nke anụ ahụ.
27 And I give My Spirit in your midst, And I have done this, so that you walk in My statutes, And you keep My judgments, and have done them.
Aga m etinyekwa mmụọ m nʼime unu, mee ka unu gbaso ụkpụrụ m niile ma lezie anya mekwaa ihe niile m nyere nʼiwu.
28 And you have dwelt in the land that I have given to your fathers, And you have been to Me for a people, And I am to you for God.
Unu ga-ebikwa nʼala ahụ nke m nyere nna unu ha. Unu ga-abụ ndị m, aga m abụkwa Chineke unu.
29 And I have saved you from all your uncleannesses, And I have called to the grain, and multiplied it, And I have put no famine on you.
Aga m azọpụta unu site na-adịghị ọcha unu niile. M ga-akpọ mkpụrụ ubi, mee ka o rie nne nke ukwu, agaghị m emekwa ka ụnwụ dakwasị unu ọzọ.
30 And I have multiplied the fruit of the tree, And the increase of the field, So that you do not receive a reproach of famine among nations anymore.
Aga m emekwa ka mkpụrụ osisi na ihe owuwe ubi baa ụba nke ukwuu, ka unu gharakwa ịnata ihere ọzọ nʼihi ụnwụ, nʼetiti mba niile dị iche iche.
31 And you have remembered your ways that [are] evil, And your doings that [are] not good, And have been loathsome in your own faces, For your iniquities, and for your abominations.
Mgbe ahụ, unu ga-echeta ụzọ ọjọọ unu niile na omume ọjọọ unu niile, unu ga-asọkwa onwe unu oyi nʼihi mmehie unu na ihe arụ niile unu mere.
32 I am not working for your sake, A declaration of Lord YHWH, Be it known to you, Be ashamed and confounded, because of your ways, O house of Israel.
Ma achọrọ m ka unu mata na ọ bụghị nʼihi mma unu ka m ji na-eme ihe ndị a. Otu a ka Onye kachasị ihe niile elu, bụ Onyenwe anyị kwupụtara. Unu ụlọ Izrel, ihere kwesiri ime unu nʼihi omume ọjọọ unu mere.
33 Thus said Lord YHWH: In the day of My cleansing you from all your iniquities, I have caused the cities to be inhabited, And the ruins have been built,
“‘Nke a bụ ihe Onye kachasị ihe niile elu, bụ Onyenwe anyị kwuru: Nʼụbọchị ahụ m ga-eme ka ị dị ọcha site na mmehie gị niile, aga m eme ka unu lọghachi nʼobodo unu biri, a ga-ewugharịkwa ebe niile tọgbọrọ nʼefu.
34 And the desolate land is tilled, Instead of which it was a desolation before the eyes of everyone passing by,
Ala ubi ndị ahụ nke tọgbọrọ nʼefu agaghị atọgbọkwa nʼefu nʼihu anya ndị na-agafe agafe. A ga-akọkwa ha niile.
35 And they have said: This land, that was desolated, Has been as the Garden of Eden, And the cities—the dried up, And the desolated, and the broken down, [And the] fortified have remained.

36 And the nations who are left around you have known That I, YHWH, have built the thrown down, I have planted the desolated: I, YHWH, have spoken, and I have done [it].
Mgbe ahụ, mba niile gbara unu gburugburu, bụ ndị fọdụrụ, ga-amata na mụ onwe m bụ Onyenwe anyị wuziri ebe niile e tikpọrọ etikpọ, kụọkwa mkpụrụ nʼebe niile tọgbọrọ nʼefu. Mụ onwe m bụ Onyenwe anyị, ekwuola, aga m emekwa ya.’
37 Thus said Lord YHWH: Yet this I am inquired of by the house of Israel to do for them: I multiply them as a flock of men,
“Otu a ka Onye kachasị ihe niile elu, bụ Onyenwe anyị kwuru, ọzọkwa, aga m ege ntị, zaa ekpere ụlọ Izrel, mezuoro ha arịrịọ ha. Aga m eme ka ha baa ụba dịka igwe anụ ụlọ,
38 As a flock of holy ones, as a flock of Jerusalem, In her appointed times, So the dried up cities are full of flocks of man, And they have known that I [am] YHWH!”
