Ezekiel 24
1 And there is a word of YHWH to me, in the ninth year, in the tenth month, on the tenth of the month, saying,
੧ਫੇਰ ਨੌਵੇਂ ਸਾਲ ਦੇ ਦਸਵੇਂ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੀ ਦਸ ਤਾਰੀਖ਼ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਬਚਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਇਆ ਕਿ
2 “Son of man, write! Write the name of the day for yourself, this very day; the king of Babylon has leaned toward Jerusalem in this very day.
੨ਹੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਅੱਜ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਹਾਂ, ਇਸੇ ਦਿਨ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਲਿਖ ਲੈ ਕਿ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਠੀਕ ਇਸੇ ਦਿਨ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਉੱਤੇ ਘੇਰਾ ਪਾਇਆ।
3 And use an allegory toward the house of rebellion, and you have said to them, Thus said Lord YHWH: To set on the pot, to set [it] on, and also to pour water into it,
੩ਇਸ ਵਿਦਰੋਹੀ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਕਹਾਉਤ ਕਹਿ ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਇੱਕ ਕੜਾਹਾ ਚੜ੍ਹਾ ਦੇ, ਹਾਂ, ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਚਾੜ੍ਹ, ਤੇ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਣੀ ਭਰ ਦੇ,
4 To gather its pieces to it, every good piece, Thigh and shoulder, to fill in the choice of the bones.
੪ਇਹ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਟੋਟੇ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਕਰ, ਹਰੇਕ ਚੰਗਾ ਟੁੱਕੜਾ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਪੱਟ, ਮੋਢੇ, ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਚੰਗਾ ਟੁੱਕੜਾ ਅਤੇ ਚੁਣਵੀਆਂ ਹੱਡੀਆਂ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਰ ਦੇ,
5 To take the choice of the flock, And also to pile the bones under it, Boil it thoroughly, indeed, cook its bones in its midst.
੫ਅਤੇ ਇੱਜੜ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਚੁਣ-ਚੁਣ ਕੇ ਲੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਹੱਡੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਢੇਰ ਲਾ ਦੇ, ਅਤੇ ਚੰਗੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਬਾਲ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਹੱਡੀਆਂ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੰਗੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਬਲ ਜਾਣ।
6 Therefore, thus said Lord YHWH: Woe [to] the city of blood, A pot whose scum [is] in it, And its scum has not come out of it, By piece of it, by piece of it bring it out, a lot has not fallen on it.
੬ਇਸ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਖੂਨੀ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਫ਼ਸੋਸ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਕੜਾਹੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੰਗਾਲ ਲੱਗਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਜੰਗਾਲ ਲਾਹਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਗਿਆ। ਇੱਕ-ਇੱਕ ਟੁੱਕੜਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੱਢ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਰਚੀਆਂ ਨਾ ਪਾਈਆਂ ਜਾਣ।
7 For her blood has been in her midst, She has set it on a clear place of a rock, She has not poured it on the earth, To cover it over with dust.
੭ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਲਹੂ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਸੁੱਕੀ ਚੱਟਾਨ ਤੇ ਰੱਖਿਆ, ਧਰਤੀ ਤੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਡੋਲ੍ਹਿਆ ਕਿ ਮਿੱਟੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਢੱਕਿਆ ਜਾਏ।
8 To cause fury to come up to take vengeance, I have put her blood on a clear place of a rock—not to be covered.
੮ਇਸ ਲਈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਕਹਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਵੇ, ਤਾਂ ਕਿ ਬਦਲਾ ਲਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ, ਮੈਂ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਲਹੂ ਸੁੱਕੀ ਚੱਟਾਨ ਤੇ ਰੱਖਿਆ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਢੱਕਿਆ ਨਾ ਜਾਵੇ।
