Ezekiel 24
1 And there is a word of YHWH to me, in the ninth year, in the tenth month, on the tenth of the month, saying,
Novamente, no nono ano, no décimo mês, no décimo dia do mês, a palavra de Javé veio até mim, dizendo:
2 “Son of man, write! Write the name of the day for yourself, this very day; the king of Babylon has leaned toward Jerusalem in this very day.
“Filho do homem, escreve o nome do dia, neste mesmo dia. O rei da Babilônia chegou perto de Jerusalém neste mesmo dia.
3 And use an allegory toward the house of rebellion, and you have said to them, Thus said Lord YHWH: To set on the pot, to set [it] on, and also to pour water into it,
Utter uma parábola para a casa rebelde, e dizer-lhes: “O Senhor Javé diz, “Coloque o caldeirão na fogueira. Coloque-o, e também despejar água nele.
4 To gather its pieces to it, every good piece, Thigh and shoulder, to fill in the choice of the bones.
Junte suas peças dentro dele, mesmo todas as peças boas: a coxa e o ombro. Encha-o com os ossos de escolha.
5 To take the choice of the flock, And also to pile the bones under it, Boil it thoroughly, indeed, cook its bones in its midst.
Escolha o rebanho, e também uma pilha de madeira para os ossos sob o caldeirão. Faça ferver bem. Sim, que seus ossos sejam fervidos dentro dele”.
6 Therefore, thus said Lord YHWH: Woe [to] the city of blood, A pot whose scum [is] in it, And its scum has not come out of it, By piece of it, by piece of it bring it out, a lot has not fallen on it.
“'Portanto o Senhor Yahweh diz: “Ai da cidade sangrenta”, para o caldeirão cuja ferrugem está dentro dele, e cuja ferrugem ainda não saiu! Retire peça após peça sem fundir lotes para ele.
7 For her blood has been in her midst, She has set it on a clear place of a rock, She has not poured it on the earth, To cover it over with dust.
“““Pois o sangue que ela derramou está no meio dela. Ela a colocou sobre a rocha nua. Ela não o derramou no chão, para cobri-lo com poeira.
8 To cause fury to come up to take vengeance, I have put her blood on a clear place of a rock—not to be covered.
Que isso pode causar ira para se vingar, Eu coloquei seu sangue na rocha nua, que não deve ser coberto”.
9 Therefore, thus said Lord YHWH: Woe [to] the city of blood, indeed, I make the pile great.
“'Portanto o Senhor Yahweh diz: “Ai da cidade sangrenta! Eu também farei a pilha grande.
10 Make the wood abundant, Kindle the fire, consume the flesh, And make the compound, And let the bones be burned.
Heap sobre a madeira. Esquente o fogo. Ferva bem a carne. Fazer o caldo grosso, e deixar que os ossos sejam queimados.
11 And cause it to stand empty on its coals, So that its bronze is hot and burning, Its uncleanness has been melted in its midst, Its scum is consumed.
Em seguida, esvaziá-lo em seus carvões, que pode estar quente, e seu bronze pode queimar, e que sua sujeira possa ser derretida nele, que sua ferrugem possa ser consumida.
12 She has wearied herself [with] sorrows, And the abundance of her scum does not go out of her, Her scum [is] in the fire.
Ela está cansada de labutar; mas sua grande ferrugem, ferrugem pelo fogo, não a deixa.
13 Wickedness [is] in your uncleanness, Because I have cleansed you, And you have not been cleansed, You are not cleansed from your uncleanness again, Until I have caused My fury to rest on you.
“““Em sua imundície está a lascívia. Porque eu te purifiquei e não foste purificado, não serás mais purificado de tua imundície, até que eu tenha feito descansar minha ira contra ti”.
14 I, YHWH, have spoken, It has come, and I have done [it], I do not free, nor do I spare, nor do I regret, According to your ways, and according to your acts, They have judged you, A declaration of Lord YHWH.”
