< Ezekiel 2 >
1 His appearance [was] of the likeness of the glory of YHWH, and I see, and fall on my face, and I hear a voice speaking, and He says to me, “Son of man, stand on your feet, and I speak with you.”

2 And [the] Spirit comes into me when He has spoken to me, and causes me to stand on my feet, and I hear Him who is speaking to me.
Kai khaeah lok ang thuih naah ka thungah muithla to akun moe, anih mah ka khokkung ah angdoetsak pongah, ang thuih ih lok to ka thaih.
3 And He says to me, “Son of man, I am sending you to the sons of Israel, to rebelling nations who have rebelled against Me; they and their fathers have transgressed against Me, to this very day.
Anih mah, Kami capa, Kai ih lok aek koeh acaeng ah kaom, Israel caanawk khaeah kang patoeh han: Nihcae loe ampanawk baktih toengah vaihni ni khoek to ka lok to aek o, tiah ang naa.
4 And the sons [are] brazen-faced and hard-hearted to whom I am sending you, and you have said to them: Thus said Lord YHWH.
Palung len, palung thah kaminawk khaeah kang patoeh han: to naah nihcae khaeah, Angraeng mah,
5 And they—whether they hear, or whether they refrain, for they [are] a house of rebellion—have known that a prophet has been in their midst.
(nihcae loe angaek thaih kami ah oh o pongah, ) lok tahngai doeh om tih, tahngai ai doeh om tih, toe nihcae salakah tahmaa oh boeh, tiah panoek o tih.
6 And you, son of man, you are not afraid of them, indeed, you are not afraid of their words, for briers and thorns are with you, and you are dwelling near scorpions, you are not afraid of their words, and you are not frightened of their faces, for they [are] a house of rebellion,
Nang, kami capa, na taengah kapop parai soekhring to oh moe, sataai salakah na oh cadoeh, nihcae to zii hmah, a thuih o ih loknawk doeh zii hmah; nihcae loe angaek thaih kami ah oh o pongah, nihcae mah thuih o ih loknawk to zii hmah, nihcae ih mikhmai pongah doeh palungboeng hmah.
7 and you have spoken My words to them, whether they hear or whether they refrain, for they [are] a rebellion.
Nihcae loe laisaep thaih kami ah oh o pongah, nihcae mah tahngai maw, tahngai ai maw, nihcae khaeah ka thuih ih loknawk hae na taphong han oh.
8 And you, son of man, hear that which I am speaking to you; do not be of rebellion like the house of rebellion, open your mouth and eat that which I am giving to you.”
Toe nang, kami capa, kang thuih ih lok hae tahngai ah. Nang loe laisaep thaih kami imthung takoh baktiah laisaep hmah; pakha to aangh loe kang paek ih hmuen hae caa ah, tiah ang naa.
9 And I look, and behold, a hand [is] sent forth to me, and behold, a roll of a scroll [is] in it,
Ka khet naah kai khaeah payangh ban maeto ka hnuk; khenah, to ban ah caqam tangoeng cabu maeto oh.
10 and He spreads it before me, and it is written in front and behind, and written on it [are] lamentations, and mourning, and woe!
Anih mah to caqam tangoeng to ka hmaa ah khramh naah, caqam ahnuk ahma tarik ih qahhaih, palungsethaih hoi khosak binghaih loknawk to oh.
