Ezekiel 22
1 And there is a word of YHWH to me, saying,
Yehowa ƒe nya va nam be:
2 “And you, son of man, do you judge? Do you judge the city of blood? Then you have caused it to know all its abominations,
“Ame vi, àdrɔ̃ ʋɔnuia? Àdrɔ ʋɔnu ʋukɔkɔɖi ƒe dua? Ekema tsɔ eƒe ŋukpenanuwɔnawo ɖo eƒe ŋkume,
3 and you have said, Thus said Lord YHWH: The city is shedding blood in its midst, For the coming in of its time, And it has made idols on it for defilement.
eye nàgblɔ be, ‘Ale Aƒetɔ Yehowa gblɔe nye esi: Du si he tsɔtsrɔ̃ va eɖokui dzi to ʋukɔkɔɖi le eƒe amewo dome, eye wòdo gu eɖokui to aklamakpakpɛwo wɔwɔ na eɖokui me.
4 You have been guilty by your blood that you have shed, And you have been defiled by your idols that you have made, And you cause your days to draw near, And have come to your years, Therefore I have given you [for] a reproach to nations, And a derision to all the lands.
Èɖi fɔ le ʋu si nèkɔ ɖi ta, eye nègblẽ kɔ ɖo na ɖokuiwò le aklamakpakpɛ siwo nèwɔ la ta. Èhe nuwuwu na wò ŋkekewo vɛ, eye wò ƒewo ƒe nuwuwu va ɖo. Eya ta mawɔ wò nàzu fewuɖunu na dukɔwo kple alɔmeɖenu na anyigbawo katã.
5 The near and the far-off from you scoff at you, O defiled of name—abounding in trouble.
Kpuiƒetɔwo kple didiƒetɔwo siaa aɖu fewu le ŋuwò. O! Du maxɔŋkɔ, si yɔ fũu kple ʋunyaʋunya.
6 Behold, princes of Israel—each according to his arm Have been in you to shed blood.
“‘Kpɔ ale si Israel dziɖula ɖe sia ɖe si le mewò la wɔa eƒe ŋusẽ ŋu dɔ be yeakɔ ʋu ɖi la ɖa.
7 They have made light of father and mother in you, They dealt oppressively to a sojourner in your midst, They oppressed fatherless and widow in you.
Le mewò la, wodoa vlo fofo kple dada, le mewò la, wotea amedzrowo ɖe to, eye wosẽa ŋuta le tsyɔ̃eviwo kple ahosiwo ŋuti.
8 You have despised My holy things, And you have defiled My Sabbaths.
Miedo vlo nye nu kɔkɔewo, eye miegblẽ kɔ ɖo na nye Dzudzɔgbewo.
9 Men of slander have been in you to shed blood, And they have eaten on the mountains in you, They have done wickedness in your midst.
Le mewò la, ameŋugblẽlawo li, siwo dina vevie be yewoakɔ ʋu ɖi. Le mewò la, amewo li, siwo ɖua nu le nuxeƒewo, le towo dzi, eye wowɔa ŋukpenanuwo.
10 One has uncovered the nakedness of a father in you, They humbled the menstruous woman in you.
Le mewò la, ame siwo doa vlo wo fofowo ƒe aba kple ame siwo dɔna kple nyɔnu siwo kpɔ dzinu, eye wo ŋuti mekɔ o la le.
11 And each has done abomination with the wife of his neighbor, And each has defiled his daughter-in-law through wickedness, And each has humbled his sister, his father’s daughter, in you.
Le mewò la, ŋutsu aɖe wɔ ŋukpenanu kple nɔvia ŋutsu aɖe srɔ̃, ŋutsu bubu dɔ eya ŋutɔ via ŋutsu srɔ̃ gbɔ, eye bubu dɔ eya ŋutɔ nɔvia nyɔnu gbɔ, ame si nye eya ŋutɔ fofovia nyɔnu.
12 They have taken a bribe to shed blood in you, You have taken usury and increase, And cut off your neighbor by oppression, And you have forgotten Me, A declaration of Lord YHWH!
Le mewò la, amewo xɔa zãnu be yewoakɔ ʋu ɖi. Woxɔa awɔbanu kple deme kɔkɔwo, eye wokpɔa viɖe madzemadze to wo nɔviwo baba me. Eye mieŋlɔm be. Aƒetɔ Yehowae gblɔe.
13 And behold, I have struck My hand, Because of your dishonest gain that you have gained, And for your blood that has been in your midst.
“‘Maƒo asikpe kplokplokpo kokoko le viɖe madzɔmadzɔ si miekpɔ kple ʋu si miekɔ ɖi le mia dome la ta.
14 Does your heart stand—are your hands strong, For the days that I am dealing with you? I, YHWH, have spoken and have done [it].
Ɖe dzi anɔ mia ƒo alo miaƒe asiwo asẽ ŋu le ŋkeke si matu nu kple mi la dzia? Nye, Yehowae ƒo nu, eye mawɔe hã.
15 And I have scattered you among nations, And have spread you out among lands, And consumed your uncleanness out of you.
Makaka mi ɖe dukɔwo dome kple anyigbawo dzi, eye matsi miaƒe makɔmakɔnyenye nu.
16 And you have been defiled in yourself Before the eyes of nations, And you have known that I [am] YHWH.”
Ne wodo gu mi le dukɔwo ƒe ŋkume la, mianya be nyee nye Yehowa.’”
17 And there is a word of YHWH to me, saying,
Tete Aƒetɔ Yehowa ƒe nya va nam.
