Ezekiel 11
1 And [the] Spirit lifts me up, and it brings me to the east gate of the house of YHWH, that is facing the east, and behold, at the opening of the gate [are] twenty-five men, and I see in their midst Jaazaniah son of Azzur, and Pelatiah son of Benaiah, heads of the people.
Além disso, o Espírito me levantou e me levou ao portão leste da casa de Yahweh, que olha para o leste. Eis que vinte e cinco homens estavam à porta do portão; e vi entre eles Jaazanias, filho de Azzur, e Pelatiah, filho de Benaías, príncipes do povo.
2 And He says to me, “Son of man, these [are] the men who are devising iniquity, and who are giving evil counsel in this city;
Ele me disse: “Filho do homem, estes são os homens que planejam a iniqüidade, e que dão conselhos perversos nesta cidade;
3 who are saying, It [is] not near—to build houses, it [is] the pot, and we [are] the flesh.
que dizem: 'O tempo não está próximo de construir casas'. Este é o caldeirão, e nós somos a carne”.
4 Therefore prophesy concerning them, prophesy, son of man.”
Portanto, profetiza contra eles. Profetiza, filho do homem”.
5 And [the] Spirit of YHWH falls on me, and He says to me, “Say, Thus said YHWH: You have said correctly, O house of Israel, And I have known the steps of your spirit.
O Espírito de Javé caiu sobre mim, e ele me disse: “Fala, 'Javé diz: “Assim disseste tu, casa de Israel; pois eu sei as coisas que te vêm à mente.
6 You multiplied your wounded in this city, And filled its out-places with the wounded.
Vocês multiplicaram seus mortos nesta cidade, e encheram suas ruas com os mortos”.
7 Therefore, thus said Lord YHWH: Your wounded whom you placed in its midst, They [are] the flesh, and it [is] the pot, And He has brought you out from its midst.
“'Portanto o Senhor Javé diz: “Seus mortos que você colocou no meio dela, eles são a carne, e este é o caldeirão; mas você será trazido para fora do meio dela.
8 You have feared a sword, And I bring in a sword against you, A declaration of Lord YHWH.
Temestes a espada; e eu trarei a espada sobre vós”, diz o Senhor Yahweh.
9 And I have brought you out of its midst, And given you into the hand of strangers, And I have done judgments among you.
“Eu vos tirarei do meio dela, e vos entregarei nas mãos de estranhos, e executarei julgamentos entre vós”.
10 You fall by the sword, I judge you on the border of Israel, And you have known that I [am] YHWH.
Você cairá pela espada. Julgar-vos-ei na fronteira de Israel”. Então você saberá que eu sou Yahweh.
11 It is not for a pot for you, Nor are you for flesh in its midst, I judge you at the border of Israel.
Este não será seu caldeirão, nem você será a carne no meio dele. Eu o julgarei na fronteira de Israel.
12 And you have known that I [am] YHWH, For you have not walked in My statutes, And you have not done My judgments, And according to the judgments of the nations Who are around you, you have done!”
Você saberá que eu sou Iavé, pois você não andou nos meus estatutos. Vocês não executaram minhas ordenanças, mas o fizeram após as ordenanças das nações que estão ao seu redor””.
13 And it comes to pass, at my prophesying, that Pelatiah son of Benaiah is dying, and I fall on my face, and cry—a loud voice—and say, “Aah! Lord YHWH, You are making an end of the remnant of Israel.”
Quando profetizei, Pelatiah, o filho de Benaiah, morreu. Então eu caí de cara, chorei em voz alta e disse: “Ah Senhor Yahweh! Vós fareis um fim completo do remanescente de Israel”?
14 And there is a word of YHWH to me, saying,
A palavra de Javé veio a mim, dizendo:
15 “Son of man, your brothers, your brothers, men of your family, and all the house of Israel—all of it—[are] they to whom inhabitants of Jerusalem have said, Keep far off from YHWH;
“Filho do homem, seus irmãos, até mesmo seus irmãos, os homens de seus parentes, e toda a casa de Israel, todos eles, são aqueles a quem os habitantes de Jerusalém disseram: 'Vá para longe de Javé'. Esta terra nos foi dada por uma possessão”.
16 it [is] ours, the land has been given for an inheritance; therefore say, Thus said Lord YHWH: Because I put them far off among nations, And because I scattered them through lands, I am also for a little sanctuary to them, In lands to where they have gone in.
“Portanto, diz: 'O Senhor Javé diz: “Enquanto eu os afastei para longe entre as nações, e enquanto os espalhei entre os países, ainda assim serei para eles um santuário por algum tempo nos países onde eles vieram””.
17 Therefore say, Thus said Lord YHWH: And I have assembled you from the peoples, And I have gathered you from the lands, Into which you have been scattered, And I have given the ground of Israel to you.
“Portanto, diz o Senhor Javé: “Eu vos congregarei dos povos e vos congregarei fora dos países onde fostes espalhados, e vos darei a terra de Israel”.
18 And they have gone in there, And turned aside all its detestable things, And all its abominations—out of it.
“'Eles virão para lá e tirarão de lá todas as suas coisas detestáveis e todas as suas abominações.
19 And I have given one heart to them, And I give a new spirit in your midst, And I have turned the heart of stone out of their flesh, And I have given a heart of flesh to them.
Eu lhes darei um coração, e colocarei um novo espírito dentro deles. Tirarei o coração pedregoso de sua carne e lhes darei um coração de carne,
20 So that they walk in My statutes, And keep My judgments, and have done them, And they have been to Me for a people, And I am to them for God.
para que possam caminhar em meus estatutos, e manter minhas ordenanças, e as façam. Eles serão meu povo, e eu serei seu Deus.
21 As for those whose heart is going to the heart Of their detestable things and their abominations, I have put their way on their head, A declaration of Lord YHWH.”
Mas quanto àqueles cujo coração anda atrás do coração de suas coisas detestáveis e de suas abominações, eu lhes trarei o caminho sobre suas próprias cabeças', diz o Senhor Javé”.
22 And the cherubim lift up their wings, and the wheels [are] alongside them, and the glory of the God of Israel [is] over them above.
Então os querubins levantaram suas asas, e as rodas estavam ao lado deles. A glória do Deus de Israel estava sobre eles acima.
23 And the glory of YHWH goes up from off the midst of the city, and stands on the mountain, that [is] on the east of the city.
A glória de Yahweh subiu do meio da cidade, e ficou na montanha que fica no lado leste da cidade.
24 And [the] Spirit has lifted me up, and brings me to Chaldea, to the expulsion, in a vision, by [the] Spirit of God, and the vision that I have seen goes up from off me;
O Espírito me levantou, e me trouxe na visão pelo Espírito de Deus para a Caldéia, para os cativos. Então a visão que eu tinha visto subiu de mim.
25 and I speak to the expulsion all the matters of YHWH that He has showed me.
Depois falei com os cativos todas as coisas que Yahweh tinha me mostrado.
