Ezekiel 22
1 And there is a word of YHWH to me, saying,
Angraeng ih lok kai khaeah angzoh,
2 “And you, son of man, do you judge? Do you judge the city of blood? Then you have caused it to know all its abominations,
kami capa, lok na caek han maw? Athii longsak vangpui lokcaek han nam sak coek boeh maw? Ue, a sak ih panuet thok hmuenawk to amtuengsak boih ah.
3 and you have said, Thus said Lord YHWH: The city is shedding blood in its midst, For the coming in of its time, And it has made idols on it for defilement.
Anih khaeah, Angraeng Sithaw mah, Vangpui loe a thungah kami athii to longsak moe, angmah amhnong hanah krangnawk to a sak, anih ih atue loe pha tih boeh.
4 You have been guilty by your blood that you have shed, And you have been defiled by your idols that you have made, And you cause your days to draw near, And have come to your years, Therefore I have given you [for] a reproach to nations, And a derision to all the lands.
Nang loe na palongh ih athii hoiah na zae boeh moe, na sak ih krangnawk hoiah nam hnong boeh; na hing boenghaih atue loe zoi boeh moe, na saning boenghaih atuenawk doeh phak boeh; to pongah Sithaw panoek ai kaminawk mah kasae thuih moe, prae congca kaminawk mah pahnui thuih hanah kang sak han, tiah thui paeh, tiah ang naa.
5 The near and the far-off from you scoff at you, O defiled of name—abounding in trouble.
Ahmin kasae, lokpunghaih hoiah kakoi vangpui nang loe kazoi ah om kaminawk hoi angthla ah om kaminawk mah pahnui o thui tih.
6 Behold, princes of Israel—each according to his arm Have been in you to shed blood.
Khenah, nang thungah kaom Israel angraengnawk boih loe tha patohhaih hoiah athii long o sak boeh.
7 They have made light of father and mother in you, They dealt oppressively to a sojourner in your midst, They oppressed fatherless and widow in you.
Nang thungah kaom kaminawk mah amno hoi ampa to patoek o: nang thungah kaom kaminawk mah angvinnawk to pacaekthlaek o moe, ampa tawn ai kami hoi lamhmainawk doeh pacaekthlaek o.
8 You have despised My holy things, And you have defiled My Sabbaths.
Kai ih kaciim hmuennawk to na patoek moe, kai ih Sabbath doeh panuet om ah na sak.
9 Men of slander have been in you to shed blood, And they have eaten on the mountains in you, They have done wickedness in your midst.
Kami athii palong han pacuek kaminawk loe nang thungah oh o; maenawk nuiah buh caa kaminawk doeh nang thungah oh o, zaehaih sah kaminawk doeh nang thungah ni khosak o.
10 One has uncovered the nakedness of a father in you, They humbled the menstruous woman in you.
Nang thungah ampa iihhaih ahmuen amhnongsak kaminawk to oh o; athii kalong nongpata hoi iip kaminawk doeh nang thungah oh o.
11 And each has done abomination with the wife of his neighbor, And each has defiled his daughter-in-law through wickedness, And each has humbled his sister, his father’s daughter, in you.
Nang thung ih kami maeto loe a imtaeng kami ih zu hoiah panuet thok hmuen to sak, kalah thoemto kaminawk mah loe a capa ih zu to muk pae o, nang thung ih kalah thoemto kaminawk loe angmah ih tanuh, ampa ih canu to zae o haih.
12 They have taken a bribe to shed blood in you, You have taken usury and increase, And cut off your neighbor by oppression, And you have forgotten Me, A declaration of Lord YHWH!
Nang thung ih kami mah athii palong hanah tangqum to lak o; a caa kapung caak hanah phoisa to na coisak, na imtaeng kaminawk ih hmuenmae to na lomh pae o moe, kai nang pahnet o boeh, tiah Angraeng Sithaw mah thuih.
13 And behold, I have struck My hand, Because of your dishonest gain that you have gained, And for your blood that has been in your midst.
Khenah, na lomh ih hmuennawk hoi nang thungah kalong athii pongah, ban ka tabaeng.
14 Does your heart stand—are your hands strong, For the days that I am dealing with you? I, YHWH, have spoken and have done [it].
Lok kang caek naah, na palung mah khaang thaih ueloe, na ban thacak poe tih maw? Kai Angraeng loe ka thuih ih lok baktih toengah ka sak han.
15 And I have scattered you among nations, And have spread you out among lands, And consumed your uncleanness out of you.
Sithaw panoek ai kaminawk salakah kang haehsak phang moe, prae congca boih ah kam hetsak han, nam hnonghaih doeh kang pasaeh pae han.
16 And you have been defiled in yourself Before the eyes of nations, And you have known that I [am] YHWH.”
Nangcae loe Sithaw panoek ai kaminawk salakah panuet thok ah na om o tih, to pacoengah Kai loe Angraeng ni, tiah na panoek o tih, tiah thuih.