“““Eu, Yahweh, já falei. Acontecerá, e eu o farei. Eu não voltarei atrás. Eu não vou poupar. Eu não me arrependerei. De acordo com seus modos e de acordo com seus atos, eles o julgarão”, diz o Senhor Yahweh”.
15 And there is a word of YHWH to me, saying,
Também a palavra de Javé veio a mim, dizendo:
16 “Son of man, behold, I am taking the desire of your eyes from you by a stroke, and you do not mourn, nor weep, nor let your tear come.
“Filho do homem, eis que te tirarei o desejo de teus olhos com um só golpe; no entanto, não chorarás nem chorarás, nem tuas lágrimas correrão para baixo”.
17 Cease to groan [and] make no mourning [for] the dead, bind your headdress on yourself, and put your shoes on your feet, and you do not cover over the upper lip, and you do not eat [the] bread of men.”
Sigh, mas não em voz alta. Não choreis pelos mortos. Atai vosso traje de cabeça e ponde vossas sandálias nos pés. Não cubra seus lábios, e não coma o pão de luto”.
18 And I speak to the people in the morning, and my wife dies in the evening, and I do in the morning as I have been commanded.
Então falei com as pessoas pela manhã e à noite minha esposa morreu. Assim o fiz pela manhã, como me foi ordenado.
19 And the people say to me, “Do you not declare to us what these [are] to us, that you are doing?”
As pessoas me perguntaram: “Você não vai nos dizer o que essas coisas significam para nós, que você age assim?”
20 And I say to them, “A word of YHWH has been to me, saying,
Então lhes disse: “A palavra de Javé veio a mim, dizendo:
21 Say to the house of Israel, Thus said Lord YHWH: Behold, I am defiling My sanctuary, The excellence of your strength, The desire of your eyes, and the pitied of your soul, And your sons and your daughters whom you have left, fall by sword.
'Fala à casa de Israel: “O Senhor Javé diz: 'Eis que profanarei meu santuário, o orgulho de teu poder, o desejo de teus olhos e o que tua alma tem pena; e teus filhos e tuas filhas, que deixaste para trás, cairão à espada'”.
22 And you have done as I have done, You have not covered over the upper lip, And you do not eat [the] bread of men.
Você fará como eu fiz. Não cobrireis os lábios nem comereis o pão de luto.
23 And your headdresses [are] on your heads, And your shoes [are] on your feet, You do not mourn nor do you weep, And you have wasted away for your iniquities, And you have howled to one another.
Seus turbantes estarão sobre suas cabeças, e suas sandálias sobre seus pés. Vocês não chorarão ou chorarão; mas se prantearão em suas iniquidades, gemerão uns para os outros.
24 And Ezekiel has been for a type to you; according to all that he has done you do. In its coming in—you have known that I [am] Lord YHWH.”
Assim, Ezequiel será um sinal para vocês; de acordo com tudo o que ele fez, vocês farão. Quando isto vier, então saberás que eu sou o Senhor Javé”””.
25 “And you, son of man, is it not in the day of My taking from them their strength, the joy of their beauty, the desire of their eyes, and the song of their soul—their sons and their daughters?
“Você, filho do homem, não deveria ser no dia em que eu tirar-lhes a força, a alegria de sua glória, o desejo de seus olhos, e que, em seguida, colocaram seu coração - seus filhos e suas filhas -
26 In that day the escaped one comes to you to cause the ears to hear.
que, naquele dia, aquele que escapar virá até você, para fazê-lo ouvir com seus ouvidos?
27 In that day your mouth is opened with the escaped and you speak, and are not silent anymore, and you have been for a type to them, and they have known that I [am] YHWH.”
que naquele dia sua boca será aberta para aquele que escapou, e você falará e não será mais mudo. Assim você será um sinal para eles. Então eles saberão que eu sou Yahweh”.