18 “Son of man, the house of Israel has been for dross to Me, All of them [are] bronze, and tin, and iron, and lead, In the midst of a furnace—silver has been dross,
“Ame vi, Israel ƒe aƒe blibo la zu aŋɔka nam; wo katã wonye akɔbli, gaɣi, gayibɔ kple tsumi si susɔ ɖe kpodzo me. Wole ko abe klosaloŋuka ene.
19 Therefore, thus said Lord YHWH: Because you have all become dross, Therefore, behold, I am gathering you into the midst of Jerusalem,
Eya ta ale Aƒetɔ Yehowa gblɔe nye esi: ‘Esi mi katã miezu aŋɔka ta la, maƒo ƒu mi ayi Yerusalem.
20 A gathering of silver, and bronze, and iron, and lead, and tin, Into the midst of a furnace—to blow fire on it, to melt it, So I gather in My anger and in My fury, And I have let rest, and have melted you.
Abe ale si amewo ƒoa ƒu klosalo, akɔbli, gayibɔ, tsumi kple gaɣi dea kpodzo me be woalolõ wo ene la, nenema maƒo mia nu ƒu le nye dɔmedzoe kple dziku me, eye mada mi ɖe du gã la me, alolõ mi.
21 And I have heaped you up, And blown on you in the fire of My wrath, And you have been melted in its midst.
Maƒo ƒu mia nu, eye matrɔ nye dɔmedzoe ƒe dzo akɔ ɖe mia dzi, eye woalolõ mi.
22 As the melting of silver in the midst of a furnace, So you are melted in its midst, And you have known that I, YHWH, have poured out My fury on you.”
Abe ale si wololõa klosalo le kpodzo me ene la, nenema woalolõ mi le emee, eye mianya be nye, Yehowae trɔ nye dɔmedzoe kɔ ɖe mia dzi.’”
23 And there is a word of YHWH to me, saying,
Yehowa ƒe nya gava nam be,
24 “Son of man, say to it, You [are] a land, It [is] not cleansed nor rained on in a day of indignation.
“Ame vi, gblɔ na anyigba la be, ‘Ènye anyigba aɖe si dzi tsi alo agbafie medza ɖo le dzikuŋkeke la dzi o.’
25 A conspiracy of its prophets [is] in its midst, As a roaring lion tearing prey; They have devoured the soul, They have taken wealth and glory, Its widows have multiplied in its midst.
Eƒe fiaviŋutsuwo bla nu le eme abe dzata si le gbe ɖem hele nu si wòlé la vuvum ene; wovuvua ame, tsɔa kesinɔnuwo kple nu xɔasiwo, eye wonana nyɔnu geɖewo zua ahosiwo le eme.
26 Its priests have wronged My law, And they defile My holy things, They have not made separation between holy and common, And they have not made known [the difference] between the unclean and the clean, And they have hidden their eyes from My Sabbaths, And I am pierced in their midst.
Eƒe nunɔlawo wɔa nu tovo ɖe nye se la ŋu, eye wodoa gu nye nu kɔkɔewo; womedea vovototo nye nu kɔkɔewo kple nu gbɔlowo dome o; wofiana be, vovototo aɖeke mele nu siwo dza kple nu siwo medza o la dome o. Woŋea aɖaba ƒua nye Dzudzɔgbe la ƒe ɖoɖowo dzi, ale wogblẽa kɔ ɖo nam le wo dome.
27 Its princes [are] as wolves in its midst, Tearing prey, to shed blood, to destroy souls, For the sake of gaining dishonest gain.
Woƒe amegãwo le abe amegaxiwo ene le eme, eye wovuvua nu siwo wolé. Wokɔa ʋu ɖi, eye wowua amewo be woawɔ viɖe madzɔmadzɔwo.
28 And its prophets have coated with chalk for them, Seeing a vain thing, and divining a lie for them, Saying, Thus said Lord YHWH, And YHWH has not spoken.
Woƒe nyagblɔɖilawo siaa akalo ɖe nu ŋu na wo to aʋatsoŋutegawo me, eye wogblɔa alakpanyawo na wo be, ‘Ale Aƒetɔ Yehowa gblɔe nye esi.’ Le esime wònye Aƒetɔ la meƒo nu o hafi.
29 The people of the land have used oppression, And have taken plunder away violently, And have oppressed humble and needy, And oppressed the sojourner without judgment.
Anyigba la dzi nɔlawo baa ame, eye wodaa adzo; wotea ame dahewo kple hiãtɔwo ɖe anyi, wowɔa nu madzɔmadzɔwo ɖe amedzrowo ŋu, eye womedrɔ̃a nya dzɔdzɔe na wo o.
30 And I seek from them a man making a wall, And standing in the breach before Me, In behalf of the land—not to destroy it, And I have found none.
“Medi ame aɖe le wo dome, ame si atu gli la, eye wòatsi tsitre ɖe nye ŋkume le gbadzaƒe le ameawo teƒe, ale be nyemagblẽ nu o, gake nyemekpɔ ame aɖeke o.
31 And I pour out My indignation on them, I have consumed them by [the] fire of My wrath, I have put their way on their own head, A declaration of Lord YHWH!”
Eya ta matrɔ nye dziku akɔ ɖe wo dzi, mabi wo kple nye dɔmedzoe, eye mahe nu siwo katã wowɔ la va da ɖe woƒe ta dzi. Aƒetɔ Yehowae gblɔe.”
