Ezekiel 29

1 In the tenth year, in the tenth [month], on the twelfth of the month, a word of YHWH has been to me, saying,

۱ و در روز دوازدهم ماه دهم از سال دهم کلام خداوند بر من نازل شده، گفت:

2 “Son of man, set your face against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and prophesy concerning him, and concerning Egypt—all of it.

۲ «ای پسر انسان نظر خود را به طرف فرعون پادشاه مصر بدار و به ضد او و تمامی مصر نبوت نما.

3 Speak, and you have said, Thus said Lord YHWH: Behold, I [am] against you, Pharaoh king of Egypt! The great dragon that is crouching in the midst of his floods, Who has said, My flood [is] my own, And I have made it [for] myself.

۳ و متکلم شده، بگو: خداوند یهوه چنین می‌فرماید: اینک‌ای فرعون پادشاه مصر من به ضد تو هستم. ای اژدهای بزرگ که در میان نهرهایت خوابیده‌ای و می‌گویی نهر من از آن من است و من آن را به جهت خود ساخته‌ام!

4 And I have put hooks in your jaws, And I have caused the fish of your floods to cleave to your scales, And I have caused you to come up from the midst of your floods, And every fish of your floods cleaves to your scales.

۴ لهذاقلابها در چانه ات می‌گذارم و ماهیان نهرهایت رابه فلسهایت خواهم چسپانید و تو را از میان نهرهایت بیرون خواهم کشید و تمامی ماهیان نهرهایت به فلسهای تو خواهند چسپید.

5 And I have left you in the wilderness, You and every fish of your floods, You fall on the face of the field, You are not gathered nor assembled, I have given you for food to the beast of the earth and to the bird of the heavens.

۵ و تو رابا تمامی ماهیان نهرهایت در بیابان پراکنده خواهم ساخت و به روی صحرا افتاده، بار دیگرتو را جمع نخواهند کرد و فراهم نخواهند‌آورد. و تو را خوراک حیوانات زمین و مرغان هواخواهم ساخت.

6 And all inhabitants of Egypt have known That I [am] YHWH, Because of their being a staff of reed to the house of Israel.

۶ و جمیع ساکنان مصر خواهنددانست که من یهوه هستم چونکه ایشان برای خاندان اسرائیل عصای نئین بودند.

7 In their taking hold of you by your hand, You crush and have torn every shoulder of theirs, And in their leaning on you you are broken, And have caused all their thighs to stand.

۷ چون دست تو را گرفتند، خرد شدی. و کتفهای جمیع ایشان را چاک زدی. و چون بر تو تکیه نمودند، شکسته شدی. و کمرهای جمیع ایشان را لرزان گردانیدی.»

8 Therefore, thus said Lord YHWH: Behold, I am bringing in a sword against you, And have cut off man and beast from you.

۸ بنابراین خداوند یهوه چنین می‌فرماید: «اینک من بر تو شمشیری آورده، انسان و بهایم رااز تو منقطع خواهم ساخت.

9 And the land of Egypt has been for a desolation and a ruin, And they have known that I [am] YHWH, Because he said: The flood [is] mine, and I made [it].

۹ و زمین مصر ویران و خراب خواهد شد. پس خواهند دانست که من یهوه هستم، چونکه می‌گفت: نهر از آن من است ومن آن را ساخته‌ام.

10 Therefore, behold, I [am] against you, and against your floods, And have given the land of Egypt for ruins, A dry place, a desolation, from Migdol to Syene, And to the border of Cush.

۱۰ بنابراین اینک من به ضد توو به ضد نهرهایت هستم و زمین مصر را از مجدل تا اسوان و تا حدود حبشستان بالکل خراب وویران خواهم ساخت.

11 A foot of man does not pass over into it, Indeed, the foot of beast does not pass into it, Nor is it inhabited forty years.

۱۱ که پای انسان از آن عبور ننماید و پای حیوان از آن گذر نکند و مدت چهل سال مسکون نشود.