9 Therefore, thus said Lord YHWH: Woe [to] the city of blood, indeed, I make the pile great.
੯ਇਸ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਖੂਨੀ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਾਏ ਹਾਏ! ਮੈਂ ਵੀ ਵੱਡਾ ਢੇਰ ਲਾਵਾਂਗਾ।
10 Make the wood abundant, Kindle the fire, consume the flesh, And make the compound, And let the bones be burned.
੧੦ਲੱਕੜਾਂ ਦਾ ਢੇਰ ਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਅੱਗ ਭੜਕਾ, ਮਾਸ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਬਾਲ, ਤਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਘਣਾ ਕਰ ਅਤੇ ਹੱਡੀਆਂ ਸਾੜੀਆਂ ਜਾਣ।
11 And cause it to stand empty on its coals, So that its bronze is hot and burning, Its uncleanness has been melted in its midst, Its scum is consumed.
੧੧ਤਦ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਖ਼ਾਲੀ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਅੰਗਿਆਰਿਆਂ ਤੇ ਰੱਖ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਪਿੱਤਲ ਗਰਮ ਹੋਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਪਿਘਲ ਜਾਵੇ। ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਦੀ ਮੈਲ਼ ਸੜ ਜਾਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਜੰਗਾਲ ਸੜ ਜਾਵੇ।
12 She has wearied herself [with] sorrows, And the abundance of her scum does not go out of her, Her scum [is] in the fire.
੧੨ਉਹ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਤੋਂ ਥੱਕ ਗਈ, ਪਰ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਬਹੁਤਾ ਜੰਗਾਲ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਇਆ। ਅੱਗ ਨਾਲ ਵੀ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਜੰਗਾਲ ਦੂਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ।
13 Wickedness [is] in your uncleanness, Because I have cleansed you, And you have not been cleansed, You are not cleansed from your uncleanness again, Until I have caused My fury to rest on you.
੧੩ਤੇਰੀ ਗੰਦਗੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੁੱਚਪੁਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਸਾਫ਼ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ, ਪਰ ਤੂੰ ਪਾਕ ਹੋਣਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੀ। ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਗੰਦਗੀ ਤੋਂ ਫੇਰ ਸਾਫ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਂਗੀ, ਜਦ ਤੱਕ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਕਹਿਰ ਤੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਪੂਰਾ ਨਾ ਕਰ ਚੁੱਕਾਂ।
14 I, YHWH, have spoken, It has come, and I have done [it], I do not free, nor do I spare, nor do I regret, According to your ways, and according to your acts, They have judged you, A declaration of Lord YHWH.”
੧੪ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਆਖਿਆ ਹੈ। ਅਜਿਹਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਨੂੰ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ, ਮੈਂ ਨਾ ਮੁੜਾਂਗਾ, ਮੈਂ ਨਾ ਛੱਡਾਂਗਾ, ਨਾ ਪਛਤਾਵਾਂਗਾ, ਤੇਰੇ ਮਾਰਗਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਉਹ ਤੇਰਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰਨਗੇ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਵਾਕ ਹੈ।
15 And there is a word of YHWH to me, saying,
੧੫ਫੇਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਬਚਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਇਆ ਕਿ
16 “Son of man, behold, I am taking the desire of your eyes from you by a stroke, and you do not mourn, nor weep, nor let your tear come.
੧੬ਹੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਵੇਖ, ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਹੀ ਸੱਟ ਨਾਲ ਤੇਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਲਵਾਂਗਾ, ਤੂੰ ਨਾ ਸੋਗ ਕਰੀਂ, ਨਾ ਰੋਈਂ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੰਝੂ ਵਹਾਈਂ।
17 Cease to groan [and] make no mourning [for] the dead, bind your headdress on yourself, and put your shoes on your feet, and you do not cover over the upper lip, and you do not eat [the] bread of men.”
