Ezekiel 2
1 His appearance [was] of the likeness of the glory of YHWH, and I see, and fall on my face, and I hear a voice speaking, and He says to me, “Son of man, stand on your feet, and I speak with you.”
Me dijo: “Hijo de hombre, ponte en pie, y hablaré contigo”.
2 And [the] Spirit comes into me when He has spoken to me, and causes me to stand on my feet, and I hear Him who is speaking to me.
El Espíritu entró en mí cuando me habló, y me puso en pie; y oí al que me hablaba.
3 And He says to me, “Son of man, I am sending you to the sons of Israel, to rebelling nations who have rebelled against Me; they and their fathers have transgressed against Me, to this very day.
Me dijo: “Hijo de hombre, te envío a los hijos de Israel, a una nación de rebeldes que se ha rebelado contra mí. Ellos y sus padres se han rebelado contra mí hasta el día de hoy.
4 And the sons [are] brazen-faced and hard-hearted to whom I am sending you, and you have said to them: Thus said Lord YHWH.
Los hijos son insolentes y de corazón rígido. Te envío a ellos, y les dirás: ‘Esto es lo que dice el Señor Yahvé’.
5 And they—whether they hear, or whether they refrain, for they [are] a house of rebellion—have known that a prophet has been in their midst.
Ellos, ya sea que escuchen o que se nieguen — pues son una casa rebelde —, sabrán que ha habido un profeta entre ellos.
6 And you, son of man, you are not afraid of them, indeed, you are not afraid of their words, for briers and thorns are with you, and you are dwelling near scorpions, you are not afraid of their words, and you are not frightened of their faces, for they [are] a house of rebellion,
Tú, hijo de hombre, no les tengas miedo, ni te asustes de sus palabras, aunque te acompañen zarzas y espinas, y habites entre escorpiones. No tengas miedo de sus palabras, ni te asustes por su aspecto, aunque sean una casa rebelde.
7 and you have spoken My words to them, whether they hear or whether they refrain, for they [are] a rebellion.
Tú les dirás mis palabras, tanto si las escuchan como si las rechazan, porque son muy rebeldes.
8 And you, son of man, hear that which I am speaking to you; do not be of rebellion like the house of rebellion, open your mouth and eat that which I am giving to you.”
Pero tú, hijo de hombre, escucha lo que te digo. No seas rebelde como esa casa rebelde. Abre tu boca y come lo que te doy”.
9 And I look, and behold, a hand [is] sent forth to me, and behold, a roll of a scroll [is] in it,
Cuando miré, he aquí que una mano se extendía hacia mí, y he aquí que había en ella un rollo de libro.
10 and He spreads it before me, and it is written in front and behind, and written on it [are] lamentations, and mourning, and woe!
Lo extendió ante mí. Estaba escrito por dentro y por fuera; y en él estaban escritas lamentaciones, lamentos y aflicciones.
