Ezekiel 23
1 And there is a word of YHWH to me, saying, “Son of man,
সদাপ্রভুর বাক্য আমার কাছে উপস্থিত হল,
2 Two women were daughters of one mother,
“হে মানবসন্তান, দুজন স্ত্রীলোক ছিল যারা একই মায়ের মেয়ে।
3 And they go whoring in Egypt, They have gone whoring in their youth, There they have bruised their breasts, And there they have dealt with the loves of their virginity.
যৌবনকাল থেকেই তারা মিশরে গণিকা হয়েছিল। সেই দেশে তাদের বুক ধরে সোহাগ করা হত এবং তাদের কুমারী স্তন টিপত।
4 And their names [are] Aholah the older, And Aholibah her sister, And they are Mine, and bear sons and daughters. As for their names—Samaria [is] Aholah, And Jerusalem [is] Aholibah.
তাদের মধ্যে বড়টির নাম অহলা ও তার বোনের নাম ছিল অহলীবা। তারা আমার হল এবং ছেলেমেয়েদের জন্ম দিল। অহলা হল শমরিয়া এবং অহলীবা হল জেরুশালেম।
5 And Aholah goes whoring under Me, and she lusts on her lovers, on the neighboring Assyrians,
“অহলা আমার থাকাতেই ব্যভিচারে লিপ্ত ছিল; এবং তার প্রেমিকদের প্রতি তার কামনা ছিল, আসিরীয়—সৈন্য
6 Clothed with blue—governors and prefects, All of them desirable young men, Horsemen, riding on horses,
পরনে নীল কাপড়, শাসনকর্তা ও সেনাপতি, সকলেই সুন্দর যুবক এবং ঘোড়াসওয়ার।
7 And she gives her whoredoms on them, The choice of the sons of Asshur, All of them—even all on whom she lusted, She has been defiled by all their idols.
সে অভিজাত আসিরীয়দের কাছে নিজেকে বেশ্যারূপে দান করেছিল এবং যাদের সে কামনা করত তাদের সমস্ত দেবতা দ্বারা নিজেকে অশুচি করেছিল।
8 And she has not forsaken her whoredoms out of Egypt, For with her they lay in her youth, And they dealt with the loves of her virginity, And they pour out their whoredoms on her.
সে মিশরে যে বেশ্যাবৃত্তি শুরু করেছিল তা ত্যাগ করেনি, যখন তার যৌবনকালে পুরুষেরা তার কাছে শুত, তার কুমারী স্তন টিপত এবং তাদের কামনা তার উপর ঢেলে দিত।
9 Therefore I have given her into the hand of her lovers, Into the hand of sons of Asshur on whom she lusted.
“সেইজন্য আমি তাকে তার প্রেমিকদের হাতে ছেড়ে দিলাম, সেই আসিরীয়দের, যাদের সে কামনা করত।
10 They have uncovered her nakedness, They have taken her sons and her daughters, And they have slain her by sword, And she is a name for women, And they have done judgments with her.
তারা তাকে উলঙ্গ করে, তার ছেলেমেয়েদের কেড়ে নিয়ে তরোয়াল দিয়ে তাকে মেরে ফেলল। সে স্ত্রীলোকদের আলোচনার বিষয় হল, কারণ তাকে শাস্তি দেওয়া হয়েছিল।
11 And her sister Aholibah sees, And she makes her unhealthy love more corrupt than she, And her whoredoms than the whoredoms of her sister.
“তার বোন অহলীবা এসব দেখেছিল, তবুও তার কামনা এবং বেশ্যাবৃত্তির কারণে সে তার বোনের চেয়ে আরও বেশি চরিত্রহীন ছিল।
12 She has lusted on sons of Asshur, Governors and prefects, Neighboring ones—clothed in perfection, Horsemen, riding on horses, All of them desirable young men.