੧੭ਚੁੱਪ-ਚੁੱਪੀਤੇ ਹੌਂਕੇ ਭਰੀਂ, ਮੁਰਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਨਾ ਰੋਈਂ, ਸਿਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਗੜੀ ਬੰਨ੍ਹੀਂ ਅਤੇ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੁੱਤੀ ਪਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੁੱਲ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਢੱਕੀਂ ਅਤੇ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਰੋਟੀ ਨਾ ਖਾਈਂ।
18 And I speak to the people in the morning, and my wife dies in the evening, and I do in the morning as I have been commanded.
੧੮ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਸਵੇਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਵੇਲੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਮਰ ਗਈ, ਅਤੇ ਸਵੇਰੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਹੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਹੁਕਮ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਸੀ।
19 And the people say to me, “Do you not declare to us what these [are] to us, that you are doing?”
੧੯ਇਸ ਲਈ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਜੋ ਤੂੰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਸਾਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੱਸੇਂਗਾ ਕਿ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਕੀ ਸੰਬੰਧ ਹੈ?
20 And I say to them, “A word of YHWH has been to me, saying,
੨੦ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਬਚਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਇਆ ਕਿ
21 Say to the house of Israel, Thus said Lord YHWH: Behold, I am defiling My sanctuary, The excellence of your strength, The desire of your eyes, and the pitied of your soul, And your sons and your daughters whom you have left, fall by sword.
੨੧ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਨੂੰ ਆਖ ਕਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਵੇਖੋ! ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਥਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਦਾ ਮਾਣ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਲਈ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਲਈ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਜਾਨ ਤਰਸਦੀ ਹੈ, ਭਰਿਸ਼ਟ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਤੇ ਧੀਆਂ ਜਿਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਛੱਡ ਆਏ ਹੋ, ਤਲਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਡਿੱਗਣਗੇ।
22 And you have done as I have done, You have not covered over the upper lip, And you do not eat [the] bread of men.
੨੨ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੀ ਕਰੋਗੇ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਮੈਂ ਕੀਤਾ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੁੱਲ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਢੱਕੋਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਰੋਟੀ ਨਾ ਖਾਓਗੇ।
23 And your headdresses [are] on your heads, And your shoes [are] on your feet, You do not mourn nor do you weep, And you have wasted away for your iniquities, And you have howled to one another.
੨੩ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਪਗੜੀਆਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਸਿਰਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਜੁੱਤੀਆਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸੋਗ ਕਰੋਗੇ, ਪਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਿਘਲਦੇ ਰਹੋਗੇ, ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਦੂਜੇ ਲਈ ਧਾਹਾਂ ਮਾਰੋਗੇ।
24 And Ezekiel has been for a type to you; according to all that he has done you do. In its coming in—you have known that I [am] Lord YHWH.”
੨੪ਸੋ ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਏਲ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ ਹੈ। ਸਾਰਾ ਕੁਝ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਕੀਤਾ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵੀ ਕਰੋਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਾਣੋਗੇ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹਾਂ!
25 “And you, son of man, is it not in the day of My taking from them their strength, the joy of their beauty, the desire of their eyes, and the song of their soul—their sons and their daughters?
੨੫ਹੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਜਿਸ ਦਿਨ ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ, ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਤਾਪ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਨਮੋਹਣੇ ਧੀਆਂ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਲੈ ਲਵਾਂਗਾ।
26 In that day the escaped one comes to you to cause the ears to hear.
੨੬ਉਸ ਦਿਨ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਬਚ ਗਿਆ, ਉਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਵੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਤੇਰੇ ਕੰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਖ਼ਬਰ ਸੁਣਾਵੇ।
27 In that day your mouth is opened with the escaped and you speak, and are not silent anymore, and you have been for a type to them, and they have known that I [am] YHWH.”
੨੭ਉਸ ਦਿਨ ਉਸ ਬਚੇ ਹੋਏ ਲਈ ਤੇਰਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਬੋਲੇਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਫੇਰ ਗੂੰਗਾ ਨਾ ਰਹੇਂਗਾ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਤੂੰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ ਹੋਵੇਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹਾਂ!
