Ezekiel 2
1 His appearance [was] of the likeness of the glory of YHWH, and I see, and fall on my face, and I hear a voice speaking, and He says to me, “Son of man, stand on your feet, and I speak with you.”
E disse-me: Filho do homem, põe-te sobre os teus pés, e falarei contigo.
2 And [the] Spirit comes into me when He has spoken to me, and causes me to stand on my feet, and I hear Him who is speaking to me.
Então entrou em mim o espírito, falando ele comigo, que me pôs sobre os meus pés, e ouvi o que me falava.
3 And He says to me, “Son of man, I am sending you to the sons of Israel, to rebelling nations who have rebelled against Me; they and their fathers have transgressed against Me, to this very day.
E disse-me: Filho do homem, eu te envio aos filhos de Israel, às nações rebeldes que se rebelaram contra mim; eles e seus pais prevaricaram contra mim, até este mesmo dia
4 And the sons [are] brazen-faced and hard-hearted to whom I am sending you, and you have said to them: Thus said Lord YHWH.
E são filhos de semblante duro, e obstinados de coração: eu te envio a eles, e lhes dirás: Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah.
5 And they—whether they hear, or whether they refrain, for they [are] a house of rebellion—have known that a prophet has been in their midst.
E eles, quer ouçam quer deixem de ouvir (porque eles são casa rebelde), saberão, contudo, que esteve no meio deles um profeta.
6 And you, son of man, you are not afraid of them, indeed, you are not afraid of their words, for briers and thorns are with you, and you are dwelling near scorpions, you are not afraid of their words, and you are not frightened of their faces, for they [are] a house of rebellion,
E tu, ó filho do homem, não os temas, nem temas as suas palavras; ainda que são sarças e espinhos para contigo, e tu habites com escorpiões, não temas as suas palavras, nem te assustes com os seus rostos, porque casa rebelde são eles.
7 and you have spoken My words to them, whether they hear or whether they refrain, for they [are] a rebellion.
Porém tu lhes dirás as minhas palavras, quer ouçam quer deixem de ouvir: porquanto eles são rebeldes.
8 And you, son of man, hear that which I am speaking to you; do not be of rebellion like the house of rebellion, open your mouth and eat that which I am giving to you.”
Mas tu, ó filho do homem, ouve o que eu te falo, não sejas rebelde como a casa rebelde: abre a tua boca, e come o que eu te dou.
9 And I look, and behold, a hand [is] sent forth to me, and behold, a roll of a scroll [is] in it,
Então vi, e eis que uma mão se estendia para mim, e eis que nela havia um rolo de livro.
10 and He spreads it before me, and it is written in front and behind, and written on it [are] lamentations, and mourning, and woe!
E estendeu-o diante de mim, e ele estava escrito por dentro e por fora: e nele estavam escritas lamentações, e suspiros e ais.