তারও আসিরীয়—শাসনকর্তা ও সেনাপতি, সম্পূর্ণ পোশাকে যোদ্ধা, ঘোড়াসওয়ার, সকল সুন্দর যুবকদের প্রতি কামনা ছিল।
13 And I see that she has been defiled, One way [is] to them both.
আমি দেখলাম সেও নিজেকে অশুচি করল; দুজনই একই পথে গেল।
14 And she adds to her whoredoms, And she sees men carved on the wall, Pictures of Chaldeans, carved with vermillion,
“কিন্তু সে তার বেশ্যাবৃত্তি আরও বাড়াল। সে দেয়ালের উপর লাল রংয়ে আঁকা কলদীয় পুরুষদের ছবি দেখত,
15 Girded with a girdle on their loins, Dyed attire spread out on their heads, The appearance of rulers—all of them, The likeness of sons of Babylon, Chaldea is the land of their birth.
তাদের কোমর বাঁধনি এবং মাথায় উড়ন্ত পাগড়ি; তারা সবাই দেখতে ব্যাবিলীয় রথের সেনাপতিদের মতো, যারা কলদীয় দেশের অধিবাসী।
16 And she lusts on them at the sight of her eyes, And sends messengers to them, to Chaldea.
তাদের দেখামাত্র তাদের প্রতি তার কামনা জাগত, এবং কলদীয় দেশে তাদের কাছে দূত পাঠাত।
17 And sons of Babylon come in to her, To the bed of loves, And they defile her with their whoredoms, And she is defiled with them, And her soul is alienated from them.
তারপর ব্যাবিলীয়রা তার কাছে এসে তার সঙ্গে বিছানায় যেত এবং ব্যভিচার করে তাকে অশুচি করত। তাদের দ্বারা অশুচি হবার পর সে তাদের ঘৃণা করতে লাগল।
18 And she reveals her whoredoms, And she reveals her nakedness, And My soul is alienated from off her, As My soul was alienated from off her sister.
সে খোলাখুলিভাবে যখন তার বেশ্যার কাজ চালাতে লাগল এবং তার উলঙ্গতা প্রকাশ করল তখন আমি তাকে ঘৃণা করলাম, যেমন আমি তার বোনকে ঘৃণা করেছিলাম।
19 And she multiplies her whoredoms, To remember the days of her youth, When she went whoring in the land of Egypt.
যৌবনে সে যখন মিশরে গণিকা ছিল তখনকার দিনগুলির কথা মনে করে সে আরও বেশি ব্যভিচার করতে লাগল।
20 And she lusts on their lovers, Whose flesh [is] the flesh of donkeys, And the emission of horses—their emission.
সেখানে সে তার প্রেমিকদের সাথে এমন যৌনাচার করত যাদের যৌনাঙ্গগুলি ছিল গাধার মতো ও নিঃসরণ ছিল ঘোড়ার মতো।
21 You look after the wickedness of your youth, In dealing out of Egypt your loves, For the sake of the breasts of your youth.
তোমার যৌবনকালে মিশরে যেমন তোমার বুক ধরে আদর করত এবং টিপত, তুমি আবার সেই যৌবনকালীন ব্যভিচারের আকাঙ্ক্ষা করছ।
22 Therefore, O Aholibah, thus said Lord YHWH: Behold, I am stirring up your lovers against you, From whom your soul has been alienated, And have brought them in against you from all around.
“এই জন্য, অহলীবা, সার্বভৌম সদাপ্রভু এই কথা বলেন, তোমার যেসব প্রেমিকদের তুমি ঘৃণা করেছ, আমি তাদেরই তোমার বিরুদ্ধে উত্তেজিত করব এবং চারিদিক থেকে আমি তাদের তোমার বিরুদ্ধে নিয়ে আসব,
23 Sons of Babylon, and of all Chaldea, Pekod, and Shoa, and Koa, All the sons of Asshur with them, Desirable young men, governors and prefects, All of them—rulers and proclaimed ones, All of them riding on horses.