12 And I have made the land of Egypt a desolation, In the midst of desolate lands, And its cities, in the midst of cities [that are] laid waste, Are a desolation [for] forty years, And I have scattered the Egyptians among nations, And I have dispersed them through lands.

۱۲ و زمین مصر را درمیان زمینهای ویران ویران خواهم ساخت وشهرهایش در میان شهرهای مخروب مدت چهل سال خراب خواهد ماند. و مصریان را در میان امت‌ها پراکنده و در میان کشورها متفرق خواهم ساخت.»

13 But thus said Lord YHWH: At the end of forty years I gather the Egyptians Out of the peoples to where they have been scattered,

۱۳ زیرا خداوند یهوه چنین می‌فرماید: «بعد ازانقضای چهل سال مصریان را از قوم هایی که درمیان آنها پراکنده شوند، جمع خواهم نمود.

14 And I have turned back [to] the captivity of Egypt, And I have brought them back [To] the land of Pathros, to the land of their birth, And they have been a low kingdom there.

۱۴ واسیران مصر را باز آورده، ایشان را به زمین فتروس یعنی به زمین مولد ایشان راجع خواهم گردانید و در آنجا مملکت پست خواهند بود.

15 It is lowest of the kingdoms, And it does not lift itself up above the nations anymore, And I have made them few, So as not to rule among nations.

۱۵ و آن پست‌ترین ممالک خواهد بود. و بار دیگربر طوایف برتری نخواهد نمود. و من ایشان راقلیل خواهم ساخت تا برامت‌ها حکمرانی ننمایند.

16 And it is no longer for confidence to the house of Israel, Bringing iniquity to remembrance, By their turning after them, And they have known that I [am] Lord YHWH.”

۱۶ و آن بار دیگر برای خاندان اسرائیل محل اعتماد نخواهد بود تا بسوی ایشان متوجه شده، گناه را به یاد آورند. پس خواهند دانست که من خداوند یهوه هستم.»

17 And it comes to pass, in the twenty-seventh year, in the first [month], on the first of the month, a word of YHWH has been to me, saying,

۱۷ و در روز اول ماه اول از سال بیست و هفتم کلام خداوند بر من نازل شده، گفت:

18 “Son of man, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, Has caused his force to serve a great service against Tyre, Every head [is] bald—every shoulder peeled, And neither he, nor his force, had reward out of Tyre, For the service that he served against it.

۱۸ «ای پسرانسان نبوکدرصر پادشاه بابل از لشکر خود به ضدصور خدمت عظیمی گرفت که سرهای همه بی‌مو گردید و دوشهای همه پوست کنده شد. لیکن از صور به جهت خدمتی که به ضد آن نموده بود، خودش و لشکرش هیچ مزد نیافتند.»

19 Therefore, thus said Lord YHWH: Behold, I am giving the land of Egypt to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, And he has taken away its store, And has taken its spoil, and taken its prey, And it has been a reward to his force.

۱۹ لهذا خداوند یهوه چنین می‌فرماید: «اینک من زمین مصر را به نبوکدرصر پادشاه بابل خواهم بخشید. و جمعیت آن را گرفتار کرده، غنیمتش رابه یغما و اموالش را به تاراج خواهد برد تا اجرت لشکرش بشود.

20 I have given to him his wage for which he labored—The land of Egypt, in that they worked for Me, A declaration of Lord YHWH.

۲۰ و خداوند یهوه می‌گوید: زمین مصر را به جهت خدمتی که کرده است، اجرت اوخواهم داد چونکه این کار را برای من کرده‌اند.

21 In that day I cause a horn to shoot up for the house of Israel, And I give an opening to your mouth in their midst, And they have known that I [am] YHWH!”

۲۱ و در آن روز شاخی برای خاندان اسرائیل خواهم رویانید. و دهان تو را در میان ایشان خواهم گشود، پس خواهند دانست که من یهوه هستم.»