17 And there is a word of YHWH to me, saying,
To pacoengah Angraeng ih lok kai khaeah angzoh,
18 “Son of man, the house of Israel has been for dross to Me, All of them [are] bronze, and tin, and iron, and lead, In the midst of a furnace—silver has been dross,
kami capa, Israel imthung takoh loe kai hanah sum aek ah ni oh boeh; nihcae boih loe sum pakawhaih hmai kamngaeh thung ih rong kamling sum, camphaeh, sum hoi kanglung sumtui baktiah oh o moe, sum aek ah ni a oh o.
19 Therefore, thus said Lord YHWH: Because you have all become dross, Therefore, behold, I am gathering you into the midst of Jerusalem,
To pongah Angraeng Sithaw mah, Khenah, nangcae loe sum aek kanglung ah na oh o boih boeh pongah, Jerusalem thungah kang pakhueng o han.
20 A gathering of silver, and bronze, and iron, and lead, and tin, Into the midst of a furnace—to blow fire on it, to melt it, So I gather in My anger and in My fury, And I have let rest, and have melted you.
Sum kanglung, sum kamling, sum, sumtui hoi camphaehnawk atui pakaw hanah, sumtui pakawhaih ahmuen ah, hmai pangaeh o thuih baktih toengah, nangcae doeh palungphuihaih hoiah kang lak o moe, vangpui thungah kang pakhueng o pacoengah, atui kang pakaw o han.
21 And I have heaped you up, And blown on you in the fire of My wrath, And you have been melted in its midst.
Ue, kang lak o moe, palungphuihaih hmai hoiah kang hmuh o thuih han, nangcae loe a thungah atui nam kaw o tih.
22 As the melting of silver in the midst of a furnace, So you are melted in its midst, And you have known that I, YHWH, have poured out My fury on you.”
Sum kanglung loe hmai kamngaeh thungah atui amkaw baktih toengah, nangcae doeh a thungah atui nam kaw o toeng tih; to naah Kai, Angraeng mah nangcae nuiah palungphuihaih kraih thuih boeh, tito na panoek o tih, tiah thui paeh, tiah ang naa.
23 And there is a word of YHWH to me, saying,
To pacoengah Angraeng ih lok kai khaeah angzoh,
24 “Son of man, say to it, You [are] a land, It [is] not cleansed nor rained on in a day of indignation.
kami capa, prae khaeah, Nang loe palungphuihaih niah, kho angzo ai, ciimcai ai prae ah ni na oh, tiah thui paeh.
25 A conspiracy of its prophets [is] in its midst, As a roaring lion tearing prey; They have devoured the soul, They have taken wealth and glory, Its widows have multiplied in its midst.
To prae thung ih tahmaanawk loe kaipui mah hang moe, moi to kaek baktih toengah, kaminawk ih hinghaih lak hanah pacaeng o boeh; hmuenmae hoi atho kana hmuennawk to a lak o; prae thungah lamhmainawk pop o sak boeh.
26 Its priests have wronged My law, And they defile My holy things, They have not made separation between holy and common, And they have not made known [the difference] between the unclean and the clean, And they have hidden their eyes from My Sabbaths, And I am pierced in their midst.
Anih ih qaimanawk loe ka patuk ih loknawk to aek o moe, kai ih ciimcai hmuennawk to panuet thok ah a sak o; ciimcai hmuen hoi ciimcai ai hmuen to pathlaenghaih tawn o ai; panuet thok hmuen hoi panuet thok ai hmuen doeh pathlaeng o ai; kai ih Sabbath to angqoi o taak moe, nihcae salakah mikhmai ang set o sak.
27 Its princes [are] as wolves in its midst, Tearing prey, to shed blood, to destroy souls, For the sake of gaining dishonest gain.
Athung ih angraengnawk doeh moi kaek tasuinawk baktiah oh o, amsoem ai loklam hoi hmuen hak thai hanah, athii long o sak moe, kaminawk to hum o.
28 And its prophets have coated with chalk for them, Seeing a vain thing, and divining a lie for them, Saying, Thus said Lord YHWH, And YHWH has not spoken.
Tahmaanawk doeh Angraeng mah thui ai to mah, Angraeng Sitawh mah thuih, tiah tidoeh avang ai hnuksakhaih hmuen to a hnuk o, amsawnlok a thuih o moe, nihcae to param long hoiah pazut o.
29 The people of the land have used oppression, And have taken plunder away violently, And have oppressed humble and needy, And oppressed the sojourner without judgment.
Prae thung ih kaminawk loe pacaekthlaekhaih, minawk ih hmuenmae taekhaih, mithoe hoi amtang kaminawk to hnaphnae o; ue, angvinnawk to amsoem ai ah pacaekthlaek o.
30 And I seek from them a man making a wall, And standing in the breach before Me, In behalf of the land—not to destroy it, And I have found none.
To prae to ka phraek han ai ah pakaakung, sipae salakah ka hmaa ah angdoet moe, pading thaih koi kami to nihcae thungah ka pakrong; toe mi doeh ka hnu ai.
31 And I pour out My indignation on them, I have consumed them by [the] fire of My wrath, I have put their way on their own head, A declaration of Lord YHWH!”
To pongah nihcae nuiah palungphuihaih ka kraih moe, palungphuihaih hmai hoiah nihcae to ka paduek han; a sak o ih hmuennawk to angmacae lu nuiah ka kraksak let han, tiah Angraeng Sithaw mah thuih, tiah thuih pae han ang naa.