তারা হল ব্যাবিলীয়রা এবং কলদীয়েরা, পকোদ, শোয়া ও কোয়ার লোকেরা, এবং সমস্ত আসিরীয়রা, সুন্দর যুবকেরা, সকলেই শাসনকর্তা ও সেনাপতি, রথের কর্মচারী, উঁচু পদের লোক এবং ঘোড়াসওয়ার।
24 And they have come in against you, With arms, rider, and wheel, And with an assembly of peoples; Buckler, and shield, and helmet, They set against you all around, And I have set judgment before them, They have judged you in their judgments.
তারা তোমার বিরুদ্ধে অস্ত্র, রথ ও মালবাহী শকট এবং লোকজনের মস্ত বড়ো একটি দল নিয়ে আসবে; তারা ছোটো ও বড়ো ঢাল নিয়ে মাথা ঢাকার টুপি পরে তোমাকে ঘেরাও করবে। শাস্তি পাবার জন্য আমি তোমাকে তাদের হাতে তুলে দেব এবং তারা তাদের বিচারের নিয়ম অনুসারে তোমাকে শাস্তি দেবে।
25 And I have set My jealousy against you, And they have dealt with you in fury, They turn aside your nose and your ears, And your posterity falls by sword, They take away your sons and your daughters, And your posterity is devoured by fire.
আমার অন্তর্জ্বালা আমি তোমার বিরুদ্ধেই কাজে লাগাব বলে তারা তাদের প্রকোপ তোমার প্রতি ব্যবহার করবে। তারা তোমার নাক ও কান কেটে দেবে এবং তোমার বাকি লোকদের তরোয়াল দিয়ে মেরে ফেলবে। তারা তোমার ছেলেমেয়েদের নিয়ে যাবে, আর তোমার বাকি লোকেরা আগুনে পুড়ে মরবে।
26 And they have stripped you of your garments, And have taken your beautiful jewels.
তারা তোমাকে বিবস্ত্র করবে এবং তোমার সুন্দর গহনা নিয়ে নেবে।
27 And I have caused your wickedness to cease from you, And your whoredoms out of the land of Egypt, And you do not lift up your eyes to them, And you do not remember Egypt again.
যে ব্যভিচার ও গণিকাবৃত্তি তুমি মিশরে শুরু করেছিলে তা আমি এইভাবে বন্ধ করে দেব। তাতে তুমি এই জিনিসগুলির প্রতি আকৃষ্ট হবে না অথবা মিশরকে আর মনেও রাখবে না।
28 For thus said Lord YHWH: Behold, I am giving you into a hand that you have hated, Into a hand from which you were alienated.
“কেননা সার্বভৌম সদাপ্রভু এই কথা বলেন, তুমি যাদের ঘৃণা করো, যাদের প্রতি বিরক্ত হয়ে তুমি তাড়িয়ে দিয়েছ আমি তোমাকে তাদের হাতেই তুলে দেব।
29 And they have dealt with you in hatred, And they have taken all your labor, And they have left you naked and bare, And the nakedness of your whoredoms has been revealed, And the wickedness of your whoredoms.
তারা তোমার প্রতি ঘৃণার সঙ্গে ব্যবহার করবে এবং তুমি যা কিছু উপার্জন করেছ তার সবকিছু নিয়ে নেবে। তারা তোমাকে উলঙ্গিনী ও বিবস্ত্রা করে ছেড়ে চলে যাবে, এবং তোমার গণিকাবৃত্তির লজ্জা প্রকাশ পাবে। তোমার ব্যভিচার ও কুকর্মের জন্য
30 To do these things to you, In your going whoring after nations, Because you have been defiled with their idols,
এই সমস্ত তোমার উপরে পড়েছে, কারণ জাতিগণের সঙ্গে ব্যভিচার করেছ এবং তাদের প্রতিমাগুলি দিয়ে নিজেকে অশুচি করেছ।
31 You have walked in the way of your sister, And I have given her cup into your hand.
তুমি তোমার বোনের পথ অনুসরণ করেছ; এই জন্য আমি তার পানপাত্র তোমার হাতে দেব।
32 Thus said Lord YHWH: You drink the cup of your sister, The deep and the wide one (You are for laughter and for scorn), Abundant to contain.
“সার্বভৌম সদাপ্রভু এই কথা বলেন, “তুমি তোমার বোনের পাত্রে পান করবে, সেই পাত্র বড়ো ও গভীর; এটি অপমান এবং উপহাস নিয়ে আসবে, কারণ এতে অনেক ধরে।
33 You are filled with drunkenness and sorrow, A cup of astonishment and desolation, The cup of your sister Samaria.
তুমি মাতলামিতে ও দুঃখে পূর্ণ হবে, ধ্বংসের ও নির্জনতার পানপাত্র, তোমার বোন শমরিয়ার পানপাত্র।
34 And you have drunk it, and have drained [it], And you gnaw its earthen ware, And you pluck off your own breasts, For I have spoken, A declaration of Lord YHWH,
তুমি তাতে পান করবে এবং চেটেপুটে পান করবে; তা তুমি ভেঙে চুরমার করবে এবং নিজের বুক ছিঁড়ে ফেলবে। সার্বভৌম সদাপ্রভু বলেন, আমি বলছি।
35 Therefore, thus said Lord YHWH: Because you have forgotten Me, And you cast Me behind your back, Even you also bear your wickedness and your whoredoms.”
“সুতরাং সার্বভৌম সদাপ্রভু এই কথা বলেন যেহেতু তুমি আমাকে ভুলে গিয়েছ এবং আমার দিকে পিঠ ফিরিয়েছ বলে তোমাকে তোমার ঘৃণ্য কাজের ও বেশ্যাবৃত্তির ফলভোগ করতে হবে।”
36 And YHWH says to me, “Son of man, Do you judge Aholah and Aholibah? Then declare their abominations to them.
সদাপ্রভু আমাকে বললেন “হে মানবসন্তান, তুমি কি অহলা এবং অহলীবার বিচার করবে? তাহলে তাদের ঘৃণ্য কাজের বিষয় তাদের সম্মুখীন হও,
37 For they have committed adultery, And blood [is] in their hands, They committed adultery with their idols, And also their sons whom they bore to Me, They caused to pass over to them for food.
কারণ তারা ব্যভিচার করেছে এবং তাদের হাতে রক্ত রয়েছে। তাদের প্রতিমাগুলির সঙ্গে ব্যভিচার করেছে; যে সন্তানদের আমার জন্য জন্ম দিয়েছিলে তাদের প্রতিমাদের খাদ্যের জন্য উৎসর্গ করেছে।
38 Again, they have done this to Me, They defiled My sanctuary in that day, And they have defiled My Sabbaths.
তারা এই কাজ আমার প্রতিও করেছে সেই একই সময় তারা আমার পবিত্রস্থান অশুচি করেছে এবং আমার সাব্বাথের পবিত্রতা রক্ষা করেনি।
39 And in their slaughtering their sons to their idols They also come into My sanctuary in that day to defile it, And behold, thus they have done in the midst of My house,
যেদিন তারা তাদের প্রতিমাদের কাছে তাদের সন্তানদের উৎসর্গ করেছিল সেদিনই তারা আমার পবিত্রস্থানে গিয়ে তা অপবিত্র করেছে। তারা আমার গৃহের মধ্যেই এই কাজ করেছে।
40 And also that they send to men coming from afar, To whom a messenger is sent, And behold, they have come in for whom you have washed, Painted your eyes, and put on adornment.
“তারা দূর থেকে পুরুষদের নিয়ে আসার জন্য সংবাদদাতাদের পাঠিয়েছিল, আর যখন তারা এল তোমরা তাদের জন্য স্নান করেছিলে, চোখে কাজল দিয়েছিলে এবং তোমাদের অলংকার পরেছিলে।
41 And you have sat on a couch of honor, And a table arrayed before it, And placed My incense and My oil on it.
তোমরা সুন্দর বিছানায় শুয়ে তার সামনে একটি টেবিল রেখে আমারই সুগন্ধি এবং জলপাই তেল তার উপরে রেখেছিলে।
42 And the voice of a multitude at ease [is] with her, And Sabeans from the wilderness are brought in to men of the common people, And they put bracelets on their hands, And a beautiful crown on their heads.
“তার চারিদিকে ছিল চিন্তাহীন লোকেদের কোলাহল; উচ্ছৃঙ্খল জনতার সঙ্গে মরুভূমি থেকে মদ্যপায়ীদের আনা হয়েছিল, তারা সেই দুই বোনের হাতে চুড়ি এবং তাদের মাথায় সুন্দর মুকুট পরিয়েছিল।
43 And I say of the worn-out one in adulteries, Now they commit her whoredoms—she also!
তখন ব্যভিচার করে দুর্বল হয়ে যাওয়া এক স্ত্রীলোকের বিষয় আমি বলেছিলাম, ‘এখন লোকেরা গণিকা হিসেবে তার সঙ্গে ব্যবহার করুক, কারণ সে তাই।’
44 And they come in to her, As the coming in to a whorish woman, So they have come in to Aholah, And to Aholibah—the wicked women.
আর তারা তার সঙ্গে শয়ন করল। একজন গণিকার সঙ্গে যেমন লোকে শয়ন করে, তেমনি করে তারা সেই কামুক স্ত্রীলোক, অহলা ও অহলীবার সঙ্গে শয়ন করেছিল।
45 As for righteous men, they judge them with the judgment of adulteresses, And the judgment of women shedding blood, For they [are] adulteresses, And blood [is] in their hands.
কিন্তু ধার্মিক বিচারকেরা ব্যভিচার ও রক্তপাতের পাওনা শাস্তি সেই স্ত্রীলোকদের দেবে, কারণ তারা ব্যভিচারিণী আর তাদের হাতে রক্ত রয়েছে।
46 For thus said Lord YHWH: Bring up an assembly against them, And give them to trembling and to spoiling.
“সার্বভৌম সদাপ্রভু এই কথা বলেন, তুমি তাদের বিরুদ্ধে একদল লোক নিয়ে যাও এবং আতঙ্ক ও লুটের হাতে তাদের তুলে দাও।
47 And they have cast the stone of the assembly at them, And cut them with their swords, They slay their sons and their daughters, And they burn their houses with fire.
সেই জনতা তাদের পাথর ছুঁড়ে মেরে ফেলবে এবং তরোয়াল দিয়ে তাদের টুকরো টুকরো করে কাটবে; তারা তাদের ছেলেদের ও মেয়েদের মেরে ফেলবে এবং তাদের ঘরবাড়ি পুড়িয়ে দেবে।
48 And I have caused wickedness to cease from the land, And all the women have been instructed, And they do not do according to your wickedness.
“এইভাবে আমি দেশের মধ্যে কুকাজ শেষ করব, যেন সমস্ত স্ত্রীলোকেরা এটাকে সাবধানবাণী হিসেবে নেয় এবং তোমাদের অনুকরণ না করে।
49 And they have put your wickedness on you, And you bear the sins of your idols, And you have known that I [am] Lord YHWH!”
তোমাদের কুকাজের ফল তোমাদেরই ভোগ করতে হবে এবং প্রতিমাপুজোর পাপের ফল বহন করতে হবে। তখন তোমরা জানবে যে, আমিই সার্বভৌম সদাপ্রভু।”
